UPDATE: A VP at Cinco contacted me, refunded the checks of our full table and gave each of us gift cards. The restaurant also received a reevaluation today and received 100. They certainly turn things around and we will give them another chance. Original post: This used to be my favorite restaurant. Now their service is consistently bad and their health scores are scary low (currently a U at 53). Tonight the waitress called us out saying we didn't tip her 20% when we actually did, even though the service was horrible. I think I'm done with them.

Expensive food. not very good. Said it was tapas but that was only for the bar section so the family couldn't sit over there. Typical flavorless Mexican food. Had the crab fritters there's hardly any crab and it was mostly all batter. It was awful. Waste of money. Later that night my kid and I had stomach problems and was in and out of the bathroom all day. We think it was the cheese dip thing we ordered and shared. Would NOT recommend this place and we are NOT going back.

To grab a quick lunch during work, it's fine. Recently we want to Cincos to enjoy a family birthday outing. As soon as we sat down the waitress came over and asked us if we were ready to order. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer. Two minutes later she came back and asked if you're ready again. This hurry up and order continued for the next 10 minutes. After we ordered, our dinner arrive within five minutes. All four orders were incorrect. My taco salad consisted of shredded lettuce a tablespoon of corn less than a tablespoon of black beans scoop of sour cream and brown guacamole for $9.50. As soon as she cleared our plates, not asking if we wanted dessert, the check was brought to us. We felt very rushed and it was not an enjoyable meal for the price. There are too many good resturaunts around the area, go to one of them for a better experience and meal.

The Margaritas was average at best. Very loud on the patio. The food is ok. Service was good. I would come back.

Worse service ever!!! This was my 5th time at Cincos... And most definitely my last!! The service was bad from the moment our group of 8 sat down. We just brushed it off and went on with the evening. As we were leaving the table our waitress said to me "my service wasn't good??" I said it was fine... She proceeded to tell me that no one gave 20% tips. I was so taken back. I ended up speaking to the manager. Our group actually gave 15%-20% each couple.

This place was a total disappointment and I will not be coming back. The waiter check on our table only three times, the food was cold and the drinks had no favor. After telling the waiter our food was cold, the waiter took our plates and reheated our food. Besides not remaking our food. The manager never came to our table, when we asked to speak to him and he never apologized for the misunderstanding. I always try to support small business owners, because I'm a business owner myself. But I take pride in good customer service with my business.

Cinco is a lively mexican restaurant off Peachtree Industrial with a large dining area on one side and a bar area in the back. The atmosphere is actually great, especially in the back bar area whenever they have live music. On a recent Saturday Night, the musician was excellent and my wife and I had a really good time. The service was okay. This place falls short when it comes to drinks and food. The house margarita is just not that good, which is a big disappointment in a mexican restaurant. The steak and chicken fajitas were some of the worst I've ever had. My wife could not even cut the steak and trying to eat it was even tougher. The chicken tasted like eating rubber. The salsa was even terrible. At least the atmosphere and service made up for some of it. If I lived closer to the restaurant, I would actually come back to listen to live music and have a few beers at the bar, since there are not a lot of other great options in the area. I would just eat somewhere else beforehand.

Terrible service and prices are way to expensive. Waiter was very rude. Not coming back.

This was my first time here, and I would rate this restaurant rather satisfactory. The service was just not that great, I don't think I saw any server who came up to my table smile at all, it was very minimal customer service. I would hope to see improvement on that. Our food came out very fast, maybe within 5 minutes and it was good. I got the seafood enchiladas that came with jalapeno corn and beans; the seafood enchiladas were a lot smaller than I expected, but not bad. It cooled down really fast though, which was disappointing. The corn wasn't as soft as I wanted, and the beans were delicious. Overall, this restaurant isn't bad, but I definitely won't remember it nor will I probably come back.

Not sure what happened. 20 minutes before being greeted. Totally unorganized, maybe because it's Sunday night? They just really dropped the ball. Almost walked out. Think twice before going here again for dinner.

The atmosphere in this place is really nice. Good for a group events. I ordered the Chorizo Burger and it was good!! The burger consisted of one egg, chorizo sausage, and HashbrownThe prices here ate not bad and don't forget to check out there happy hour menu

Nice environment but food is tasteless, it needs be more authentic Mexican flavor. I do not recommend this place to eat.

Very loud when you walk in, customer service was pretty standard. Guacamole was bland, had to ask for limes and add in salt. However, their chips are crisp and their salsa is the best.

Great place to go for a group of 10 to 15 friends. Live music not overpowering. The food was excellent, sort of tapas but pretty sizable for one or to share. Pork tacos el pastor, fajitas, grilled shrimp salad, and avocado flautas were all perfect. The pulled pork tacos were dry, probably my mistake for accepting them when our server advised that this was the only thing left in the then closed kitchen. Good drinks. Out group ran the gamut with everything from sangria to martinis, wine I scotch. All very good and when not perfect quickly and happily changed.

I came here for a birthday dinner in the evening. It always puzzles me when you get one waiter/waitress for a large group as the service is a bit slow. All that being said with the expectation of it being slow and only having one waiter, it went better than expected. Our waiter was always there to refill drinks and bring out our food. He was more than helpful in pre-splitting our checks. I got the steak fajitas. They said they would cook it to medium but it came out more beyond well done. The rest of the food was decent (the fried beans, rice, lettuce, tomato). I feel like it's hard to mess those things up though. The chips and salsa was pretty standard... they do have a darker salsa that comes out (not super spicy). It's a nice place to go for Tex-Mex but they don't do a whole lot to distinguish themselves from the rest. I'd come here again if there was a big group hankering for Tex-Mex.

Wonderful new Years eve dinner. Three course meal. Loved it and great service. I would do this again and again. Food was amazing, I had the ahi tuna.

So disappointed in this place. It used to be so amazing and now with all the changes its crap and over priced for what you get. I had the fajita steak and for 19 dialed the portion was extremely small and he meat was chewy and fatty. I've been coming here for years and I keep giving this place opportunities and this was my third try and I will never be back...

Somewhat of a let down. I was really looking for an upscale Mexican restaurant close to home, and this fit the bill but......the food! The food was meh. Atmosphere was great. Great band playing. The service was good. The food was not memorable. Salsa needs some help! Probably will not go back.

