Great place to eat if you want good home-cooking! We were spending the night in Tifton on a trip back to Florida. We went here based on Yelp reviews. They were spot on! Nice relaxed atmosphere. Good quality food. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Buffet only. Check it out!

I wish I could give it 10 stars! At around $11 I had a myriad of veggies including lima beans (which were my favorite), carrots, black eyed peas, baked sweet potatoes, cabbage and turnips all seasoned to perfection. The sweet cornbread was melt in your mouth good and I even had fresh fried shrimp and clams. It was better than Red Lobster! It tastes like an authentic home cooked meal unlike chain buffets (Ryans and Golden Corral). It is a little salty like most soul food. The seafood was a Friday special. Thursday is BBQ and there are other themes. I was too full for the salad bar but it looked tasty with fresh ripe tomatoes. They actually sell tomatoes and sweet potatoes and they also have dessert. We stopped by again on our way home from Florida. The Sunday menu was just as good as the Friday one although the meat items were different. Compliments for the fried pork chops and okra. Unfortunately, we got our food to go and at $6.99 per pound, it added up quickly! I'd recommend taking a good 30 to 45 minutes to sit down and really enjoy your meal (and save money). Ole Times is a must if you're headed South. I can't imagine who gave them three stars, maybe the competition.

This is a small time buffet located right off the interstate. Though it is a small chain, it has a small-town atmosphere. You go through the line & order a buffet. They have three buffet lines - one with main food & vegetables, one salad bar, one dessert bar. Their waitresses were very good in keeping our glasses filled. Only complaint is their food score rating was well below par. Overall a good experience. I will recommend if you enjoy country buffets with nothing fancy.

I can't really say I was impressed. Almost everything was fried. Every vegetable had meat in it, unless it was fried. The cornbread dressing was runny. The second batch of Mac n cheese was watered down and the cashier was in a bad mood. They should let her come in after church on Sundays. The food selection was nice. They had plenty to choose from if you eat pork and or meat. There is salad bar too, $10 is a reasonable amount for salad and dessert. I had fried chicken, roast, Mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, dressing, cornbread and peach cobbler. The roast was nice and moist, the fried chicken was tasty, the first batch of Mac n Cheese was very good, the mashed potatoes were good, the cornbread was good and sweet, and the crust of the dressing was good but the inside was not done. My favorite part of the meal was the Peach Cobbler. It was full of the sweetest peaches with a flaky buttery crust. The Sweet Tea was good as well. My friends enjoyed their plates but I could only handle one plate from this establishment. I think the next time I am here I will try the Golden Coral for brekfast/lunch or just run over to Adcock Pecans and do a Richard R. review (Very detailed w pics of the owner and Everything). VIP style. :-)

It was better in the past. Food is not as good as it use to be. Service is typical of a southern chain.

The veggies were plenty and fresh! The fried CKN was so tender it melted in the mouth. Overall 10 out of 10!!

We stopped for lunch while traveling. This is the second Ole Times Country Buffett we have been to. We have really liked both. This stop they had a Wednesday daily special of Chicken & Dumplings. Tasted just like my Aunt use to make! The rest of the Buffett was just as good-tasted home made. The mac&cheese, fried chicken, fried okra, greens, meatloaf with a ketchup / BBQ sauce and so much more. The service was excellent . The young lady checks on everyone regularly ( it was lunchtime so it was busy). The restaurant was clean and they kept the Buffett and salad bar well stocked and wiped off. We would definitely stop here again

Wow. After eating at shoneys, golden corral, and several smaller 'homestyle' or 'southern style' buffets I forgot what good southern cooking was like. Well its here. Everything is fresh made and delicious. Very happy.

I stopped here as I was traveling. It was a great place to get something other than fast food. They have a nice variety of foods. The service was excellent. Everyone was friendly. I'd stop here again for sure.

Would not recommend unless you want an overdose of sodium and butter! The staff was beyond rude and filthy bathrooms. Gross.

If you thought all Ole Times were the same, then you are wrong. I have always had an excellent experience at the Tallahassee and Lake City, Florida locations. However, this location has a more limited selection. Almost all of the items are fried and missing items that I am used to like: Chicken Wings, BBQ Chicken, and Pot Roast. There as an entire tray of fried chicken livers and another heaping tray of chicken gizzards. I do not have a problem with either, but it really limited the selection. The fried pork chops were cold and rubbery. There as also a limited selection of veggies, they did not even have any corn. At least they had okra, and it was delicious. The mac and cheese was also decent, but not what I am used to at Ole Times. It was runny. The salad bar was fresh though. If you are on i-75 and want to stop at Ole Times, I recommend the Lake City location instead.

never disappoints - been coming here off and on for over 5 years and every time I walk out over satisfied - the food is always hot and delicious - their fried pork chops are out of this world and their desert bar is above all I could ask for - peach cobbler is a mainstay and for a good reason - the wait staff is prompt with refills and as friendly as they come - sure there are more ritzy places to eat along 75 and in Tifton for the money but ole times for me is one of my top picks - be sure to stop in and enjoy the wonderful southern buffet

We never miss stopping here when traveling on I-75. Always good country cooking and the best of all the Ole Time Country Buffet locations.

Great food for a great price. We stopped here on our way to Atlanta from Florida and I loved just about everything. I love salt and I think they use a lot of salt in their food. I did not care for the fried okra which is something I dearly love. This okra, for whatever reason, was not very good. But, everything else I had was really good, I hate meatloaf and my daughter got some. She told me I had to try it so I did and I was so surprised! It was really good!! They have a great buffet offering a variety of southern veggies and entrees. The greens beans were flavored just right. The mashed potatoes and gravy were perfect. I had the fried chicken which was super. I also took a fried pork chop which didn't do much for me, It was deep fried and maybe that's why I didn't care for it. Regardless, if I saw a sign for another Ole Tines Country Buffet I would certainly go. I loved it. 4 stars because it's not a 5 star restaurant. The food was really good and the people were really nice but it's simply not 5 stars.

Good solid southern cooking. Great selection of fresh vegetables. Fried chicken is delicious, as is the creamed corn. The buffet is constantly freshened - we arrived 45 minutes before closing and I noticed they checked the food regularly...
