    The food is wonderful. I have literally walked 2.5 miles just to have the Chicken Florentine soup (needed the exercise and Biaggi's was my treat. And the service is even better then the food. I have had the veal, various chicken dishes, etc,, and have never had a bad meal. I worked for a Fortune 500 company and this was one of our go-to places to take out-of-towners. You really can't go wrong here.

    I'm really beginning to loathe the scripted nonsense foisted on servers at corporate chains, e.g. "How are you enjoying..." "Is everything wonderful?" etc. It makes servers sound a little cultish. Biaggi's is guilty along with a number of other chains. A simple "Everything OK?" is perfect. And time it so I haven't just shoved food into my food hole when asked. Please. Anyway, seemed like a nice place, but the bistecca americana was possibly the worst steak I have ever tried to eat. About 1/3 of it was just OK, but the rest was Grandma's farm boot. I hardly ever complain but for the price, sorry, I did. They took it off the bill. Won't be going back.

    I do like this place, don't get me wrong. My food has always been great and the service has never been bad. But honestly, it's not worth all the hype. I think of it as a slightly fancier Olive Garden. I know a lot of people choose this place for the fine dining atmosphere but if that's what you're searching for, I'd recommend going to Johnny's Italian Steakhouse. The prices are comparable and the food is so much better. I do really enjoy the chicken cannelloni, though beware, it is very filling. If you've somehow managed to save room for dessert, definitely get the lemon tower cake. It's big enough to share!

    About as good as it gets for Italian in the Quad Cities. Nice place that draws a higher end crowd. The table bread is delicious with olive oil/parm...ask for a little balsamic to mix in as well to knock it out of the park. Best chicken parm in the QC and portions of most entrees are very generous. Service is normally pretty good and always accommodating to custom orders (hold this, add that).

    In December, my family had the difficult task of laying to rest my 16 year old cousin. After a draining weekend, my uncle and aunt took all of us (maybe 50 people) to Biaggi's to spend one last hour together before everyone had to go back home. I guess this is a chain, but there aren't any locations in Kansas City so this was my first experience eating here, and I was blown away. This is a classy place. The restaurant was beautiful, and the service was wonderful. We were given an option of four different meals, rather than all ordering from the menu, and I chose a salmon dish (I can't remember the specific name) and the crème brulee, both of which were delightful. The servers kept my wine glass full all throughout the meal, and were thoughtful enough to allow us to speak and grieve in peace. Maybe this is a chain, but so what. They made a difficult weekend feel a little less painful.

    My 2nd meal here & again it did not disappoint! Again we started w the the beet salad-better-than I remembered. Also the crab dip-quite good (tho a bit salty). Wine list was very good-something for all tastes. Shared a main course of sea scallops over risotto-delicious! Again, both of us informed our server of food allergies & both she & the kitchen staff went out of their way to accommodate us-with delicious results! Dessert was the Nutella skillet cookie w ice cream...OMG!! I will be craving that when I return to NY! Our server was, yet again, extremely knowledgeable on the menu & the wines and was friendly & attentive. We sat eating & drinking & talking for almost 3 hours and never once felt rushed or hurried along. So great to see consistency in a great restaurant!

    If I had to describe Biaggi's, I would say...think of a slightly more dressed up Olive Garden. The service was good and the staff friendly. The food was ok, but not memorable. I remember the penne sardi was slightly under seasoned. It's hard to find much wrong with the restaurant, but at the same time it's difficult to remember what was great about the place.

    Fantastic! I was surprised to learn that Biaggi's is a chain restaurant. Every bit of our experience was personal and and classy. The calamari was recommended so we ordered it for a starter. The squid was served with a tomato sauce and a spicy vegetable sauce. Very tasty! I ordered the chicken marsala, which was served with mashed potatoes and spinach. Absolutely delicious! My wife ordered lobster fettuccine which was also vey good. Bread and an olive oil/seasoning dip is served before your meal. The atmosphere is classy, not formal, but you would feel under-dressed if you wore a t-shirt. I recommend Biaggi's if you are looking for great Italian food in the Quad Cities, check out Biaggi's!     Fantastic find! The Bisteca Americana was amazing and my friend had the Shrimp Primavera and it was also great! You must try the Tiramisu... it's heavenly! Tom, our waiter was delightful! Overall a great dining experience!

