Meh, "A-OK," my friends were raving about their panini, I was underwhelmed for the price. It was alright.

This cafe is tucked away on one of the side streets in Downtown Hilo. I did not know this until my coworkers and I were walking towards Puka Puka Kitchen. We stumbled upon the bright and wonderfully colored board that sits outside on the sidewalk. The three of us were there for a work lunch, so we decided to try something new. I like cafes so much because they remind of Berlin again, where there are cafes at every corner. The interior is very welcoming, bright, and comfortable. There is more of a lighter atmosphere here than at Starbucks (probably the interior design and colors). We all enjoyed our food very much! One of my coworkers had the spinach and artichoke panini. Another the turkey wrap. Both looked very tasty and the portions are just right, not enough to make you want to lay on the ground in agony after forcing yourself to finish your delicious food. Instead you leave filled and happy you can still move easily, somewhat at least. I had the garden goddess bagel. I would like to have that bagel right in front of me now. It is so so good! You don't need any meat when you have lettuce, red onions, tomatoes, avocado, and this delicious sauce that I'm thinking is called the green goddess sauce/dressing (I could be wrong!). On the side there were some plain ridged chips. Very very good! I highly recommend it! One of my coworkers and I also had the lilikoi green tea. This is a refreshing drink that is light and pairs well with any sandwich, wrap, etc. Ok, so now that I've put Surf Break Cafe on a pedestal, please go check it out yourself.

Great find. After hiking Waipio Valley this morning and headed to the volcano hikes, this was SO good. Excellent food and smoothies.

I'm liking the new look and location of the Surf Break Cafe. It's now right by the Bay Front which is sure to attract more business. The cafe is bright, airy with picnic tables and a couple of couches in the corner. Right away as we walked in, we were greeted by 2 ladies behind the counter. The menu is written on a dry-erase board overhead. They offer breakfast and lunch items and are known for their breakfast burritos. We stopped in for lunch with a friend and ordered the cilantro chicken bacon ranch wrap and cilantro chicken salad. The wrap is offered with either a spinach or wheat tortilla. It comes with cold cilantro chicken salad, real bacon pieces, iceberg lettuce and ranch dressing. The salad consisted of iceberg lettuce, cilantro chicken salad and cilantro dressing. The chicken salad had a nice flavor and was great in both dishes. I recommend sitting in the couch nook because it's really comfortable.

Great chai! Yummy acai bowl (if a little sweet). Friend's scramble was good.

We were looking for a place to get a simple lunch in Hilo and happened upon this place. What a wonderful surprise. The food was fresh, home made and absolutely delicious. I don't eat large amounts of food so I asked if I could order off the Keiki (kids) menu. They said absolutely (the service was extremely friendly). I had the most wonderful peanut butter and banana sandwich on sweet Hawaiian bread grilled in a pannini press. Truly the best sandwich I had in Hilo.

I had walked in to the shop unaware that they had just cleaned their espresso machine and counted the till (two time consuming tasks that you would only do once closed). As I approached the counter one of the girls said "Oh I'm sorry we just closed!" I said ok and began to walk out when I she immediately said again,"unless you want a drink! We can do that for you". Customer service at its finest, I said ok and ordered three Americanos to go. They began to make them with a smiles on and cheerful attitudes. Let me tell you, this is the BEST Americano I've ever had! The blend is so smooth, you don't taste the oils at all and it's enjoyable, not to mention the customer service was above and beyond! I 100% recommend this place weather it's a one stop shop on vacation or you're a local looking for a new coffee house hangout!

  • Adam H.

Food was alright but bland, had to douse my breakfast burrito in tapatio to get through it. Had an americano to drink, it was alright too but a little on the weak side also. Service is friendly and the location is convenient.

Arrived just as they opened and they were ready for business. I had the Dawny Girl and an espresso. Both were good, but the sandwich was a bit bland. A side of salsa would have helped. Service was quick. Espresso was good and served very hot.

Casual spot with comfortable feel. Delicious acai bowl, try their lilikoi cream cheese bagel, great coffee. I recommend it!

My husband and i stopped by here for breakfast before our hike. I had the cafe au lait and it was good. To eat, i had the taj burrito. It was really good, but be careful the sausage is spicy. I recommend getting it with the salsa and a side of sour dough toast. My husband had the grom burrito with sausage and it was good as well. The service was fast and friendly. Wish we had a chance to come back!

