Hank's Burger Truck is what got me out of my hibernation and back on Yelp, writing! It is a food truck, stationed in the parking lot next to Hank's Haute Dogs. The parking situation is a bit tricky (limited parking in the lot, or street parking), but if you get through that, you're in for a treat. The menu is simple-burger (cheese, no cheese), fries (special dipping sauces available for $0.50 each), drinks (redeemed inside of Hank's Haute Dogs). Make sure you have some time to wait for your food, as they don't have them pre-cooked. My co-worker and I enjoyed our burgers on the bench behind the truck. The garlic ailoi dipping sauce is terrific (if you're a garlic lover) and the curry ketchup was like nothing I've ever tasted before...yum! The burgers aren't disgustingly large so you won't feel guilty eating one. The meat is juicy and tastes like it just came off a grill in a backyard bbq. The fries are crispy. I had left overs and several hours later, they got a little soggy but were completely still edible. Hank's Burger Truck is a great addition to Hank's Haute Dogs!

What is the new food truck with smoke billowing out its windows parked on Coral Street next to Hank's Haute Dogs?! Hank's Burger Truck! We used to have to wait once a month for the charbroil burger to make an appearance at Hank's, now we get to enjoy every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! Friday : 11am-2pm Saturday,Sunday : 12pm-3pm Perfectly charbroiled third pound patties, all the fixings $4.95, make it a combo (plus fries, haute dipping sauce, soda) $8.70. Each burger is cooked medium, nice and juicy as a perfect burger should be. The char on the outside provides nice texture and flavor. Enjoy the outdoor seating on the patio next to Hank's! Note to the vertically challenged, the window to the truck is quite high, bring someone tall. The "After Hike Special" : Get the cheeseburger combo from the truck and a pineapple ice from Hank's Haute Dogs, thirst quenching and delicious! I will take and post pictures next time I go!

Best just straight, simple, diner-like, no messing about, old-school burger. We liked it even better than our hot dog! $8.70 for a meal with your choice of sauce - a bit pricey... but SO MUCH BETTER THAN ANY fast food chain. Make your tummy happy and forego the super processed, overcooked McTurds.

The hamburger was so delicious. It's not just a run of the mill hamburger - the taste was out of the world. Tasted like quality dry aged beef. We went to the site of the hotdog stand but we were told that the truck was in Kaimuki, on Kapahulu Avenue. So we tracked them down and we were not disappointed!

Your best bet to find updated info on what hours the truck is open on which days is to follow hank's on twitter. It's pretty safe to say they open on sat/sun but if you don't live that close, it's probably better to double check before heading down. The menu is simple--cheese or no cheese. You can create a combo with fries, dipping sauce and soda if you like but those are your only choices. The burger is really good and not as big as you would think. I'm not a big burger fan but I could finish this one no problem. It's a little like in and out in the composition and taste, which I like. I think the best combo is to order a burger from the truck, then go inside and grab a pineapple freeze to go along with it =)

Aloha Hank's Haute Burger Truck! Hanks Haute Dog Strikes Again, Look out my Foodies, lots attention is always given to any new Hank Haute dog ideas, Look for the Truck parked next to The 324 Coral location to get your Haute Burger its a limited menu i think just burger and fries, so you can get on with your life. I got the combo, just under $9.00, so its not small burger and don't forget any of the famous special side sauces. Ok check List time ya? -As good as it Gets! ya -Cooked to Order ya -Great French Fries ya -Lets you get in and out yep Kevin U.
