    It's hard to rate subway on a taste or eating type of review. Since they're all pretty much the same. But the reason is for My rating is the staff itself. To be a little More forgiving, maybe they were new? I don't know, but to take 9 mins to make a sandwich with no sense of rush, In my mind....kills it there. When we for there, there were only 3 people ahead of us, we figured we had time to eat and still catch our movie. Not so Much. We actually had to leave because we had already waited 20mins till they got to the lady before us, but what got me, was there was no care in the world for these workers and as the line grew to about 10 of us, no one was getting out anytime soon. Very disappointed with the owners choice of staffing!!!!

    Went around 1215 today and ordered 2 sandwiches with flatbread. One spicy Italian and one turkey.. I watch her make it. Didn't ask once if I wanted mayo/mustard, oil/ vinegar, pepper, parmesean. I watch her make it look like turkey then when she wrote on my wrapper she wrote chicken so I said I asked for turkey. Oh I said never mind. Took long enough . Veggies were so tiny my 2 year old niece could of ate it. So said a 7.50 sandwich with 1.50 worth of vegetables. When I open my sandwich I couldn't even eat it. It was hard as rock it was so hard that I took a bit and it split in half. Lost my appetite just ate the inside. Mind you owner took my order and then handed me over to the other girl not repeating the order. Frustrated

    My girlfriend and I love coming here. The evening staff is always very attentive. It's really nice to walk into a Subway where they remember your favorite sandwich orders(especially great for me since I sometimes forget what my girlfriend likes). I don't get a lot of veggies in my diet and I am always pleased by the freshness of the vegetables here. The prices, like most Subway's, is very reasonable for the food that you get. They rotate their specials and even though we have our regular sandwichs, it's great to try something new every once a awhile. The staff keeps the facility clean and it always smells like fresh bread. Absolutely love coming here for my sub sandwich fixes. Yuuuummmm!

    The female owner is very stingy when making your sub or if you ask for a side of something. You tell her you want jalapeños or olives on your sub and she puts about three on there. I bet she knows how much each olive, jalapeño, and tomato slice costs. If she can't make the sub how the customer wants it, then don't make the subs. You can't sell 6 inch subs for $6.50 and act like you dictate what goes on the customer's sub! The young local girls that work here are rude and have no personality. They often look like they just crawled out of bed, threw on a Subway shirt, and put no other effort into their appearance. When you walk in they look at you like you are inconveniencing them. They have no business working in customer service!

    update: I am a HUGE Subway eater... i mean HUUUUGE!! i LOVE IT and choose it over any restaurant any day! BUT when you constantly receive horrible customer service, you DO NOT want to return somewhere to be treated this way! I used to come here before, and the service was bad BUT it seems its worst! The last time i came here it was horrible (see previous review) and i have had it with this place. I contacted the Subway Corporate office directly, which then forwarded my email to the owner of this location. She emailed me, apologized and said that she went over procedures and rules with the staff. She even offered me a FREE 6" sub of choice if i "gave them another chance". Simply print the email and take it into this location. Well, considering her promising email of changes, i really wanted Subway for dinner last night. I live a 5 minute walk from this location, so i figure give them another shot. I walked in, there was 2 people ahead of me. Same girl who gave me a horrible experience last time, as soon as i walked it, she was looking at me, as if she knew i was the one who complained. she kept looking up at me, so it already made me uncomfortable. I continued to wait my turn, even smiling at the staff as if it were my first time there "starting over". when she came to me, i was really nice and didn't give a hard time at all, i ordered my sandwich, she didn't smile, or look at me. when it came time to pay, i paid, she gave me my change and walked away. No thank you! Not a single word! In fact, I thanked her! Even tho the service wasn't great! This is seriously a huge issue, for me at least, i would hope its a huge issue for management too! I see horrible reviews below, the same complaints and nothing is being done to improve. Our business pays their checks. i predict alot of Subway locations will be shut down soon because they wont be making money because they're losing customers. the only reason i probably will return is to utilize my free sandwich and then I'm done. I deserve a free sandwich from here. I tried to give them another chance. I'd rather buy a $6 hot dog from the theaters than go here. Done!

    Came on a Monday at noon. They weren't busy at all so I expected at the very least standard service. The lady that was my "sandwich artist" started off okay; "What kind of sandwich?"..."what kind of cheese?"..."what vegetables do you want?" And up to this point I was all good with the service, then comes the weird part, so she finishes putting the veggies and then just stands there and stares at me, so after an awkward 5 Mississippi seconds worth I'm like "uh...", so I'm totally thinking she was just being polite and waiting for me to finish my sip of my bubble drink to ask me the standard 'mustard, mayo, oil, vinegar, pepper and parmesan?' But nope still staring at me for a good 5 Mississippi's after my "uh..." And finally she says "anything else?" And I'm like "yea... Mustard and mayo" "Anything else??" "Yea.. Oil and a lot of extra vinegar" Now a regular amount is one line over the entire sandwich, for my extra vinegar that's exactly what she put. So I'm like "can I get A LOT more?" (And I DID put emphasis on A LOT) So she proceeds to put the exact same amount; one line over the sandwich... REALLY!? Come on now are you really trying to be that chang? "Can I get MORE please!?" So she finally puts 2 lines worth on it. Okay finally a decent amount, I would have liked more but screw it already. "Anything else???" "Yea! Can I get pepper and Parmesan?" Like dude aren't all those standard operating procedure? It's a good thing I know how I like my Subway because other people I saw after me that ordered, she did the same thing and they weren't a pro like me so they lost out on all those ending garnishes. + The Good- fresh ingredients, nice ending product and never stale cookies - The Bad- Professional friendly customer service ~ The Weird- QUIT staring at me!! = The End- If you know what you want and you're not prone to paranoia and you don't mind almost bad customer service, then I'd suggest checking this place out.

    If only the owners would read their own reviews smh. I come here very far and in between and every single god dam time the bread is stale. Every time, I d rather drive out to kailua village for better, friendlier, quicker and fresher service. One star for crisp veggies.

    If I could put zero I would. The owner of this franchise needs to fire most of his staff. Every time we come they're rude. Tonight was Ashley. They close at 9. I came in at 7:55. She starts off by barking at me "how many." Not even "how many?" If you get my drift. Then it was "bread. Sandwich. Cheese. (Didn't ask about toasting.) Mayo mustard. Veggies." As if HOW DARE I come in and try to BOTHER her from whatever she was doing instead. The door to the back area is always open. It's usually fairly dirty. She rang me up, said "receipt." I said no thank you and she walked away. I asked her for her name and when she said Ashley i thanked her. If I didn't think she could beat me up I would have reached across the counter and slapped that bitch. The ONLY reason I come here is convenience and it's the only "healthy" quick food option nearby. I would come probably at least once a week if it wasn't for the grumpy ho-bags that work here.