I joined yelp after lurking for years because of this place. What a total disappointment this place was. Flavorless salsa, soupy refried beans, oily chips, mediocre food at best. The food is served on trendy and fancy plates, though, so there's that. I'm not sure what the draw is to this place, but it can't be the food.

Really nice atmosphere...the best frozen margaritas and chicken tortilla soup around!

I've eaten here several times and after initially having a positive experience, things have gone progressively downhill. The dishes are not unique nor impressive. They are fairly pedestrian as a matter of fact, but the prices aren't. For what they are, you pay too much. There are better options out there. Here's some points: The tacos are hit or miss. Sometimes they're okay, but often they aren't very good. The fish tacos are beyond boring and mine were overcooked. The pork is of inconsistent quality. The guacamole is nothing special either. It's not the worst I've had, but nowhere near the best either. The Queso Fundido is good however. It's a little greasy, but the ingredients are well constructed and it's mildly tasty the few times I've tried it. Beware your cocktail choice. The Disser is tragic. It shouldn't even be on the menu. The margaritas range from mediocre to above average. The banana margarita is passable. Overall, I would skip Cinco's. There are better places to get Mexican. It's far from atrocious, but not worth visiting either.

Please read...It's long, but I hope it's worthy...After eating here for a few years, and disliking the food, I finally decided to take my money somewhere else for good, after last year Mother's Day brunch. They had some kind of roasted potato, that came all shrank /burnt covered with a sad, and greasy cheese salsa, on a version of juevos rancheros, that didn't work out for me. I tried very hard to like this place, since the staff were nice, and one of the managers was great. Since I like to eat good food, and also I have to pay for it, decided to go somewhere else :) Tonight, after almost a year, I got invited to celebrate a friend's bday, and had already decided to stick with just a cup (very small one, just in case) of soup. Got there, our waiter, Joaquim, was really awesome. We were in a party of seven, and he managed to please us all. I had the sangria on the rocks, and it was just blah! Why not make this place the best cantina, for sangrias and margaritas?? It is a Mexican cantina, after all, or not? Joaquin, suggested the special of the night, which was a surf and turf version. I was like...in my head...hell, no. The meat here is always tough! So I brought up my concern to him. I actually let him know what was going on in my head (without the "hell" part off course), and he promptly brought up the manager, which assured me that, if the meat were though, he would happily take it back, at no charge. I am glad I went ahead and ordered it. The presentation was great: a nice bed of mashed potatoes, topped with a nice tasting tilapia, and the most juicy, rightly cooked, and tender steak I have ever eaten at Cinco! I have had the steaks from Pampas Steak House, so believe me, I have a very selective palate, AND MY VERY SELECTIVE PALATE WAS PLEASED AT CINCO!!! So, the conclusion is, it seems like the owners might have read the Yelp reviews, and are trying to keep this place open, by changing the old, sad and uninspiring menu, and by hiring people that actually care about the place, which is great! I saw many new waiters/waitresses face, the manager is new ( I wish I had gotten his name), a Hispanic gentleman that seems to know what he is doing, and is doing it with outstanding enthusiasm. Way to go, Cinco! I am willing to give it another chance, and tell my friends, and company's co-workers to do it too. Thank you Joaquim, and the manager on duty for the great food/night!! Ps: Not 5 stars yet... They still need to work on those drinks.

Went for a late night dinner. The place was almost empty and the service was fast and pleasant. Empanadas de Pollo were good. A bit greasy outside but nice and moist on the inside. Steak Quesadilla was nice and well seasoned. Churros as dessert was regular, too dry. They have a daily special drink. That night was 2 bucks a beer (Tecate), which was worth it.

The food is terrible, I have never had a good meal here. The band on Friday night is great but the quit at 11. The bartenders are very good. Man I wish the food here didn't suck! My wife and I plan to eat elsewhere before we come for our 5 dollar Texas margaritas.

We decided to give this place a shot on account of a friend's rave reviews. Having read some reviews below, I feel it is important to know that Cinco is a Tex-mex style restaurant and NOT any attempt at authentic Latin food. *The service was just good enough and the restaurant itself was very clean. *Food. I ordered the pollo adogabo. The chicken itself was prepared at a very pleasant temperature resulting in a nice outer layer with a very moist center. However, it was rather bland and certainly was in need of seasoning. The chimichurri sauce and hot sauce that covered it was heavy with little kick. The chicken and sauce were spread over a bed of sweet corn risotto. Nothing fantastic but good enough. Also tried the tilapia and shrimp tacos. The tacos had an abnormally strong fishy taste. Tilapia does not create a particularly fish taste so I can only assume the shrimp was slightly off. Also, many pieces of shrimp were not peeled properly and still had their shells on. *TL;DR. Mediocre food. If the prices were a buck a two lower, it'd make perfect sense. Pleasant neighborhood eatery.

Have seen this place for a long time so we decided to give it a try. Sadly it was now that good. The cheese dip was runny and not very good. The ranchero sauce on the burrito tasted like canned tomato sauce and the chicken was dry. The only redeeming quality was kids eat for free Monday through Thursday.

What a complete let down!!!. Went there today. Entered and the staff looked so miserable. We were seated outside. I asked 3 different staff if I could smoke outside all them replied ' I'm not sure ' and went to find out but never returned with an answer. We decided to move inside when we told the lady staff she just looked at us with a blank expression. Anyways we ordered the fish tacos. To sum it up. I've been at home the last hour vomiting all the food. I knew as soon as I tasted it it wasn't right. This Resturant needs a health inspection. I will never step back into this place again.

Went here for lunch, and was seated immediately. Upon walking into the main dining room, I was impressed with the interior and decor. Very clean, very modern. I looked over the menu and was pleased with the choices they had...it was a nice array of soups, tacos, fajitas, combos, and flatbreads (came on a separate menu). I ordered the portobello mushroom tacos. My friend and I were kept occupied with a serving of chips and salsa. The chips were nice and warm, and the salsa was absolutely spectacular. Not your average restaurant salsa, believe me! The food came out quickly, about seven or eight minutes for two entrees. That is to be expected when only three other tables were occupied. However, the food was pretty sub-par. The mushrooms were watery and lacked seasoning, and the rice was bland. Black beans were good though. I ordered guacamole on the side, and it just tasted like avocado with a hint of pepper...could have used a little acidity. Overall, the high points were the chips and salsa, the speedy service, and nice waiter. Food could have been much better though.

