The only thing this place is good for is a large eating/drinking venue in the Suwanee/Duluth area. We've come here a few times for Happy Hour because other options in the area are too small to house larger groups. Happy hour specials include a couple of apps on special: pints of fries, cheesy bites, wings, the like. My coworkers like the wings but every thing I've had here has been underwhelming. It leaves me wondering why I wasted the calories on food, not drinks! Speaking of drinks, they have lots of beer taps, probably 40 or so, including quite a few local brews (Sweetwater, Monday Night Brewing, and I believe I've seen Three Taverns there before). But....they don't have a beer list! They have a limited list on the back of their menu showing brands like Bud, Blue Moon, Laguintas. They DO have local stuff but go ahead and check out the taps for yourself. When I recently asked my server what local brews were on tap she responded, "You mean like Bud Light?" Which leads me to the service, which is extremely hit or miss, more miss than hit. I get it, the girls are pretty much the main attraction here. But they always seem WAY overstaffed, such that the servers look bored. On my last visit they could be seen sitting on the bench at the entrance chatting with some dude (we waited a good 2 minutes before they noticed we were there for a table), sitting at the bar, sitting at tables talking with patrons, and one server taking to a lollipop while chatting up a patron. (Stopping here to say: there is a way to make this concept decently classy. So that both men and women can enjoy coming to the restaurant without making it feel like it's all about SEX. This location does not succeed. You've been warned). Since all of the servers (exception: bartender who was working her butt off) were lingering, that only leads me to think they are overstaffed .The overstaffing makes it seem like even more of a meat market than it would be normally. And despite the servers having seemingly little to do, each time I've been here the table has been left unattended, with water & soda glasses sitting empty for some time, wanting to order food but server never stops by, etc. This is an OK spot to grab drinks after work, but be prepared for a long & lazy experience and mediocre food. Mentally prepare yourself for the 3 or 4 dudes that ask to be seated against the wall and facing the interior of the restaurant so they get a full view of the restaurant. Wonder why. Just seeing some of that is enough to make me not want to return.

This place is a piece of trash... Stood up front for 5 minutes waiting to be seated, bartender told us to seat ourselves. Waited another 5 minutes, still no service so we walked out. Manager made eye contact and watched us sit there with no service. Lazy females working as servers

Typical bar food, that was better then expected. Everything else you'd expect here too. Was impressed with the tap selection. Not being from the area and staying in Norcross this was the first place I found with decent beer around

Service is very good! Food is very good. Plenty of TVs for watching your favorite sporting events. Full bar. Plan for a huge slowdown during an MMA or other event night.

Everytime I go here they greet me with a smile. The staff is very fun friendly and courteous. The food is is actually pretty good, I usually get the Tilted Kilt wings they are moderately seasoned and moderately spicy. They have a large variety and selection of beers my beer of choice at this location is the Sweetwater IPA. Boy do I love beer.

Pretty much what you'd expect from this place from the get-go. Normal bar selection, generic tasting bar food, and of course very slow, terrible service. That being said, I did enjoy the visit, but mainly due to the patio area outside. Went on a beautiful day and was able to enjoy the sunshine. Don't recommend the place, but I know that this place kind of raises the curiosity of any guy, so I'd say its worth one visit.

Our expectations were low to begin with. The food was decent but the service was TERRIBLE. The worst part was that we asked 4 people if we could pay our bill and THEN I had to stand at the front until someone could help me. I was thisclose to executing my first dine and dash. My husband is pissed that I still left a tip. Manager was no where to be found and obviously of no help to her staff. Never again, Tilted Kilt.

First time coming here and heard good things about Tilted Kilt. Went on Saturday and was expecting the place to packed, especially since it was a big game night. We walked in and it was empty. Service: The service was horrible. We sat down and ordered a round of beers. We asked what their Sam Adams seasonal was and our waitress said she doesn't know and didn't even offer to go check for us. She was nice but clueless and she barely came around to ask how we were doing or if we needed anything. Food: We first ordered some beers. The beer I got was skunky and warm. It was not good. The food was decent, nothing special. Slightly overpriced for what it was. Chicken fingers and a flat bread pizza. Atmosphere: The atmosphere was nothing special either. The menus and tables were dirty. Overall: I would give this place a 1.5/5. I probably never go back to this one or any tilted kilt. This place kind of ruined the experience. Corporate needs to come in and revamp or close down.