Oh my gosh! This place is the quintessential big island cafe. Super laid back and yummy food. If I die I want to be buried in the homemade lilikoi cream cheese.

We had breakfast here with out 10 year old and infant. We got a coffee, chai latte and triple crown burrito with bacon and our son got the keiki pb&j. It came out on this super thick sweetbread that was not too sweet and so soft. Our son is not very adventurous but admitted this variation was amazing. The burrito was delicious and had been grilled on a panini grill. The atmosphere was fun and laid back, like most of Hilo. The girl taking our order was very welcoming of our curious toddler, always a plus! A few tables and a sitting area with local art decorating the place. If you are on a timeline and need people waiting on you hand and foot, you probably need to get out of Hilo, but if you enjoy great food and a chill atmosphere, head to the surf break!

Goodness, what a rude owner. Went in and ordered food today, while waiting, the owner came out and informed me that they were filming something today and they wanted to have the cups they sell there in the shot. I was drinking an iced coffee from another place in a clear, unmarked cup. This cafe has no branding on their cups, but she wanted me to move if I was going to keep it on the table. A member of the filming crew came up and told us we should stay where we were, I'm assuming for the shot. The owner of the cafe got flustered and told us "well YOU just decide what you want to do then!" which was totally unnecessary. We would have gladly moved if asked politely, but seriously, we were paying customers. If a cup is that important to you, you should have brought one over and I'd have poured mine in it for the sake of the shot. Now there's nothing more for me to say than that the portions are small for the money and the owner should look into a mood stabilizer.

This is a great little place to stop for a quick bite, smoothie, or coffee. It was pretty laid back and quiet during the day when I went, so I imagine it would be a cool place to meet up with a friend or study, if you're a student. The coffee itself was DELICIOUS. Like everything else that's good in Hilo, it is overpriced.

Awesome burritos!!! Love their spicy chicken burrito (can't remember the name of it) with zesty slaw! Bomb!!

  • Kari P.

Adorable place for coffee and a bite to eat! Free wifi and a nice lounge area to relax in. Stopped here after a long drive from Kona, perfect place to recharge before exploring Hilo! Had the everything bagel with artichoke and spinach and a chai latte - both were good.

BAH! Terrible for families! This place is an over-rated wanna be surf style dive coffee house with breakfast. There are no menus and don't expect restaurant style seating, or service. The food selection is minimal and uninspired at best. My family and I came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. I waited in line for 10 minutes to place an order while my husband took our kids and sat on a couch, yes a couch. There was a small table (coffee table) in front of the couch. He and our daughter had to pee but there are no restrooms to be found. I had ordered iced tea and was brought a watered down iced earl grey tea in a plastic cup, with no ice. When our food finally arrived, they gave my husband something that we didnt even order, but we didnt want to send it back because we were afraid they would forget about it and we would get nothing. I ordered a Grom breakfast burrito but got a very bland mush inside a pita type bread...eew. Dont waste your time. Go to Ken's, your kids will thank you.

This was a great find in the town of Hilo especially for breakfast. The coffee is good and their menu selection is great. The menu includes several types of breakfast burritos, paninis, acai bowls, bagels, and smoothies. I had the Grom burrito which was stuffed with eggs, potatoes, cheese, and sausage. Very satisfying. The atmosphere is chill and relaxed. I loved it there and look forward to returning during future trips to Hilo.

quite possibly the best smoothie I've had in a very long time, the "Dorian". Full of coconut and banana flavor. Perfect.

I'm glad that i have waited to review this place until it has moved to its current location. I first came to know Surf Break Cafe when I just started playing music in front of audiences. I got to play music here mingle with other musicians and enjoy food and beverages. Over all the experience was good then. Now It is more impressive and better. The food. Initially i was meh about it. It was pretty plain but by no means bad. I recently came here to join a few friends and was in dire need to eat. I remembered my previous meal and though id give them a second chance to wow. I was not completely wowed but I had a panini and it was pretty good. The drinks are pretty standard. I'm not much of a coffee snob so i can't really say the goods and the bads here. The coffee tasted like coffee and was good to me. I normally get it iced. Not sure if they cold brew which is a selling point to me as it tastes stronger and has more caffeine. The price is reasonable especially because they are downtown and it must cost a fortune to be located where they are. The price is not as good as Just Cruisin or Starbucks but lets be honest here Just Crusin is much smaller and probably pays a fraction of what Surfbreak pays. Starbucks is rich and owned by Doctor Evil. They can afford to be where ever they want. I will say the Sandwich prices here are much better than short and sweet bakery. The atmosphere. My most common complaint about restaurants in particular is space. The previous location was far too small. It did not have enough room for a Cafe/Coffee shop let alone space for music to be played and people to comfortably lounge around. I do enjoy the artsy nature of the place. It seems cleaner and brighter in its new skin. I sincerely hope they still provide live music here. I would definitely enjoy performing here if given the chance. The parking is better now then it was at the old location. The old location only had a few parallel stalls that were near by. You could either walk or get lucky finding a stall. Now the location is close enough to park on the front street in the angle stalls as well as much more parallel street parking near by. I parallel park like a boss but it still sucks and its still hard to find a space especially on Wednesday and Saturday when the Farmers market is going.

