We love there gluten free pizza. Spinach salad is Hugh. Great view. No live music. They deliver locally in Kihei area

Fun outdoor bar/restaurant. Saw a ton of golfers eating/drinking post playing...as its right off the green. Great decor. Didn't love the eats. Fries were soggy and flavorless. Didn't care much for the Calamari or Burger either. Also the restaurant wasn't cheap (the food, not the beer). Service was fine. Moved at Hawaiian speed. I will admit - We didn't get the pizza and maybe we should have. But, overall, not worth a return visit.

Let me start off by first saying the food was 5-stars! I sadly give this place 2-stars for the service. Everyone was great, besides our server. If you have an option, DO NOT sit in Dana's section, unless you are with an all-guys group. She will not pay attention to you, make eye-contact or any genuine conversation besides making fun of how young you are on your I.D. Do let me say that the host and food runners were fantastic, without them this would have been a terrible dinner. With them, we had timely food and drink service with a nice sunset view, but they definitely did all the work for Dana. Perhaps this was an off-day for our server, I sure hope so, but I won't be back to chance it.

Updated and upgraded to five stars. The shrimp scampi is delicious AND the pizza when delivered comes really hot with the crust just right ( not soggy)

I love having happy hour up on the hill in Waliea. The lush green golf courses, refreshing breezes and distant ocean views create a fun spot for drinks and pupus. Monkey-Pod and their craft cocktails had been my go-to, but Manoli's tasty food and prices are starting to win me over. Maui Brew Co. on tap, decent Mai Tai's that packed a punch, slices of tasty pizza and garlic-truffle-fries. YES this is a pleasant place to relax and have Happy Hour. Having two Happy Hours is the hip new thing in Kihei ..... Manoli's is on board!

Bomb food! Had wine, meatballs, pizza and salad. Recommend it all! Don't be scared off by the fact it's on a golf course! Fab little spot to grub. Make sure you get your girl a Holy Manoli desert! They love it!

Best meal we had on Maui! Could not be happier. Great ambience, loved the music from the 80s, impeccable service, great view. Can't wait to come back! Might be tomorrow. Dinner tonight was the spaghetti with pesto and shrimp scampi. Phenomenal flavors! This place just has a great vibe. You won't be unhappy!

We had a great dinner here. Make sure to try the meatballs! They are amazing! We also shared a Caesar salad and the all meat pizza. Everything was great! Service was quick and friendly and prices were very reasonable. It was only a short walk from our hotel which was nice too. If we lived here, we'd be regulars!

Saturday night at 730. Place isn't even half full. Got our pizza. Was already finished my water at that time. No refill and no check up to see if they could bring us anything else or how the food was. Pretty sure we could have left this place and nobody would have noticed.

Great pizza and staff. Gluten free options too. Nice escape from the big resorts. Came here 3 times over 7 days

  • Chad W.

We came here for lunch. Not sure if their dinner menu is larger. The lunch menu only had 5 or so pizza options but sandwiches salads appetizers also. We got the spring salad and personal trainer pizza. Tried something different with a healthy option but it was awesome. Seating was all outside but it's Maui so it was nice. I would go back for sure.

This review is based on value. Just received our pizza, delivered, for a total of $26.04 before tip. The pizza was supposed to be 14". Our pizza was no more than 10". I understand and expect to pay a bit more while in Maui but I don't appreciate it when I feel like I got ripped off. Had the pizza been amazing in taste, I wouldn't write this review. It's mediocre at best. The pizza delivered to a couple next to us at the Grand Wailea pool from an onsite restaurant looked much more appealing. Wish we would've gone that route. We shouldn't still be hungry after eating a $26 pizza. I don't recommend this place.

Solid pizza across from the resort (Grand Wailea) we were staying at. Had a family dinner here of 30+ people. They were a well oiled machine, bringing out apps, then salads, then pizzas and finally desserts. For the apps we had the pizza bread, chicken wings, hummus and meatballs. The chicken wings were really good. Not sure what they did to them but they had a smokey taste which was great. Also had 3 salads, a Caesar, a greek and a spinach one, all good. Our group was split into 4 tables and each table was delivered 5 pizzas, a margherita, a pepperoni, a 3 meat one, a weird veggie one and a cheese pizza. Good fire baked crust, tasty sauce and toppings. Would happily return if in Maui again. Way more affordable than the Grand W.

Great food, excellent service! Kudos to General Manager Lisa and our server, the wonderful Shay. Loved the shrimp pesto pizza, the chicken piccata, and the chicken Parmesan. Holy manoli dessert was holy manoli!! When in Wailea, this is the place to go. Ask for the shaken Piña Colada, not the blended.

  • Elizabeth K.

Good pizza and dessert, A must go. You can even customize your pizza toppings. Good for parties. The pizzas are huge. I ordered a pizza with 5 different vegi toppings. Next time I will order a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie ice cream sundae.

  • Alex C.

The location is low key yet easily accessible from any of the Wailea hotels or condos. The value is in the location and convenience, NOT on the food. I had the chicken parm sandwich (whether you have in Chicago or Miami, you know what to expect) and I must say that I was a bit disappointed when it was brought by Gianna. It looked different than I expected. However, the taste was good and it was the perfect size. Overall, I give it 4 stars based on the ambiance and Gianna's service - the food on its own would have deserved a lower rating. Great beers too.

Came here with my family for a late night dinner and it was amazing. Awesome appetizers, amazing pizza, good scenery, and old rap music that was sweet. All around 5 stars.

So after a long time of searching for a good place and going in and out of restaurants because we were not being waited on we stopped in at Manolis! Very nice entrance and a cool spot. You get a nice view(being a local, Maui is still beautiful to me!) from probably any table, but we sat by the rails(receipt says table 22). Indoor outdoor type spot! We got there at 11:15 which is before they opened and the bartender still welcomed us in. Our server Ashleyy immediately came to wait on us and got our drinks; nothing major just Coke & a water. Then we ordered the Stromboli($12) as an appetizer. It was so delicious(my favorite out of the whole meal). I really loved the dough! And it was pretty fulfilling for me, but I still wanted to try their Chicken Parmesan Sub($13)- looked like a small portion, but still filled me up. Too bad the cheese wasn't melted on, but still liked it. It came with a side salad which tasted like it had a hint of cinnamon... Different, but still really good! My husband had the Meatball Sub($13). He said it was good, nothing great though. Our total came out to $42.71 for 2 subs, 1 appetizer & 1 Coke(free refills) which was not bad. We will be back to try some new items off the menu.

Walked over from Grand Wailea, party of 12. Service was good, pizza was good, salads were excellent. Views of the Wailea Blue Golf course. Good place to relax, friendly, casual atmosphere. Prices standard for the proximity to resorts.

  • Tamara K.

I rarely write a bad review but this warrants it! We ordered two pizzas - pesto shrimp and meat lovers pizza. Both pizzas were under cooked and had no flavor to them. No one came by to ask how our pizza was. If they did we would have sent it back for more cooking time. We feed the remaining pizza to the ferrel cats below on the golf course. Service was horrible- took 15 minutes for someone to come to table to take order. Server was frazzled and not paying attention to order. Brought the wrong drinks to the table. I am still waiting for my ice tea as I write this. I had to get up and walk to the bar to ask for water. Overall do not go here. Poor food and poor service.