I went here for first time today for lunch. Greeting was awkward with hostess welcoming us to the restaurant and a server interrupting her complaining that she didn't want to take care of us. She did anyway but had an attitude the entire time. She even sat down at the table to write our order down on a ripped piece of another receipt. When our food came out, my sandwich was dry, bread cold, fries greasy and soggy. Seemed as if they were fried in 200degree oil. Gross. The server never refilled any of our drinks the entire time and even came tongue table to ask if we noticed her hair had been straightened in the bathroom while we were eating. What a brain dead narcissistic bimbo. I'll only go back to sit at the bar and watch a game, maybe.

I've never been greeted by so many "bosoms" in my life. I inquired if the guys were required to show any body parts for us female patrons and all I got was a blank, giggly stare. Can't stand "restaurant chains" that exploit females (BTW I'm not a feminist either). The food was below average but the service was great. The waitress (older) was explaining why she "had" to work there. I did ask the bus boy if he could lift his kilt so I could see more leg. Some corporate platinum blonde kept walking the place and would stare but never came by to inquire as to the experience (BTW she was fully clothed). The manager did come by and asked how things were. Told the truth regarding the below average food to which he seemed disinterested. No "I'm sorry we didn't live up to your expectations...., "please give us another try", Nothing. Witnessed lots of male gawkers/geezers who were obviously amused with the sight of so many bosoms and one waitress sat down with 2 male patrons which I thought was very creepy. I later found out this was very much accepted to "socialize" with the customers. Gee I thought it was unprofessional to sit down with restaurant guests while one is on the "job". Ladies do whatever you have to so as not to be exploited by this chain. Work on your self-esteem, education etc. You're so much more than exposed body parts. No excuses. As I was leaving, a male patron with a take out said "I'd never let my daughter work here." To which I said "all those girls in there are somebody's daughter". We high 5'ed.

We went after work and our server Erin was awesome. She brought our drinks and food fast.. The food was excellent and Erin was cheerful, friendly, always smiling. This was the first time we had met her and she made us feel like old friends. Erin is an asset to this franchise and we will definitely return to see her , enjoy her service and food recommendations! The food was hot and delicious! Can't wait to come back. I give my highest recommendation!

I once overheard a sales pitch where a man was trying to start a sports bar franchise to compete with Hooters. He wanted to name it "Booties." "The Tilted Kilt" isn't as direct as "Booties" or "Hooters," but you get the idea. This place is one of the only bars in the Exit 109 area and it gets a sizable crowd of patrons. I haven't had too many items off the menu, but all the things I have ordered were just mediocre-at-best. The best option is probably the wings. They're crisp and flavored well but they're also slightly over-priced. No other food items really stand out though. The fries might be worth getting, especially during happy hour when you get a bunch for $2-3, but even then, sometimes they come out too salty. The service is OK. The waitresses usually seem rushed or annoyed that they're there. I never wait too long for service, so that's a plus. I've gone to this place about 3-4 times because it's convenient, but convenience is the only thing that's gunning for them so far. This place could be bumped up to three stars with friendlier service, and consistency in the quality of food.

Since new management took over a year or so ago, the food has slowly declined and unless you get the girls who have been there for a couple years (Ashley, Lindsey, Veronica, Kim (bartender)) you are going to get crappy service. Managers and owners don't care either. We go weekly for trivia because we love the MC. During the fall last year we went less because the service was so bad; however, it's gotten better since then. Not amazing service or amazing food. Good enough.

Service was great, Caroline was excellent. If you decide to visit this location ask for her. She's a sweet southern belle with a fiery personality.

