One night around 7:45pm ordered a pizza -- had to repeat the cell number & address literally 3 times!! OK, so the order will take about 45 mins...which means somewhere around 8:30ish to expect pizza. Well...it was about 9:00pm & NO PIZZA. Called to check on the "status" of the food...the lady says "oh well the driver & myself tried to call you twice when he was outside" ...how can?! I was sitting RIGHT THERE OUTSIDE!! then the lady says "oh well we must have the wrong address". SEROUSLY. gave the guy the address & phone number 3 times each!!! SO THEN...she said they're gonna make another pizza & have it sent on its way in 30mins. it's seriously after 9:30pm waiting..then eating dinner. pizza was free. but still...unacceptable.

Called and ordered pizza at 5:30. I had to repeat my number seriously like 5 times. Then was told it would be 45 minutes for delivery. Well an hour later at 6:30 I called asking what's taking so long and then find out they "lost" my order. Then the manager gets on the phone and tells me it was put in as a carry out not delivery. I was pissed. Then the manager tells me it will be $2.50 more to my total that I already paid for to deliver it and it would be ANOTHER 45 minutes to deliver after already waiting over an hour. Worst customer service ever! I ended up canceling my order after 2 hours and all I got was a sorry! Not even a free pizza. And these guys were playing phone games, I talked to 3 different people before getting to the manager. What a pathetic store!!

My arteries are clogging as I write this from the garlic dipping sauce that I drenched my pizza with. When I don't want to cook Papa always is there to rescue me and my mom. I love the thin crust Hawaiian pizza and I'm glad that they started giving the dipping sauce again after a brief hiatus. Although I tend to like Domino's, Papa John's is a close second and closer to my house now that Domino's closed up shop. The Mililani branch is almost always way quicker than the time they tell you that they are going to deliver your food. Hold on, I think the left side of my body is going numb.

I ordered through the phone because the site wasn't working. I ordered extra an extra dipping sauce and some peperoncinis. I called just to let them know and got out on hold for 10-15 minutes, then some other guy came on and tells me "HELLO! yeah I can help you." I told him I didn't get my extra sides but no big deal he's so he tells me "okay.... Well uh I guess the delivery guy can drive allllll the way back there JUST for those two things, OR get a refund JUST for those things we forgot." I wasn't asking for a refund or BS sarcastic attitude. I live barely 5 minutes away BTW. Worse service ever

I love Pizza Hut. Usually. I say that to say this: Papa John's got our business because last time we ordered out here, Mililani Pizza Hut crashed and burned on their crust (although the Kuakini location is still ok), AND Papa John's now offers a 2-for-1 card like Pizza Hut's literacy card. $10 bucks and good for 12 months from purchase. But we like them for their current Web Wednesday deal--$10 for a large specialty pizza. Can't beat $20 for 2 large specials. We only order online/with the iPhone app, and always use the online deal codes. It's just easier. And cheaper. And EASIER. We get the thin crust, because pizza in Hawaii is...pizza in Hawaii (ey, if you've lived or travelled anywhere else, you KNOW it's true--no act!). There's always something off with the sauce or the crust, no matter what shop we get the pie from, so thin crust has been the way to go for us. PROs: +Web Wednesday for $10 per large pizza (specialty or 3-topping) +Aloha Card offers 2 for 1 deals +Lots of coupons +Toppings here have been as plentiful as Pizza Hut's +Fast pick-up service (haven't tried their delivery, and probably won't) +Friendly customer service, if a little on the "yeah, I'm a teenager working at a pizza joint--I'll yell if I want to" side. But it ain't fake! +Plenty of parking in the lot +Thin crust is consistently crunchy and well-baked +iPhone app makes ordering MUCH easier than calling it in +That little pepperoncini is fun, unless you're fighting off your family to eat it (just buy a jar of them, already, you guys!) +If you want to eat in, there's a bunch of tables. AND a bathroom (unisex, but still--look! A bathroom! Yay!) CONs: -No, no stuffed crust. By that or any other name. Ever. -Calling the order in can be painful on your patience. Fo' real. -Regular prices are NUTS. BOTTOM LINE: Going back. On Wednesday. For pickup. And ordering online.

So we ordered the pizza online and our order went through at 5:47 and the pizza didn't show up at the door until 6:37... yeah okay not bad right? Okay so the pizza guy shows up he gives us our order, total about $40 yeah okay whatever, and THEN dude has the audacity to say "Wow, no tip?" WTF???????? Yeah k, gave him his tip, now get outta here! Open the box and the pizza wasn't even hot as if it was just sitting on the counter and they forgot about, but seriously? I'm hungry & tired from work and I get this? Yeah whatever dude, save yourself the trouble and go to Pizza Hut. Peace!

Went there a couple of nights ago to pick up our order. WORST customer service ive ever had anywhere!! Girl who was working the counter, was rude as soon as we stepped in the door. Slammed the reciept & pen....on top of throwing my credit card back at me. WORST customer service ever. I definitely dont recommend.