A few vegan options if you make small modifications. Both times I went there, I had the Ranch grilled burrito, no cheese, and it was delicious. It may be on the lunch menu, but it makes a great breakfast! They also have a couple good smoothies. Just have them make it with soymilk and hold the protein (it's whey protein). They also make great soy lattes.

Looking for a small hole in the wall that is relaxing and gives you that mom and pop vibe? Look no further. Great service and tasty food. Real friendly staff too. I recommend their taco salad. It's refreshing and not like an ordinary one with millions of chips or a bowl.

Just had a cilantro chicken wrap and berry smoothie--both were so good! Working by myself today so this really made my day. They also serve up some of the best coffee in Hilo.

okay, I promised that I would come back after my group meeting and do a review. It was a Saturday morning, one of the busiest days in downtown Hilo as their fabulous farmers market is in full swing. The place was jumping and I had 15 people coming together for a meeting. To preface this review, I have to say that there was no other place in Hilo that was willing to accommodate our group unless we committed to order at least 12.00 each from their menus. Anyway, the crew at Surf Break welcomed us with open arms. Even though we were noisy, wanted to turn the tables around and stayed for almost 2 hours, they continued to service us with the true spirit of Aloha! The food was great, the coffee fresh and delicious. Honestly, this is one of the best dining experiences I have ever had in Hilo...who would of thought at a simple down home surf coffee shop? Thanks Malissa and staff!

Best wi-fi spot in Hilo! Food is delicious, good portions, and depending on who is making it, well-presented. Espresso is great - if you know exactly what you want and ask for it, you get it! Wonderful art work, nice mellow place - especially great to hang out on a rainy Hilo day! I would like to see a few more specials, but after only being in business a short time, they are doing well with adding more baked goods. Other items are for sale, there is a small boutique in the cafe as well.

My favorite - bagel with lilikoi cream cheese spread. Yummy. We like to stop in the mornings -a quiet kick back atmosphere.

Help was friendly and food was good for breakfast. Had poanini and coffee.

  • GHADA Y.

The coffee and free wi-fi are huge pluses! I had a breakfast scramble one morning that was just okay. They only offer sourdough, which was stale. But, the service is very friendly and the atmosphere is light and airy. I'm glad I found this place during my visit.

Wow! Just had a great lunch that consisted of a Tortilla Wrap with vegies and avacodo pressed into a Panini! They served it with home made salsa that was soooooo good! I had a lilikoi ice tea with it that was so fresh and home made. Food made with love! That is what I love. I really like this place! Aloha

After peeking through the windows of this soon-to-be open cafe for several months, the day is finally here! I work right up the street and have been dying for a decent place to lunch that won't break my bank. This is it! Had a chance to try out their artichoke-spinach melt today. Doesn't sound qppetizing? WELL IT IS!! Savory and rich with a kick from the artichokes.. loved it. Perfect size to fill me up, full of delicious vegetables, and at the right price point- 8 bucks. The owners did a wonderful job decorating and furnishing. It feels peaceful and fun, stimulating and calming all at the same time. Does that make sense? There is ample space for customers to sit down and do work or chill out. Does not feel cramped like the typical blah franchise.. 'cough'... Starbucks. In any case, defintely stop by for breakfast or lunch. I will.. regularly.

Great customer service, but espresso was not. It tasted very diluted, bitter and gritty. I took one sip and tossed in the trash can. I am spending a week in Hilo and trying to find a good cup of coffee. No luck yet!!