I'm surprised that this place has a low rating bc I'm having such a terrific experience here! My boyfriend and I came here to watch the football game and were delighted at the amount of flat screens that is available to watch game on, the cherry on the top is that they don't music playing so we can clearly hear the game with no interruption! I really don't like to watch a game where the volume is muted and you can't hear the commentaries of the game. The nacho salad here is the Best I've had in Duluth!!! The wings deliciously done and the drinks were really good! The only reason don't give a rating of 5 stars is bc I ate in the patio area so I didn't experience the inside of the restaurant.

This is what I said to my friend when I tasted the food. Dude this is freaking delicious!Yea I said it .I would recommend this place to anyone who is tired of Applebee's or Chili's.

Went for a little saturday night drink and some bar food... The beautiful asian hostess was nice and our beautiful waitress Melina did a great job. She was attentive and loved to start conversation with us making us feel comfortable and relatable . Even my wife was glad we went there. Haha maybe well head there again tomorrow lol or maybe ever other every week haha for football the service the waitresses and the food :) can wait to get back there thanks tilted kilt team :)

The Manager/Gm is the worst I have ever seen. The bartender was great. The food was good. I don't understand how a manager speaks to someone sarcastically and thinks customers don't see this. That alone is a reason not to come back. I have never experienced this at the mall of Ga location. I don't suggest going here while the GM is working. I'd definitely ask at the door and if so take a trip a few miles down the road. The manager name is ROD. Below average manager. The management make the overall score horrible.

I won't get take out again & probably won't ever eat there again. The pretzels were very hard & inedible & the beer cheese was just okay. The fish & chips were okay, but they give you 2 pieces and the online photo shows 3. I paid $2 extra to sub the fries with garlic fries. What a rip off. $2 for a tiny bit of garlic & barely visible parm cheese. Not impressed at all, but I guess it's not about the food there is it???

Great place for a fight night. Also remember to take advantage of the happy hours after 9 if you're watching the fight. Make sure to ask for it if they dont suggest it!. Great deal for apps and a ton of beer on tap

Last night was the absolute WORST night to be at your establishment. I understand you were busy and I expected you to be, but the female manager that was there was extremely rude and our waitress "LEXI" pretty much ignored us the entire time. She forgot one of my friend's orders and had to retake it..it took her an hour and a half to bring the food out to him, after we had to mention it to the male manager on duty. She forgot our appetizers and after an hour of waiting came up to us and said: : Oh you didn't see me standing around holding the food asking who it belonged to"..to make matters even worse we only ordered appetizers and drinks due to the disrespect of the female manager, and after complaining never got a single refill on our drinks until the male manager stopped by again...we wasted $20 for the cover charge, which wouldn't have been a waste had we received better service...we have visited this location before and been treated with respect and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves...last night I felt completely the opposite...disrespected...ignored...and ripped off. It's sad that things went this way and I strongly recommend that you do better with the next big event OR just don't promote it... you guys dropped the bomb big time...smh

Food is terrible. Service is typically pretty bad. Absolutely do not sit in the patio as it hasn't Bern cleaned since this place was opened it would seem. Desperately in need of a pressure washing, simply gross. Beer is good...

The service was worse than the food and the food was horrible. I've been here twice and both times I said to myself, "never again". This time I mean it. If boobs were brains we might have been able to get our check when we were ready to go.

One thing about places like this reminds me that when it gets down to the detail after a half century on this world is, well, I'm here to have a good meal with good service. Yeah the idea is cool, have young girls in tight shirts and push up bras along with high and tight kilts, but it's cool if your under 30 considering 99% of the staff could be my "very" young daughters. So the atmosphere will be great for the 20 something and just odd if you are my age or older panting and slobbering on yourself over a 19 year old young woman. Service, well the young woman who was our server was spot on. Frankly, I think she was so good that she could go professional at a Bones type restaurant establishment in a few years. She was mature and professional. She read our group of old goats well and treated us accordingly. The deductions was the food. All around from my burnt Black Bean Burger that had to come out of a discount quality box to the grease dripping over cheesed chicken sandwiches and limp lettuce salads. In short this is a pub for dudes having a good time at the bar. Nothing wrong with that but in my case if I want to just have a bar day I will hit the Legion Hall or VFW. Beer is cheap there and discussions will have a lot more in common.