Amazing. Great food, great atmosphere. Plenty of space. Had the al pastor tacos and my wife had the shrimp and Mexican crab fitters...fantastic. Get the lobster and cheese dip - doesn't disappoint.

Have been coming here since they opened 6 or so years ago. When they opened they were firing on a cylinders. But after a few years they started to mis-fire. 1st the margaritas tasted like they were made with dish soap as the mix - they still taste that way even though I mentioned it to management and I warn everyone not to drink them. So margaritas were off limits, but the food was still very good. Now the food is just a step above Taco Bell. If you want good Mexican go to pure in Duluth. If you want bland tasteless food but still spend some bucks, then go to Cinco. It's not just me, look at the parking lot during dinner hours Cinco get back to the basics before you have to close!

I ordered a shot of Don Julio Blanco Tequila for myself and my wife, straight up, not chilled, with no salt or lime. They served us what felt like a very short pour in a large glass. Whatever, we didn't bother to have a second one. Then when the check came, in addition to the $9.25 charge for each shot of tequila, there was an additional charge of $1.50 each for having the shot "up" as in, not watered down. I asked them to remove the charge, which they did, and I asked to speak to the manager. He explained that when you order a shot "up" it would only be 1 3/4 oz. I have never heard of this before and the shots seemed to be less than that. Save your money. Don't drink their overpriced tequila and by no means pay for an additional "up" charge. With a million Mexican places to choose from around here, this place isn't worth it.

Went with a group of 8 people. they were nice enough to add 20% gratutity. Problem is the service was horrible and the food ok. when we asked the waitress to remove the gratuity we got a nice visit from the manager on duty. He was very arrogant and just pissed us off even more. He said that we had to pay the gratuity because it was noted on the menu. I told him I wasn't and that there is no law that says I have to pay it because you put it on the menu. needless to say...won't be going back

Great service but the food was overpriced and not very good. I had the Camarones Pueblo and it was just OK, definitely not worth $13. Wouldn't go there again.

Love this place, Great atmosphere. Good drinks and the best fajitas in my book. The guac is really good too. We feel comfortable with our kids but get to enjoy a little more upscale for the adults

  • Larry D.

This place used to be really good. Something is different now. I ordered a chicken fajita (how can you go wrong with that staple) it was dry, portion small and had no flavor at all. The margarita (Texas no less) is pre-made in a vat, and it was so sweet my wife had to go to the bar to ask if they made a mistake with her drink only to find out that it was pre-made, ya can't even make a fresh premium margarita?

I have eaten here several times over the past 6 years. The food is delicious. Love their chips and guacamole. Fish tacos are my favorite dish! Service has been average. Pickup a Suwanee Magazine next door at The Fresh Market for a 20% OFF coupon.

We went back for dinner one random Saturday night and it was just horrible. Service was blah and they were very obviously trying to rush people through. We ordered cheese dip and guac to start and they came out immediately - both were good. We ordered our entrees when the guac and cheese dip were delivered to our table and I am not even exaggerating when I say that it was no more than 5 minutes later that those entrees arrived at our table COLD. Umm...how does that happen? Needless to say this pretty much ruined our impression of Cinco and I don't think we'll go back.

Went there today with boyfriend after church and had a best experience! Our server was very kind and he constantly stop by at our table to fill our needs. Their salsa was really good along with fresh, hot tortilla chips. I had cinco burrito I believe, and my boyfriend had chicken fajita. I loved my burrito and my boyfriend's fajita was good as well. Loved the restaurant and will go back to try other stuffs as well!

Being a Texan, I'm very picky about my Mexican food and Cincos is definitely a place that is worthy!! It's upscale - and their fajitas, guacamole, and cold beer are a combination that can't be beat in my book. The service is always excellent too! One of my very favorite places in Atlanta.

Mmm... Cinco! Very cute little upscale Mexican restaurant in Suwanee. It has two parts to the restaurant: the main dining area complete with a full length bar, and a second half of the restaurant is just a huge bar and patio which is perfect for happy hour and after-dinner drinks at night. I came here on a Saturday night after seeing "The Avengers" (which happened to be pretty epic, by the way - highly recommended). My friend lives nearby and after hearing the rave reviews about the fresh, on-the-spot, house made guacamole, I had to try it myself. We walked in around 7 PM and asked for a table on the patio, unfortunately it was reserved that night for a large private party but it was no big deal. The hostess took our name and said to get a drink while we waited for our table. At the well stocked bar (there was the largest bottle of Jagermeister I've ever seen atop a commercial margartia mixer), we both ordered vodka and cranberries, but for some reason there was only one bartender on duty, so it took her awhile to get to us. By the time we got our drinks, our table was ready, though so that was fortuitous. Once seated however, the wait began anew. Eventually, the evil eye was trained on a waitress who'd walked by seemingly oblivious several times and she hurriedly talked to another waiter who ended up taking care of us even though it was obvious this wasn't his section. Whatever - just serve me, please, I'm hungry. We ordered the guacamole and got a HUGE serving of it - it was really good too - I recommend it. And for entrees, I ordered one of the specials: the mixed grill, and my friend got the steak fajitas. Holy cow was that a lot of food that came out! My mixed grill consisted of a big portion of grilled steak, grilled chicken, grilled shrimp, grilled asparagus all piled atop a half acre of mashed potatoes. Yikes! That's for one?! No wonder Americans are becoming more obese by the minute! The fajitas were just as intimidating: about a half slab of beef went into the making of the beef fajitas, with a garden's worth of onions, peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, more guacamole, a round of shredded cheese, sour cream, rice and pinto beans and a dozen corn tortillas. Phew! Doggie bag, anyone? We dug in heartily and did some pretty major damage, but in the end it still looked like we'd barely made a dent. Two to-go boxes were filled up with leftovers, which were great in an omelet the next morning, and we were thoroughly satisfied. I would have given Cinco's 4 stars except for the service. Good food though, Cinco - very good, very large servings of food. Next time, we'll probably split an entree, especially if more guacamole's involved as an appetizer.