This place was awesome! We got into the airport at 6:30 am and were starving and had no idea where to go. Stumbled upon the place because we are learning to surf and anything with the word "surf" in it is an attractive prospect for us. We were not disappointed! Cute seating, great interior decorations, awesome food (we got the breakfast burrito and the bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich, and got a Dorian smoothie which was pineapple, banana, coconut, soy milk, honey. DELICIOUS!) Most of all, really calming atmosphere where we could read our books and listen to great folk/indie music playing softly over the speakers. What a great experience. We plan to go back again today. Thank you Surf Break!

Good coffee and a nice cafe atmosphere. The people that work here are really nice and with few places for internet in Hilo, this place is perfect for getting some work done.

Absolutely love this place! I went in one morning to check it out. While there is a variety of choices on the menu, I decided to go simple and get a smoothie (Machado) and a bagel with cream cheese. The Machado was delicious, but what really made me like this place was the plain homemade cream cheese. Nicely whipped and yummy. They were extremely generous with their serving of cream cheese! Decided to take my friend there and we both got a bagel. She went for the delicious plain cream cheese while I decided to try the lilikoi. Again, absolutely wonderful. The homemade lilikoi cream cheese was nicely whipped and the sweetness of the lilikoi was perfect. Not too sweet, light and refreshing. Must try!

First time: acai bowl and 2 hot coffees. Second time: acai bowl, frappe, spicy panini, hot coffee. Pros: coffee is awesome, wifi is fast, location is easy to find, lots of comfortable seating options, service is nice. Cons: The acai mix here has an off color, too dark. The taste is little compromised. Like it got freezer burnt. If theyre making it in-house they should add a preservative, ie lemon juice, grapefruit juice. The granola contains raisins, nuts, oatmeal. The first time I had it, it was great. Second time, it was stale. It had a strong rancid oil taste. Probably the nuts. Theres a light drizzle of honey, which is alright, however unecessary, the bananas are great and add enough sweetneess. My companion had the panini. Chips were stale. The outside hadnt been brushed with butter or oil, so it lacked the charachteristic crunchy exterior of a panini. Perhaps trying to be healthy? Coconut oil spray would do the trick. Pricey for the level of execution. If they gave the food a little more love, they'd give cruisin coffee and starbucks a run for thier money.

Nice art work but horrible coffee. Ordered a blended mocha and what I ended up with was barely drinkable. I got 1/4 the way through and tossed it away. Last I checked mochas has at least a hint of chocolate flavor.

One of my favorites! They make their own Chai...and the breakfast scrambles and smoothies are good.

On 4/7/15 My husband, small children and I were visiting Hilo for the day from Kona and were excited to have a late lunch here after a visit to the zoo. We made sure we left in plenty of time to arrive before 2:30 since they close at 3:00. We were excited to find a great parking space, unloaded all three kids and ran inside. We were starving and just spent 30 mins of traffic trying to get there. My first impression was how HOT and moldy it felt inside. It also had a strange smell. Next We were greeted by an eye roll from the blonde girl behind the counter who was standing around chatting with her coworker. As we approached and began viewing the menu she blurted out, "only drinks. We'll only serve drinks now". I looked at my husband and politely told her we were looking for food, so no thank you. She just scowled at me and returned to talking to her coworker again. As we walked out my two year old started balling. The next hour was a frustrating head ache traffic jam trying to find somewhere to eat. Thanks cafe.

Not worth the price. A part of me wants to just leave it at that, but I think this place deserves an explanation. I do not, by any means, consider myself above paying more for better/ unique food. And this place is definitely unique. I keep coming back here because of one thing and one thing only... Their damn Artichoke and spinach cream cheese! Why do I fall for it everytime? It's pretty good, yes, but a panini filled with it and a handful of regular potato chips should not cost more than $10! I mean come on, that handful of chips cost only about 50 cents? Don't fall for the lure of this place. For the price you might as well go to an actual sit down restaurant.

    (2)
  • Thomas K.

Sooo I was checking reviews for this place because most places I have eaten at on the big Island... Hasn't been... The best to say the least. So I saw a few reviews on here that mentioned the breakfast burritos as being "the best I ever had" Wow! Bold statement! I figured these were reviews that were prompted by the owners or something of that nature so I had to find out for myself... Well the breakfast burritos ARE amazing... To say the least. Rest assured, if you eat here you won't be disappointed.

    (5)
  • Rachel M.

Don't go here if you want a smoothie. Their choices are limited, the cost is high for what you get and the base is ice. I saw one review that reports the smoothies were cheap ~4$ but I had to pay 7$ for a small. Could not even drink the whole thing. There are better choices if you are searching for just a smoothie. Did not have any food because 45min before their closing time they informed us that they were not serving food.