Ate here for dinner tonight, and it was just ok. Friendly staff. The hummus appetizer was pretty good. The pizza we had was on "thin" crust but was more like a cracker, so crisp that my mouth is now cut up. All in all, what we had was just ok. Not a place that will be a new favorite.

    (3)
  • Sarah B.

Great service by Talya. Beautiful sunset view (partly obstructed by resort across the street, but very pretty nonetheless). Nice open air atmosphere. Excellent pizza with thin crispy crust. Two of us shared a pizza - eight slices. They let you split your pizza into two "flavors," which is nice. We also shared a spinach salad, which was very good made up from local greens and goat cheese. Two soft drinks and tip came out to $40. I have been told that the deserts are excellent but we did not try them this visit.

Been a few years since been here. Used to be amazing pizza but not the case this time. Seems maybe new ownership, changed up the menu. Unimpressed with the pizzas and salad. The view and beer was great.

    (2)
  • Paul F.

Great food (Pasta and Meatballs, Calamari, Cheese Pizza), beautiful views of the sunset, and great music in the background. Prices were great, especially for Wailea!

  • Ty R.

I'm usually here for the late night happy hour (9pm onward kids) which is always good. The pizza and food isn't the best but the atmosphere is relaxed and the value is great. This is the place I go to lay low and Enjoy some late food and a beer. If you want noise and excitement go to Monkeypod. Otherwise give Manolis a shot. It's a late great place to be chill.

    (4)
  • Steve E.

This place was pretty good. Wife and I got teh Calamari as an app and the Medeteranian Pizza for dinner. The pizza was enough for us to split, it had tons of flavor, and was not too crazy expensive for Maui. Go in the evening so you can sit on the patio and enjoy the sunset. We also tried Fabiani's before going here, and I liked Manoli's pizza much better.

So this review is based only on happy hour, we specifically went. Every night this is offered btwn 9p-Mid and also 3p-6p. Caesar salad was great, cheesy bread was just ok and so was the sauce that came with it. Tasted like Ragu out of a jar. Pizza was ON POINT, pepperoni slices for $2.50/margerita $2. Also, had a meatball slider- that was tasty. Melty cheese, hot bun and a good meatball. Im a meatball snob, trust me. Alcohol was on special too. $5 well drinks, margarita, mai tai was $6. Bud Light for $3. Cool vibe too, outdoor patio scene. Decent music playing- have to sit in bar area for happy hour. This is a great option is you're staying in south maui and/or the wailea resort area and not looking to spend tons of money but get some good quality food. Walking distance from Grand Wailea and Wailea Beach Villas.

Ordered spaghetti & meatballs which were absolutely flavorful and had a great texture! Superscrumptious until I found a hair baked into my meatball... They were kind to fix the problem quickly. Bad experience but I will try them again

DO NOT GO! I am having trouble understanding who the people are that think this food is good. Hands down the worst pizza I've ever eaten. Ordered a plain pizza to go with my husband while we were staying at a hotel nearby & neither of us could stomach to take more than a few bites.

    (1)
  • Tootsie P.

The staff is extremely friendly as well as the patrons. We dined in a couple times bc the food was pretty good! Being from NYC and a complete pizza lover, I was shocked how much I liked their food! It was really good! The best part is that they have reallllly thin and crunchy crust which is really important to me! Definitely try their shrimp and pesto....you wont be disappointed!

    (4)
  • Lisa A.

Hands down the most unforgettable chicken piccata on the planet. Solid thin crust pizza too. Price is right. Highly recommend, especially for Maui. We are from SF with high standards for eats and value.

  • Kelly S.

The first time I ate here, the shrimp pesto pizza was to die for, so I couldn't wait to go back, but the second time, was seriously a no-go. I honestly think there was an ingredient missing from the pizza crust. It was totally flat and tasteless. A little cardboardish! However, the calamari was delicious, so we ordered a 2nd serving of it. The meatball sliders were only okay. I was disappointed because my first experience was so awesome, I couldn't wait to share it with my family, but I'm not sure I'll be able to convince my husband to go back. He was not impressed. I will go back, hoping to have a repeat of my 1st experience, not my second. I love the location, and the drinks were great. Hope they figure out what they forgot to put in the crust last time. Wouldn't want to experience that again!

  • Don P.

We walked here from the Wailea Marriott. Sat outside on the deck. Meatball appetizer with garlic bread was excellent. We had a pepperoni pizza which was very good. The only thing that keep this place from being 5 stars was the lengthy wait (20+ min) for the pizza.

    (4)
  • JD H.

A solid lunch spot that was deserted on a Monday. Open air seating with prompt and pleasant service and a front of house hostess that was genuinely happy to have us there. Within walking distance of the Wailea resorts and shops, it overlooks a tee box and fairway and is a welcome respite from all of the other restaurants around the area that are mostly high-end and/or resort owned. The food was decent. Nothing over the top but tasty and comforting with a couple of pizzas that sounded like they shouldn't be good but actually worked quite well (The Personal Trainer pizza). When you need a break from the Pacific Rim fusion cuisine that dominates the area, Manoli's is a welcome find without a plate lunch, any raw fish, or any rice to be found!

    (3)
  • Juergen R.

Great pizza just be aware that they charge a delivery fee (usd 5) and according to the driver tip is not part of the delivery fee so the customary tip of course is due ... This delivery fee was not disclosed when I ordered or did I see it on there web page

We have eaten here every time we visit Maui since they took over from the previous restaurant. Usually decent. Must have hit a wrong night. 3/4 meals were good. 1 (chicken piccata) was served stone cold. Now I'm a mom and I'm used to having to eat my food cold but not if I'm not at home! Now had the server ever once come by to ask how things were I would have told him instead of yelp. However he did not and now here I am. Coming back to Maui soon and sadly this is now on my don't bother list.

After a 12 hour day hopping from airport to airport the family and I finally Made it to Maui ! We stopped by for dinner , the pizza and service was amazing , our server treated us like she had known us for years !!

Our party of 6 had an excellent evening here last night....from the drinks, to the service and food! I loved the new Chef Geno's homemade lasagna with sautéed zucchini, spinach, and Maui onion, homemade meat sauce, ricotta, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese served with fresh baked garlic bread. The portion was huge! I could only eat half of it and took the rest home. My Cesar Salad was very tasty with crisp romaine lettuce and their homemade dressing. Service was excellent. Thank you Lisa for making our evening an enjoyable one!