    This place is the best kept secret in Iowa. Beats the Olive garden by a mile. Soup and salad with focaccia bread is our favorite. The soups are always great and salads always fresh. Great deal. They are a little slow when ordering seconds so you have to be patient.

    Please open one up in the St. Louis area. The OFallon,Il area would be perfect for your restaurant. All we have is the Olive Garden. Which, is nothing great. The area is ripe for a quality restaurant like yours. I have to drive to The Hill in St. Louis to get any thing near the quality of Biaggis. The closest Macaronni Grill is 40 minutes away. It's the only thing close to Biaggis. But, still not as good.

    The food here is incredibly boring, bland and overpriced. Oh boy people go crazy for it because the lights are dim and it seems to be a "fancy" restaurant is just proof that Quad Citians are so hard up for a good restaurant that they can easily be fooled by an image. The decor was in fact just as boring as the food and the "atmosphere" could nearly put you to sleep. I suppose if they made it dim enough in there it would distract from the pathetic food and decor. An Italian restaurant that can't even make a simple ravioli in marinara? And rarely do I not finish a steak especially at $22 but I was so bored that I wished i had just bought one at the supermarket and grilled it at home. $80 for a poorly ribeye and a few beers, a plain spaghetti for my daughter and a bowl of mac & cheese for my son...no thanks! If it were good then sure but we ended up just throwing away the leftovers we took home. I even know one of the cooks who works there and she advised me not to waste my time. I should have listened.

    I no longer live in the area, but whenever I'm visiting this is one of my favorite places to go. Yes yes, it's technically a chain and normally that goes against everything I believe in, but just thinking about rosemary/onion focaccia bread makes me salivate all over myself and before I know it I'm dipping my principles in olive oil and eating them like it's my job. Besides the magic bread crack, Biaggi's rules for many reasons. First, their service has always been very good; servers are knowledgable, professional, and friendly, but not to the point that makes me want to vomit. Second, the location is pretty good for travelers and locals alike, with plenty of parking. They do a good business and I've seldom heard/seen it empty, but they seem to manage this really well, as tables are always clean/servers don't seem homicidal. Finally, their food is excellent. I have ordered a variety of things over the years (mostly pasta or fish dishes) and don't ever recall having a bad experience. My most recent meal was their potato/parm crusted tilapia. So. Good. The chef is also very cool about substitutions and requests, which just reaffirms their greatness. So. Let's recap. Biaggi's=awesome. Make a reservation during peak times. Eat bread. Wear elastic. Smile.

    One of the worst dining experiences I've had in years. Our waitress, Stephanie obviously did not want to be serving our table and she also didn't care that we had concerns about the quality of the food. The food was very bland and for several of us plus it tasted old. They cleared our table before we were done eating and didn't even ask if we were done. Waited up front to speak to the manager who never showed up. Saw him outside squatted down speaking to a customer touching her leg. Very inappropriate. Our table of seven has no plans going back to the restaurant ever!

    This place is garbage. First impressions matter the most. Waited ten minutes for water. Was up sold salads and soups in a manner that they were included in our entree. Asked for vodka cream sauce, got meat sauce in vodka color. Then was told by waiter that I was wrong. Returned an entree and the best thing I can say about this place, the focaccia bread was decent, albeit a bit salty. When the manager passes your table twice, then says nothing about your meal or if everything is ok, that's an indication of horrible service. Will not be returning. A sheep in wolves clothing. An Italian name with McDonald's service. Just this location. Save your money for Olive Garden. Pass on this location!!!!!