I was visiting Hilo earlier this week. While wandering around downtown, my friend and I found this place. I ordered the Ranch Grilled Burrito and it was easy to get it in a totally vegan version. It was so delicious! The Lilikoi Iced Tea is amazing as well.

    (5)
  • Victor C.

Great comfort food! The paninis were delicious and the smoothies were off the hook! The Dorian smoothie especially was good. The food is relatively cheap, around $5-7 dollars for the panini I had, and the smoothies were around $4.

  • Andrew G.

Stopped by for a coffee in the morning and they told me they wouldn't take card for less than $5, but since I was on a run I didn't really have that. They did let me slide so I got my coffee on my credit card, but I thought it was silly. The people were nice, the coffee was okay, but I would definitely go back if I needed a coffee in a pinch.

  • Edwin B.

My wife loved their Molly - lilikoi cream cheese in between two fluffy slices of Hawaiian sweet bread. We literally came to this location multiple times for this dish (even on the way to the airport). I thought it was OK as I had multiple egg/breakfast sandwich dishes that were OK but nothing to write home about. It's a cool coffee shop vibe with wifi and right in the heart of downtown. Big plus is that it opens early.

    (4)
  • Panda B.

Just meh. Went in the first time to get a coffee and didnt realize there is a 5$ minimum to use your card, wasnt really hungry so just ordered a bagel with nothing on it (im not a cream cheese person and thats the only option) and they charged me 5$...just for a bagel.... i can get an entire bag of em for that price! Spent almost 10$ on a plain coffee and a plain bagel haha pretty ridiculous. Went in a second time for breakfast with a friend, got the 3 egg scramble, not really worth 9 bucks but it got the job done. The menu isnt impressive and a little too pricey, but the cafe is cool. Lots of places to sit and free wifi, plus everyone is really nice there! There are other places close by that are better but if you end up here just dont have high expectations.

Grabbed a quick lunch be for our zip line tour. I had an everything bagel with jalapeño and artichoke cream cheese and a coconut pineapple smoothie. My husband had burrito and chocolate peanut butter smoothie. We both loved our food. Relaxed atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back again!

Stopped in here for a breakfast burrito (the Grom) & coffee. It was really good! Cute place with free wifi too. Nice people working there & definitely some of the best coffee I have had in a long time! If you are in downtown Hilo stop here!!

  • Kikumi P.

Great food! This seemed to be the only place open on a Sunday so we went and we're not disappointed. Breakfast burritos were amazing, prices were reasonable and the atmosphere reminded me of Haleiwa. My husband says it was the best meal he had on the island.

    (5)
  • Erynn T.

Cilantro chicken taco salad was good! -- 5 stars! A-OK 3-Stars: Lilikoi ice tea was a bit underwhelming, needed more lilikoi flavor My mom got a spinach artichoke panini, it was good, but too rich for me! (lots of cheese, sour cream) Place has a nice, laid-back atmosphere (but no AC... I absolutely wilt in hot weather). I would probably come back and try other things though!

This is the first place we landed in Hilo right off the airplane, looking for some lunch on our way to the farmers market. Mixed reviews on the rather expensive smoothies, two of us liked it one of us didn't. My breakfast burrito was terrific and they were very accommodating of my daughters turkey-only sandwich.

It's was a quiet Monday morning. We ordered the iron smoothie/ ice latte/cinnamon swirl/dawnty girl breakfast sandwich. Pretty casual setting with two comfy sofas, picnic tables and outdoor sitting. Bathroom is nice and clean.

  • Ds A.

This place was pretty good but the portions weren't really worth price. I got the turkey sandwich and the slater smoothie. Both were tasty but the price was almost $20 and they were both pretty small. It also took them quite a while to make it.

    (3)
  • Shawn C.

This was a nice place to grab a fast breakfast/lunch. I had a grilled burrito and my wife had the Grom. Definitely a place that caters to the hipster crowd but the food was still good. It would have been nice to have a refill for my soda but they only have it in cans. My son loved the cheese quesadilla. I would go back.

    (4)
  • S K.

Beware!!Their definition of latte is all milk with a bit of espresso! Although we asked double short got a very diluted latte. When we went back and questioned if they put double shot, got an arrogant 'we always do' response without the offer to make it better.

  • Jasmine D.

We had the most amazing bagel and homemade cream cheese. Artichoke spinach with everything bagel and sundried tomatoes with multigrain... Yummy we are going to grab some more tomorrow... The bagel was perfect not that fat bagel that overwhelms the taste of cream cheese.