I am so sad to report that we won't be back. Out waiter (Michael or Matthew, sorry I can't remember) was really sweet and did the best he could with our group of 20. We had zero issues with him. Unfortunately, the hostess needs to be mentioned for being down right awful. She didn't want to take a picture of our group and let me know it (she was in the middle of pushing two tables together for a party 1/2 our size). This was after I asked another server (not ours) the same favor and he wouldn't--just walked away. Never have we felt so unwelcome. Trust me, it wasn't chaotic and both people had time. The lettuce was old and starting to turn. The lasagne recipe had changed since August and was terrible. The pizza was mediocre. The meatballs weren't fresh. Just bad. All around a terrible experience. Sorry Matthew or Michael--you were great!!!! Thank you for being the only highlight in the place.

Casual dining, reasonable priced, in what looks like a former golf course club house. We shared a meatball appetizer. My bride got the chicken gnocchi, I got the Caesar salad. Delicious. Pizza a speciality, but we passed on that. Friendly attentive staff. Good alternate to the fancy-schmancy eating establishments in Walea.

I'd go 10 miles just for the Cobb salad. Awesome place. The pizza is excellent. All fresh veggies and the servers are very amiable and professional. Also, don't be surprised if Aaron the owner stops by your table to make sure everything is okay. Manoli's is a great place to take the family, to stop by the cool bar with a special friend, or to hang with buddies to enjoy quality food and refreshing libations at the end of a long day at the beach!

  • Jason L.

We recently had our rehearsal dinner at Manolis and we can't say enough about the food and service they provided. We had a destination wedding down the road at the Andaz and had all 50 guests for dinner the night before at Manolis. Lisa helped us plan our event and made sure the night went perfectly and her staff was amazing to us. And the food was awesome (especially the Stromboli and pizza)!! Thank you Lisa. We highly recommend Manolis!!

  • Kathy L.

We ate lunch here at the bar. The Long Island Ice Tea was great! The burger was the best in the area! Had the truffle fries and chicken wings as appetizers and they were good too. Didn't have the pizza but based on the burgers and fries I bet they are good too!

  • Daniel O.

We were excited to read that this place delivered to our hotel. They estimated a 45 minute delivery time that actually was 90 minutes and the pizza was lukewarm when it got here. We also ordered a salad and they did not provide any silverware nor napkins. The pizza was OK and probably would've tasted better if it was hot. We wouldn't have minded the longer delivery time if they would have told us it was going to take that long or if at least the pizza would still have been warm when it showed up. I should mention the restaurant is less than five minutes away from the hotel.

  • Amanda H.

This place has mediocre cold pizza.. Very small size pizzas for a large price. I prefer quality over quantity but this place had neither. We are on Hawaii so i had expected more if the toppings on the Hawaiian style pizza. On the positive note they do delivered..however the convertible left the pizza cold...

Excellent place. Found it on out last night. Wish we would have found it sooner would have come back. Excellent Stromboli and chicken parm. Great prices for the area too. Excellent service.

  • Laura V.

Great pizza! Fun atmosphere to chill out and tell stories after a long day surfing or diving or whatever! Price was fair for what you get, and views are nice. The building is under major construction, so getting into it is a bit tricky. Otherwise, great experience!

Picked up 2 large pizzas 46$, added a six pack of coke went up to 61$. Seriously 18$ for a pack of coke??!!!!! I hope the pizza is good or I will be upset. I think Ruth's Chris steak house is cheaper then this pizza parlor.

We should have yelped this great bar / restaurant months ago praising the food and phenomenal staff. My wife and I take advantage of the great "Happy Hour". The open atmosphere of the bar and restaurant is so relaxing If you have the opportunity to sit at the bar (as we do) you will probably have spectacular servers like MARY and meet excellent managers like Lisa. Heads up..... Mary (bartender) is one of the most attentive, friendly and personable persons we have met on the Island. She is a 10 out of 10 and one of the "best" you will ever meet. -joe and claire

Great vegan pizza option. The pizza was really good with an excellent, home made, crunchy crust. We went there twice, one night for dinner and then before we went to the airport. Good atmosphere there too with a nice view and friendly service.

After paying too much for everything as Maui tourists, Manoli's was a breath of fresh air. Great location on a hill overlooking a beautiful view. Nice open-air atmosphere. Good pizza and pasta. Great prices. Casual atmosphere, good for couples and families. If you go, be sure to order the Holy Manoli desert. A huge chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, caramel and topped with Oreo cookie crumbles. One order was enough four our table of four adults and two kids. Only $8!

  • David H.

Ate here when they were a different restaurant (Matteo's) and remember it being better. Pizza was nothing to write home about, was nice they would mix styles 1/2 and 1/2. Garlic cheese bread was much better than the pizza. Not sure I'll try them again.

    (2)
  • Shaun M.

Staff was great. Trish our bartender was exceptional, happy hour $2 meatball sandwiches are top shelf, the works. But this sunset sunshine is unacceptable! To think they would let the sun shine THAT bright while I'm trying to eat.. Inexcusable! And the low level of puppies is disheartening. I did however meat a vegetarian dog that was quite the approachable pooch. For that I gave them four stars..

  • Judy L.

Best pizza in Wailea! Shout out to our bartender, Mary, for the fast service and awesome taste in music! Great place to hang out. Happy hour beers are only $3! We had a couple of Longboard beers and a Hawaiian pizza. They were awesome about substituting chicken in place of the ham and the pizza was really excellent. Fresh ingredients, light and crispy. Love the pineapple and Maui onion. Really delicious. Great open concept bar/restaurant space. Nice view and breeze! Great place to spend an afternoon or evening with friends! They have an afternoon and night happy hour...two happy hours each day. Really close to Hotel Wailea, Grand Wailea and the other resorts. Across the street from Shops of Wailea. Manoli's delivers too.

Beautiful view, seemed promising. Hugely disappointed. Service was good and attentive but a few issues: special sounded great but one came out cold for one in our party. They gladly made a new one so that was good. Pizza was ok and calamari portion was small. Unfortunately, 4 out of 6 of us became ill after dinner. When I called and spoke to Lisa to tell her what happened she was less than empathetic. Not one apology. Only defensively telling me they used only the freshest ingredients and temp controlled everything so couldn't imagine how that could happen. She asked me for my number and would call me after she talked to her chef - she never called me. Don't go there is my recommendation.

  • Lani P.

First time going there for dinner last night and accidentally went straight through to the bar entrance, but a friendly waitress pointed us to the right direction to get a table. We got an awesome table in a corner with a beautiful view. We ordered the Shrimp appetizer (sorry don't remember the full name of the appetizer but it was the first item on the list) and the Pepperoni Pizza. Both tasted very delicious. I would go there again. =)

  • Ed C.

Great ambiance and courteous staff. The price is right for a family on a budget that doesn't want to pay $50 a plate. The salads were large enough for two to share with a pizza. The food was pretty good as I like thin crust pizza.

    (4)
  • Mike M.

Great pizza.. great views.. they had a special Smoked Mushroom Salad on the menu tonight, it was great! Fed the whole family for what one meal would have cost at the Grand Wailea.

    (4)
  • Mikala L.

The Personal Trainer and Placks Salad family style were excellent. To finish it off with a Holy Manoli - order 2 - is my kids favorite. They said it was the best "pizookie" ala mode ever!! Order it when u order ur entree. Service was excellent, esp if owner, Aaron is present. He genuinely cares and ensures that you have a wonderful experience.

