So we arrive and want to sit out on the patio and every table was dirty, so we decided to go back in. Sat down at the table inside and it still had food crumbs on it.......Soooooo, after all this was quickly taken care of and waiter right there after...What can I say, food was on point, spinach dip was sdifferent but very good and the pizza still good...Would definatly go back.. A little pricey but would go back..

Awesome pizza & great service. This is a relatively new location with nice decor and tableside service.

I like this place a lot. They offer the same tasty, doughy, chock-full-of-ingredients pies as the other MMs (except the Cumming one). One difference: CHOCK full o' noisy kids. Not that I'm against families eating out, mind you, as I have been through early parenthood, including soccer, wrestling, and Scouting, too. This place does a good job of serving good food to the milling maelstrom. My preference is to come here at 5:00pm for quiet enjoyment and leave the good times to the future taxpayers. Oh, and I really do enjoy the old hippie vibe in the MMs at St. Ives and Decatur more than the showier one here.

The food is great, but the service wasn't so great. I recently went to this mellow mushroom and was a little surprised by the environment and service. I walked in and noticed it was very crowded with no one at the front to help you. The front desk people were cleaning tables as if there weren't enough waiters. After about 5 minutes I was told where to go to get my pick up order. I was unsure who to inquire about my order, so I asked the woman behind the counter. She told me another person would be with me. She could at least said welcome to our restaurant or I will be more than willing to look at your order. She looked at her computer the whole time and didn't even make eye contact with me. After the young man came back with my order I left. For such a nice restaurant with great food, I was highly disappointed in the service. What a shame.

Seriously disappointed from a Mellow Mushroom fan. Service was just ok. Chick at the bar was not very friendly or pleasant to be around. Draft beer was served in a plastic pint glass. WTF? You cant expect to keep beer cold in a plastic cup. We ordered the artichoke dip and it was actually quite good, it turned out to be the highlight of the night. Our pizza order came back wrong. We ordered the house pizza with no olives and add jalapenos. In fact when we ordered we said whatever you do dont put olives on it and we'll be good. Sure enough we get olives on the pizza. They, without question put in a replacement order for the correct pizza and let us keep the wrong pizza free of charge. We picked off the olives and ate a mediocre, disappointing pizza. The replacement pizza came and was also wrong. We will be sticking with Johnny's pizza @ MCG and PIB. Sigh.

We visited on a Friday evening and it was pretty busy. The park next door had entertainment, and parking was also hard to come by (although I lucked out across the street). Service was, at best, average. Although he was friendly, the service was slow; the hosts seated the entire patio all at once, so the guy was slammed and didn't get much support from anyone else to help out. The food was what we expected, and the gluten free pizza was gluten free. :) There didn't seem to be any contamination issues with it; the member of our party with Celiac is very sensitive to it, and didn't have any reaction.

by far one of the Better MM's & I'm very lucky to have in my town. first off it's located in Suwanee town center! which is a plus, I love the shopping center. it tends to have a good selection of restaurants. Mellow mushroom is one of them. Interior is awesome! Talk about a throw back full of fun! The awesome characters, photos and decorations through out the restaurant give it a welcoming vibe not to mention a "cool" touch. They have both booths and tables. & a patio section if the day is nice. :) the booths are comfortable. Next the menu is awesome. They've been revamping it lately-they're trying out burgers! The service is always always great! :) and the food is delicious. The crust on the pizza is my favorite! I could eat just the crust.- my hips my not like that but my mouth would! The also have a bar with a great selection of beverages! They serve numerous beers on tap which is always a good thing! This location has events like karaoke or trivia on certain days. Be sure to check online! :) & sign up for their rewards program. If you're looking for a laid back restaurant that is fun any day of the week and yummy- try this mellow mushroom. You won't be disappointed.

MM has been around since I was a kid and im certainly not a kid anymore. And over the years it has been without a doubt the most consistently good pizza I've ever had. We love love love MM anywhere there is one located. If you like real pizza and not ketchup smeared on greasy soda crackers (Im looking at you Pizza Hut). Then try MM.

Have been a long time fan of the Mellow and think that this location is a winner. The thing that separates Mellow Mushroom form the other pizza establishments is the unique menu and toppings you can expect on your pizza. My personal favorite are the Portobello sandwich and the calzone. The people here are friendly and seating is comfortable for the family.

Their "Large" salad is more like small. I got the Enlightened Spinach Salad, so I guess it's okay since you wouldn't want to eat a TON of Spinach--it's diff. than lettuce. I'm just confused. It's overpriced just because of the location. Compare the menus for the different locations around Metro-Atlanta and you will see what I'm saying is fact. Anyway I left hungry and proceeded to Walmart nearby where I bought junk food. I liked the atmosphere and the server was great. The garlic bread was like something a 5 year old could have made--not on point.

