Mo Brady’s Menu

Walking into Mo Brady's, your eyes slowly adjust to the dimly lit interior. The tables are illuminated by the soft glow of street lamps, and the leather booths reminiscent of an age long ago are being filled with the original occupants. That's right, 0ver 60% of the customers were over 60. This was odd to me, but then it hit me, just like you know a BBQ place is good by the number of motorcycles parked outside, you can judge a steak house by the number of grandparents attending. HAving been around the block a time or two, and living on a fixed income, this gathering of grandmas and grandpas meant that I was going to get a good meal for a bargain price! What is this gem that I have stumbled upon in the dark? It's Mo Brady's! My wife and I ordered the spinach artichoke dip, and it was amazing! The steak I ordered was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. The mashed potatoes were awesome, and the before dinner salads were fantastic! I ordered a caesar salad, and my wife ordered their house garlic dressing. They were both good, but if you have not tried the garlic dressing, do! I think this will be our go-to steak house now, great food at a reasonable price. My last tip- if you need a handicapped parking spot, get there early! If you found this review helpful, please take a second to compliment it, rate it as helpful and become a fan!

My mom loves their pan seared salmon. So much so that she wants to ask the chef how to make it...although I don't think she understands that the chef wouldn't want to do that because then he'd lose her business. I digress... we stopped by on a Sunday evening, about 45 minutes before closing, so it was pretty empty. The rolls that they brought to the table were tasty but I should've avoided them because I ate two and then couldn't eat much of my meal. I ordered the crab cakes dinner with green beans almondine. I received 4 crab cakes about the size of the base of a water bottle (couldn't think of a better comparison). They seemed to have a little more bread filling than crab. I only ate one and some green beans because I spoiled my appetite with the rolls. They weren't the best crab cakes I'd ever had but they weren't bad either. My mom of course, got her salmon with a baked sweet potato and she was happy. We were in and out before closing time. I don't live in the area but whenever I visit my family again I probably won't choose to come here. I wasn't overly impressed and the food tasted average and seemed overpriced.

I had the pork tenderloin. The breading was not too heavy. It seemed made in house. It tasted good. When we walked in the musty smell was a bit overwhelming we sat down at our table and I almost walked out. The decor is well kept but very outdated. Overall we like what we got. But it was a bit expensive. Had it not been for the smell and the decor they would have gotten a 5.

Poor overall food quality, steak was tough, prime rib over cooked, salad had way too much dressing, poor lighting made me think it was not clean. Tonight was our first and last time, wasted 112.00 dollars. Service was very good just need to get the food to match.

Dimly lit..Take off a point. Beef barley soup very good. Garlic salad had too much dressing for me, but it had a good flavor.7 oz. Filet was a good portion..good flavor. Dinner& dessert for 2... $65...I thought it was worth it.

I hate coming to this place, but have to, because some of my eating companions come here often to celebrate birthdays etc. Yes they are white hairs. Formica top tables, eating utensils wrapped in huge linen napkins thrown in a pile in the center of table. But get this--You get two forks and a honkin huge steak knife, all of which are smudged with what I don't know. You get a basket of square rolls they call biscuits with soft butter mix. Butter plates are stacked on table and the guests have to hand them out . Now get this-each guest has to use the big honkin steak knife to dig into the butter and put it on their bread plate. When food is served, it is served on huge plates which are to big for the size of table. Yes, your plate crashes into next person's plate sitting next to you. Food is over priced and not exceptional. Spinach salad is good, but dig deep into your pockets if you want to have one sliced grilled chicken breast added to it. This restaurant is decorated with some kind of cowboy motif or what I don't know, but very out dated.. Seating is uncomfortable. Now if it's a birthday you're celebrating you get bread pudding and ice cream at desert time. I think the birthday person gets a teaspoon with it. Good luck if you want to pass it around to share with others at the table. No one has teaspoons! Don't know if the "pudding" was good. I DON'T SHARE ONE EATING UTENSIL WITH SEVEN PEOPLE! Even though the pricing is somewhat high-trust me this is not a fine restaurant. Even a diner will give a patron a complete table setting. Ya know, a table knife, one or two forks and a teaspoon. Good grief.

Until going here I figured the best steaks in the area were at a chain like Outback or Texas Roadhouse. Mo Brady's proved me wrong with not only top notch ribeye and new york strip but a delicious blue cheese dressing on the salad (probably the best of its kind if not most generous with the cheese), delicious rolls, and excellent potatoes. The prices are average though the portions are worth it. The steaks were perfectly done and well seasoned and the service was excellent.

When we walked in, all I saw was a sea of white hair! Good service and enjoyable food.

We have been here many times. Every time we have family from out of town visit we take them here. The food is fantastic. The Mac n Cheese is to die for. Service is tops. Their other place is Miss Mamie's in Moline, IL but the menu is different, no mac n cheese, so we go to Mo Brady's in Davenport. The kids love the food so much they are quiet while eating, just enjoying it like the rest of us. The best steaks around. This place is owned by a real trained Chef.

Went there Wednesday 25 June at 5 pm , not very busy. Ordered Ribeye steak Med/rare first steak was well done sent back second steak was bluefish red rarer than rare. My group was through eating they offered to put steak back on grill, but is cook steaks all the time when you re put steak on grill after removing it and it cooling a bit it doesn't come out right in my opinion , and by time as I said my group was through eating. They didn't offer me removing it from bill was kinda rude about me being dissatisfied with steak, like I was too demanding a customer. So I took raw steak home and paid bill, as I checked out the person at the checkout stand told me his dad is cook and he is a graduate of culinary arts school and he knows how to cook steaks I was wrong was rude enough my party who lives here was offended and they like going there. I must admit the garlic salad was excellent and the green beans I would have come back just for those but the son checking me out changed my mind, I will never come back to Mo Brady's Maybe a family run business but a sorry would have been better taken than telling me off!!

Not worth my time or money. Went on a tip from a coworker, who said it was her favorite restaurant. Servers were dressed in dingy Hawaiian shirts, decor looked cheap and outdated. Food was bland, and my dish was way overcooked and mushy, tasted as if it had been in a crock pot all day- and it was a sautéed chicken and veggie dish! My husbands dish was lack-luster as well. Neither of us have any desire to try again. Granted this visit was about four years ago, so if you are feeling brave, maybe things have improved???

What's a great way to know you're getting a good deal? When you walk into a restaraunt and you see a stack of people who look like your grandparents. Not only was the food delicious, but it was almost cheap. They also had a nice selection of martinis and other drinks including one of the local brews. The salmon and steak are fantastic.