  • Angie G.

I highly recommend this yummy pizza place! They make everything fresh with local ingredients and the pizza is super delicious!! I haven't tried anything else, but if it's anything like the pizza, I have no doubt that it is incredible! This place is a must try! It's a little pricey, but totally worth it!

  • Hipolito G.

I came here for pizza but my wife noticed they have sandwiches at lunch time and I decided to try the chiken parmesan and I am very glad I did. It was delicious. My wife ate the chiken club and she liked it very much as well.

Not quite sure why there are so many bad reviews. We sat at the bar for dinner. Bartender was very friendly. My Mediterranean pizza and spinach salad were great. My boyfriend had the hawaiian pizza and he liked it. We live here and have had Shaka pizza, Pizza Madness, Fabianis etc and I thought this pizza was far better ( I also like thin crust). Honestly if you want top notch pizza or Mexican food, you won't find it in Hawaii. But both my boyfriend and my meals were great and we will definitely be back! Plus there is a nice view.

  • Alexa B.

This pizza is amazing. We came here twice on our vacation & our server was awesome. I love the pepperoni pizza, but the meatball pizza (it had a name but I'm blanking...) was great too! Beautiful view of the sunset too.

  • Deee N.

Such a good option for a mellow dinner! Sometimes you just don't want any more seafood and this place has the answer with thin crust pizza and pasta options. Manolis has a great atmosphere with all outdoor seating. The staff is always cheerful (I've been here 3 times in my last 2 visits to Maui). Ingredients are always fresh and organic, you can't go wrong. They even have gluten free options.

  • Jay G.

I have only sat at the bar so I can not speak for the service in the dinning area. Bartenders always friendly and approachable. The menu is small but adequate. The location is great. Pricing will not break your pockets either.

Unfortunately, this is my first time reviewing a restaurant on Yelp and it is not good. We went for happy hour and the pizza slices looked so good, we ordered one to take back to our condo. It was awful- the pizza crust was so dry we would have to soak it even to feed to birds and the skimpy use of ingredients left me wondering how this pizza came out of the same kitchen as the ones I saw at happy hour. I called to talk to the manager - not for a refund, but just so they would know and was told the manager was not available. They asked for my phone number, but I was not contacted.

We really enjoyed their pizza. We came here after a busy day of snorkeling at several beaches plus hiking. We didn't want anything fancy and we didn't want to cook at our condo either. Manolis was perfect. You can watch the sunset over the ocean without having to be right on the water. We had delicious cocktails. We were a party of 5 and everyone ordered different drinks- all of us were happy. Some people were dressed up in nicer clothes and others looked like they came straight from the beach. Open air dining. Ty was our server and he was very nice. He gave great recommendations and was casual yet friendly, helpful, and attentive. We had Ceasar and house salads to start and then had the shrimp pesto and sausage mushroom pizzas. Delicious. 5 adults shared 2 pizzas. We could have ordered more pizzas but we wanted to get the flavors without getting stuffed. Basically if everyone is going to want more than 2-3 pieces, then order more pizza because it is easy to eat! Crust is thin and not filling at all. We would definite order pizza from here again.

  • Lisa T.

Fresh yummy food. Meatballs and sauce were incredibly yummy. Enjoyed the spinach salad, the dressing really made it. Both were great to start. Pizza was great too. Service was exceptional because Dana was really attentive and helpful. Plus nice deal for kids 7 and under all they can eat cheese pizza or spaghetti with drink and dessert for their age plus. 99 cents.

Horrible experience. I do not recommend coming here, especially if you respect your time. We had a reservation around 7, and ended up having to wait 30 minutes just to be seated. What is the point of a reservation if you're still going to have to wait that long? I would understand if it were because there were no open tables, but there were plenty, and they ended up seating another large party that walked in without a reservation before us. From the way they were interacting, it looked like the hostess knew them, so they were getting preferential treatment. We sat down and gave our drink order. It took about 5 minutes to get from the table to the bar and back, but he forgot my beer, and then it took about 10 minutes before he was able to bring it to me. We ordered right away, and then it took ONE HOUR AND 15 MINUTES to get our three pizzas. That is totally unacceptable. To top it all off, the pizza wasn't even that good. They really skimped on the cheese, and the toppings weren't evenly distributed on the slices. AVOID.

We stopped here after not being super hungry and wanted something laid back. Had a salad to start which was fine and then a pizza. Thin crust and crispy which was good and cooked well. Not great and not bad either - if you are looking for something quick and relatively inexpensive this is a good stop

We were recently visiting Maui and decided that we liked the look of the location and the reviews seemed decent. The only really nice part of the evening was the welcome from the lady who checked our reservation and who seated us. From there it went down hill quickly. Our waiter (a gentlemen who's name I can't recall), and it's no wonder I can't recall as his interactions with us were drive by at best. He flew in to drop of water, then flew away. Again it was a hit and run to take the order, no welcome, no "would you like a hand with the menu" or "would you like to hear the specials". My wife and I weren't particul hungry (which turned out to be a blessing) so only ordered a entree each. Once the waiter heard that his service dropped even further, as I can only imagine we weren't worth his time. The table of 8 next to us seemed to be though, as he continued to swan around them and be extremely polite and helpful, all the while we sat there being ignored. Even when my wife wanted another drink we could get his attention to order. The food arrived but was very ordinary. My spagetti bolignaise was OK, not much flavour, I'm not picky about these kind of things but I do get annoyed when you pay that price and you feel you could get the same from a jar - not bad just meh! My wife ordered the creamy chicken pasta, again we arnt very picky, but it was dry, pasta was in clumps and the cheese which had already cooked was congealed on the top. My wife was wanting to ask if she could get a fresher serving, if only we could see/attract out waiters attention. After waiting 10 minutes she gave up, ate a little and left the rest. When he did finally drive by again to collect our plates, he asked my wife if she wanted a take away as there was a lot left on her plate, she responded by saying that the reason she ate so little was because it was dry and not great. His response was a shrug of the shoulders an "ok" before turning away. So in conclusion, we might have just got a waiter on a bad day, but we felt because we weren't ordering big meals that we weren't worth his time or effort. The meals were ordinary at best, definatly not worth the prices they charge. Although limited options in wailea, We had great meals at monkeypod and Tommy Bahamas for the same or less $$$.

Very good pizza place. The setting is beautiful and the pizza is quite good for outside of NY. My family went twice in an 8 day visit to Maui due in no small part to the best dessert we have ever had -- the Holy Manoli. Fresh baked chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. Absolutely incredible. The service is great also--great staff!

Over priced, terrible beer selection. Pizza was okay, nothing to write home about. Best thing about this place was the cute, furry dinner guests hanging around the golf course.

Great setting on the patio for an evening dinner with friends. It's a little too sunny about 45 minutes before sunset, but that's OK. They make an outstanding Captain Morgan & diet, so congrats and good job to the bartender. The pizza was OK. It's not fine dining, but good drinks and decent inexpensive pizza in Wailea is awesome and they have a nice back deck like atmosphere. If it were a college basketball team, it'd be that local mid major that makes the tourney every year, but never advances past the first weekend.