Love it here. Love the location. Food is always great, no complaints there. Never really had any problems but some of the waiters seem a little out of it. Indoor or outdoor seating. All the pizzas I've tried have been delicious. It would be nice if you could purchase by the slice only for lunch and dinner. My toddler loves it and most of the time it is a kid friendly environment.

This MM location delivers consistently good 'za, cold beers, and a relaxed, family-friendly vibe. Nice little patio and friendly service. Bonus points for a great spot on a corner at Suwanee Town Center, across from the park, splash pad, and city events.

I came here for my 2nd time last week to catch the Hawks game on TV and indulge in some pizza pie. I must say that I was more impressed with the pie this time then last. Here are the factors that set this pie apart from some of the others in the area like Suwanee Pizza Tavern. Firstly, I like that they put Hardwood smoked, seemingly high quality bacon on their House Special. Second, I do like the buttery crust, its a thicker breed of crust, but it plays well with the terraine of the pie. Third, they use high quality onions. Sweet ones. I normally do not care for plain white onions (I cook and prefer red onions), but these are a cut above the norm. Service is good. I wish TVs were a tad larger, but there are enough around to ensure you have a view of whatever is on. Beer list is fairly extensive with about I would guess 12 drafts, and likely 20-25 bottles. I like that Sweetwater 420 is $4.50 a pint. I always gauge Sweetwater pints as a benchmark, and this place has pints under $5 which I feel is fitting for a Georgia pizza chain. I'll come back more often when in the area.

This place is small so get here before the usual rush times. It's empty at 3:00 on a Sunday. I've had several of their pizzas and they've been good. The Calzones are good and the Hoagies are good too. I've had the Turkey & Swiss on French bread a few times and it's really good! If you're looking for the stoner appeal of the old Mellow Mushrooms you will not find it here. Yeah you see 420 plastered all over the place but the Hippie vibe is severely lacking! I used to love that part of it but hey, the food is really good and I always eat here with good company so who cares!

This place is great for their eclectic atmosphere and GF options. Love how they keep the sides in the back separate for the sensitive customers. And their decor and music is off the chain fun. Great location for families as you can walk outside and BOOM at Suwanee Town Center with a big grass area and ground fountains (dog friendly area as well).

Was in for lunch on a Saturday and it was great. We were recognized and seated immediately upon walking in. Server arrived at our table very quickly and was very professional and friendly. Pizza arrived amazingly fast, and was one of the better MM pizzas I've had in a while. Server checked on us just enough, but not too much. Very impressed and will be back.

After venturing out into the cold, we decided to go to our local MM for a quick dinner. Requested a booth and was told none were avail, although there was one clearly empty and clean. Then I order a pizza with Italian Sausage and Ricotta cheese, which was clearly missing the ricotta, despite the cooks claiming that it was cooked into the pizza. When they redid the pizza, it was loaded with excessive ricotta...I guess their way a proving that it was on there this time. Recent visit to MM in Buckhead was done perfectly....so much for consistency. Clearly, not about service at this location...never coming back!

We absolutely LOVE this pizza place. The theme is a fun stoned mushroom. Who can't love that?? The pizza is surprisingly great for a franchise. They have some local beers. I dunno, we just like everything about it. This location is fun because its in the Suwanee Town Center. There is a big green space for playing with the kids or your dog. There are some neat little shops to wander around in. There are some fun events throughout the year. Check it out if you haven't been here, I think you'll dig it the most. Decent lunch specials too!

I had one of the best pizzas I think I may have ever had last night. The House Special was recommended to us after we said we liked traditional pizza types. I say, we could not have done any better. This one was really good. We got the large which was 8 slices and there were 3 of us. 2.5 slices for me filled me up. The service was friendly and attentive. Albeit small, they have a nice little selection of craft beers. It was a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere right in Town Center Square. If they keep serving pies like this, I will be back again for more!

My experience here was sub-par to those of other MMs. We came for a weekday lunch. I ordered the lunch special, a salad and a slice + soda for $7.50. I "upgraded" from a tossed salad to a caesar and my salad was literally swimming in sauce. Even my tablemates noticed that there was far too much dressing. My slice of cheese tasted like it had been out of the oven for a while. Some of the cheese had hardened (!). Even the crust (the best part of MM pizza, duh) just wasn't up to snuff. Service was fine, and it was fairly busy for a lunch crowd. But with lots of other lunch choices in this area, this MM location won't be getting my business again anytime soon.

Ya can't keep a good Shroom down. My last review of this location was a tough one to write but I knew it was a fluke. Me and the kids went back last weekend and what a great experience. If I didn't know better I'd have thought they saw me coming. Service was awesome and our pie was better than ususal.