    From the bread and oil to the main course it was a excellent meal. We got excellent service as well as top notch Italian food. I had the bacon and blue cheese wedge salad and for the main course shrimp and chicken pene in lobster sauce delicious meal.

    The bread and oil to start the meal was awesome. Decent wine selection, good service, and pleasant atmosphere. Our entrees were fantastic, but... I had scallops that were not properly cleaned. They were terribly gritty - only reason I didn't rate higher. The tiramisu was the real deal - truly spectacular. I'll return next time I'm in the area. Scallops without the sensation of chewing sand would have resulted in four stars.

    Always a go-to for my husband and I on date night! I love their filet mignon with asparagus, and my husband can't get enough of their bread and has tried and liked quite a few of their pasta dishes. Safe bet for great food, just be prepared for a wait for a table!

    Been coming here for years. Food is consistently great, as is the friendly, knowledgeable staff. Reasonable prices for great food Would love to give it 5 Stars BUT I can't justify that because the noise level is horrendous! Why Biaggis and other could be good restaurants think glass and metal interiors with no curtains or other sound barriers are cool, I will never understand. I find shouting and still not hearing friends at my table intolerable. This could be fixed.....but doubt it will be

    We had a fiasco at another restaurant where we had reservations s for 20 on my brothers wedding day. They had a small intimate wedding and we were going to dinner after. A friend called Biaggis at the last minute and they accomodated us the minute we walked in the door. The staff was helpful, friendly and the manager even came out and said some words to the newly married couple. The service there was nothing but stellar and we were treated with much respect. Thank you to the staff and the cooks at Biaggi's for welcoming us on such short notice and taking care of our needs. You all made a bad situation into a good night's ending. We cannot thank you all enough!

    We had a great meal but we really could've made a meal out of bread and yummy oil mixture they serve with it! Hubby loved the creamy lasagna and the toasted ravioli was the best I've ever had! And our waitress, Rebecca, was fantastic!!

    Delicious food, excellent staff, wonderful atmosphere, and fun for groups! We felt like royalty at our rehearsal dinner. The party rooms are a perfect size, and the wait staff knows exactly how to keep you happy. Thank you, Biaggi's! We can never get enough of your appetizer menu!

    First impressions are important, right? My party and I were given a first by the host here: a deadline. Our party of nine walked in at 3:15p on a Sunday. When we gave the host our party size, the guy looked flustered. "I can seat you, but we need the table by 5pm." What?! Walking back to the table in the corner, it was apparent that space shouldn't be a issue. Sure we were being taken to the only large, round table, but the few dozen square four-tops screamed, "You can connect us to accommodate for large groups!" Weird. Terrible host aside, our server, Mo, was awesome. Very attentive, and she knew the menu and specials really well. Food was good. Definitely better than Olive Garden, probably on par with a Maggiano's. I really want to give this place two stars, but feel it's very unfair to Mo. We finished with 20 mins to spare; however, had we gotten dessert, I'm certain the host would have come and kicked us out...

    Wow- flavorful fresh healthy Italian. But killer tiramisu. Been traveling and doing antique shows for a month New Mexico to Michigan. Most pleasurable spot in the road. Davenport should be put on your hit parade if you want fresh friendly service and great food.

    Very flavorful dishes. This was my first Biaggi's experience. I would have rated it higher but I found it to be the same type atmosphere as every other chain Italian restaurant. I had the chicken Marsala and it was great. Maybe a bit strong on flavor, which kinda takes away from the dish and seem a little less authentic. I'll be back though to try something else.

    Hello all, I will start by saying I am not the biggest Fan of chain Italian restaurants but.................... I was extremely pleased and satisfied by all aspects of this restaurant. The service I had was impeccable. I had one of the specials that evening that included linguini with a light walnut cream sauce I believe with chicken and I substituted brocoli and mushrooms I believe, This replaced leaks and something else I did not care for. The combination was astounding. The sauce was to die for and the pasta was just rght. After dinner we actually moved to a back table and enjoyed coffee and conversation. Thank you Biaggi's for a great evening.

