Still a great lunch deal... AAA Pearl is a great waitress too.

This local Thai place is probably the best 'bang for your buck!' I've eaten here numerous times and always leave with a satisfying feeling. The food quality is amazing with great portion size, plus the place is very clean! At first glance, it looks like a out of place restaurant in the corner with little to offer, but you have to come in and taste the food to fully appreciate the caliber of the quality. I love the way the curry taste and will be a long time customer of this establishment. And the staff is friendly and helpful with any menu items you don't know about.

The food is great here and the location, although a little divey, is certainly clean and passable. The service is good but a little anemic when stretched too thin during busy lunch hours. No real greeting, menus dropped on the way by, empty glasses a little longer than I would hope and no condiments on the table (sugar for my tea). Food is very good and made quickly to order, I had the massaman curry with the avacado and the flavor and portion size were perfect...very solid go-to lunch joint, I'll be back.

Went to Curry Curry Thursday afternoon for the first time and was really impressed with the food. This was while making a drive from Stone Mountain! Egg rolls were fantastic, as was the Cashew nut chicken. It was very busy at that time but the wait staff was still very friendly, helpful and provided good service. I wont make a special trip for it but if i'm anywhere near Smyrna again, i'm going!

Great food an outstanding service. I was at 6 flags and was looking for some good thai

Their curry has a very interesting aroma. I can't put my finger on it, but the aroma reminds me of a certain female body part. You know, The Rock's favorite type of pie (hint: vagina). It probably gives off that particular aroma because of the amount of fish sauce they use in their curry. I wonder if their curry dishes are unusually popular with men and some women. I tried their yellow curry and red curry, and both had that smell. Maybe if they glue some rhinestones on the plates, they can call it curry-jazzle. Anyway, besides the curry with the interesting smell, they have a decent selection of your Thai favorites. I'm not a Pad Thai connoisseur, but I like their Pad Thai. I don't normally eat Pad Thai because it usually needs a kick, but with a little bit of chili sauce, the Pad Thai becomes great. Yes, it tastes good without the chili sauce, but I'm Korean. I do like my spice. But why go through all that trouble when you can order their Pad Kee Mao? It's similar to the Pad Thai, but they add the chili for you. That's probably my favorite dish at Curry Curry. Well, besides the curry when I'm in a certain mood. The portions are huge. For instance, their basil friend rice is enough for two. I still finished it though. You get the right amount of food for what you paid for. It's a family business, and they have excellent staff and service. If you ever get stuck in the scary land of OTP near the Smyrna area, try this place out.

I tried the Satay Chicken which was bland and then Pad Kee Mao (Spicy Noodle) with Chicken as my entree. This dish was flavorful and spicy; very enjoyable. For dessert I tried the Sticky Rice with Mango, oh yeah. The rice was perfect and a great end to a boring meal.

Excellent Thai food in a little strip mall in Smyrna. Had dinner, and lunch here the following day. Food, presentation, and service was excellent - I highly recommend this place, and will certainly be back if I'm in the neighborhood.

Had lunch here about 2 weeks ago with Jang C, Hannah C, Daniel B, and Trevor M for the "Cobb Curry Lunch UYE" ( yelp.com/events/smyrna-c… ). It is really not all that convenient to any major highway nor the easiest place to find. Simply based on location alone, it's unlikely I'll be back. I got the Spicy Basil Beef, which comes with white rice and the smallest bowl of soup I have ever seen. For $8.45 pre-tip, it's not a bad price, but I thought the portion was just sliiiightly smaller than most other Thai places. The coconut soup was more watery than creamy, which is good if you're watching your waistline...though it's still completely possible that it's just lacking in flavor and not any lighter on calories. As for the Spicy Basil Beef, which I get 65% of the time at Thai restaurants, I was not impressed. The meat itself was tender but the sauce was overly salty and not at all spicy. On top of that, I had serious trouble locating actual basil leaves...I think I found 3 or 4. I would really like to think that I just ordered poorly, especially based on the other reviews here, but a restaurant that is truly good shouldn't even allow for that possibility. My 1st choice Thai in Atlanta will always be Thai Silk ( yelp.com/biz/thai-silk-t… ) in Buckhead, and my 2nd choice would probably be Top Spice ( yelp.com/biz/top-spice-t… ) in Smyrna. I'm not sure yet what number ranking to give Curry Curry...