Interesting how the reviews are all over the map... My husband wasn't too enthused about going here, but one night he suggested we go wherever I wanted to go, and I chose Manoli's. I was a little concerned, but I figured if the food was just adequate I was okay with that, since it was close to our condo and had an outdoor patio. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. We were there at 6pm on a Thursday, no reservations, and got a table at the railing with a nice view of the golf course and then when sunset came we enjoyed that as well. The Plack's salad was quite tasty and our Personal Trainer's Choice pizza was pretty good too, flatbread style, which we prefer over the doughy, thick crust type. It was soggy on the inside so we started at the crust and worked our way inside. Server Shay was nice and pretty responsive. Overall a good experience!

We came here because we had a member of out group looking for Gluten Free alternatives. Glad we found it. Any pizza is available on gluten free crust. The house salad was good. Enough for 2 to share and a long list of add-ons. You can add on to anything on the menu! What a great idea!!!! The Hawaiian pizza was good, It is a thin crust, and that is not my favorite, not that I am a pizza aficionado. My friends had the alfredo and said it was great. Our wait person was a little off....just not quite attentive enough. The wait staff was really good tho, and the hostess was also.

Nice ambience and nice server. Other than that I would avoid this place. The food was just above edible. This establishment makes a halfhearted attempt at serving healthy food (organic/wheat crust & garlic bread/gluten free). The result food that tastes bland at best.

So I was at Maui for work for two weeks and Manoli's was walking distance from my hotel which basically made it my daily spot grabbing a quick bite. It used to be a different restaurant but they redid the place and it is a great, relaxed spot for visitors and locals alike. Between 6:30 and 8:30pm the place can get pretty packed so I would recommend making reservations. It's pretty easy to make reservations too (even the day of). The staff are super nice. I called about a million times to change the time and size of my reservation and everytime they were so accommodating and joked with me as I constantly changed from being a pick-up order to eating in from having a party of 7 to a party of 8 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm reservation. And when they finally met our indecisive party they were just as nice in person. The view doesn't get much better. It overlooks the ocean and it's a perfect place to check out the sunset. Our table split various pizzas and salads. My favorites of the night were traditional greek salad (amazeballs) and the personal trainer's choice which is made up of roasted chicken, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, kale, avocado and goat cheese. Lastly, you CAN NOT leave without ordering the Banana Cream Pie. I am not even a huge fan of bananas but the gluten free crust on this thing was just perfect. I hate to admit it but my friends and I went back and had this dessert three times. I won't tell if you don't!

Not good. The new management have done a good job at renovating from the previous owners (Mateo's from 2012), so our hopes were relatively high. However, the service was poor and unfriendly, our table was grubby and sticky and the pizza tasted liked I cooked it from frozen. We had a salad too, spinach with goats cheese, cranberry and almond.... it arrived in a cereal bowl without the cranberry nor cheese. Laughable. We didn't even stay for the free dessert and opted for Laperts in the mall. Shame. A much better option is Tommy Bahamas, even though it's a few more $

We dropped in to grab a quick round of drinks. Open air, raised patio, nice view. Unlike a lot of places in Wailea, we felt comfortable in there after being at the beach all day and not having time to switch into evening wear. Quick, friendly, attentive, hot bartender chick! All of the chairs have a placard on the back; read what your chair says about you! We did not eat here.

Come here if you want quantity not quality. Good for kids who want pizza or pasta. Heads up to adults, don't expect much for customer service or quality. Equivalent to Olive Garden. I am actually disgusted and the service was terrible.

This was our 2nd visit to Manoli's in the last two years. Both times it sucked! Why do I keep torturing my family? Oh, yeah, it's walking distance from where we stay when we are in Maui. From now on I'll drive to another pizza place or wait until I get back to the main land. The pizza is way over priced for what you get. What do you get? A soggy cardboard pizza with 5 pepperoni on the Biggies all meat pizza. What happened to the meat? Go to Pizza Hut or Little Caesar's before venturing in here!

  • Sarah B.

The gluten free pizza was really good!!! A bit pricey, but I kind of expected that. Will definitely look this up again if I am ever on Maui again!

Went in here our first night in Wailea....purchased the lasagne and couldn't even eat 3 bites. It was just a blob on my plate and basically was an onion hidden by a little pasta cheese and sauce. Absolutely horrible. The server acted like she couldn't wait to get out of there ... Just terrible. I look over every time I drive into the entrance to Ekolu and am reminded how bad that place is.

  • Jahnna P.

I'm not understanding all the negative reviews for this place. This is definitely not New York or Chicago Style pizza, but it was good. And, I don't think this place was insanely over priced. I will say that I wish the pizza had a little more sauce (we had the Biggie pizza), but it was still good. Also, their tiramisu is delicious!

We've spent the last several trips to Maui, Hawaii in Wailea and was sad to see that Matteo's ( yelp.com/biz/matteos-piz… ) had closed its doors. In its place we found Manoli's, an upscale pizza restaurant with a full bar, just up the hill from the Shops at Grand Wailea, and in walking distance from several of the hotels and condos along the beach. We were greeted by a helpful, friendly staff for our first night back on Maui, looking for pizza take out for the family. Past experience tells us you'll find it most crowded at dinner time, but we saw the front house staff seat people quickly when we arrived around 8PM. The menu offers samples of appetizers, salads, pizza and a few pasta dishes. We were pleased to see that Manoli's offered 14" organic wheat and smaller gluten free crusts with their own home made sauce. The selections of menu pizzas was nice, and we selected a half and half 14" with house salad to take out. We waited for 15-20 minutes in the new bar area, where the bartender provided great service and suggested a good cocktail to enjoy while we waited for our order. We saw many of the tables occupied and what appeared to be many happy patrons enjoying their food in the open air, covered dining area. Our food arrived, and we headed home. Once their we enjoyed our pizza, topped with a limited number local ingredients and overall quite tasty - complete with sweet Maui onions on our pie. (Generally, we thought they could offer a little more on the toppings in terms of quantity, but again, generally quite tasty.) Next time we'll try other selections with a greater number of ingredients to get a better idea of the fare. The house salad (with dressing on the side) was a nice selection of greens and flavourful, 'though a bit small for the price. As we found at Matteo's, the staff are very friendly, have great local suggestions on what to do and choose from their menu. Manoli's delivers, accepts reservations and has a happy hour from 3-6PM, and again from 9PM-Midnite. Many tables have a great view of the ocean and it's a good place to enjoy the sunset. Parking is ample, prices aren't too crazy, and we'll certainly be going back.