Good service, good food. We got chipotle shrimp and mussels and both were super good. Will come back to try other stuff on the menu

Parking is tough on a Friday evening. The staff are very chatty amongst themselves while people are waiting. The guacamole is the best in town, the steak is very tough but has a nice flavor. Worst part about Cinco, your clothes stink after you dine there so dont make plans to go anywhere else after. Mar 2014 - Update they have changed the steak, its now much nicer than before.

Excellent food and impeccable service. My husband and love the food and recently reserved the separate bar area for a fabulous baby shower. The space was gorgeous, the Cinco catering staff added several extras we did not anticipate, making our event one to remember. I recommend Cinco if your looking to have a small private gathering or just looking for upscale atmosphere and high end Mexican food and margaritas. Scott Jordan & Heather England delivered above and beyond our expectations, treating us V.I.P all the way without breaking our wallet or pushing extra services. I can't wait to plan my next event at this location!

This was my favorite eatery until they received a 65 and 66 unsatisfactory score on recent restaurant inspections and subsequently lost their license and had to request a special meeting with the compliance review board for reinstatement. The interesting aspect of this is the fact that I mentioned to my SO on several occasions that the food quality had recently declined..... Now I understand why. Needless to say we will not be returning to what was once our favorite Mexican restaurant.

  • Mike P.

Upscale Mexican! The bar is fantastically stocked with all types of liquor. While the fajitas were of highest quality they lacked a little flavor to my surprise. There was no seasoning to bring out the high quality of meat. The salsa is fresh and homemade. This is a great Mexican Rest.

another restaurant that I tried during restaurant week and the food was PLENTIFUL that's for sure! The lobster & shrimp dip was very good though alittle thin...emplanadas were tasty but more dough then chicken...now the salmon was scrumptious though for a big eater maybe a tad small but for me way more than enough especially with the appetizers. Of course the flan was out of this world! This place has a very knowledgable staff that's for sure our waiter knew his stuff and I could over hear a few others giving detailed explanations on the dishes though this restaurant is kinda noisey but I like that..definitely a return visit is in my future! Margaritas were OUTSTANDING by the way...

This place continues NOT to disappoint. The newer menu selections are very good. Most recently I had the salmon... Service is usually pretty solid; and the deck is a great seat in the warmer weather on nice days.

Suggestion here is the Fish Taco's or Chicken Caserdillers (a little Napoleon Dynamite lingo.) other items can be hit or miss. Servings are huge. On Mexican I prefer El Jinete' in Dacula

Upscale! Went for dinner there were 6 of us, we all had different margaritas that were very well made by Danny our bartender and server. All our meals were presented beautifully, very tasty and hot! This is not your ordinary Mexican, everything has a unique flavor, portions are huge! They also have live music on the weekends!

First time at this Cinco locations. Very spacious in the inside and friendly. I order the chicken and steak fajitas my boyfriend order the shrimp & steak fajitas The food was very tasty, cook to order and came out in a timely matter. Very friendly supervisor and I love it. If we lived in the area we would come back to this location but it's way out of our way.

I really don't like it here. Service is hit or miss (mostly miss) and the food is disappointing. Their quesadillas come with sour cream smothered all over it, so if you don't like sour cream be sure you request it on the side or sub out for something else. I had a salad last time that had orange wedges and shrimp. It was okay, but my shrimp was kind of tough and rubbery. Luckily I ordered a side of queso which is what kept me mostly full for the rest of my workday. I hate the way their salsa tastes (they serve the chipotle style salsa here) so I was glad to have the queso. The queso is really thin which is my favorite type. The first time I came here, our server disappeared after she dropped off the meals. Post-visit my credit card came back over-charged for the tip amount, which I reported to my credit card company and it was sorted out, but I still do NOT trust the servers here. The second time we went, last week, they sat our party of 5 and then forgot about us for about 15 minutes. Sure we had chips and salsa but no water and no ordering. This kind of ruined the idea of a 1 hour lunch. Also when I ordered my "queso Americano" our server condescendingly responded, "what, cheese dip?". This is Cinco, not Chilis, right? I'll be back but only because my co-workers seem to like it so much here. I need to navigate the menu a little more, but next time I may just order a bowl of queso.

We don't get out a lot like we used to, but when we get away from the kids for a bit it's usually to Cinco. It's a more upscale Mexican restaurant, and really the only one of its kind in the Gwinnett area that I can currently think of. The food is really good and reasonably priced. Menu favorites are the tacos carnitas, carne asada, and fish tacos. Guacamole is good too, made table-side. We usually hit up After Five, their lounge area in the back, following our meal for some live music and live cougar entertainment (LOL!).

Yum! My friends took me here for a great dinner when I was staying with them for the night. The food was excellent. I had the chicken enchiladas and a classic margarita. We also munched on yummy queso and chips and salsa. Service was great. Our waitress was very attentive and our drinks never empty. The atmosphere was energetic, a bit loud for my taste, but I could tell this place is hoppin' later in the evening. Would definitely go back!

So I've been on a hunt for good fish tacos in atlanta for awhile now and Cinco was recommended to me by several fellow yelpers so I decided to try it out. I wasn't impressed. Their fish taco consist of a piece of fried tilapia in a flour tortilla. Nothing else. No cabbage. No sauce. Nothing. Their cheese dip with jalapenos was good which isn't really saying much since it's kinda hard to mess up on cheese dip.

Business Lunch! Had to get in and out in 30 minutes to make another appointment in the area! Hostess was very accommodating and friendly! Server took our order immediately and dropped the check as requested! Best hot fresh Chips I've had in ATL. The best Salsa so far! I'd love to get the recipe! Ordered the Chicken Quessadilla it was excellent! I love the the interior of this upscale Mexican Restaurant . They have a Guacamole Station in the middle of the place. I'll come back to give that a try!