    My first experience wasn't the best due to the speedy waitress when taking our order (felt like I was at McDonald's drive thru - after every selection is that all, do you want something else, "hurry up already"..) I didn't like that one bit. Let us finish with our order and then ask is there anything else my goodness. Needless to say, we requested another waitress and she was excellent! Our first waitress ending up still helping out and really changed her attitude which is good. She also apologized. Other than that Biaggi's is good. A friend ordered a special steak dinner they suggested and it was pretty good. I've been to Biaggi's 3 times (twice for dinner and once for lunch) now and I always seem to get their steamed mussles (1 lb) because they're soooo good!! I've tried their eggplant parmesean and it was tasty as well. Yummy. Their minestrone soup is also wonderful. I would say, give this place a shot if you're in the area. Ambiance is decent, the noise level rises, but most of the staff is pretty darn nice. Biaggi's got the 3rd star due to the mussels. Yummy Happy Eating...

    Will not eat there again. The food taste like it sat in the refrigerator/freezer to long. Did not taste fresh EXCEPT for the sauté spinach. If you want Italian go to the Olive Garden. The inside is nice as long as you don't mind the sounds that reminds you of being in a cafeteria. The service was OK, not as good as Jake at the Village Inn in Moline, IL but, ok.

    went to supper on the 3rd with two other adults, got waited on by Christen Chenowith's doppelganger , place was pretty busy at 5:30 . All three of us had the best pork chop meal , in the quad cities, well , we think so. had some calamari and then cheesecake at the end. really had a great time, only hitch was , people had to shout over the loud music they had drowning out the conversation. so by 6:30 it was really loud in there. there are five other places to go to , to scream at each other , please consider shutting off the "Ambiance" music when the crowd gets above 40 people or so. 7:00 came and we decided that it was just too loud. will look forward to going back, just not on a weekend night.

    My fiancée and I had a pretty decent meal. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and my fiancée ordered the eggplant parmesan, which he enjoyed. I ordered a drink and it tasted very generic, like a wine cooler. Our waitress was nice but seemed a bit frazzled because they were pretty busy for a Wednesday. The portions of food are large, had some spaghetti to take home. I don't think we would go back. The restaurant was very loud and we had to shout at each other. I feel like biaggis is a glorified Olive Garden. There are nicer places in the quad cities if you want to dress up and pay a bit more money for food.

    Biaggi's is one of our favorite restaurants in the Quad Cities. Today's lunch did not disappoint. I had the Mediterranean Salad and hubs had the Wedge Salad. MIL had the tilapia. All were excellent. Service was friendly and attentive.

    I had a pasta that was less than impressive. The noodles seemed to be nothing more than great value standard noodles from Walmart. Considering how expensive it was, I would never go back.

    Amazing food, my husband had penne with a lobster sauce with shrimp and chicken it was out of this world.. Burst of flavor the minute you taste it. I had the penne with the sundried tomato sauce with chicken and mushrooms.. Both dishes had Caramelized onions.. Both were amazing dishes but I highly recommend my husbands dish.

    The food is ok, but it is overpriced. It certainly isn't the best Italian food I have had. We get the food for takeout every once in a while so obviously we don't care about presentation or anything. We are usually underwhelmed though, especially for the price that is paid.

