Before arriving at this restaurant, I was pretty upset after having been in an argument. So when I wandered in, I was expecting to just grab some lunch and go. The owner of the store came to greet me & seemed to realize I wasn't in the best mood. She immediately found me a seat and was extremely kind. I was very short with her in replying to her questions, but she was very patient and gave me as much time as I needed to look over the menu(it took me about 15 minutes to finally decide). She graciously took my order and said "I'll make it especially delicious for you!". I ordered the spicy rice cakes and donkatsu. She didn't lie. Everything was very very delicious and I'm grateful for such amazing service! DEFINITELY need to try this place out if you haven't already!!

We were in the area looking for someplace to grab lunch, I'm glad we decided on Manna. There are large signs indicating they have recently opened, as well as food specials due to their opening. The restaurant wasn't full, but had a few tables, which was a good sign. We arrived with two infants, and the staff was very helpful in accommodating the high chairs. The service provided throughout the meal was excellent. Banchan - We were provided about six side dishes, all except the pancake were good. They tasted very fresh and were seasoned very well. Their kimchi is good, (I hate when Korean restaurants have terrible kimchi). Bori (barley) Bibimbap - Your regular serving size, with julienned vegetables, topped with a fried egg. They offer the gochujang (chili pepper paste) in a bottle for you to use as needed. We ordered the special that came with a side of doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) which was also very good. Jjolmyeon (spicy chewy noode) - I love that I found this on their menu. Not many places offer this dish, so it's always a treat to have it when available. The dish didn't disappoint. Cold chewy noodles with julienned vegetables, topped with half a hard boiled egg and sesame seeds. The spicy hot sauce for the noodles was also given in a bottle to use as needed. The noodles were spicy and refreshing deliciousness. Seafood Kalguksu (knife-cut noodles) - The dish was solid. A good amount of seafood, and noodles. The noodles were tasty, chewy and cooked perfectly. I would definitely revisit.

The place it located in the Assi Plaza towards the center left right next to the stairs. Its a modest restaurant with affordable prices. When I walked in there was one table already seated but thats about it. The service was good, and the gentleman that served me was very polite. I ordered the Bori bibimppab that comes with the korean bean paste (dweng jang jjigae). Maybe for those who likes to eat super healthy, but this dish was definitely not screaming my name and I wasn't screaming its name neither. I did add a lot of the gochujang to give it that spicy taste but still didnt do it for me. Dont get me wrong there were other items in the menu that looked awesome but it will have to be next time. I guess next time I will try something a little more my style.. You ask: whats your style... Well something Flavorful, if there is meat then its a big plus, spicy, fun to look at (yes I'm weird haha), overall the first bite has to make me close my eyes and go ummmmm. Will try this place again in the near future, can't judge them over one dish.

Manna Korean Restaurant is an interesting mix of korean foods, it's kind of hard to say what exactly their "specialty" is here because they do a lot of different things: stir fry, stews, soups, mixed rice dishes, noodles... etc. but everything is really affordable and overall satisfactory. the star of the show for me personally has been their cold buckwheat noodle soup (meul nengmyun), the "toppings" which usually consist of julienned cucumbers, sliced radish, half a boiled egg and one slice of cooked beef might leave much to be desired (WHERE IS MY SLICE OF PEAR MANNA!?), but the broth is really what makes this dish. add a bit of white vinegar + spicy mustard sauce and it's PERFECT for this hot weather. on the other hand, their spicy buckeat noodle dish (bibim nengmyun) and their spicy starchy noodle dish (jjolmyun) leave much to be desired. their sauces taste a bit too much like simple korean red pepper paste and well.. meh. their bori (barley) bibimbap dish is also very good and a healthy alternative to the usual rice bibimbap, which is always a win for the korean ajummah in your life. the banchan (side dishes) are good and they have varied each time i've come to dine here, not to mention they're also really good about refilling them for you so don't be afraid to ask! we're definitely frequenting this place due to the proximity, price, service and quality of the food. as long as nothing changes, i'm pretty sure you'll find us here whenever i don't want to cook.. haha

The service inside here is really nice- they did a good job redoing the place! We went inside on a Thursday night for dinner and ordered the bori bibimbop. I thought it was really good!! The banchan here is also really good. The service is amazing- the owners here are so sweet and friendly!! (I think they used to be partial owners at the korean restaurant in Assi?) The prices are just alittle higher than what is offered inside Assi, but the service and food here is worth it.