Cinco Mexican Cantina is definitely a delicious, gourmet version of your usual hole-in-the-wall Mexican hangout! I ate at Cinco for the first time last night, and I have to tell you that I was impressed! The first thing that struck me was the decor - it was fantastic! From hand-blown glass light fixtures, graphic (& seemingly original) artwork, unique furnishings & a huge bar, complete with custom lighted pillars - Cinco has a surprisingly chic atmosphere for a Mexican Cantina! My girlfriend & I were greeted by a friendly waiter (sorry I forgot his name) and started out with a basket of fresh chips & roasted tomato salsa - yum! I ordered my usual beverage to accompany Mexican food, a Dos Equis Amber with lime, but should have gone for a Margarita - they looked luscious! We also split an appetiser of the usual white cheese dip and it was good, typical Mexican cheese dip, however if you opt to add jalapenos add .65, which I think is a bit cheesy; no pun intended. She & I both ordered the steak Chimichanga, which was filled to the brim with perfectly cooked steak. Overall it was crunchy, tender & cheesy (as it's topped with the white cheese dip) - muy delicioso! It was accompanied by the usual suspects, rice & beans. Next time, I might only get the rice, I'm not a big bean fan, and their "charro beans" were no exception. We both REALLY enjoyed the Chimichanga & agreed that we would order it again. We opted not to order desert, as we had other plans for our sweet teeth, but agreed that we should save room for it next time! Cinco would also be an excellent place to meet friends for drinks & apps, while enjoying the amazing atmosphere. Happy noshing!

Good food... Decent pricing. They don't run many specials or seem to be very involved. The evenings at "After 5" which is a martini bar can be fun but it is hit or miss with the crowd.

They have the worst customer service ever! We had elders and children with us and waited over an hour and a half on a Monday night for our food before we finally decided to leave! The managers excuse was that they were busy!! They had like 10 tables of people in there and never apologized. On top of all of that the food isn't that good anyway. We will never ever go back. They just lost at least 5 families of business!

Lunch yesterday with a colleague who has been raving about Cinco around the office- now I can see why! Chips are housemade, thin, crispy and warm. Salsa is a smoked type, probably with poblanos and would rate medium on the heat scale. The queso without jalapenos was a nice accompaniment to the very generous serving of chips, and I would happily order this again! Space is beautiful, plenty of art glass on the walls, interesting light fixtures and some original art (we found out the owner's brother is the painter- very talented and his oversized paintings enhanced the restaurant's decor and put it in a different class than typical Mexican restaurant poster art). I ordered chicken fajitas and they were not prepared correctly at first (I like my fajitas very plain, so this happens often when the kitchen folks try to be nice and add more ingredients, much to my chagrin!) but the server handled the error with aplomb. He apologized and quickly got a corrected order out to me. Chicken was clear, beautiful slices of breast meat- just the way I like it- served atop a bed of griddled caramelized onions on the sizzling platter. Perfect! I am looking forward to a return visit after work hours so I can taste the famed margaritas!!

I love it when yelp recommendations pay off! The fish tacos were excellent (and the reason for the fourth star). House margarita was standard and my taste of the steak fajitas was not disappointing. I really enjoyed the salsa. It was brown instead of standard red, and very tasty. Cinco's has an upscale decor with a large bar and seating area (both indoor and out). I didn't wander over to the "club-y" area, but the patio was facing the sun during sunset, which would have been good during our semi-windy dinner. However, the patio on the restaurant side will be prime real estate during the summer months. I would say Cinco's is a good place for both a date or a larger group gathering.

I have been to Cincos many times. It is a great place to have a drink and/or a meal. This time I had the mussels. They are amazing! The server was a little slow on filling my water the first time but passed by frequently after that to check on things. I love Cincos and Cincos After 5.

Ive been to the other Cinco alot lately, and this one was good for meeting a friend in the middle. All in all its the same as the other Cinco, good food, solid service, and its quiet too so I can hold a conversation and not worry about it being too loud or having to yell. I will be back here again I am sure.

We went there for lunch......two adults. I ordered the Cinco burrito with carne asada and the wife had fajitas. We also had the queso fondido which was really good. Both meals were good and the lunch portions were enough to fill both of us up. Total bill, sans tip, was $32.00.......pricey for lunch. Would I go back? Yes, I will but due to the high prices, not very often. There is a Mexican restaurant in the Publix shopping center up the road that is great and about half the price. The ambiance isn't the same but it is good food. Cinco is a good place to go for a business lunch or special occasion. I doubt I'll go for lunch simply due to the cost.

Not a bad little place - ample space for al fresco dining. Our first drink choice (note that part of the margaritas here are made from a mix and part are made from scratch, stick to the from-scratch but read on...) was from the scratch menu and was called the Mexicanismo - don't do it. Their idea of a "splash" of OJ was a truckload, it was cloyingly sweet and too heavy, just not good and not salvageable. Go for the Mexican Mule, a more traditional margarita made with reposado, it was very easy to drink! We had an order of the pork tacos, which were divine - pork cooked just so, little bit crispy, almost as good as the El Porton sandwich of which I am so fond. Also had the poblano mac & cheese & the guacamole, which they did a very nice job with. Passed on dessert because we were too full, but I'm guessing that it will be good when we get back around to it & I look forward to giving it a try! Definitely worth a re-visit, a little more upscale than typical run of the mill mexi places, seems pretty reliable based on the consistently good reviews - which I am happy to augment!

FISH TACO ALERT!! FISH TACO ALERT!! FISH TACO ALERT!! If you love fish tacos (tilapia), this is the best I've tasted in Atlanta, bar none. (And yes, of course, the chips and salsa are the best in ATL too...yawn) It brought memories of standing in line on a brisk afternoon lunch rush, in the corner of El Parque, in San Simon, Baja California. I could faintly taste the sea air as I was gorging on the tilapia taco, lightly breaded and...oh so tenderly cooked. What brought me back to reality was the price differential. Paying 15 pesos for 3 fish tacos in San Simon is a far cry from paying a 1,100% mark up @ Cinco's. I'll think I'll go again for dinner today! Mmmm.... Orale!

Food was ok but not quite 5 stars on the service. Maybe he just had too many tables but they weren't very busy. Hardly anyone inside. We sat outside. I had the pork shank and Mac n cheese. If I would suggest anything, get the Mac n cheese!!!! So yummy. Dislike would be that when they bring you your bill it's not itemized. The server brought two tickets and the only thing on them was an amount. The guy said, um which one is yours?! Really?!?!

Went here for a birthday lunch with some friends. The decor is refreshingly simple and clean, not tacky blankets and sombreros. The chips and salsa was delicious. The service was very good. I had a veggie quesadilla, it was fantastic! Will definitely eat here again!

