I enjoy Wendy's. It is one of the few fast food restaurant guilty pleasures I have. I have liked this Wendy's locations since it opened in the 90s. The entire chain is going through a make over, which is fine. The specialty sandwiches are good, but I also like the standard cheese burger and chocolate Frosty. The store is clean, and the employees are friendly.

Service 0/5 Seated us next to a large group when the whole place was open for seating. Waitress came to greet us and we never saw her for another 15minutes, while a family that sat after us gave their order to another waitress and got their waters. By the time we got our waters that same family got their food. We had to ask for a refill. For some reason, the waitress had us sign two separate receipts (with a very shady explanation). Restaurant 1/5 It was very dark and gloomy as the sun was setting because the lights were turned off. Then the lights came on and the room was lit up bright. The lights flickered about 3 times off and on. Food 1/5 Meat was cold in our salad and looked a bit undercooked. My steamed chicken was hot on the outside but cold inside. The cooks made another serving of meat for one of our dishes, but when it came it was still cold and felt microwaved. Note: After they took our order, my dad went to go put gas and returned, our food still didn't come in. We needed to return our car soon so we were about to leave when our food came. The waitress tried her best, and if it weren't for the long wait to order, it would have all been on the cooks. My parents were afraid to finish the food and get sick on the way home.

Waited in the drive thru for 20 minutes with ONE car in front of me. Baked potato was black...yes, black. Caesar salad wilted. 6 piece chicken nuggets with 5 pieces instead of 6...all 3 orders. $18 later and all I have is a bag full of crap!

3 1/2 stars... The average fare; burgers, fries, etc. the one thing I don't like about this store is the inconsistent customer service. Sure, these poor guys aren't highly paid, but being employed in this day and age should be worth something! Now, not to be prejudice, but the shemale who used to man the register was AWESOME! He/she was always on it and always seemed to get the orders correct on the first try. But I haven't seen him/her lately and have had to deal with a genuine female. Sorry, but when I have to repeat my order at least twice because you don't understand what a "number 2, biggie size" means, maybe you should be cooking instead! Plus, when we have to ask at least 3 times for ketchup, since the dispenser was empty, and you fail to tell someone who's responsible for that, another big fail! The food is always consistent, and lately, the counter service seems to be consistently bad! So, 4 stars for consistency (tongue in cheek)! Wendy, please bRing back my shemale so I don't starve in line the next time!

The most disappointing Wendy's to exist. Holy cow.... How can they stay in business? Went to make a quick lunch run through the drive through today because I don't live near a Wendy's on Oahu. First, I notice that no one is in line ahead of me except a truck with two people in it, as I pull up. Fast forward at least 11 minutes and later and the truck is STILL at the order menu and not because they're placing a huge order... But because the dude working the drive though is making them wait. I can't back out because I'm now car #2 of a huge growing chain of cars. FINALLY, the truck ahead just speeds off, apparently they were tired of waiting. I get to the menu, and immediately all I hear is "Hold on"... While contemplating the rudeness of that, I sit in silence, broken a minute later with just another "hold on"... I sit and wait a moment then the guy says, "hold on, okay?"... Mind you I already said okay the first time, and I haven't even begun to try to order. Another a minute passes. I dwell on the fact I never heard a please or thank you.... Especially considering I'm into minute #13 waiting in the drive through line of apparently... purgatory. At last "what can I get for you".... Wow... STILL no apology? So I order and make the decision that I will not return to this Wendy's ever again in any of my many work trips to Maui each month. I am surprisingly able to place my order without incident. I get to the window. I pay the rude guy. He goes to hand me my drink without even looking out to see where I am... He'd see that he's holding it four feet away from me. I unbuckle to reach out and get it. Then I sit. I wait another minute... We're up to 15 minutes now in this drive through disaster. Then the window opens. I'm told my chicken nuggets will be 4 minutes. "Would I like to wait?". I lost it and just laughed... Wait is all I had done since I pulled in. I say no, and take my order another 10-15 seconds later. Almost ready to pull away, I notice... No straw. I get the stink eye for asking for one. I drive off to park and eat. I notice no receipt in/on the bag. I'm on business. It may be Wendy's but it reimbursable. I drive back.... I go inside because the drive through line is now almost blocking traffic. A girl helps me after finishing an order. I say I came through the drive through, and I ordered the fish fillet combo a moment ago, I need the receipt. She disappears a moment returns with receipt in hand. I notice it wasn't mine (it's missing another item on it... No biggie, someone else maybe got the fish combo just after me). I explain its not mine, mine also had the additional item and chili. Instead of going to get that receipt, the girl gets the additional items I just said would be on the receipt and hands me a bag of food instead. I'm seriously laughing at this point at just how awful the service is.... Almost like I'm being punked or the victim of some other hidden camera show. I push the food back to her and say "receipt".... I only need my receipt. She disappears again. Finally comes back with the right receipt. I walk out the door, NEVER to return again. It wasn't a joke... They actually thought they provide good service. THAT was the joke!

