I gave Pepper's 5 stars because it is as good as it gets for what I want it for. If you want to watch Sports, no matter who your team is, they will find the game for you and get you a seat so you can watch it. The service is also great in that fashion and don't mind if you sit for an extended period of time to watch the game. The food is good as well. They have a nice assortment of salads to steaks. It has standard bar food but everything (or almost) is made in house (I asked). The one knock is that many times youth sports teams will come in and parents sit and eat and let their kids run around, but that is more of a parenting issue. :)

I had the worst experience today. I did not even make it to a table before there was some sort of waiter "crisis". When I asked if all was ok the red haired waiter with the beard said, "I wasn't talking to you" in a very rude way. He started arguing with me while my little girl was there watching. I was so shocked by all of this I turned around and left. This was my first time at this restaurant. Though this was likely an isolated incident, I will never return.

Watched the Superbowl here. Not many Steelers fans in Iowa... The bar area to the right of the entrance was fun. They have a couple pool tables and dart boards and had some Superbowl food/drink specials. I had a corn-dog meal for kiddies...I was craving a corn-dog and no other place seemed to have them. I had fun, but it was probably the company more so than the place. I spent way too much time in Iowa!

My favorite sports bar in the cedar valley, mainly because it's quite large so it never feels overcrowded, even when its busy . Their food is good, but there's not a lot to choose from, and they don't have a printed drink menu.

Good food but standard bar food. Drink specials are pretty good. You can keep your drink cup at the end of your meal if you want!

Can't really say much about this place, I went when I was visiting family in Iowa because it kind of reminded me of my favorite place in Texas but was not really all that impressed, nor was I disappointed. bar food at a decent price and good drinks. A lot of the menu reminded me of a Chili's which I thought was funny since it was named Pepper's but the quality of food was not quite there. The bartender was really friendly and kept the drinks coming and that's always a good thing! The parking lot however was TERRIBLE people were parking where there were not even spots to park making it almost impossible to get out and since so many people were frusterated trying to get in, or park or get out it just seemed the people (in the parking lot not the staff) were really rude.

Whenever I would visit my sister while attending UNI many yrs ago, she always took me to Pepper's. Was in town for a swim meet so thought should try it again. A group of 6 of us were seated immediatly after arriving on a Friday nite at 7:30. Thought we might have to wait but I guess with school being out, not the usual packed college bar. I had the breaded chicken sandwich and I'll say it's probably the best I've had. Great breading and juicy chicken on a very tasty bun. My wife had the avacado quesadilla. It looked huge. She "liked" it. The other couple got a grilled chicken sandwich and a buffalo chicken wrap. Both really enjoyed their meals. The kids just got kids burgers and split the mozzarella cheese sticks. Burgers were ok but really liked the chz sticks. Waiter was even nice enough to split the cheese stick order onto both checks without us asking. Very good experience, will definitely go back. A real step up from the usual bar food.

One of the best sports bars in the area. Great place to watch NFL games, as they have all of the games and many TV's. The food above average for sports bar featuring a very diverse menu. Relatively reasonably priced as well.

Peppers is my go-to meal out restaurant. Always great service, large facility, and ALWAYS satisfyingly good food. I normally get the Strips and Fries (5 count) appetizer for my meal. You can tell it is quality meat and prepared on the spot. Great amount of food for a reasonable price. Definitely recommend!

Best burgers in town. Try to avoid peak times as it gets a bit noisy. Fried appetizers are usu good but can hit or miss.

Best sports bar in the cedar valley I love the atmosphere and the service is very great with attentive servers at all times. The tenderloins here are phenomenal and will leave you full. The pricing is average to slightly above but still worth it.

This casual sports pub establishment is a good place to kick back and relax and watch Sports such as the fact that they have NFL Sunday ticket and NBA TV to watch all the good NBA Games on. The food is also very good for being a sports pub. I would suggest not ordering extra sides with your meal, as an extra side of mashed potatoes is $3.95, which is insane considering the dish size is about 5 spoonfuls. They are known for their chicken tenders and fries, which is always a food dish to get there. The service is just so-so. It is not bad for a sports pub, but they definitely don't go out of their way. It can get pretty busy on weekend nights or during times when there is a big game on, so please note that. Overall, I would give it a b+ and 4 out of 5 stars.

I used to come here often during the NFL season because they have NFL Sunday ticket. The food is your typical bar food and the service is always so-so. They are usually willing (sometimes reluctant) to change the channel for you to accommodate your preferences for channels. I never thought there was anything too special about this place, but it's a nice mix up to some of the other common locations to watch sports games.

I want to like this place. The menu is really diverse with pasta, sandwiches, wraps, salads etc. but nothing is really fabulous just run of the mill. They make their own potato chips which a lot of people love but I think they are really greasy and always taste burnt. We had my sons birthday party here last July. I thought it would be a good place since they have upstairs seating and a wide variety of food. I called 6 weeks in advanced and asked for a upstairs area for 25 guests for a birthday party. No problem. When we got there the area was ready for us but to my surprise they had several tables pushed into the corner of the upstairs and told us they were going to sets other lunch guests at two they small 4 person tables upstairs as well. I had twenty five people coming and we couldn't have the whole area? Nope. We didn't have anywhere to put the cake or presents. They either sat on the table or on the floor. We were crammed in like sardines and you could tell the other guests who were seated with us felt uncomfortable too. The upstairs room isn't that big and there were still plenty of available seats down below in the main dining areas plus there is a whole other upstairs section on the other side with lots more seating. We spent $250 on food alone and since I called in advance to book the area it upset me we couldn't just have the whole space so we could have been more comfortable. Plus the waitress didn't keep up on our drinks and even though our food was all ordered at the same time there was so much time in between serving it some of my guests were done before others got their food. They totally forgot my fathers order and so he was served way after everyone once we realized they didn't bring him anything. I will not be having any future events here. Plus I don't know what they cook their food in but I always have an upset stomach after eating here.

The food is always great. The grilled chicken supreme sandwich is awesome. The seasoning for fries and homemade chips is delicious!

Peppers is a great grill and sports bar in the Cedar Falls area. I often stop by here to grab a meal with some friends or watch a game on one of the many tv's. This place always has relatively fast seating and service (I came here with a group of 14 and was seated within 5 minutes). The food is great for the price and is always a good stop. The service can sometimes be mediocre, but if usually good. Check it out!

Pepper's is a great sports pub and has some really good food. I love their pepper jack cheese sticks, buffalo wrap, and their hamburgers are pretty good too. The atmosphere during games is always a lot of fun. Not every table is the "best seat" in the house (some awkward corners that you can get stuck in sometimes) but I'm forgiving of it because of the environment. Everyone packs in there and it gets real exciting and intimate very fast! One of my favorite memories here was the Greenbay verse Cowboys playoff game during Favre's last season with the Pack.