My husband and I had a friend staying over this weekend, so I recommended Cinco Mexican Cantina for brunch on Sunday. My friend has a great brunch place where he lives, so I was a little worried that I'd pick a dud place and it would be a letdown. Fortunately, I needn't have worried. Somebody dropped off a basket of fresh chips and salsa at our table immediately after we sat down. The chips were hot and tasty, and the salsa was flavorful but VERY mild. I prefer my salsa with a little more kick, but other than that it was good. The low note in our visit was that it took a while for a server to get out to our table. We sat there eating chips and salsa without any water for somewhere between 5 and 10 minutes. Just as I was about to flag someone down to find out what was going on, our server appeared. Turns out that the hostess was seating people all over the restaurant and not letting the waitstaff know. So I'm noting the disorganization factor, but things worked out fine for us after that. We ordered some cheese dip (no jalapenos) and chose entrees from the Sunday brunch menu. The cheese dip was tasty but next time I'll order it with jalapenos. For entrees, I had the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict and both my dining companions had the Carne Asada and Eggs. Both entrees were good, but I spent a fair amount of time coveting the carne asada once all our food arrived. My husband let me try his, and the steak was freaking fabulous. Both he and my friend raved about the cheese in their eggs and how perfectly cooked everything was. My food was good, but I liked the Carne Asada and Eggs better. My crab cake was delicious, but the dish as a whole was too salty for my taste. Once I removed the Canadian bacon, I liked the food a lot better. I'm well aware that Canadian bacon is supposed to be salty, but if it overpowers the dish like that, I feel that an adjustment needs to be made to compensate for it. Both dishes came with these wonderful new potatos fried with cheese and bacon. Deeeeeelicious. I'd go back just for those potatoes. Unfortunately, we showed up at 11 am so we did not get to sample any alcoholic beverages (I always forget about stupid Georgia law not letting you drink until 12:30 pm). But we had a great experience and I'd definitely go again. Our server was friendly and did a great job, and we all left full and happy. Cinco is a great option if you're in the Lawrenceville-Suwanee area and looking for a Sunday brunch place.

I was here in December of 2009. Just met up with an old friend for a couple drinks. The wait staff was really, really nice. We even spilled a beer, and they didn't bat an eye. They just kept bringing us chips and salsa. I was so appreciative, I gave a 50% tip. Excellent service and fun atmosphere. I recommend!

Cinco is one of the better Mexican-style restaurants in the Gwinnett area. It's got a really welcoming atmosphere and regardless of whether you're looking for delicicous food (the pork tacos are incredible) or simply a place to hang out with friends and get a few drinks (check out their bar/lounge that's connected to the restaurant). The only thing to consider is that Friday and Saturday night they have live music, so it does get somewhat loud those nights and wouldn't make for a quiet, intimate dinner. All of the servers I've had there have been friendly, attentive, and on top of their tables, but not bothersome. I've been almost a dozen times and only once was my food mixed up. That's pretty much the only reason I couldn't give 5 stars. Overall, it's one of my favorite restaurants in Suwanee.

This place try's to make Mexican food fancy to justify the price. However, what you're left with is food that is not that good especially for the price. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, look elsewhere. The atmosphere is nice though; good place for overpriced drinks. I wont see you there!

I want to give them all the benefit of the doubt I can so let me lead in with the fact that we arrived at Cinco at 2:45pm on Mothers Day (Mothers Day Brunch ended at 3) so staffing was low and they were probably turning for dinner. That being said, this experience at Cinco was awful. You know that I'm a sucker for good service (often making up for mediocre food) and not only was our service bad, slow and effortless, our server took three opportunities to tell us how hard he was working and how many different jobs he was performing (bartender, host, waiter, etc...). I will try not to belabor this point but I'm sure you can fill in the blanks, drinks took forever, empty glasses sat unfilled, long wait to order, blah, blah, blah. I'd love to get to the food but I have to add here that the young man waiting on us had no idea what they had available and what they didn't. Like I said, brunch had just ended but he offered the kiddies French Toast and bacon, came back to rescind the bacon offer, then later came back to rescind the fruit substitution and finally arriving with a pretty simple, unaccompanied (and undercooked) plate of French Toast. I got the half soup lunch and the Chicken Tortilla soup was a needed bright spot. Great flavor, good spice level, great consistency...very nice bowl of soup. Unfortunately a bowl of soup can't prop up all that was wrong with this visit. I'll chalk it up to bad timing on our part but I didn't feel any attempt on their part to make our visit better. I'll never asked to be comp'ed (if you don't think to offer, it's not worth the hassle) but on the third change/subtraction from the kids french toast plates, I would have at least reduced the cost since they were providing 1/3 of the original offering. With as many "I'm sorrys" that were getting thrown around, the $170 tab for 5 adults and 2 kids seemed a bit steep. I'm not crossing them off my list but it'll be a while before I go back.

Chips and salsa are very good! My mother ordered the chicken fajitas, which I had a bite of, and it was excellent! My brother got the steak burrito, and it was HUGE and very good. I ordered the fish tacos, and was a little disappointed. I think because we went over Memorial Day weekend, their stock of fish was getting a little old. However the service was good, and we definitely intend to visit Cinco's again.

Once in a while, I get a craving for clean Mexican food. You know, where you don't have to eat off of plastic baskets, paper plates. In other words, "fake" Mexican food. As opposed to authentic. Here at Cinco, you pay for the ambiance, the neat decor, and the clean surroundings. It's a place to take people from out of town or meet friends for drinks (they have this cool, long bar with neat bar stools). Locally-owned and operated, Cinco's big plates are guaranteed to fill you up. My favorite, the Enchilada plate, comes with 3 huge enchiladas filled with either white shrimp, chicken, or beef. The fillings are cooked in tasty spices and topped with tomatillo or lobster-chipotle sauce all wrapped in soft tortillas. Really, they are delicious. It comes with a bowl of house-made charro beans. For a good sampling of what they offer, get the Cinco Plate -- burrito, enchilada, taco. A great way to have a bit of everything. They also have a Dos and Tres plate. Clever. The chips and salsa are excellent here. The salsa is made with grilled tomatoes and has that smoky smell and taste. The chips are thin and crispy. Not chuncky and jaw-breaking. This salsa is one of the best in the city. The traditional cheese dip is a gooey goodness of cheddar and Mexican white cheese dotted with or without jalapeño bits. It's cheesy with the perfect consistency. Great appetizer. While Mexican places aren't really known for their desserts, make sure you make room for theirs. their Flan Napoleon is an absolute must-try. It's the goodness of vanilla bean custard with caramelized phyllo dough served with strawberry coulis. It is so good. The rich, moist Morita and Chocolate Layer will absolute make you swoon: chocolate mousse layered between chocolate cake topped with pistachio brittle and served with pistachio ice cream. The cake is just so delectable. Not dry, and not too sweet. Cinco is for those times you just crave for a more westernized version of Mexican cuisine. It doesn't pretend to be authentic. Instead, it offers food that's freshly made, tastes good, and made with fresh ingredients.