    After having grown up with great Italian places this was a definite disappointment. I probably should have read up and known to lower my expectations for this so it's my own fault I'm sure. The atmosphere and the staff were nice. And you start with a yummy bread bowl with a "special" dipping sauce which is just olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and Parmesan. However the main food was very mediocre. Ordered the beet salad, which came with beets and arugula and goat cheese. Sounded so good on the menu and I was very excited for it. The salad dressing killed all that for me though. The balsamic vinaigrette felt straight out of the bottle and was completely overpowering with way too much for the amount of greens. I really should have asked for it on the side because I ended up eating just the beets and goat cheese (which were good). Also ordered crab cakes on the side which were okay. A little dry but fine. My date got the chicken parmesan, which I thought would be difficult to get too wrong. I mean, even if you don't get it to home cooked Italian standards, you can't go too wrong with breaded chicken covered in pasta sauce and melted cheese. But I was wrong. The chicken was bland and under-seasoned. And the same went for the pasta sauce. Overly sweet and lacking in flavor and freshness. And the New York cheese cake was another disappointment. Not rich or dense and with a slightly stale fridge-y taste. I think they really missed the boat on the basics of good Italian food. Missing the subtly and freshness and classic flavors. Maybe with some tweaks it could be ok but I don't think I'll be going back. I suppose leeway should be given for it being a chain, but I do think I'd prefer Olive Garden to this.

    Good, great, WONDERFUL (Americanized) Italian food. Zippy, friendly service and great ambience. I have to admit that I was taken here by my boyfriend after I suggested Olive Garden, and wasn't sure about going outside my comfort zone, but I am so glad that I did! Totally wishing we had a Biaggi's in Chicago.

    Our experience at Biaggi's was a pretty standard dining experience, with our server as the highlight. She was prompt, effective, and much to my amusement, proceeded to ID everyone at the table. We started with the Calimari Fritti, nice and crispy with the standard marinara and a nice Italian salsa. For my dinner, I'd been craving ravioli, so I settled on the Ravioli Quattro Formaggi, a cheese ravioli stuffed with 'a blend of ricotta, Parmesan, Romano and blue cheeses.' The blue cheese was especially intriguing to me, but wasn't present in enough quantity to stand up to the ricotta. In a battle, I'd think that even a hint of blue would shine through, so I was disappointed by that. Regardless, it had a good taste, and came with a three-sauce blend, so I proceeded to devour it all and sopped up the sauce with bread. Dessert was definitely the low-light of the meal. We went with the signature desserts of "Tirami Su" (I have no idea why they spell it like that) and creme brulee. The Tiramisu wasn't really to my liking in terms of texture, but had an okay flavor and worked well with my espresso. Now, I consider myself somewhat of a creme brulee connoisseur, and can say with certainty that this was the worst version I'd ever had. BUT, the manager and server saved it by re-making the creme to demonstrate that they are capable of pulling it off, and bringing out complementary espresso then taking all the desserts off the final bill.

    Reserved the "wine room" for a private party. Food was excellent. Too many great dishes to list individually, but the standouts were carpaccio, osso buco, pork chop al forno, and yes, you must have the Torta Ciccoolata to finish. Service from all staff was smooth and exceptionally friendly. Special shout out to Allison, you're great. They have an amazing gluten-free menu for an Italian restaurant. Thanks to Mary Sexton for her help in arranging the party. We must return to sus out the sauce for the fried ravioli.

    Great food, nice atmosphere, attentive wait staff, what more can you desire? Beet salad was tasty and presented nicely! Osso bucco (marinated veal shank, bone in) was tender and succulent also was an orgasm of flavor!! Courtney took very good care of me along with others. She provided good advice on the menu and even other restaurants in the area that serve different fare. $$ definitely but a good value too. I'll be back when in town!

    Great Italian restaurant if you want Italian but are gluten free. They have a full gluten free menu and delicious gluten free bread with olive oil to dip it in (just have to ask for it). Love the Caesar salad too. Way better than Olive Garden for about the same price.

    What's the excitement about it?? Don't get me wrong, I thought the service, location, facility and overall experience was good. That's why I gave it 3 starts, but let's talk about the key of any restaurant, food. I thought the portions were huge! If you like to eat a lot then this will be great for you. I ordered mussels and these were too salty for my taste, the house salad was pretty bad (lots of lettuce on a garlic vinaigrette sauce...) I got the small portion and I thought they had got me the large one... too much waste. My main dish was scallops and shrimp. How bad can you go with scallops and shrimp... well they were way to overcook, so scallops were chewy and shrimps were dry. Yep, I thought that could only happen to me and my amateur cooking skills. That's all my friends.