When it comes to late night hang outs on weekdays it's between hooters or this. TK is my place of choice. Both places close at 12 but I've never been rushed out and the manager will tell us to take our time. Sometimes he will even offer free shots. For attire that the girls wear TK's is better than the tacky get up the hooters chicks wear as well. I do think hooters has better looking chicks but its mainly because their attire hides the stretch marks and guts that you can see some of the Tk girls having which can be the down fall of the Tk attire. This particular location has some girls from the local high school down the road. This is a good and bad thing...the girls are young hot and fresh but then I feel like a dirty old man....the girl's personalities are pretty much the same at both where if you are with a group of guys then they will flirt an hustle for a bigger tip. But if you have lady friends with you they tend to just drop take your order drop off your stuff and disappear. There is better food and a wider selection at Tk as well. I usually order the wings fried/grilled (Pittsburg style) and get both the kilt and burner sauces together. Order your fav beer and you have a good night ahead of ya. And for you sports fans they have every game and every sport/fight whenever you need it!

Oh I don't like this TK location for so many reasons but here are 3: ~ Service: 20 minutes after being seated, still no server came around. It was a table of 6... not that hard to miss. It wasn't even busy... ~ Food is just ok... nothing special but let's be real most people don't come here for the food haha ~ Apparently this location is home to the Steelers fan club?

  • Sara K.

Although the food here is far better than the average bar... I can't say the same about the service. Like numerous of the reviews already stated, the servers definitely rely on their looks to get tips. With all that being said you can still come here to get some good bar food! I would recommend the tilted buffalo pizza and the wings. You might not have your drink filled to wash it all down tho

    (3)
  • Christopher M.

Not trying to shred this place's reputation, but sat at the bar and hardly got served. Food took forever on a night that wasn't busy at all and the bartender could've have checked on us less. I've gone twice before I decided to post a review to be fair and make sure it was consistently bad.

Staff is friendly enough, and the drinks and food are good. But this place is very poorly managed. The waitstaff seems to take a very long break all at the same time. I mean there is NOBODY out helping customers... starting right around 4:30-5:00. Maybe its shift change or something.. .but the point is the service is bad on a regular basis.

I'd never heard of Tilted kilt, so when two classmates and I stopped in for lunch, trying to figure the Suwanee area out, we opened the doors and, well, this ain't the bbq place we thought it would be! To start off, i'm giving this a conditional 3 stars...based on food alone, it would get 2 stars. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. There was far too much bread on this sandwich and they also came out with regular fries. When I mentioned I ordered sweet potato fries, they brought them out, not very warm, and charged me $2 extra for them. I don't know if this was a typical fee or not, but they sure didn't mention it. Both varieties of fries and the sandwich were simply "okay", and not at all worth writing about. A classmate of mine got a philly cheese steak but mentioned there was not enough cheese and steak for his liking. So where do I pull out the extra star? No, it had nothing to do with the micro skirts on the servers. In fact, it was our server Tish, who got the kilt an extra star. VERY friendly lady who always stopped by to check on us, have general conversation with us and keep our table laughing. Customer service goes a long way. Lunch time was packed on a Friday, mostly with men, other than the girl who came to lunch with us, but per our server's advice for something quick and good, wings and wraps will get you out of there in under 45 minutes. Each entree was under $10 (except mine, due to the sweet potato charge).

This place is horrible! Service is horrible. Appetizer was cold, meal was cold, and soft drinks were flat. I asked to please remake my freezing cold wings and it took over an hour. This place blows. Will never ever go again.

  • Mitch H.