Came here on a whim during my lunch break, and was pleasantly surprised! I opted to sit at the bar, but the service was great! Bartender was very personable and attentive. Not to mention the lovely mimosa I had for only 6 bucks! I'm actually here again now only two days later and I'm very pleased! Keep up the good work :-)

After working at Cinco in high school, I grew to love the food and atmosphere.. and the service had always been great. However, now being 21 and taking my parents out for a 'nice' dinner, I was extremely disappointed. The atmosphere was noisy and crowded and the menu has taken a huge hit. The food is nothing like it used to be. The service was still great but not enough to have us coming back for more. I had the fish tacos, which I loved in the past, but they've been cheapened to simply mediocre. Margaritas were good but again, not enough to make up for the food. Over priced for the quality of food these days... Very sad!!

FIrst off, the decor of Cinco is what drew me in. I would eat here for the visual experience alone. The bar area is the best...a huge wall display stocked full of various color bottles is illuminated by the sun (or made to pop by the night backdrop) and the light fixtures are amazing...very Chihuly inspired. Beyond that, the margarita's (and their specials) are fantastic. The menu doesn't offer a huge selection, but with such solid staples, you don't need options. My two favorites are basics - the beef burrito (the best) and the beef enchilladas. Additionally, their queso is hands-down the best queso blanco I've come across in Atlanta. Though I've never tried a dessert (too full from everything else) I hear they're good. Yes, it can be loud, and yes, for some reason, this appears to be a "great spot" for families with annoyingly unbehaved children, but that's pretty much everywhere these days. A great patio to sit on, and again, a great bar area!

I recently moved to Buford and stumbled upon the Cinco Mexican Restaurant. It was a busy Friday night and the main restaurant had a 20 minute wait so my bf and I opted to sit at the bar. As we took our seats at the bar I was AMAZED by the wide array of tequila options... this is the largest tequila selection I've seen since I've been in the Vegas tequila bars. There were many high end tequilas to choose from! I'm not good with names but the big bald and super awesome bartender made me one of his specialty margaritas from scratch with fresh squeezed lime juice all done right in front of me. I've had many margaritas in my time and this was hands down the BEST margarita that I've ever had! The bartender was very knowledgeable on tequila and even passed on some of his tips and knowledge. My boyfriend and I proceeded to order apps at the bar and we went with the crab cake and guacamole and they both were to die for! I've been to the Fish Market in Boston and had what was supposed to be the "best" crab cakes ever, but was astonished to how scrumptious and even more delicious Cincos were. There was live music; the guy sang popular tunes from Dave Mathews to Kenny Chesney. We had so much fun sitting at the bar that we decide not to move to the dining room for a table. This was a great atmosphere and a beautifully done restaurant. It is a great place to go with friends, family, or on a date! I can't wait to return and try some of their entrees. I highly suggest Cinco to anyone in the area!

fancy place, but bland food... not what I'd expect.. Chorizo burger was basically a regular burger with a few specs of chorizo... fish tacos were wrapped fried fish minus any condiments, calamari was bland with hardly any pepper... Wont be going back

After a weekend of moving into our new house, we decided to try Cinco, a restaurant in our 'hood that we hadn't yet experienced. We sat at the bar, but unlike most restaurants, it did NOT result in superior service. The chips were fresh and hot, but I didn't care for the salsa - just kind of blah. The lobster and cheese dip, though, was YUM! Husband ordered a combo platter, and the only part he really didn't care for was the ground beef burrito. I got the shrimp fajitas, and they were really good, especially the KILLER guac - so flavorful, and great texture. Lots of tequila and margarita options, and Tecate in a can for the hubs. Not the most authentic Mexican restaurant, but seems like a reliable standby.

Disappointed in the "dos" lunch. I have been to the one on McGinnis Ferry when it first opened, but both seem to be slipping in terms of quality. I remember the food being really fresh, but now its on par with a La Cazuela. The burrito sauce was somewhat bitter. Nice atmosphere and service, but I don't think we will be back.

Just got take out from here and it was OK. I am not sure what all the fuss is about their fish tacos... they were fried and nothing was in the taco, just fried fish and some sauce... not what I was expecting after all of the great reviews I read about them. We also got the chicken tacos, which were fried, tasteless and dry... The guacamole was good... the burrito we ordered was more like an enchilada and it was decent. Not going to go back anytime soon.

I've visited Cinco's several times over the past couple of years. Initially, I enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. But, lately the menu has changed ( at least a couple of times) to more watered down version of its authentic self. Not drastic changes, but enough to notice that you're not getting the same bang for your buck. The service is always nice, but it doesn't have the same spirit it used to.

I eat here weekly and it is always great! I like the grilled chicken tortilla salad. It's loaded with avocado which I love! The burritos are amazing as well. Salsa is unique but definitely tasty with freshly made chips. Some of the best chips I've ever had out. The service is always pretty good.

Free chips and salsa to begin with. Fajitas big enough for two. Drinks not strong. Dancing and DJ offered in side bar. Bar area big. Look out if you sit near a bunch of ladies as they are usually drinking tequilla, getting rowdy, and staff says nothing about noise.