    I discovered Biaggi's while traveling for business. After my first visit I made a point to stop by each time I was in town. I absolutely love the ambiance of the restaurant. The wait staff is very well trained, very helpful, and super charming. I was remembered each time I visited. I especially like the breads and the beet salad. I am impressed with the presentation of the foods. I actually clapped when I saw my beet salad--just beautiful. I'll definitely make it a tradition to stop by next time I'm in the area!

    Don't get me wrong. The food is good but this is by far the worst atmosphere for an Italian restaurant. If you enjoy being packed in like sardines, yelling at your date because its so loud, and a mediocre serving staff, this place is for you! Never will I dine in here again. I suggest carry out if anything.

    This is one of the few restaurants that I can get beef carpaccio! It is absolutely delicious, served with olive oil and capers and a wonderful appetizer. Their pastas are perfectly al dente and the sauces are well made. Their linguine with white clam sauce is my favorite! A nice wine list to complement the entrees and great after dinner drinks. The only negative is the noise level in the main dining room. Don't try to hold an intimate conversation. It can't be done!!

    We eat here regularly. The staff are personable and professional, and there's not a second that we don't feel as though we're being taken care of. We love turkey sandwich, the crab cakes and, if it's offered as a special, the seafood chowder. We also highly recommend the house red to chianti lovers. We consider this our home away from home. We bring guests here and they always rave about it and want to return. Bellissimo!

    Well the girlfriend and I decided we would give this place a try. Terrible decision. We were seated right away and the environment was great though but as for the service and food...nowhere near what was expected. To start our plates for the bread were dirty so those had to be replaced. Not to big of a deal but that is just the start. Next, we ordered the fried ravioli, but, requested the sauce be on the side..of course..it is all over and our waitress apologized but we didn't send it back but we did request that we get some plates to eat off of as most places would serve and she explained that she had forgotten them and was sorry. She brought them back and put them on our table...I looked on my plate and there was a small bug that was still alive on my plate (disgusting). I told the waitress and she got me a new plate. Ordered our entrees finally (Salmon and shrimp for her and a steak medium well for me). Received steak and it was medium rare, sent it back and then received it what could maybe be considered medium, was too hungry so I at it anyways but did complain. Her salmon was seasoned with pepper to the point we could scrap it off and have enough to cover the plate..the rice was something that tasted like instant rice honestly, nothing that should be served with a $26 plate. To say the least it was not enjoyable to taste. Sent that back as well...asked for a manager and they didn't even try to adjust the check in any way to accommodate the extreme disappointment that we experienced. We may just be very picky because we enjoy very fine dinning (which we knew this wouldn't match up but were hoping for something at least kind of close) but all of this added on to food that was not appetizing was just disgusting. To top all of this off our waitress was so rude when we declined dessert and just said we would like the check, she became very snappy with us which was not appreciated. Glad we had received a gift card from Christmas so we didn't have to pay. Would definitely suggest spending $60 dollars elsewhere. Actually, just avoid this place at all costs.

    I came here for an early dinner and sat at the bar. I usually don't like eating by myself, but if you're traveling for work you really don't have a choice. It's either eating alone in a nice restaurant or McDs. Anyway, the bar attendant was really nice and very attentive. I ordered the top Sirloin (Medium) and a glass of Chianti. The steak (served with marinated green beans and mashed potatoes) was cooked well. There was a little more fat to trim off that I would have liked, but altogether it was a good meal.