Its all about the wait staff and they are trying to live just on looks cause service ain't gonna happen. Then you get your food that is to say the least not going to make you think of this place for something to eat. My guess is in 6 months this place will suffer the same as the Johns Creek location and just close up

This review is not based on a single visit to this location, but maybe 20 - 30 over the course of the last year. I get the fact we can all have one bad experience at a restaurant, but the reason for the post is because the poor experience was repeated again, and again. I have continued to give them second chances to redeem themselves but finally decided the location is beyond saving. The girls that work here are generally friendly, but definitely require management / monitoring. That's where this establishment falls apart. The two oafish male managers that run this location (when I have been there) do a horrible job of ensuring patrons receive good service and would rather drool over the waitresses as if they were at a strip club. You will either be harassed at the front door by 10 lingering waitresses as you enter, or (more likely) sit at a table for 20 minutes waiting for less than great service. Strangely, the number of waitresses standing at the front door bears no correlation to how busy the restaurant is... one would have thought if they were busy the servers would be engaged, well, serving! It's hit or miss as what the atmosphere is going to be like... either a dance club with blaring music making conversation impossible, or a soulless establishment where the staff / management are more interested with interacting with each other rather than patrons. The food is decent, and bottled beer is OK, but the draft will leave you with a headache as the do not seem to clean / maintain their lines. Overall, pass on this place until management is changed. I'm a fan of the TK franchise as a whole and was indeed thrilled when one opened much closer to home... just not a fan of this location.

Wack service...decent pub food. Girls try to hustle me for drinks...makes me feel uneasy and like im at a stripclub. Alot of old horny men here. They know how to pour a guinness the correct way.

On my very first visit to Tilted Kilt ever I was appalled at what happened when I walked through the door. One of the bartenders, whose name I found out immediately after is Jessica, yelled at one of the patrons that he isn't welcome there. Jessica told one of the guys who walked in ahead of me that he needed to eat somewhere else followed by a slur of profanity. That instantly made up my mind about Tilted Kilt Suwanee. If they can't be professional and courteous (well at least not loudly dropping F-Bombs when kids are within earshot) then I want no part of it. Management - Please take note.

This place is interesting to say the very least. I went here on a mid-afternoon lunch date with my guy at the time, and had to endure having the server chick's tits in his face... our face. I mean, they were sitting painfully high and spilling all the way out. I'd never been here so I didn't know to expect that. The food was SUPERB, though. I had a fried chicken plate with mashed potatoes, veggies and sweet tea. I noticed the other servers serving tits to other gentlemen patrons in the establishment who came there alone. Again, very interesting to say the least. I thought Hooters had the tit-serving market on lock but clearly I was wrong. But you know now that I think of that fried chicken plate I'd totally go back, just not with a guy I was serious about.

It was late and it was my Birthday weekend! Let's see this place is open until 2am and they have beer. Plus I didn't win the $600 million Powerball so...let's go I need a drink! So service was great no problems there. The food and drinks were good. I really wanted to try the wings but then The Fiance ended up getting them first. (This is why communication is key...and hold on why are you ordering before me?) So he got the TK Signature Wings with a basket of fries and I ended up with the chicken tenders basket same sauce. Think Zaxby's Sweet and Spicy sauce just a little sweeter. For drinks I had the Cinn-A-Moon and he had the Lynchburg Lemonde. The Cinn-A-Moon consisted of a Blue Moon beer with Cinnamon Whiskey lime sour and cranberry juice. I was happy with my drink because you could taste the cinnamon with the beer. Unique flavor but it worked for me. Now the food was good the strips were fried perfectly but I deducted 1 because I did not receive ranch dressing. I know the basket comes with ranch but I guess if it's dipped in sauce no ranch for you. Booo! They could have at least asked. I just took his ranch because he doesn't need it. Also, the coleslaw was room temperature and that scared me. I instanly started thinking to myself as I ate it...humm it's midnight how long has this coleslaw been out? Oh well I didn't get sick and I ate it all. I'm greedy. Also, apparently you can smoke out on the deck area. That's good for the smokers but why leave the door open so the smoke can come inside the building. That's why there was another deduction I didn't feel like smelling smoke that night. Sorry. Watching the UFC fight was fun and we also watched a little bit of my favorite movie 'Live Free, Die Hard'. It came on after the fight. LOL!