Terrible tasting pizza, the sauce is like tomato paste from a can, the prices are outrageous even for Wailea, the pepperoni is small and dry, the crust is chewy and tastes like cardboard, I have had better frozen pizza from the grocery store, the ingredients are overly pretentious as is the whole concept of this eatery, this place will self destruct on its present course, I do not see it lasting a year unless major changes are made very soon, most people will never come back a second time. Good pizza is too easy to find elsewhere for a reasonable price. Shaka pizza in kihei is a great alternative to this place. It's a shame because the location is great and I really wanted to like this place, the artisan approach is too much, no sense in trying to reinvent the wheel, pizza is far from complicated to make well, but this recipe is awful in every way.

Wow, harsh yelp reviews. My husband and I actually really dug this place. We ordered a large pizza that was half personal trainer's and half manoli's favorite, one healthy, one not so healthy. Both halfs were DELICIOUS! The filet mignon meatballs on the manoli's favorite was pure awesome and the personal trainer's was loaded with yummy veggies and healthy chicken. They made a great duo. The price is also right, this is south Maui (read: EXPENSIVE) and it was nice to have a cheaper meal one night. To be honest, the prices at Manoli's were pretty comparable to SF Bay Area. The setting is nice too, it's got an open air feel to it, and a pretty view of the sunset. My only complaint would be that they ran out of ice buckets for wine bottles, and wine glasses. To be fair, they had just opened a few days prior, but still.

I literally signed up for Yelp JUST to write a review about Manoli's pizza in Maui. Short version: You have GOT to be kidding me.Without a doubt this has to be the worst pizza I have ever eaten. Long version: We vacation in Maui every year, sometimes twice a year and have done so for fifteen years. It's not cheap here, but most of the time, you get what you pay for. EXCEPT in the case of Manoli's. The first thing we noticed is that there literally is nothing on the menu except pizza and two salads. SERIOUSLY. No appetizers, nothing. they don't bring you bread to munch on while you wait. Nada. They play up "local, organic ingredients" on the menu etc, which I believe is an attempt to distract you from the fact that it tastes like hot garbage. After our observation on the limited selection, we ordered four 12" pizzas because we were hungry. The pizzas came out REALLY fast, which leads me to believe the food wasn't exactly fresh. As for the taste? Nasty. The crust tasted like unseasoned paper. The sauce couldn't have been more than just plain tomato paste...and the toppings? I am not exactly sure that anything they brought out even remotely resembled what we ordered. (e.g. The Ham looked like Turkey, etc.) The bottom line: if you have the audacity to ONLY serve pizza and put nothing else on your menu, it better be good. REALLY GOOD. This was so bad, we took one bite of each pizza (my son spit his "ham/bacon/whatever" out), paid our $90 bill and left. We paid the bill becuase I felt like our waiter would need the money soon... And yes, you read that right...for four 12" pizzas and four diet cokes it was ninety bucks. I have no idea how to make a pizza, but I bet I could google it and make a better one in 60 minutes than the resident Manoli's expert. These guys will be out of business in 12 months without a MAJOR upgrade in menu and food quality. Wow.

Strawberry basil martini wasn't nearly as refreshing or strawberry-basil-y enough as I expected. The Greek salad was literally what was described in the menu--just the toppings--tomato, cucumber, olives, and feta. No lettuce. Pineapple coconut splash was ok but nothing to rave about. They sat us in the sun and we baked as the sun set. The personal trainer pizza my hubby got WAS worth it. Nice atmosphere. Wish we would've been told about the happy hour specials before we sat down in the dining area. We would have eaten at the bar to enjoy the specials. We had to ask what the happy hour sign was all about.

Stopped by after talking to couple at our pool. Sat at the rail overlooking the golf course. We were early, but place was filling up as we finished. Our son's spaghetti and drink came very quickly. They know how to take care of kids. Mai Tai - was rummy and fair, nothing special. Plank salad was fresh with very good flavors. Wanted it split (gave extra plate?, don't understand why kitchen cannot split) Spaghetti and meatballs fair, not bad but not ordering again. Hawaii pizza crust excellent, ham very good, onions under grilled, pineapple out of can? - grilled fresh when in Hawaii seemed expected. If I could I would give 4 for view, 4+ for service, 3 for menu (2 for ingredient selection). Overall equals a 3. Nice place to visit, but not quite hitting on all cylinders

Nice atmosphere and very diligent waitstaff. Pizza was delicious but the garlic bread, although tasty, the portions were small.... We made our reservation via Open Table and that work out well seeing as they were "over booked". Apparently, they had a private party the night before and the pent up demand was evident. Subsequently, the time it took from placing our order to receiving our food was a little longer than I would have preferred (but understandable). As I said earlier though, the service made up for the wait and the food made it all worthwhile.

The pizza is very good! Lots of choices and some unique pizzas (there is one with an egg on it!). The salads are fresh and they use all local ingredients. They have a great selection of wine and beer. Great views that has a family-friendly atmosphere and is budget-friendly as well!

Don't listen to those "bad service" reviews. We discovered Manoli's on our visit to Maui last week. We went there after learning they offered gluten-free pizza, a must for me. Our party of 7 arrived there for lunch about 1/2 hour before they opened. Not only did they let us in, they seated us and took our order. Service was GREAT! Our order actually arrived just before their stated opening time. Did I mention gluten-free pizza and beer? Never though I'd find that on Maui. They even mentioned their gluten-free pasta, which wasn't yet included on their new menu. The pizza was to die for, both the gluten-free and the "regular". We loved it. the Greek salad was amazing! We liked it so much, we came back for dinner 3 nights later. They remembered us from the previous visit, and even though they were much more crowded, the service was again excellent. I can't rave enough about this place. A real find!

Great service....Shay was a great server! The salads and pizza were very good and a nice break from the fancy overpriced dinners at the local restaurants. The local cats are cute too...my son got to feed and name one. ;) "Thomas", we will see you next visit!!

Nice outdoor seating, awesome pizzas! The crust is as thin as it should be. Greek salad is the closest thing to an actual greek salad I've ever had in the US. One other reviewer who complains the salad only had "the topping" and it lacks all the lettuce, has clearly never been to Greece. We didn't have any problems with the service, the place was half empty when we arrived (~6pm) so everything arrived promptly.

Horrible service. Make sure you have plenty of time. When we sat down the waiter told us that the pizza was running a little behind like 15-20 min. Actually it was an hour and 10 min. During that time no one offered to refill drinks or even water unless we grabbed someone. The Garlic bread we ordered as we sat down took 20 min to come out. The owner wanders the restaurant but never once came to our table and we were there 2 hours...FOR PIZZA! The food was OK but not worth the wait.

Very tasty pizza with fresh ingredients. We ordered half of The Hawaiian Honey Ham and Half Pepperoni. The Maui Onions on the Hawaiian Honey Ham added the perfect crunch and flavor. The only negative was the waiter seemed to want to go home and was a little unnerved when we asked for the advertised happy hour menu. No complaints on the meal and the service was fast but we were not asked if we wanted another glass of wine, dessert or anything else when he brought us the check. Overall I would still recommend this place as the pizza was very good.

Came for dinner, won't come back. We wanted to split a salad for appetizer, waiter told us they're too small, so we ordered 2. Guess what, joke was on us, the salads were *huge*. Neither one of us could finish it. Also got an appetizer, which was a waste (hummus--not all that). And we ordered a 12-in pizza, but got a 14in instead. Way overpriced for basically a pizza dive.

