Four stars for a fast food restaurant for several reasons. 1. The staff was friendly, patient and helpful to us because we do not find ourselves there very often and in that area. 2. The food was super hot and fresh. The fries were crisp and not sitting there for a long time. 3. It was fast 4. The cute kitty that lives outside there was friendly and helpful. 5. The guy at the counter was helpful, patient, and friendly. did already say that? good. It is worth mentioning twice when people do their job with integrity. just an extra note. We tried the fish bites box and it had a nice little spicey zip to it that I did not expect. We really loved the apple pies. They are more like what Mcdonalds used to make before mcdonalds started baking those horrible hockey pucks.

EWWWW! Today my daughter was feeling a bit nostalgic for Checkers so we stopped by for lunch. She ordered the loaded fries which were promptly delivered. The fries were nice to sample but I would not recommend eating more than five. I finally decided that I wanted to get the fish sandwich but quickly changed my mind when I saw the cashier take money, adjust her hair accessory and proceed to touch the food without washing her hands or putting on gloves. Thank God for windows! In addition, as I stood and watched other orders get processed, I assumed that this location is very understaffed because they were very slow to take orders and attend to customers although there was never a line at the drive thru. In this area, just short of 575, there is a plethora of restaurants that allow you to get a quick meal without compromising your health, so don't settle and do explore other options.

I go to Checkers occasionally for fast food, not gourmet cuisine. I waited first on line at the window for 9 minutes during lunch without being acknowledged while cars were being cared for quickly. I finally went to their competitor. I will wave as I pass them by in the future

Checkers is what you expect: crappy food, remedial service, low prices. However this place has a kitty in the parking lot. Its a cute little gray cat that lives in the bushes in front of there. So, if you like to make cat noises and nom nom on fried food, this is a place to be!

When what you seek is a quick meal that's filling and you don't care about what you eat, this is a decent place to come in. I enjoy their fries, even if they are loaded with grease. The sweet tea was clearly not fresh, and should have been dumped out hours before I got it. I ultimately had to pour it out when I got home to eat, simply because it was that bad. I'll come back, but only if I don't have something else I want to eat more.