I had a great time at Cinco over the weekend. I made the long haul out to Suwanee for dinner with a group of friends that I hadn't seen in a very long time. There was about a 20 minute wait when we arrived, so we went to the lounge next door called "Five" - how clever - which is attached to Cinco. I had a Coco Pom Martini that was allegedly made with Grey Goose - it certainly didn't taste like Grey Goose. I didn't like it but my friend loved it so she drank it for me. I generally love all drinks pom or coconut but this drink was wretched. I tried my friends Raspberry Mojito and it was EXCELLENT! And I don't even like mojitos. I tried some other martinis that my other friends ordered and was not impressed by any of them. So I say go for the Mojito if you are going to drink anything. Five also had a great piano/sax player who sang great songs by Stevie Wonder and Elton John among others. He was really entertaining. After about 30 minutes we finally were seated at a large booth that fit 6 comfortably until the food came (the table was way too small for the portion sizes). The server immediately brought over two huge baskets of chips and salsa. The salsa wasn't my favorite. It is really dark in color (thinking it may have black beans in it?) and didn't taste like much of anything. The chips however were quite addicting! We also ordered two of the guacamole appetizers. It was AMAZING. Probably the best guacamole I have ever had. They used white onion instead of purple and added in the tomatoes at the very end so they weren't all squished and mushed. Yummy! The guacamole appetizer is probably best for two people to share, but two of them between 6 people was enough for everyone to try it. For my meal I ordered the chicken fajitas. I could not believe how large the portions were. Two people could easily split a single order of fajitas. The chicken was sliced thick (almost a little too thick) and the onions, peppers and tomatoes were sauteed perfectly. The tortillas are made fresh and were great. Only thing I didn't like about my entree were the beans they served with it. They were really runny and just not my thing. It wasn't an issue though because it was entirely too much food anyway. Also, our server was on point - I believe his name was Adam. He was very attentive even though it was the end of a long, crazy night. He had great energy and made awesome suggestions. On top of the great food and service, the atmosphere was pretty kick ass. It was nice, clean, and had blown glass fixtures that were really pretty. The bar area in Cinco was popping and they had an artist there singing and playing the guitar. He was amazing! He played a wide range of music and got the whole bar and restaurant singing. At times I felt like I was part of a singalong or something because everyone was so into it. If you are looking for a quiet meal on a Saturday night this is not the place to go. It was difficult at times to hear what others were saying at the table but that was OK with me because the music was great. Will definitely go back to Cinco if I find my way out to Suwanee again :-)

Good food, but better at lunch for families. Last Dinner service we went to, we couldn't hear eachother across the table with the live music & crowds. During the 45 minute wait, decided to get a drink at the bar, but had a hard time getting to the bar tender with all the people. Had the Fish Tacos which were made with fried fish not grilled (disappointing) and served with a "different" ground beef, tomato, chili-type side and whole-bean refired beans. But way too loud and crowded for parents with little ones on the weekend dinner services,

Thank you Cinco's for being one of the best restaurants in Suwanee. Over the course of two years, we've used Cinco's as a meeting place for the staff birthday's, doctors meet and greet, and bringing folks from out of town to taste the delicious food. Today, as expected,Cinco's came though for us. Every plate was empty and every belly was full.

Cinco never disappoints. It is an upscale Mexican restaurant between Duluth and Suwannee. The guacamole is fresh and amazing and I always have the steak fajitas, which are the best I have had anywhere! It's a little more expensive than your run of the mill Mexican places, but the prices really aren't bad for the quality and amount of food you get. This is my "go to" place of choice if it's my turn to pick.

From the decor to the food to the location - this place gets a 10. My wife and I eat here at least once a week. Its very hip and trendy - not your usual mexican restaurant decor. It reminds me of the restaurants in LA or Orange County, CA - you won't see any mariachi bands playing here. The bar is huge and they have everything you can think of - which helps create a wild Friday & Sat night crowd. The food is steller - the best authentic mexican you can find in Atlanta and the best chipotle salsa! My wife and I used to travel 10 miles to eat here until about a month ago we moved into Suwanee Station which is nestled right behind this restaurant. Now we are in walking distance and loving it. We tell people the reason we moved here is because of Cinco. :) Best restaurant in Suwanee - and top 5 in my Atlanta restaurants.

Excellent service, great atmosphere and top rate gourmet, nouveau riche, Mexican cuisine ... I doubt that many Mexicans, in Mexico, would cook "Red Chili Seared Salmon" or "Chipotle Shrimp". That doesn't mean the food isn't great... it is! Without tip or drinks we averaged about $16 each for a Sunday Brunch... very reasonable.

My husband and I get take out almost every Friday for a "date night" at home. I ALWAYS get the steak fajitas and my husband gets the Fajita quesadilla. Both are excellent. We've tried a few other dishes, but always return to these. I'm not sure if they still have it, but I had a vegetable quesadilla for lunch one time....HIGHLY recommend it! I'm not crazy about their desserts, but the margaritas are my dessert. The prices are a little high, but I love the atmosphere (when we eat there). It can be loud, but it makes us feel like we are hitting the town. hahaha Music on the weekends...love it.

We went to Cinco on a recent Saturday night and left very disappointed. When we arrived, there were three hostesses, yet no one greeted us. We had to ask for a table which seemed to be a problem, but then we were led to a rather large booth near the kitchen. Then the rush began. Drink orders taken, then appetizer and dinner within 5 minutes. No sooner was our appetizer "dumped" on our table they brought out our dinner - food on food, not good. My husband had the salmon which he hated and I had the chicken enchiladas which were good. The waitress wanted us out of that booth for a larger party (we assume) so bad she didn't even ask us if we wanted a second round of margaritas. All told we were in and out in 45 minutes. The sad thing is we would have waited for a smaller booth or table so they could keep the larger booth open for a bigger party, but we were never asked. I doubt we will ever go back there again.

Very good contemporary Mexican food with fantastic desserts. One of their best meals is the steak chimicanga, which tastes like a grilled steak, trimmed into strips, mixed with onions, peppers and spices, and rolled in a fresh chimicanga wrap. Mouth watering.... Or try the shrimp burrito with a light white wine sauce. But the best is the FLAN dessert, a light, layered dessert. Melts in your mouth. On the downside the place is very noisy - like all Cinco restaurants. The concrete floors and lack of sound absorbing material results in a very noisy place. The worse thing we experienced is a waiter putting the order book with our check into the back of his pants for ease of carrying. We refused to take the check until he took it out with his hands. WE mentioned how unclean we thought this practice was/is on our way out, so hopefully he will stop. Otherwise worth the visit. Two of us had entrees and sweet tea for $24 total plus tip. Not bad!

We love coming to Cinco's. It's not your average Mexican restaurant. It's a bit more upscale but still casual. Margaritas are great and food is very consistently good. One of our favorite places.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque.