    I booked the Wine Room sight unseen based on Yelp reviews for a private party. I was impressed with the room, it was pretty, but I'm bummed out that they gave us some n00b waiter with zero confidence or sense of urgency for a private party that could have probably made them even more money than they already did. He was nice, but just seemed totally inexperienced, he did not know how to take charge and I felt like I was doing his job for him by prodding him for menus, wine suggestions, when to take our order, etc. Service was slow, there was one menu at first for a party of 14, there was only one waiter and he didn't know what to do. Brought all the food out at different time (so, the soup came out for one person while main entree came out for another) which is really obnoxious to people with good manners who wait for everyone else to be on the same course. Never once did the friendly event coordinator I spoke to on the phone come say hello or welcome, which I felt was kind of bogus. They shut the door to the room and mostly forgot about us. The food was decent, but I doubt I'd come here again personally. We just spent at least $60/person (plus tip- +$1000 here!) and it doesn't seem like they have their stuff together, I get better service at Starbucks. Disappointing.

    Great Italian restaurant for the Quad Cities area. All the good classics are on the menu. Been there a few times over the years food and service has been constantly good. Dining area bar side is usually crowded and more lively. Wine selection is mainstream and sadly lacking french influences.

    A fresh breeze in the QC area. Excellent italian offerings range from pizza and fun appetizers such as carpaccio and an excellent tomato soup to mainstays such as the paillard salad (was this discontinued guys? bad idea) and salmon and shrimp milanese, lasagna bolognese, cappellini di mare (beware some seafood dishes at this location are not as fresh as they could be), penne sardi... on and on and on. We especially love the foccacia and assorted bread basket brought in and the Biaggi's butter (olive oil, parmesan, and freshly cracked pepper). The desserts are all remarkable ranging from the chocolate chip banana bread, or bananas foster, or deliciously refined semifreddo. A little high on staff turnover but still very much worth a try for refined Italian dining in the QCA. UPDATE July 2008: Beware the menu changes periodically as they tweak for the season and for items that don't sell as well. Very good specials though.

    Excellent Italian food. Great place to have a fancy dinner in a casual atmosphere. Biaggi's Ristorante is a small chain based in the Midwest, but this restaurant feels like it's the only one around.

    Terrible service! As a former regular patron I have completely given up on this place. On my last visit, as with similar visits, three waiters swooped in as my group was still eating and removed all the plates, including the free bread still in the baskets. There is no reason to take people's plates while they are still chewing. We have brought this up with the manager before, but it still happens. When I complained to the waitress about this, she simply looked at me and walked away. I cannot believe customers would be treated like that, but apparently so. Second, my sandwich was pathetic. Goat cheese and chicken? More like a thrown together disaster. Hardly anything on it, and it looked completely unappetizing.

    It's a chain, but a quality chain. My roommate and I like to go for lunch on Saturday or Sunday afternoons, split an entree, and gorge on bread. Otherwise, two entrees, appetizer, and wine, moderately pricey. Lines are ridiculous on weekend nights; make reservations. Service for me has varied from great to a little over mediocre. I've never received bad food here, and the bread is always wonderful. It's nice for special occasions, but I'm a poor college student and it's a little overpriced for the quality of food, IMHO.

    I don't know what I was thinking ordering the butternut squash sage ravioli. Sounded too rich, too heavy, and too much. And yet, I finished the dish. I didn't leave the place feeling good. The cheese, butter, and oils sat heavily in my stomach for several hours, rendering me immobile and unable to work. Still, the dish wasn't unpleasant. The bread was some good stuff, appetizers normal, and service expectedtly slow (crowded night). Would I go back? Yes. Would I go out of my way to go back? No. Hence, A-okay in my books.

    When I'm in the QC area I *have* to eat at Biaggi's ( biaggis.com ). The food is great. For an appetizer I suggest you try the sherry tomato soup . We also love their stuffed mushrooms & bruschetta. Biaggi's offers nice size portions - we always have left overs. Some good dishes are Butternut Squash Ravioli & Chicken Marsala. Make sure to leave room for dessert - I love their tiramisu. Their coffee was excellent as well.