Worst service ever. Four people in the place and im second to order. Took 20 mins to get my 3 value chicken sandwiches and the two people behind me with bigger orders got their food first.
I'm not a huge fan of Wendy's, mainly because their buns used to be yellow in color and reminded me of Hawaiian sweet bread which I don't care for. But that's all changed. I can deal with the square patty. ATMOSPHERE: Typical Wendy's with a drive-thru. Inside is clean with lots of seating. FOOD: Dave's Hot 'N Juicy 1/2 pound double burger - Unfortunately pretty tasteless hamburger, even with the cheese, tomato and pickles. The bun was soft and thin which I'm fine with, and the fries were crispy & tasty. SERVICE: It's pretty slow for a fast food joint. OVERALL: Won't be back for a while. There are 3 other joints within a mile radius that offer tastier burgers.

We lived on the island for over 7 years and when we first moved here this was the worst Wendy's ever. Just recently my husband suggested we give it a try again so we did. I was so pleasantly surprised. I'm really sensitive to how hamburger meat smells and tastes. it needs to be fresh and not old and I can say that this is definitely one of the better tasting hamburgers on island. I also have a child who has sensory issues and an extremely picky eater who loves this place! I don't know if its under new management or what but all the problems we experienced before are gone. I've come back several times before posting this just to make sure it's consistently good and I'm happy to report it has been. . We've only come inside and have not used the drive thru service so I can't comment on that. overall we are very pleased and happy that we have another place again for a good burger.

Well I stop by to give it a shot to see if perhaps the owner read their yelp reviews and it doesn't appear as though they did. I just ordered lunch and again the fries were cold overly salty this time the Coke was flat and a burger tasted old Old and the bun was stale. And unfortunately this time the staff wasn't very friendly and seemed rushed and no smile at all. I really hope the owner reads these yelp reviews and works to fix what he is still my favorite of all the franchises or burger chains out there. I will swing by get it a few months when I'm in town and see if it's work or if they've gotten any better. Have a great day!

Drive thru is SLOW AS HELL. Rude guy taking orders, made me late for my appointment. Pissed more at myself than anything for forgetting how crap the service is at this Wendy's.

The worst Wendy's I have ever been to. We did a drive-thru here only because we were in a hurry to get to the airport to catch a flight back home and this place was close-by. The spicy chicken sandwiches we got tasted like frozen patties heated up, with absolutely no flavor. I had a hard time swallowing the food. Even the strawberry milkshake was not that great compared to the ones you get in other burger chains. I should have skipped this place and gone to the subway right next to it.

I think that this is a great location for them in town. My boss and I like to go through their drive-thru before heading to the airport. We'll pick up dinner and eat it in the Hawaiian Airline's premier lounge. Unfortunately they have gotten our orders messed up a couple of times and have also given us issues once when we wanted a receipt for business write-offs. We still remain a faithful customer here because of their tasty salads and dollar menu. Outstanding and prompt, efficient and outmost friendly service from the staff here. Must be supported by GREAT Management, please keep this up as a lot of fast food restaurants are not on top of the ball like this Wendy's Maui location try it for yourself. Hot food items served at perfect temperature and prepared to perfection! Not sloppy. I'm grateful for the personality of the employees here and very pleased with the food.