I somehow managed to take on the duty of babysitting one of my nephews one night. I was supposed to stay at the house with one, while my sis took the other one to baseball practice. Well, that manipulative POS told me I need to take the kid to practice (I just wanted to stay in, I was still hungover from the night before at the Royal Oak). I love all of my nephews, and knew I wouldn't have many chances to see him before I moved. So on we went. Since we had not eaten yet, I droppe him off, then told him I would go pick us up some food. He was excited and wanted pizza. I remembered of the MM near City Hall (as practice was only 2 miles down the road). So I figured I would sit down, grab a drink, and some food, and bring his pizza to him. When I got there, the place was pretty mobbed. I ended up sitting at a spot at the bar. For my fat ass, it was a tight squeeze. I felt bad for the guy next to me. Other than that, the place looked like one of the nicer MMs I have been in. It took a few minutes before I got acknowledged (they were pretty busy), and my mouth was watering at this point. Since I had a time constraint, I thought a meatball sub and a small pepperoni pizza would be easy enough for a quick in and out. The bartender was on the younger side (at least he looked young)- and said he was from Brazil. Very friendly. That was a plus. In fact, when I realized how nice he was, I decided to up the review based solely on him (even with the slow start). Believe it or not, the pizza was ready before the sub. The sub took about 30 minutes- by that time, I needed to get it to go. In the end though I got back to the batting cages just in time. The sub was decent- but a little on the pricey side for $10 for 4-5 meatballs. My nephew loved his pizza. Aside from the cramped bar and the long wait on the food, this place was decent. It's in a great location and awesome for the city of Suwanee, I just need to pick a better time to go (I arrived around 7:40 on a Wed. night). At least it put a smile on the kid's face!

Loved this place and went there offer but they have gotten skimpy on their portions. Used to get huge slices for lunch, now they look like kid sized servings. Very disappointing and I won't be back.

This place is awesome. Mellow Mushroom has some of the best pizza in Gwinnett. Located right in the heart of Suwanee at Suwanee Town Center. They have trivia nights on Tuesday nights @ 7! (We won tonight!!!!) Prices are fairly good and so is the service. The only hit is it took about 25 minutes to get seated because the place is fairly small.

  • Tina T.

This one star is not for the pizza, the food.... it's for the hoooooorrrrrrible service we got. Literally I almost wanted to leave a negative amount of tip because it was just that bad. No one came to refill our drinks once, or even look at us after someone finally came to take our order after 15 minutes. We could've walked out 10 times because no one would come to even let us pay.

This Mellow Mushroom has done a great job so far. Located at the Suwannee town center this Mellow Mushroom is hard to miss with its prominent sign . The interior is covered with what can best be described as a "weird Psychedelic hallucination". The space itself is not very big resulting in a bit of a cramped feeling. A common lunch spot for my co-workers and other professionals in the area the mellow mushroom dose get a bit crowed but never packed. On the other had if there is even the most insignificant event at the town center all hell breaks loose and it will be packed. If one is eating lunch alone then I suggest getting a hoagie. I do need to warn you that the hoagies do take a bit of time. I was surprised the first time I had one they are actually really good. But they do commit one act of sacrilege, the side is a bag of chips! The bag included!!!! Oh hell no! Otherwise can't miss with the hoagie. If you are eating with a group for lunch I suggest a salad or one of the lunch combinations. The food comes out relatively quickly and the portions are big. I've never tried it but I've heard the Esperanza dressing is amazing! It's apparently one of those things that the internet is trying to figure out. Lastly if you're eating dinner I suggest reading another review. I'm sorry I've only picked up a pizza from this place for dinner. Overall the Mellow Mushroom is a 4 star place with a good track record.

My husband and I ordered a calzone filled with ricotta, spinach, chicken and mushroom. They were delicious. They're dough is special. The service was great.we shared the spinach salad that was imaginative and delicious also. I'm sold- try it.

Any good pizza will flop when folded and drip Olive oil on your clothing if your not careful. M/M does not meet this criteria. Service is also poor.

Great location for a pizza restaurant but was not impressed with the food (portions extremely small) for the price. Bread was stale and another food item seemed like it had been around for a while....Brought issues to mgt but was unimpressed with response. Will not return. If you want great food (pizza) go to Rudy's off Steve Reynolds Blvd next to the Kroger shopping center.

Kaelis and Kenny and Shana made my experience with an important client a great one. I have been to Mellow Mushroom before and they have always been a decent place with great pizza. This time we not only got the great pizza but an exceptional experience from the staff. I highly recommend.

This is one of the best locations. The staff, and our server was friendly, and so attentive to our needs when we dined in. I got a calzone, and not only was it HUGE, and every bite was divine. I look forward to returning in the future.

