For me personally, this is the best Mexican you can get in Snellville, and they beat the vastly overrated and bland El Jinete by leaps and bounds. The menu is deep and prices are very reasonable. Great place to go for lunch too, as you can spend less than 10 dollars for a hearty meal. For starters, the chips and salsa are OK- pretty standard, tasty but not memorable. Another review I read here says they have a spicy salsa that you have to request, I will definitely remember that next time. In fact, I shouldn't even have to request it, they should offer it so people will know about it, but I digress.... Anyway, I highly recommend their Choriqueso (cheese dip with chorizo sausage bits), my favorite appetizer. As for dishes, I love their Pollo Fundido, Chipotle chicken, or their Chorizo chicken. The fajita quesadilla is huge and very tasty also. Their regular fajitas are pretty good too and will fill you up right. Service can be a bit hit or miss as far as attentiveness, but I have not had any egregiously horrible experiences though. As long as the quality can remain consistent, I will be a continuous customer. 4 stars!!

Little Mexico's quality and service have really gone south of the border. I've been going to this restaurant for a few years, but only once every few months. On my most recent trip, I noticed their service and quality had really gone down hill. The server did not offer to refill any of our drinks, we had to stop them just to get napkins, and their attitudes were not that great. Not rude, but not friendly like they used to be. The food is decent, but the salsa is junk. They do not use real salsa any more. They just use tomato sauce with some seasoning. It tasted more like Ragu than salsa. I think I'll try a few other Mexican restaurants before I go back here again.

Good food. They have a large menu more than your typical Mexican restaurant. Good margaritas.

I expected a little more, given the reviews I read here on Yelp and elsewhere. But while there was nothing obviously awful about Little Mexico, I am struggling for nice things to say. No good beers, cafeteria/food-court flavors, and about two dollars too pricey on each dish (for what you get). We found nothing exciting about the decor, staff or menu, and I suspect most of the food we got was pre-packaged. The steak in the steak burrito had a nice flavor but the rice and beans had none. I just can't think of why I would refer anyone here, and probably won't have a reason to return with so many other options in the area.

This is our fave Mexican restaurant, we eat here at least once a week! Great food at great prices... The service is quick, we love it!

This was the worst dining experience of my life. One of my friends works near this restaurant and suggested we go for dinner. Apparently, she had been there before several times and there were never any problems, but the place has clearly gone downhill. At first glance, this looks like a quaint, cute, hole-in-the-wall type place. The service wasn't bad, and all the people were friendly, but the food was HORRIBLE. I ordered a burrito with rice and beans, and none of it was even edible. The rice was simply completely tasteless. The beans tasted like they had been pureed and then sat out all day, and I'm almost positive that the chicken in my burrito wasn't really chicken. My friend and boyfriend both tried it and came to the same conclusion. If you like Mexican food (which I love), don't go here. This place just might change your mind.

Went last week had a great time. Food was decent but let's be honest we really do Mexican for the drinks and their margaritas were great. After a pitcher they gave us a shot of the house tequila it was the best shot I've tasted thus far

It seems to have inconsistent quality. One time there was good hot chicken soup and another time it was cold. One time the tacos had ground beef with what seemed to be no seasoning and another time it was great. Staff is consistently friendly.

Their chips and salsa are excellent. Request the spicy salsa - it is freaken hotttt! Chile poblano are a winner always here as they are stuffed with chicken. The chimichanga is also great. And don't forget the oversized margarita!

Went there for dinner; worst Mexican food I've had in a long time. Ordered the steak fajitas, veggies were bland and overlooked, steak strips were tough and rubbery. The margarita I ordered was "no bueno" either. Chicken soup was passable. Will not be going back.

I have been a very loyal customer and have frequented this restaurant several times each month over the last 4 years. However, tonight I was quite surprised to be turned away and not seated at 9:37pm and told that they were closing in 5 minutes.

over priced for portion. Taco salad was aweful, but the steak burrito was pretty good.

I've been here twice already and for a little Mexican restaurant I like it so far. The food is decent, the prices are reasonable and the food comes out fast. So far I've had good service as well. They have good deals for lunch too.

The food was bland. Added salt and salsa to everything and Mede it better. $2.25 for a side of rice I did not care for or eat. It was ok but I would not return for the food.

I grabbed a take out order from Little Mexico for lunch the other day. There are many lunch specials for under $10. I ordered the chicken chimichanga for around $6. Several disappointing experiences with lunch take out at various other restaurants have me always bracing myself for the worst. When the food came out in under 15 minutes, I was very impressed. When I found that they included chips, salsa, and plastic silverware without me having to ask, I was downright ecstatic. At this point, the food didn't even need to be good! No just kidding, the food always needs to be good, and it was. The chimichanga had one of the more bizarre filling to tortilla ratios that I've seen, but I didn't feel cheated. My only complaint was about the refried beans. Those definitely could've used a lot more flavor. I also like have lettuce and sour cream on top of my chimichangas, but I'll take what they gave me instead. Do you know what they gave me instead of lettuce and sour cream? Queso! They gave me a side of queso! Dude. Little Mexico is a great option for lunch. I'll probably be back to dine-in and explore the dinner menu. For now, I can very confidently recommend it for lunch.

I came here for the first time to try out. Alambre and Pollo Chorizo is over the top. So far the food is good and I hope they maintain like that.

Ordered 5 steak burritos today for myself and 4 workers. Nothing authentic about them, I'd say they were on same level as taco bell. Stay away. Bla!!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