Great place for Thai Food; it's low on ambiance though. At this establishment It's really about the food, which is cooked to order fairly quickly. It is consistently good...one can vary the spiciness and choose their favorite protein additive. The soups are very good as are the curries. The teriyaki is a bit too sweet for me and had a molasses flavor note. Portions are a bit on the large side. The staff is fast and friendly. In a strip center but worth the effort to seek out.

Good cuisine & friendly people. The service was nice also, better then the first time & didn't take too long. I will say the special green curry with Salmon, while very good, was a tink on the dry side so if your picky or don't like we'll done fish be warned. We tried a few appetizers this last time and I especially liked the shrimp rolls. The green Papaya salad had quite a kick! Cannot wait to try the coconut soup.

  • Dmitri R.

The food is terrible. The coconut soup was watery and had no spice or any taste. The worst green curry I've ever tried. It had just three small pieces of meat. Will never come back...

I ate here the other day after getting many recommendations to do so from co-workers. This place is very close to my office and is located in a retail strip center with Waffle House, Subway and Johnny's Pizza & Subs. I started off with coconut milk soup; it was excellent but was a very small portion. Served in a teacup size bowl and perhaps filled halfway. When my entrée came it was piping hot. I ordered the Pad Kee Mao, which consists of flat noodles in a spicy (two pepper spiciness rating) sauce with vegetable and choice of meat (for me chicken). Everything tasted fresh and my tongue was popping with delight. The portioning of the entrée was good and the price was right: less than nine bucks with tax and tip. I'm officially a fan.

1 star, only because couldn't give half stars. Terrible..where do I even start? Saw good reviews, so figured I'd do carryout from here since I was feeling lazy to cook. I got the Penang curry with tofu and veggies. Asked for it to be extra spicy. What I got was flavored water reminiscent of penang flavor with some veggies and silky tofu floating around in it. Curry sauce is not supposed to be of water consistency!! The portion itself was huge, it was just unfortunate that it had no flavor. I'm not sure if the server I placed the order with forgot to let the kitchen know I wanted it spicy, or worse- maybe that was their idea of spicy?! I find it sad that this place has such good reviews. I cannot believe anyone that knows Thai food (even mediocre thai food!) could rate this place favorably. I know it may seem harsh that I'm writing this place off after trying only one dish, but Penang is a pretty basic dish that any legit spot should be able to do right. (If you want Penang done right, go to Mali Thai in the highlands; it never disappoints. A bit pricey, but one meal at Mali is worth 10 meals here, taste wise.) Needless to say, I won't be coming here again.

My wife and I have been eating at Curry Curry periodically since we first began dating nearly seven years ago. The food is good, the prices reasonable, and the staff really friendly. My favorite dish is masaman curry with tofu, and I order brown rice (which costs a bit extra) to accompany it. The only thing I've ever ordered there which I didn't care for was their larb. It's near both the Silver Comet trail, and Heritage Park, so if you are at either of those sites, Curry Curry is worth a visit.

Great Thai Food! If you are looking for some of the best eats and hidden gems west of the perimeter, this restaurant is a place you should go to! I came here a week ago and dined in. My server was great from start to finish. The price is more than fair considering the portions were a lot larger than I expected. We started with the Seaweed Salad and Shrimp tempura. They were both delicious. I ordered the Pad See-U and it was so fresh and the flavoring was some of the best I've ever had. My girlfriend had the Massaman Curry and that was way better than any of the thai restaurants in the Smyrna/Mableton area. We finished with dessert...Mango with Sticky Rice...by far one of my favorite desserts. It was delicious, and the best part was that Curry Curry's portion was far more generous than any other thai restaurant. Overall, I am a fan and I recommend this restaurant to any one that is in the mood for Thai. If you want to have Thai food that tastes amazing then this is the place to go! Also, they have delivery service now! The days I work late and don't feel like cooking, I am definitely ordering from here! I hope this review helps anyone who is looking for some delicious Thai, whether you dine in, take out, or choose delivery!

