Healthy Meal suggestions for LongHorn Steakhouse

Had dinner here, was just passing through heading south. The waitress was fine, the corn good, but ... This place is known for average steaks - nothing special, reasonable meat, low on gristle. So, to get the most out of the steak, you need to order rare or medium rare. I ordered medium rare. Got medium well. I was in a rush, so ate the steak. Mentioned the problem to the waitress, who told the manager who came over promptly. I told the manager that it was ok. He offered to remake the meal but I was in a rush. The manager instead comped the meal and got me a coffee for the road as well. Now, the manager knows I'll probably never be back since I stopped there "by accident", but did the right thing anyway. It speaks well for this particular restaurant and for the chain that this manager tried his best to right the problem. Kudos!

Had dinner with a 7 person party and their service was top notch! All our food came out perfect and tasted awesome. They have some of the most consistent food and I go out of my way to find them when traveling.

Not a good experience. Tasteless Margaritas and disinterested service. Go to Logan's Roadhouse. The bar is better. The app makes me leave one Star.

Not good at all. The server had a bandaid on her thumb that she touched all of the plates with. The steak was tough even cooked at medium. They need a Texas Road House down here so you can get a good steak!!!

My boyfriend and I stopped here to eat dinner on our way to Atlanta. I read some less than great reviews, but figured this place is a chain so we'd know what to expect. I should have listened to the other yelp reviews. I want to put part of the blame on us for coming in an hour before close, but two people (who are very courteous restaurant patrons) really shouldn't have been a problem for a nearly empty place. Our table was even clean when we were finished. Maybe even cleaner... Which brings me to one of the things that didn't sit well with me, especially since I've worked in the dining industry. When we sat down another family of 4 was leaving the booth across from us. This table remained untouched by the staff nearly the entire 45 minutes we were there. It wasn't busy. No one wants to sit next to a dirty table. Next, the bathroom smelled like death/ass and none of the stall doors would lock correctly. Something else I found strange was that the servers kept going out the front door and then coming back several minutes later. Cigarette break? Phone call break? I have no idea. Didn't seem work related. #managementproblems Also, I don't want to rip on our server. This person was polite. Service could have been better, but nobody is perfect. The food was fine. Nothing earth shattering. I wouldn't go back even if I lived in Tifton though. If you're traveling through like us and looking for a chain or something, maybe go check out the Chilis or Ruby Tuesdays down the road.

Filthy dirty. By the time we were finally being seated, we had a real good look at floors that hadn't been touched all day. Walking over bits of paper, who wants to eat in filth, especially when we could only picture the kitchen we could not see.....we actually told the hostess we did not want to eat where no one cared...

Great shrimp tacos. Very spicy but delicious. Next time I will order steak and a baked potato. Came for a snack not dinner.

The service was terrible, parking inconvenient, most expensive drinks in town (alcohol AND sodas), and dirty! I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food was great, but not worth everything else that comes along with it. For the price, I expected so much better. Don't waste your money!!

When I did an earlier review, I put more or less a tip which s not the same. The restaurant was more or less a typical Longhorn. What I mean is all of the Longhorn restaurants I been in are basically the same restaurant. While the food was enjoyable, the person that took care of the to go orders, wasn't that attentive that night. Just be careful and verify your order!

We've been to Longhorn's before. This one was nicer than most. Our food seemed more fresh and they put more effort into the appearance. The filet is my favorite and it did not disappoint tonight. Our service was fantastic.

I was in Tifton for work and figured Longhorn was something a little "different." Since there aren't a ton of restaurant options, I went to check it out. I ate dinner at the bar. The bartender was very, very nice and super friendly. But the service was just a touch lacking; she seemed like she was in the weeds most of the time and I was usually waiting on something (a water that she said she'd bring, drink refill, my check, etc.). The food service was fine (I had the parmesan chicken sandwich, which was very tasty) and I enjoyed my meal. If I had to pick, however, I'd probably choose going to a Logan's Roadhouse before I'd head back to a Longhorn. I think the value is better, with the food just as good.

Excellent and very clean. Kudos to the staff and the GM Josh. My daughter forgot her doll at the restaurant and when we called they had the doll. The GM actually went to the UPS Store the next day Nd shipped it tomus in Florida!!!! Tell me how many restaurants give you excellent food, service, and human compassion? Great experience!

Food was as expected. Young wait staff was pleasant, but poorly trained. We ate early, so it wasn't very busy. The girls were attentive, bringing plenty of bread, water, timely dishes - they just NEVER removed anything. There were 5 of us at the table, so all those plates/glasses/baskets really piled up. We finally started moving all the used stuff to an empty table....it looked ridiculous, but wasn't cleaned either until we had finished the meal. Other than that weird service abberation, it was just what you'd expect of any Longhorn.

Was unhappy with the crowd, but this location is near the interstate. The staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable. They were out of all the popular wine choices, but they just recently began serving alcohol last year and it was just after the holidays. The entree was a little slow in arriving, but again It was crowded. The meal was very good and left feeling satisfied. The cost is nominal for the fare. Would have downgraded the rating for the shortcomings, but feel they had reason and hope my next visit will be better.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! The waitress spilled honey mustard (which is beyond gross) all over my mom's chicken fingers and fries and then when my mom complained she just kinda laughed and shrugged it off... NEVER offered to replace it. Did offer to throw away the chicken that had the sauce on it. There was maybe 5 chicken stripes... 4 had the nasty sauce on them and half the fries had it too. Really? You couldn't fix that? Complained to the GENERAL MANAGER and he just shrugs it off as well. We paid alot of money for that CRAP and it WILL NEVER BE BACK. Hire some people with sense. Manager should NOT be the GENERAL MANAGER if he can't train his staff and fix the problem. No one should have to pay for food they can't eat when the WAITRESS did it. She even told us she was the one who spilled it. The baked potato I had obviously had been sitting out for hours, it was so gross I couldn't eat it. Very disappointing for a darden restaurant. I worked at one, I know you should NEVER be treated like that and the Darden brand should be ashamed.