I thought this place was pretty decent. I was visiting from out of town and my friends suggested it as we were walking around the little area it's in. I didn't realize it was a chain until after I checked Yelp*, but we don't have them in Michigan so it was new to me. I ordered a House Calzone, which was good, large, around $9 so not too bad, I had leftovers for sure. Ordered a house salad with house dressing as well, and those were okay, nothing to write home about.. Service was fine. We sat outside and it started to poor while we were eating and the staff was on top of getting the vinyl blinds down, as to not distract from our meal. All in all it's a good place to dine.

I don't see how any of these reviewers can legitimately give this mellow mushroom less than a 3. We have been there multiple times for eat in and take out and all has been good experiences. For my birthday we took my whole family there and the service and food was great. If you like meat I recommend the mighty meaty pizza and we always love the chicken wings and greek salad. This is also a nice new place being in town center park, so it's very clean and decorated very well. Great for kids - it has a spaceship hanging in the main eating area. Plus you have the park to explore after eating. We love mellow mushroom.

Mellow mushroom is a go too place for me. I typically get the steak and cheese and it's always good. The Caribbean jerk hoagie is really good also. I like the laid back atmosphere. I would recommend this particular location, the service was good and the food is consistent

Mannagement is not present here nor is the service or food. Just bad ...even the atmosphere...

Geat Monday thru Friday lunch specials. Good service, and the craft beer selection is A++

Above average pizza that borders on being pretty good. Very friendly and quick staff. Good place for lunch. They seemed to have embraced the business and family crowds that they have here: not all similar places do.

  • E X.

The customer service is great, but the food is not that tasty to me. I didn't like the taste of the pizza dough and the meats on the pizza and calzones were salty. Also, the Maui Wowie pizza had this spicy dark sauce on it. I thought it was supposed to be like a Hawaiian pizza that was sweet, but it was not. The prices are a bit high for the quality of food. The pizza dough was a bit thin and made my pizza soggy and fall apart. Also the dough was a bit burnt. Plus, the waiting time for the pizza is just not worth it. I would just stick to Papa John's.

Yummy pizza. Great location. Disorganized and slow service.

  • Jae S.

What a big dissapointment. Been to many MM but this one takes the cake. Such a big let down. Let's start with the pizza dough which looked and tasted diff. I get the feeling that the dough is old or was made awhile back and should have been discarded. Only reason I think this is bc we orders the pretzel and they use the same dough as the pizza to make this and we didn't touch it after couple bites. It was bluntly obvious it was the same dough used on the pizza too.. but that was not the only let down since we ordered extra cheese on the pizza and there was barely any cheese on it. Don't let this location determine how MM is but don't come here it will give u wrong impression.

  • Hunter U.

Fine pizza, OK atmosphere. I was a little annoyed that I got the advertised lunch special and they then charged me more for anchovies when that wasn't listed on the lunch special sheet they gave me (fyi to the server, that extra money would have been yours in a tip, but it went to paying off the upcharge you didn't tell me about) Pizza was nice and charred and folded up the way a good piece of this style should. Solid pizza.

Great food, love all the healthy selections with the salad choices and gluten free pizzas but the service is HORRIBLE! Went in with a large party and our waitress acted really annoyed with us.

This is an awesome location and nice inside and outside seating. Awesome pizza! However we ordered a small salad to munch on before our pizza came it was brought quickly but we had no forks and it took forever to flag down our waitress. Once we did I started eating it. The salad was great until I found a lady bug in it! I asked for a manager and told him and he asked if I wanted a fresh one and I said no. Still our waitress brought one anyways and I didn't say anything just pushed it to the side and waited on the pizza. Once it came the food runner made a joke saying he dropped it on the floor. We ate and the pizza was awesome. Once the check came I was expecting no salad on there and maybe even a discount on the pizza. To my surprise the salad was on there and nothing was discounted. I gave it back to the waitress and said tell the manager I'm not paying for that salad. The manager brought it back and said sorry he planned to take that off but he was busy. So with that we paid and left. This could easily have been a totally different review if the situation would have been handled correctly.

This is the only Mellow Mushroom location I've been to, but I LOVE it. They have a great selection of pizza combos - my favorite so far is the red skin potato one! They sell soft pretzels which are SO GOOD. The environment is comfortable - it has a college town vibe, but it's also kid friendly.

what can i say that hasn't been said about mellow mushroom? ever since i first tried them in downtown atlanta years ago, i fell in love with them. this locale is no different. great staff, great food, excellent. but it's in the burbs so expect lots of unruly kids and blase parents too consumed with themselves to bother keeping their kids under control.

Again it's in Suwanee Town Center! A great place... this Mellow Mushroom is just as tasty as its ITP cousins! Plus you can take a walk around the park after you eat! Can't beat that!

In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations.