  • Lindsey K.

Good luck getting your pizza! We called at 5:00pm for delivery and it's now 6:55pm. This is just about THE WORST service we've ever had! I wish there was an option to not give any stars, but apparently it's mandatory minimum 1. We wanted to try Papa Johns because its been years since we ate there. Why does it take 2 hours for 1 pizza and the brownie dessert? Called to check on it and whoever took the order didn't process it. The manager was apologetic (ok that gets the 1 star) and said he'll redo our order and deliver for free, but not holding any hope for it. Seriously! If you want pizza in Mililani delivered, go to Pizza Hut or Dominos! They have way better service than this place.

  • Joshua M.

I have lived all over the country and the Papa John's in Mililani is THE WORST LOCATION IN AMERICA! They are always very slow to deliver and completely disregard their stated delivery time of no more than 1 hour. It's hit or miss at best as far as the quality as far as how well it's baked and expect it to be COLD. Employees are incredibly lazy, incompetent, probably high on crystal meth, and customer service is the rudest you can expect anywhere. Go with Pizza Hut or Domino's if you live in Mililani.

  • Crystal P.

Worst place ever. I would give then no stars if I could. I ordered a pizza and was told 30 minutes. I went to pick it up and waited an additional 30 minutes after!!! The workers stood around and did nothing. I gave another chance after bc I love their pizza. I tried to order online but one of the promo codes I received in the mail wasn't for the same deal as when I the promo code. I called to explain it wasn't working. I experienced such bad customer service with a lady who was rude on the phone. Her boss was a bit more understanding but I took my business to Pizza Hut instead due to terrible customer service. Sorry papa johns mililani, you lost me as a customer.

  • Ronald L.

Pizza is good but a good deal going on now is the web Wednesday. You order a large 3 topping or specialty pizza on line for $10. Lots of free parking but located on the quieter side of Mililani, a little out of the way.

Our go-to for quick, friendly service and take out. Papa Johns run a little more pricey than on the mainland but the food is really awesome. I like pizza (read love) and regret my paleo dieting decisions each day I'm not able to dial a friendly voice to take me to Pizza Heaven. Dough is gooey, chewy and the slices are hefty but manageable. I like to stuff in like a luau pig and then sit back with some dessert option and a 2-liter. My meat favorites are seldom ever overcooked and they also have the super convenient build-a-pizza and delivery request all online. And you can even earn points to a free pizza after so many purchases. Why not get free eats to eat? Don't feel like cooking, try these guys out. They also have bike parking and limited seating for burning those calories you're enjoying.

Ordered a pizza at 220pm and it took 96 minutes for my order to arrive. It was barely warm and the Soda was room temperature... Also when I finally go to get a slice of pizza it wasn't even cut all the way through so I had to cut my own pizza. Just avoid this place I know I will from now on.

We've tried many Papa John's locations, this one is the best. Our pizzas turned out awesome, delivery guy called me and he let me know when he will arrive exactly. I've had the most delicious Spinach Alfredo ever from this location. We tipped him well. Good job.

I'm giving Papa John's Pizza 5 stars for their awesome service tonight. The operator was friendly and paid close attention when my friend was telling the address and phone number. She did not have to repeat herself. He told her it would take no longer than 30-45 minutes to have our pizza ready. 45 minutes later it was served on the kitchen table. Good job staff of the night! You did good this time !

So far every time in, friendly courteous service. Waits are reasonable. And they occasionally have a very nice looking girl working here. I am pretty happy with the pizza too, nice flavor.

Called at 5:51pm. I looked online prior to calling and wanted to get the BOGO Tuesday special. When I called, they asked if I wanted to hear the specials.... I said sure! I didn't hear the BOGO, so I asked if they had that special. The person who picked up the phone had to ask whoever in the back... Told them what I wanted and specifically said DELIVERY. I hung up and was anxiously waiting. I had my daughter check the front door every time our dog barked. She got irritated after checking a handful of times. At 7:08pm I finally called them to see what was up! Omg! They had us down for pickup! Wth! I told them I wanted delivery. They apologized and said that they will remake the pizza and deliver it. At this time it was 7:10. They said that it will take 20 minutes! 20 minutes to remake 2 pizzas and deliver it to Mauka???? It's 7:25pm now... Time is ticking! ... It's now 7:35pm... I hear a car outside! And the dog is barking! Yeh! My husband goes outside and sees its a Pizza Hut car next door! Epic fail! Lol!

