I was always a big fan when they were in the old location on Main Street. Unfortunately, I think the quality has slipped a bit since they moved here. In addition, the prices seem to have gone up. The new space is very nice but small and parking is a bit trickier. Still a solid place for decent Chinese food.

Apparently Happy China has been in business for 30+ years. They recently moved to the current Hwy 92 location, by Aldi's. I wouldn't travel miles to get here, but if you live in the neighborhood, check 'em out. The hot and sour soup is excellent, everything else 'typical': eggrolls, kung pao shrimp, hunan beef, and rice with soy sauce (passing as fried rice.) The staff is very nice, service was good, and they offer a variety of specials. Not particularly busy during lunchtime, but I did notice some 'regulars' who were warmly greeted.

Delivery was very prompt and food was hot and fresh! Hunan Chicken really had some heat, which was nice. I love that they have brown rice too! Mongolian beef was also great, although heavy on the onions and light on beef a little. We'll be back!

I love this place! We come here for lunch all the time and never been disappointed. My coworker and I try to bring as many coworkers as possible to enjoy the food here. Lunch portions are huge and delicious! It sucks that I live clear across town and can not come here for dinner with my husband.

Happy Happy Happy! Great chinese food in the Woodstock area. Nice new location and as always Mr. Happy is the best. I like their wings and pretty much any entree. Try it out!

We've tried all the Chinese restaurants in the area and this by far is the best one. My husband ordered a chicken dish with a cherry sauce. Wow! The sauce was slightly sweet with an amazing pungent flavor. I ordered the mah po tofu with pork and asked them to fry the tofu instead of steaming it and that was no problem for them. They were very accommodating and their food is as good as any Chinese food I have had in Chinatowns across the country. I will be back soon.

I have been coming here for years and the food has always been the BEST Chinese food in the area! It's always fresh, tasty, and my first option for comfort food. Service is quick and all the servers are attentive. The owner is very friendly and very quickly becomes a neighborhood friend.

Been coming here since 2007. They moved and had to follow them to their new location. Staff is super friendly and food is fresh. The ice tea is also very delicious. The owner always greets every customer with a huge smile on his face. Don't miss out. Love this place.

I stopped in for carryout after driving by the place a few times. The staff was nice enough though I heard them complaining about another customer at the cashier. Service : like I said they seemed nice enough despite hearing them complain about some other customer. The owner was there and made sure to train his young staff member to quickly take my money. I sat down and waited for my carry out. It was done pretty fast though I did not realize It was sitting there on the counter for a solid 10 minutes. I was sitting right there so its not like they didn't see me. No one said anything so I did not know my food was ready. I guess they already had my money so there was less urgency to make sure I got the food. Food : I got the Mongolian beef, it was meh at best. There were some horrible inedible noodle things on top that I had to pick away. It was pretty oily but I guess that is normal for this type of food? I doubt I will go back

I ordered three entrees today, two with fried rice and one with white rice. They forgot an entree and when I called back they said that I didn't place that order. Well, back and forth ended up in them saying they would bring the entree to us. Never showed up. It's after 9pm now. I have only ordered from here twice and the food was really good and they HAD a good reputation. I will NEVER order from this place again! What a bunch of thieves!!!!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