I love Curry Curry. It's a great local restaurant that we visit almost every week. The staff are always kind and some even know you by name. My favorite dishes are the cashew chicken and pad see-ew.

We've lived in Smyrna for 2 years now and I've heard great things about Curry Curry, but it wasn't until last week that we finally gave it a try. What made me suddenly decide to eat here? I began drinking at 2 and was passed out until about 8 and woke up in desperate need of spicy hang over food. We came fairly late and the place was a bit empty but while we were eating multiple people came in to grab their take out orders. We started off with veggie egg rolls that were alright, scorching hot, but pretty good. For my entree I got the Pad Kee Mao-- this was seriously exactly what I needed! Thick noodles, spicy sauce, fried tofu, and a plethora of veggies= perfection! Upon leaving I told my boyfriend that from now on I'm just going to order to go food prior to drinking and have it home waiting for me when I need it. Can't wait to come back, and this adds another reason to why I love living in Smyrna.

Great service. Thai basil rolls really nice start. Light heat on the red curry. Had the cashew as well. Very affordable and good portions.

My panang chicken was reaallly good! It consisted of a large portion of creamy, sweet curry, with sweet peppers over a bed with warm rice and tender chicken breasts. However, my friend got the papaya salad and disliked it. Aftewards, he ordered a chicken pad thai and didn't like that either.... So, I'd recommend to stick with the curry here. The specials look good too so I'll have to check that out later.

This place is neary my office so I decided to take a chance and try it. I love love love Top Spice and I didn't think this place had a chance to measure up. And they didn't. I ordered the Green Curry with chicken for the lunch special. Got back to my office and I looked at it. In a big box the few pieces of chicken and veggies looked like they were drowning in sauce. It looked to me like it was a child's portion. But no, it was just their serving sizes. I still did get the box of rice to go along. I don't really care about rice anyway, I wanted the chicken and veggies. For 6.95 (or 7,95, I don't remember) I wanted a decent meal. This wasn't. I don't usually complain about portion size, but this was kind of ridiculous. As for the food itself it wasn't bad. The curry was a little watery but when you add a pound of rice to it, it thickens up.

This is one of those local Thai places where I actually wish they would put a take-out menu in my mailbox. The prices are good, service was quick, the portions are large, and I was happy. Fat and happy. Not one thing we ordered was disappointing. The "Thai Hot Wings" were very, very crispy and sat in what reminded me of a sweet and sour sauce. Not very hot but still good. Our Green Curry and Pad Kee Mao dishes did have the kind of heat that says "Hey, I'm that kind of Thai-hot that will slowly creep up on you. Sucker." The Tom Yum is up to par but might have been a little temperature-cold for my tastes. It wasn't terribly busy but had a steady stream of take-out and eat-in patrons. The staff was neighborhood-friendly, particularly to a small child (of a guest) that ran around the place, occasionally screaming. Normally that would bother me except for the hilarious fact that he would drop his food on the floor, pick it back up, and eat it; this all without the parents being aware, enjoying their own food. Oh, and I grabbed a take-out menu on the way home.

I have given this place 2 trys. The first time I had Pad Thai, which was mediocre. I sat outside the first time, and it was a great environment. The second time i went, i had Massaman Curry, which was the worst curry i have ever had in my life. It didn't help the the restaurant had an overwhelming smell of cheap cleaning fluid (the person i went with didn't want to sit outside cause it was hot). The Thai iced tea was also not that great. I will not return to this place, the food was not great -- definitely overpriced for what you got.

I enjoy this Thai place, and will be a frequent customer thanks to the perfect location so close to my home. It's not my favorite in Atlanta, but it does the trick. Here's what I've noticed in the 3 or 4 times I've been there: Egg rolls - superb and saucy. Curries - good in a pinch, though a bit weak. Rice dishes - not bad... er, ricy. Tom yum soup - too salty, not enough lemongrass for my taste. Service - fast and friendly, though they were very eager to kick us out before closing. Atmosphere - very casual. Price - around $10 a dish.