There's a difference of opinions in our household on who sells the best pizza. The battle is between Pizza Hut and Papa John's. The girls prefer Papa John's for the thin crust, less oily pizza and because they offer their original garlic dipping sauce. The man likes Pizza Hut because that's what he "grew up on". More often than not the man gets his way because the woman can live and won't pout if she eats his preferred pizza. However, once in a blue moon the woman will get her way and order a pie from Papa John's. When I ordered they had a special for 2 medium pizzas with one topping and a liter of preferred drink for 24.95. I got a hawaiian pizza and a pepperoni for the man. Over the phone I asked the person taking my order whether they still provide the garlic dipping sauce. She said yes and I was happy. I picked up my pizza and ordered 2 more dipping sauces, went to my car, checked to see if they put the dipping sauce into the box and I only saw 2. Maybe it was a misinterpretation on my part but I thought the lady said they included 1 dipping sauce per pizza. I walked into the shop again to remind them that I paid for 2 dipping extra dipping sauces and I only saw 2 in the box. I was expecting 4, ya know?! Am I adding wrong? Apparently the thin crust pizzas don't receive free dipping sauces. Why not? Is it because they're thin? Why can't thin pizzas receive the garlic dipping sauce love too? Oh well. Nonetheless the pizza was good. And I can gauge that by the number of pieces my girl ate...she ate 2 honkin' slices. That's a lot for her since she eats like a bird. My favorite part about Papa John's pizza? The pepperoncini, of course! I take a bite of the pizza then a small bite of the pepperoncini. I have to ration the pepperoncini because I need to make sure each bite of pizza = bite of pepperoncini.

Not as good as pizza hut, but in my book, it's great pizza and brings back memory's of going there after school when I was a child. Great pizza, great price, and doesn't get too busy. however, when i tried calling them to order a pizza, they didn't answer. So called Pizza hut instead and got a person instantly.

Pizza pizza pizza... a standard in American cuisine! I LOOOOVE me some pizza, and I ALWAYS order from Pizza Hut... BUT Daddy said that he wanted to try something different. I cringe at the thought. I'm the QUEEN of being picky with what I eat... and "trying something different/new" always equates to "yuck" for me. BUT... I'm daddy's little girl so I obliged and attempted to order dinner last night from Papa John's. Oh wait, I did say attempted right?! Yes, attempted. Because I was online viewing their website (Hawaii site) since I've never ordered from them before. Yes, I've tried it (at pot lucks/partys)... but I've never ordered from them because, like I said, I like Pizza Hut! So I'm on the website and I see that they have a special of 2 large 2 topping pizzas for $25.99. (keep in mind I can get this deal at Pizza Hut for $19.99) Anyyywwaaayyy... I follow the interactive ordering guide and put in everything needed for dinner... and then I come to enter the promo code which is listed at the bottom of the coupon. It says "invalid code, please enter again". Tried again. Nope. Didn't work. Closed the screen, restarted my laptop, ordered yet AGAIN, and still it didn't work. Called up Papa John's to order over the phone, but they won't take an order over the phone with the coupon because "it's not registered in our computers". So I have to order online. And online won't let me. And they won't honor the coupon. Headache much?? LOL. So after getting super frustrated... I called back to just order the pizzas over the phone, because if I kept the online order, my total would've been $74 and some change. I SHIT YOU NOT. $74 for TWO large pizzas, an order of wings, a few extra pepperoncinis, and couple garlic dipping sauces. HELL NO!!! So I called and they had a "OVER THE PHONE SPECIAL" (gay!) for two large ONE topping pizzas plus a 2 liter soda for $28.99. I ended up getting that and adding on an extra topping to each pizza, plus the wings, pepperoncinis, and extra garlic sauces. My new total? $48. Both pizzas were pepperoni/mushroom but Daddy wanted original crust and we got thin crust. The order was ready when we arrived and the female cashier was super nice and sweet. Got home... the chicken SUCKED. Even my Mom (who is Thai and will usually have 2 chicken wings and a bite of pizza) said it sucked. She said it tasted like they boiled the wings and then tossed it into the sauce... it wasn't crispy and it didn't taste good. The BF and I agreed. Daddy said the pizza didn't "look" like it would taste good, but it tasted okay. He said it wasn't "heavy" but that it didn't have enough toppings on it. I agreed, not enough toppings. When you use the interactive ordering online, it shows A LOT of pepperoni and mushrooms on the pizza, but it sure doesn't look like that when you get it. He said it was an okay pizza and a change from Pizza Hut. Our pizza... meh. Literally, I've experienced WAAAAY better. Not enough toppings, cheese was "string cheesy" and I think store bought pizza has more depth and flavor than this pizza. Definitely unimpressed. And unimpressed with the price that I had to pay for this pizza with "better ingredients" (or lack thereof) and "better pizza" (not better than store bought pizza). The ONLY positive I will say... is that the sauce is really good. I think Pizza Hut has good sauce also but Papa John's is equally matched with pizza sauce. Oh yes, and of course the garlic dipping sauce is good too. BUT, did you know that Pizza Hut has a garlic dipping sauce that's just as good as Papa John's?? And Papa John's charges $0.75 for a SMALL cup while Pizza Hut charges $0.50 for a LARGE cup. SMH... RIP OFF!!! I get that the economy is bad and prices are high but DAMN! Needless to say... NEVER AGAIN Papa John's. Thank you for mediocre, overpriced pizza without enough toppings (and without gooey stringy yummy cheese). No wonder everyone orders Pizza Hut!!!