  • Ted W.

2.5 stars- got the job done, but I won't be telling any friends to go here. Smoothie had those ice cube chunks you would expect cheap places to use to save on fruit ( it wasn't even fresh so no excuses) luckily there was enough peanut butter in it to help the taste. Sandwich was incredibly thin/bland - but I ate it because I was hungry. See attached photo. Also they use "to go" trays for "here" which seems a little wasteful and tacky to me. Needless to say I was disappointed by the positive yelp reviews and I feel the need to restore balance here, at least until the cafe steps it up( or lowers their prices to match quality)

Healthy ingredients. Create your own a ramble. Diverse coffee options. Local green tea. Nut for price portion on scrambles seemed a little skimpy. But good quality. Friendly staff.

Awesome! The open air cafe with comfortable Hawaiian rattan furniture with wi-fi? Yeah, definitely a find in Hilo town. Try the Dawny girl panini! Only $7.25 - and it has scrambled eggs, avocado, pepper jack cheese on multi-grain bread. Or you could get sour dough. It's ooey-gooey goodness, within a crunchy outside. Perfectly prepared. Great find! Service is very fast and friendly, too!

Great food! This seemed to be the only place open on a Sunday so we went and we're not disappointed. Breakfast burritos were amazing, prices were reasonable and the atmosphere reminded me of Haleiwa. My husband says it was the best meal he had on the island.

Adorable place for coffee and a bite to eat! Free wifi and a nice lounge area to relax in. Stopped here after a long drive from Kona, perfect place to recharge before exploring Hilo! Had the everything bagel with artichoke and spinach and a chai latte - both were good.

Perfect.

No luck yet!!

okay, I promised that I would come back after my group meeting and do a review.

Aloha

Healthy ingredients. Create your own a ramble. Diverse coffee options. Local green tea. Nut for price portion on scrambles seemed a little skimpy. But good quality. Friendly staff.

This place was pretty good but the portions weren't really worth price. I got the turkey sandwich and the slater smoothie. Both were tasty but the price was almost $20 and they were both pretty small. It also took them quite a while to make it.

Must try!

Stopped by for a coffee in the morning and they told me they wouldn't take card for less than $5, but since I was on a run I didn't really have that. We had the most amazing bagel and homemade cream cheese. Artichoke spinach with everything bagel and sundried tomatoes with multigrain... Yummy we are going to grab some more tomorrow... The bagel was perfect not that fat bagel that overwhelms the taste of cream cheese.

Beware!!Their definition of latte is all milk with a bit of espresso! Although we asked double short got a very diluted latte. When we went back and questioned if they put double shot, got an arrogant 'we always do' response without the offer to make it better.

Pricey for the level of execution. If they gave the food a little more love, they'd give cruisin coffee and starbucks a run for thier money.

Must try!

Awesome cafe. Very local. Lots of character. Hilo charm. Has free WiFi. Yummy breakfast and a really sweet staff.

Healthy ingredients. Create your own a ramble. Diverse coffee options. Local green tea. Nut for price portion on scrambles seemed a little skimpy. But good quality. Friendly staff.

  • Ds A.

This place was pretty good but the portions weren't really worth price. I got the turkey sandwich and the slater smoothie. Both were tasty but the price was almost $20 and they were both pretty small. It also took them quite a while to make it.

It's was a quiet Monday morning. We ordered the iron smoothie/ ice latte/cinnamon swirl/dawnty girl breakfast sandwich. Pretty casual setting with two comfy sofas, picnic tables and outdoor sitting. Bathroom is nice and clean.

  • S K.

Beware!!Their definition of latte is all milk with a bit of espresso! Although we asked double short got a very diluted latte. When we went back and questioned if they put double shot, got an arrogant 'we always do' response without the offer to make it better.

I like the lilikoi green tea. Not sweet ar all. Natural flavors. Menu looks great. Too bad I'm not hungry. Free wi fi a bonus.

  • Panda B.

  • Robin B.

    (5)

Adorable place for coffee and a bite to eat! Free wifi and a nice lounge area to relax in. Stopped here after a long drive from Kona, perfect place to recharge before exploring Hilo! Had the everything bagel with artichoke and spinach and a chai latte - both were good.

Perfect.

It's refreshing and not like an ordinary one with millions of chips or a bowl.

okay, I promised that I would come back after my group meeting and do a review.

  • Maire R.

Aloha