As a world traveler from my days of touring in a band, to documentaries for TV , Ive had the pleasure and displeasure of incredible eats on the streets of West Africa to the Finer Snob filtered Restos of NYC, Paris, London to the peasant food of SE Asia and beyond.. As a local resident to Atlanta, well at least for the next 6 months.. me , my wife who is SE Asian and my son have a passion for Cycling.. so we head to the Silver Comet trail.. on our way back home , famished, we decided to give Curry Curry a try.. Ok the previous review on ambiance I couldn't care less about, as I have had amazing food in what looks like someone's outdoor patio on the streets of Northern Thailand, Vietnam or Philippines for that matter..what does matter is the Chef and their recipe, use of quality ingredients and freshness of local produce. Here comes the food: What we ordered: Massaman Curry/Chicken : Thai hot, Pad Thai and Thai Dumplings, Rice. Yikes what is this?. Cheap ingredients, not fresh, not Hot, not good!. Pad thai was less than stellar. Was a bit sour to taste. My Massaman was not the Massaman , but was watered down coconut milk with some chicken thrown in..Dumplings were ok.. As a big storm blew in their outside umbrellas started to fly away, as that happened the waitress , who already looked as if she wanted to leave when we arrived was not a happy camper.. out cam two mexican guys, one looked like a cook. Oh Man so now they are using Mexicans to cook traditional Thai food.. that explains it.. People there are better choices for thai in Atlanta thats for sure.. but when famished again I think the Waffle house next door might be a better option.. save yourself the bread either bring a bento box for dinner or drive on by Curry Curry..even when in a hurry!

I gave this place two stars because my wife likes them. I thought the food was barely edible and borderline disgusting. Worst thai food ever! The Tom Kha soup was like water and had a really weird, super sweet taste; I couldn't finish it, thinking I would save room for my entree. I got massaman curry, just to be safe, but the cook used the same watery mixture from the Tom Kha soup for the massaman curry. EXACTLY THE SAME, just lots of rice, a little chicken, like 5 cashews (...if....) and a whole slew of potatoes. I had to pay $1.50 for them to put avocado in it, which I passed on, and it wouldn't have saved the dish any way. The only good part about the meal were the spring rolls... they rocked.

Holy freaking crap! The size of the bowl my pad Thai came it was HUGE, enough for at least 3 small meals. It was ok could have used a bit more sauce or something. The tom yum soup was nice and spicy...just how I like it. And the sticky rice with mango was heavenly .( so much so that I now just make it at home) We also had the appetizer of mamasan curry with roti for dipping-delicious! The service was friendly, and the food pretty good.

The sign touting Atlanta's Best Thai hooked us as we drove down the E-W connector, but it must either be really old or as voted by the staff! We all sampled the curries and a few of the soups, and they all seemed to lack something. The hot and sour soup was more like a broth and it had a distinct fishy tatse and was really salty; no one finished it. I had the green curry and while it had a lotof flavor, it was too runny and lacked the silkiness most good curries have. The pad thai and other noodle dishes were good, but there are too many other Thai places to go out of the way for this one

Best Curry in Town!!! I hit up Curry Curry for carry out at least once, maybe twice a week and they're always fabulous!!! Other places may have an off night where the service is lacking or the food isn't as good, but never Curry Curry. The service is fantastic and the food is impeccable! I've been to the most expensive Thai restaurants in Atlanta, including Nan, and though Nan may have the exquisite ambiance, Curry Curry beats them head over heels in taste and service. I highly recommend this place! Enjoy!

I love me some Curry Curry!! I always get the chicken and shrimp Pad Thai, medium spicy. They can cater to your level of spice from none to Thai spice, which I hear is pretty brutal. The waiters in there are so sweet and service is super fast. We usually get the basil rolls as an app, then some sweet sticky rice w/ mango to go. Mmmmmm, I want some now!!

