Sunday lunch, took an hour to get our food. Three tables left while we were there. The server was embarrassed but could not fix what ever was going on in the kitchen. To top it off the place was not busy. Food after waiting was average at best and then I was over charged , did not argue just wanted to get out of there. Too many good Mexican restaurants , we will not be back.

They are really flexible with their substitutions. Just ask the friendly staff. As far as their choices, I def didnt like the mexican tacos. I didn't really enjoy the beans that they served. It was served in a soupy water. But, I would recommend the chipotle tacos. A-okay

FOOD-OK, DRINKS-CANT TASTE THE ALCOHOL, SERVICE-VERY SLOW, PRICE $$, STAFF FRIENDLY, New Mexican restaurant which we were excited to have nearby. Had the american taco- good; was your ordinary soft taco with beef, shrimp fajita -ok but was only mildly warm & not hot as you'd expect, hot plate of meat fajita with cactus- the meats(chicken steak) were ok but later in the night had stomach ache cramps which we suspect was the cactus. Restless night after eating that meal. Price was $$ out of 4 so it's pretty reasonable for what you're getting. They took forever to get our drink and meal order and then it literally took 45mins and 3 refill baskets of tortilla chips before the kids meal and taco came. We observed that at least 3 tables that sat down AFTER us had gotten their food before us and one table ate, paid and left before we got the first half of our meal. Manager spent 10min talking to his friends in the booth in front of us while we waited forever for our food, didn't come to our table to check on us or check on our food. Also we had two glasses of wine and two glasses of sangria. I could hardly taste the alcohol in the sangria. Need to refresh bartenders skills. Decor is dark with a lot of wood, has some ponderosa ranch tchotchkes. Lots of TVs broadcasting the sports games I'm probably going to go back and give them a second chance since they just opened up a couple of weeks ago so they're probably working out some kinks.

Food was great, wait staff is very inexperienced. Service was slow, order was incorrectly entered and we overall had a pretty unpleasant time. May go back but it will be awhile.

Have been there twice, and are definitely going back! The first time I visited I brought along my little pooch since this place has a patio and is K9 friendly. Unfortunately, the patio was being painted and I had to take the food to go. When I got home I was ecstatic at how good the Asada was! The rice and beans were great too! The whole meal was delicious and seasoned perfectly. I returned there yesterday with my pooch and we sat in the patio. This time I decided to try the "Pollo Norteno" and it was awesome!!! The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. They made the whole experience very positive. My pooch also enjoyed the occasional "oops, that fell off the table". All in all, a wonderful place worth getting to know, and enjoying the food.

Excellent food, We've been several times and never disappointed. I recommend Enchiladas Verdes. The rice is especially light and nice.

Been here a few times since it's so close to home. Decent Mexican food at a reasonable price. The staff is very friendly. We haven't experienced any wait time issues that others have mentioned.

We've been here twice so far. The first visit was just "meh", but it was right after they opened so I chalked it up to opening week jitters. We visited again last night and I'm going to give them 4 stars. The food was excellent and portion sizes were large. However, service was a bit off, but nothing to get excited about. All in all, this place looks like it will be here for a long time. We will definitely be back to try out the Margarita line up. Cheers!

I'm really sad because this place is so close to where I live but they just can't get the food consistently good. The first two times we can we were really delighted the last 2 times we went it was not good. Last time we went with a big party and so many things came out wrong or were misunderstood by the waitress taking the order we had to say something to the mgmt and I dont like to do that. Menu print is too small for my Mother to read in dim lighting. Bummer, I had high hopes.

Always thought this would the perfect spot for an excellent Mexican restaurant and this place definitely delivered on that. The decor is the perfect mix of modern and traditional without being tacky. The servers were top notch having no problem going the extra mile to make sure our experience was memorable in the best ways. The food was far superior to the typical "número dos" style food we're used to getting in the stereo-typical MR. I had the fajitas and was very impressed with the amount of food that was included and the great flavors they were able to pack onto the plate. I would definitely recommend making this your go to restaurant when you need to satisfy that urge for margaritas, chips and salsa and great Mexican food!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
