Small town pub + severe food allergy. Let's roll those dice! Ordered the potato skins and a side salad. Tasted good and no gluten reaction! Plus drinks were cheap and staff was super nice. And my favorite wall art was at the entrance - do you want to see the man in charge or the woman who knows what's going on? Will be back when in the area.

The food was edible, but I was very disappointed by the unexpected add-ons. We went to the Gasthaus with a vegetarian and ordered a beef burrito, with broccoli instead of beef - $2.00 extra. Two burgers with onion rings instead of chips - $11.00 extra - the price of two full appetizers and more than the cost of the hamburger. On the positive side the beer was a good deal. At $4.00 it was just twice as much as the onion add-on for my burger. Normally I love this sort of place, but price gouging changed that. As luck would have it, our server took a break when it was time to pay. We won't be going back.

This isn't necessarily on your way to anywhere but if you are anywhere near this place you have GOT to stop and eat here. The service was excellent and the food was fabulous. All homemade....got the special of the day which was slices of prime rib made into a fabulous sandwich. Someone mentioned that is was dark in there...yes it is but all the good things (food, service etc.) made up for it. If we ever get back that way we will eat there again.

I was going to give it 4 stars, but I couldn't think of anything negative, and I'm feeling generous after a great first impression. The staff is happy to be there and pass it on to the customer. Service was fast, food was hot, and beer was cold. The exterior doesn't match the interior, but both are clean and enjoyable.

Great food, friendly staff, fun eclectic decor. Very clean too. If we were not just traveling through Cherokee we would be regulars. BTW Guiness on tap!

Standard sysco pub fair for lunch. My burger was ok at best with seasoned waffle fries out of a bag. Good decor, friendly staff that never came back to check on me or fill my glass a second time. If I come back I'll give something on the menu a try that looks more creative in hopes that its better.