Four of us ate there tonight, 4 days before Christmas. Of course, it was jammed with people. Our waiter, Jeremiah, was really welcoming and attentive, even though they were crowded. We all liked our salads and pizzas. I got the personal trainer and a friend got the vegetarian. We all like both pizzas. Good flavors and tasty crust. I would definitely come back to this place again, and I was a regular at the former Mateo's.

I was staying at a nearby hotel when I passed this restaurant and thought that I would stop in and grab a menu. After looking it over, we decided to order the hummus appetizer and a pepperoni and meatball pizza. The food was delivered to our resort in under half an hour. The hummus and chips was just incredible...smooth and garlicky. The pizza tasted great! The sauce was perfectly seasoned and the homemade meatballs on the pizza really set it off. We were happy with the quality of this meal and the easy delivery to our hotel.

So I was wary of this place to begin with since they only have organic wheat or gluten free crust. Also, they only had one size pizza for each which is always a negative for me. But, I figured I would give it a shot. I was sorry I did. We ordered two things: garlic bread and a organic wheat pizza with half plain, half artichokes and mushrooms. The garlic bread was about an inch or so thick, the top was almost burned and the rest of it was stone cold. The marinara sauce was OK, but nothing to write home about. The pizza came and it was not correct, it was all mushrooms and artichokes so we had to send it back. When it finally did come, it was not very good. For one thing, the crust was extremely underdone to the point where my wife wondered if it was raw. There was also unmelted cheese on the top and the toppings didn't taste very good. Oh, and it took much longer than twice the amount of time for the right pizza to come out than it did for the wrong pizza. They obviously didn't fire one on the fly and just added our ticket to the last in line, which is a bunch of crap. I will say that the server admitted his mistake and did offer us a free desert which we declined. I would much rather be given a discount on the food, but I have given up on arguing or asking. I just don't go back.

I took a trip to Maui over the summer and we stayed at the Grand Wailea. I personally wanted to go to Flatbread Pizza this night, but my brothers didn't feel like driving to the other end of the island so we ended up going to Manoli's instead since it was close and convenient. The menu is pretty limited, just in general a few different pizzas and salads. We ordered a whole bunch of their margarita pizzas for the table and they were solid, although not the best pizza. I was pleased with the fact that it was wheat crust but tasted like white(Healthy alternative). Service was mediocre as well. Overall just a three-star pizza joint. You get what you see, a mediocre pizza.

We liked it! We thought the pizza was really good! Bummer to hear some of the bad reviews. We live right down the street and this was our second time going in. The first time I went in, I admit I was shocked that there were only pizza and salad on the menu....nothing else....what?? This second time we went, they have added 3 pasta dishes, we did not try any, as we were interested in the pizza and salad. We like the pizza and we like the salad, what can I say! It's Wailea pricing, yes, though I wish they could lower the prices at least by $1.50 on each pizza/salad.

    (4)
  • Sri J.

Very kid friendly. The pizza was very good. A little bit on the pricey side but relative to all the other options in Wailea - was a pretty good deal. Much better than Cheeseburger Island style or Longhi's. will definitely come back here.

Got there on Saturday 4:00 pm and two guys noticed us walking in. They did not greet us so we assumed they were busy and proceeded to look at the menu on the counter. We waited 10 more minutes and no one came over. We decided to leave and still nothing. Stay away unless you want to pay $26 for a small pizza and get ready to not be served. Guarantee this place will not last more than 1 year. You have been warned.

I gave two instead of one stars because I know their pizza can be better, but this most recent experience was very disappointing. I ordered my pizza for takeout. They were really nice, and when I came to pick up my pizza I noticed the box didn't seem super hot on the bottom like normal. I assumed maybe it was a thicker box and that's it, because it'd be weird if they didn't cook my pizza. When I got home (only 5 minutes away), I opened the pizza box and not only was the pizza lukewarm, but the cheese was only half melted as well. I've had their pizza as part of a free trial experience before and it was great, so I'll give them one more star than I would have due to this experience, but consistency is important, and a partially cold/not fully cooked pizza is definitely a surprise one doesn't expect to get when they order their pizza.

  • Carey O.

I was really disappointed. The previous restaurant at this location, Matteo's, was great family casual dining. This new place has pizza and 3 salads. That's it! The pizzas are way overpriced, barely any cheese, the crust tasted like cardboard. The plus was the Greek salad, very fresh and tasty. The service was decent, but sadly the food was really a letdown. Two small pizzas, one single salad, one soda and one glass of wine, was $83. Cannot recommend.

Great pizza, just missing that one vital ingredient flavor. Not the greatest service, but that was just because they recently expanded the dining area and there seemed to be a wedding party going on. My kids food came out after our salads and pizza.

Opening day. Pizza and salad only. Fresh ingredients and timely service. Maui is generally not inexpensive, but $22 for 12" BBQ chicken pizza with an additional ingredient! Suggestion: offer basic pizza and pasta at lower "value" pricing with addition of ingredients as option. You want visitors to come back! Note: not Mateos!

If you're one of those people who always thought that the name "Costello" was an Italian name and are expecting a big plate of ziti when you walk into Manoli's Pizza Company, you may be surprised- but not disappointed. As soon as you enter the large, spacious and ergonomically-decorated area and hear Amy Winehouse on the sound system, you know this is not "your father's pizzeria". Restaurateur/Owner Aaron Placourakis makes it real personal for this- his new "baby": "Manoli is as Greek a name as O'Leary is Irish and as Pasquale is Italian!" he proudly points out. The restaurant is named after his late father and dedicated to his family. This place has "family" written all over it- Aaron's wife Rhonda is responsible for the great musical ambience and Aaron himself is all over the dining room which overlooks the beautiful Wailea sunset skyline, chatting with customers, recommending wines from their sustainable organic selections and making sure the service in this affordable eatery is as top-notch as his other upscale restaurants. Featuring an array of fresh veggies, cheeses, meats, organically-grown spinach and authentic Greek salads, as well as the "build your own" hand-crafted pizzas- Manoli's Pizza Company will be a favorite walk-in dining choice for families, local residents and tourists for a long, long time.

Ordered take-out on opening day. Was not impressed. Ordered a Farmer's Market Veggie 16", $24. It was too sweet, and did not look appetizing with mushy veggies and squirted squiggles of hummus ( who squirts hummus on pizza? especially bland hummus). The cheese (fresh Mozzarella?) was smeared in large spots on the pizza. The spinach salad $9 was first presented in a small side container and when my husband questioned is that REALLY The $9 salad? it was then changed to a more realistic portion. The honey roasted mac nuts in the salad were really crunchy and really sweet with a thick crunchy layer of caramelized sugar...just like candy; also too sweet. Whole grain mustard dressing tasted more like honey mustard...terrible and also too sweet. I really wanted to like this place, but their recipes need work. I will try them again, some other time, and hope they get their act together. Definitely, Not Matteos!