This place is like a fancy Hooters. Servers dressed in scantly clad clothing. Not that I am complaining of course. The food is moderately priced. i just went for a few drinks. The service is good. I went on a Saturday evening and it was pretty slow. Might have been cause it was raining all day. This place has tons of TV's everywhere. Chances are you'll be able to watch any game you want here. If you're looking for a decent sports grill type of place, Id say check this place out. Again, it is similar to a Hooters in the aspect of the girls are dressed provacatively

The food is total crap and a waste of money!! We had the Shepard's Pie and Fish and Chips! The Shepard's Pie tasted like it was out of a can and the Fish and Chips was very greasy. Neither dish had any flavor. This place was an extreme disappointment! Save your money and go elsewhere!

Fun place to stop into on a Friday afternoon for a pint and to have my husband enjoy the eye candy just to point out that it is closer to our daughter's age than his. Poor honey! Food was typical pub fare which was fine for me. Our waitresses (whose name I wish I could remember)was the best part of the visit. Loved her enthusiasm and knowledge.

  • FoodSnob D.

Ok the food was actually decent... the service was BAAAAADDDD! When I walked in I seen girls that look like just hit puberty 5 minutes ago with push up bras and boob jobs and little skirts. That fine but damn...... most of these babies looked barely legal. My waitress was very disappointed I was a female. Little did she know Im a great tipper so she ruined her opportunity for next week's lunch money. I ordered lemon pepper wings... and they had the NERVE to charge me $1.00 extra for lemon pepper.. lol who does that? The battered onion rings were good as well as the meatloaf sandwich. My main gripe is the service.. I will be going back, and best believe I will put one of these little girls in check and call their parents if my service is bad again....SMH

Jess and Kim are the best bartenders in the history of the known universe. They have the ability to transcend the normal conventions of work-a-day life to provide a experience one would expect only in the finest pubs in London or other European capitals. 5 stars does not do justice to the exquisite service experienced here.

I love this TK. It's perfect for groups, happy hour , girls night out, game night etc. We have been here so many times never disappointed . Great staff , great food and great price. Pros : clean , location, staff , management , food , price Cons: hmmmm can't think of anything We went there for a birthday party excellent service and cooincidebtly they had a Karaoke Night ....awesome night. Wings are great as well. Great variety of beer on Tap ... Do try it. Like them on FB so you get updates on events and special. Must Try....

These are always a sausage fest. I guess you have to expect that but somehow I always hope there will be lots of hot chicks here. Not so. We did not eat but had a couple of beers. Nothing big. Our waitress was attentive enough. I don't know why I come into this place expecting much. We need a Twin Peaks here on the East Coast.

This place has gone down hill. The staff started out a friendly and attentive bunch and it has declined drastically. My last visit to the Tilted Kilt in Suwanee was a very brief one. I walked in with two colleagues of mine to meet one of their friends. The friend was sitting at the bar so we joined him. I had not even gotten in my seat yet when Jessica who is a bartender who has a history of lashing out a clients, did the same to me. This was the second incident with her and the first one was reported to management. I left with my colleagues and was a bit embarrassed because of the situation. I contacted the owners of the Suwanee location and also reached out to corporate. As far as I can tell, nothing has been done. I waited several months to leave this review because I was giving Tilted Kilt a chance to at least apologize for the situation. They have not contacted me to do so.

The manager was not available when needed and when asked to change the sound to the game that was on the big screen, the manager said to go outside since the sound was there and did not want to change the 80's music that was playing through out the place. This place is not a true English pub rather a jukebox music place.

Waited for 20 min for a server to come to out table and no one showed up to even ask for our drinks. About 5 waitress stood about 10 feet from our table and never would come over. I tried to wave them down but they never came to our table. Saw the table next to us get up ask for silverware and no one came back. They had to walk over to where the waitress were standing and reach over them to get their own silverware. The waitress wouldnt even move while the guy had to get his own silverware. If the staff is managed that bad there is no telling how bad the kitchen is. I wont be coming back.
