Don't bother. It's VERY dirty inside, I was visiting Hilo for an hour or so, so I'm not sure if all of the restaurants are like this one, the drink lids pop right off if you don't grab them from the bottom. The food is extremely oily and will make you regret your stay there when you go to the bathroom. Would not recommend...

Avoid this place at all costs! The food will make you want to sleep! We fell into a ditch 30 minutes after eating here! NEVER COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO CRASH YOUR CAR!

This L&L has a horrible bathroom, but the curry is much much better than the one's on the mainland. That being said the BBQ short-ribs themselves were probably just average given that the meat quality was good and they somehow were a bit dry. I think my husband got the better deal with the curry plate which was really fresh and quality for the $$$ There is also a pedestrian Chinese place as part of the restaurant as well which we didn't have any of because we live in Fremont where there are tons of really good Chinese places so that didn't appeal to us at all.

Wow the portions are huge compared to other L & L locations I've been to. Very pleasant help, clean and wide variety on the menu. I had the mixed plate more than enough for two people. Plate lunch style

Most disgusting food ever. More like Hawaiian dog food. I will never eat at any Hawaiian barbecue. Food is ghetto as hell. I was trying a new place and failed horribly.

Beware ordering by the platter in advance as they are very disorganized and rarely will have your order ready on the time you request despite placing the order a day in advance. This particular visit saw them give our order to the wrong person (luckily the person realized it was not her order and came back to check when we entered) and they did not listen to the directions we gave them to cut the Teri Beef as it was for a party occasion with over 40 people. Truly a fine example in incompetence. Nevertheless, the food is great and after the initial speed bumps we did not encounter any problems