Good pizza and a good Caesar salad, for less money than you'll pay at any of the resorts in the Wailea area. The service was fine -- not exactly attentive, until suddenly it seemed as if our waiter was in a hurry for us to leave. Best part about it was the setting. It was dark, so I can't speak to the view, but pretty much the whole dining area is open air and it was delightful!

Ordered pizza to be delivered. Was told it would take 30 minutes after an hour I called to follow up and was told it was out for delivery. Then Manolis called me to say they could not find my order and would look into where it was and get back to me. 15 minutes later the driver called to say he got held up at another delivery and had my pizza with him but he was still 20 minutes away from me. Pizza finally arrived over and hour and a half later and was cold and soggy.

Used to go here all the time when it was Matteos Pizza and loved it. Have tried Manoli's a couple of times...just can't recommend it. At first the menu was limited, and the pizzas just not that good and VERY pricey for what you get. Still pricey but the pizzas are better, especially improvement in the crust. The service can be good or not. Biggest complaint is the ridiculous wine by the glass service. The prices are very steep and the pours are 3.5 ounces max. C'mon Aaron, either lower the prices or pour a respectable amount. Until they can get all the pieces working better, we'll drive a little further up to Kihei to Fabianis for great service, great food, good value. And I hear soon there will be a Fabianis right here in Wailea.

Manoli's Is my new favorite pizza place to go for lunch or dinner. Aaron has done it again another exquisite place to eat for the whole family . This Pizza Company is open for lunch and dinner with a great location and beautiful views in Wailea Maui. There is a great selection of Pizza , salads and pasta dishes with a choice of white or red sauce. The salads are my favorite and always have the freshest ingredients a must have to compliment your pizza or pasta dish ! The price is definitely good and a great place to go for a nice evening out. I highly recommend this Pizza Company to all visitors staying on our south side of Maui. Five Star ***** on customer service !

This is not a "dinning experience". It is pizza in Maui. Good pizza, service and beer. Sit at the edge of the deck to watch the cats play below.

We have ate at Matteo's the previous pizza place which was the home of the current Manoli's. It was okay pizza in a pinch. But, this pizza is not worth it. I think the previous reviewer who said it was a shell with ingredients was correct. We ordered take out and once arrived we decided wasn't enough so ordered a cheese pizza too. Literally took 5 minutes or less too have made while we waited? The other pizza was pepperoni and mushrooms. And was awful with no flavor at all. Good thing we had some Italian seasoning to add to these! I am guessing this won't be here when we return next time to Maui. How hard it is it to make decent pizza?

The pizza is really yummy at this place, and they recently added some pasta and lasagna that are really good too. I loved their Greek salad! Their "personal trainer" pizza is the best with fresh ingredients, kale, avocado, tomatoes, etc...grilled chicken, and a touch of balsamic. Yumm! I also love the shrimp pesto pizza. The prices are a little up there, but your portion sizes are huge and the food is fresh and delish. The service is also phenomenal here, not really what you would expect for a pizza place, but surprisingly attentive and everyone is super friendly. Tamara the bartender is the best. We are locals so get to know our bartenders pretty well, so it is refreshing when they are super nice and personable. All in all, I love this place. Knowing Wailea, I always do expect to pay a little more in this area, but I can tell you that the slightly elevated prices are definitely worth the atmosphere, great food and great service that this restaurant provides.

I totally agree with Mike M who posted on 9/15/2012. I've been to Matteo's Pizzeria many times (which was at the same location until April 2012) and was hoping that Manoli's would have similarly outstanding food. Boy was I shocked and disappointed ! I should have listened to the owner of the condo where we are staying - he gave us fair warning about how bad it would be and we ignored it ! The next omen was was when we arrived - There was no line of people coming out of the restaurant like in the old days. We should have turned around and bolted there and then. We ordered the 'Personal Trainers' pizza and it sucked in just about every way !! I don't know how Meagan R. (posted 9/14/2012) can say that that it was 'DELICIOUS'. Seriously ? That's just ridiculous! It was by far the worst pizza I've eaten this century ! The crust tasted like reinforced cardboard and the toppings were dry and unappetizing. I won't come back a second time for food like this.

Food was awesome! Pizza is a thin crust with lots of flavor...Spagetti and Meatballs were delicious..... The chocolate chip cookie dessert... To DIE for!!! Wait staff very pleasant and helpful.... Can't wait to return!

Don't believe the loser snooty tourist comments. Great pizza, we always do take out so I cannot comment on service or restaurant experience the Meatballs on the pizza are terrific. The crust is wheat, thjn and crunchy delicious, the bar looks nice and we will pop in there for a beer while we wait sometime.

Had the Mediterranean pizza. I liked it. I'm very critical regarding crusts and theirs was pretty good, a bit on the light and fluffy side for me but not bad. I'd go again.

Pizza is pretty good but not great by any stretch and way over priced. Only three simple pasta options so plan on the pizza. Small family dinner was over $90. Ridiculous.

We were looking for a less expensive dining option. This place had a great environment and beautiful view of the sunset. The pizza was delicious. My wife loved the GF crust and the reg crust was thin and crispy. Great service. We loved this place!

This place needs to add more items to the menu. Salads and pizza are not going to get me back anytime soon. Get a few pasta dishes on the menu ASAP. The spinach salad was ono but the house salad was like eating coleslaw. The pizza also needs work - the crust is brittle and tasteless. I love toppings on my pizza and needless to say couldn't taste any of the ingredients on mine. I also ordered a plain cheese pie which I thought had more flavor. I may try this place again over the next few months. Hope it gets better and not any worse

Just finished dinner here. We have eaten here when it was Mateo's. We liked the changes. Delicious thin crust pizza cooked to a traditional oven where the heat omes up feom the floor of the oven Great variety of healthful and gourmet toppings. We liked getting to be seated rather than ordering at the counter and fending for ourselves to find a table. Fresh house salad with just right light dressing. Will be back

We had a horrible experience. We made reservation, but still waited 30 minutes for table. Finally, we were seated and after waiting 15 minutes we then had to chase down maitre d' to get water. Another 20 minutes and we were able to order. They told us it was slammed, but they were obviously understaffed. We waited an hour and a half for our piazzas and salad to arrive.. The waitress practically broke my salad bowl throwing it down on the table. Pizza was soggy, but spinach salad good. Really a shame the owner runs the restaurant so poorly, as it is a good location and good setting. We will never go again and will not ever recommend it. They should have paid us for enduring such a rotten experience. The owner should be ashamed.

Food was aveage. Service was dreadful. Drinks arrived more than half way through the meal after a reminder. Garlic bread was awful. Like a thick chunck of dense bread with nothing that tasted of garlic on it. Kids ate their food but as they decided to "pass" on desert (which I have never seen before) could oly mean one thing. I would not go back again nor would I recommend it.

My husband and I ate at Manoli's this evening and loved it! We shared the Hawaiian Honey pizza which had ham, pineapple, and onions. The food was great, as was the service. It wasn't terribly crowded which is fine with me. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good food at decent prices.