I really can't wait to go back to this restaurant. I can have my spicy noodle dish and my wife can have something not as spicy. Thai is better than Chinese any day. Especially here. Great prices too! Worth a try!

Since moving here in 2005 I have been on a quest to find a good, reasonably priced Thai food place with good take-out. I am a fan of Tamarind Seed downtown but not the hefty prices. I have finally located my neighborhood Thai food spot appx 8 miles away. The service is quick and the prices are reasonable. My favorite dishes so far have been: pad kee mao (spicy noodles), shrimp rolls and yellow curry. Only issue I have had is they close between lunch and dinner. This past weekend I actually waited 20 minutes in their parking lot for them to reopen. I guess I was really in need of a fix. They didn't fail to deliver.

When they say do you want that hot or Thai hot be careful what u wished for. The food is fresh the girls are great and the Red curry as good as it gets. The two soups 1. The chicken coconut 2. The hot spicy shrimp are both in my tops list from any place.. Can't go wrong starting with the Basil rolls Mmm Mmm! Still many things to try. And I can't wait... I give them thumbs up on service, taste and friendliness.Top shelf in my book

Great place with huge portions of food. I love the basil rolls. I think this place has the cleanest silverware I have ever seen in a restaurant. Fresh herbs and vegetables in every dish. Owner is very nice and I am a customer for life.

The food here is really great! I am a curry girl and each time the curry is perfect! On our most recent visit they had ROTI as a special appetizer and I must say it was delicious. The portion was small but none the less it was good. As far as the main course we always take food home because they give you so much! I love it!! The prices are also reasonable. If you are looking for great Thai Food in Smyrna try this place.

the location on lower roswell road boasts a sign "voted best in Atlanta"...don't you just love a good laugh! Keep driving, there are so many great restaurants. Unless, of course, you enjoy grumpy, non-existent "service" of tasteless food served in a room that smells like cheap cleaning fluid.

i am giving this place a 3 stars because my appetizer was either pre fried or over cooked the service was good and my dish was ok i got the drunken noodles i had high hopes it was good but did not blow me away. my wifes dish was better. i will go back and i will

Good food, good prices. I tried what I think was called the spicy basil chicken fired rice. It was delicious, HUGE serving. However, on the menu, it had a two chili spice rating. It wasn't spicy at all. I did ask for the dish without any green bell peppers, maybe they thought I meant no spice. Whatever. My GF had the Panang Curry. It was good and a generous serving. I have to say, the highlight was the soup they served before the meal. It had a flavor like nothing else I have tried before. Coconut milk base with mushrooms. Wasn't spicy, just intensely flavorful.

Wait, did I just wolf down my lunch in like 5 minutes?! Yes. And it's not because I was rushed for time. It was simply because the food was just so Friggin' good!!! I haven't been here in a while, so I got a pretty huge craving that I could no longer deny. Teetering between the choice of the old faithfuls, I decided to be unpredictable and trek off the beaten path to discover something new: Veggie Ginger Stir-fry. Good LORD!!! Just Amazing! The fresh veggies (zucchini, onion, red & green bell peppers, carrots, bean sprouts, baby corn, fresh mushrooms, ginger strips) were piled high in a ginger sauce that was not shy! It was a little spicier than I would have imagined (spice = good) and so delicious! I found myself eating...wait, not eating...SHOVELING all of the rice in my cheeks just so I could get more taste of the sauce! The other thing that I really like about CurryCurry is the fact that their food is less greasy than most. To me, it tastes cleaner and fresher than a lot of other Thai restaurants I've tried. None of that sticky-sweet goop. Just pure bliss. 5 stars (adjusted for inflation).

This is a great little Thai restaurant located off the East West Connector. They also have a small patio area to enjoy warmer weather. The portion sizes are incredible! Living on the west side of town as vegetarians, we are often left with the choice of: pizza or Mexican? We were so happy to find a Thai place that rocks it. They get pretty busy on weekend nights and the service can lag a bit, but the staff is always smiling.

This is a great Thai restaurant! They have one of the best basil fried rice dishes (with tofu) in town. Takeout orders are always super fast and the staff have always been very friendly and helpful. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that pretty much every time we order food from there, my wife gets really bad stomach pains. It may be from the spicy food or something else. I never have a problem. I'm also sad to say that their pad thai isn't as good as Thai Diner's version. Nonetheless, it's a great thai place and has a great location for those in the area craving something new & fresh.

Been going here since they opened. Great staff. Great food. Family friendly. Highly recommend. I always get one of their curries, which are fantastic. Dine in or get it to go. Great place. Tell your friends. Don't be the last people in Smyrna to give this place a try.

I'm glad to see a good Thai place in Smyrna finally. Portion sizes are decent and the quality is good. I've enjoyed everything I've ordered so far. Haven't had any of the noodle dishes yet though. I've been rather disappointed with other Thai places I've tried so I'm happy this place opened up.

I decided to try this restaurant after all the reviews on here and well driving by it every day. Very happy to have found a Thai place that is so close to where I live. The coconut soup was to die for. Large pieces of chicken and the broth was delicious. I could have just eaten that. The entrees were good as well. I would have liked a little more spice, but that's just me. The portions are large and the leftovers heat up well the next day.

I just left this place and I need to open the top button on my jeans. Take someone with you and share!!! I had the Panang Chicken and it was truly very good, the white meat chicken was not overly cooked and the Panang sauce was Great. The rice was lite and fluffy and had salt in it, just really good. Terriyaki Chicken is worth a try too. When they brought out the serving platters I waited for plates------, "the serving platters of food turned out to be the plates." Normal prices, Biggggg servings.

We like to try thai food all over atlanta, so based on the reviews decided to give it a try. Wow, what a disappointment. Drove all the way from Druid hills area on a Saturday night, the place was virtually empty, not a good sign for a weekend night. Decided to stay. Servers were friendly. Basil rolls ok. Ordered a yellow curry dish and it was the one of the most disgusting things I have ever been served. I don't know if they used too much fish sauce or shrimp paste but it also had a chemical smell and taste. It smelled terrible just sitting in front of me and i could only take a small bite. I eat curries regularly and all over the country and this has to be the strangest, worst curry dish I have ever had. Told the server I could not eat it. And to top things off, whoever was in the kitchen cooking was coughing the entire time. You couldn't see because of the screen, but it was obvious whoever was behind the scenes in the kitchen was coughing over food being prepared. I don't think most of these reviews on here are legit or they have just never had good thai food.

The food and service is great here. The Tom Yum is the best I've tried around town. I try to eat here once a week, more if I'm lucky. All the food I've had: Thai hot wings, soup, spring rolls, rice dishes rock.

Is light, freshly cooked Thai food. It's family run, and the family is fantastic! Try one of the noodle dishes - I'd suggest the 'drunken' spaghetti over the pad thai if you're feeling adventurous. This is a neighborhood restaurant for me and their consistency, food quality, and friendliness always bring us back.

Curry Curry is a gem. It's very obscurely tucked into the corner of a small shopping center, but the food is worth the exploring needed to find it! The Thai tea is legendary. You MUST treat yourself to a glass. I ordered some sort of curry (imagine that!) and rice dish for my entree. That was excellent. I was worried that the portions here wouldn't meet my needs, but they far exceeded my expectations.

Set yourself up with a thai tea the second you walk in to this place. Flavor wise, it ain't anything more extraordinary than a canned thai tea (which is still pretty damn good), but they practically give you a pint of that shit where most Thai places put a shot on ice. Basil rolls are better than average although a bit small and the roti bread appetizer I got was disappointing. The bread itself rocked but it came with a side of curry that was too runny to use with the bread and clearly just came out of a pot from some other dish. Found a solitary potato slice hiding in it. The main course (curry curry noodle) was presented well and was basically a take on chicken tom kha where they took away the mushrooms and added ground peanuts and noodles. I remember this dish being amazing when I got it about a year ago, but this time it was a bit bland for something so creamy. Bottom of my broth was more flavorful than the top, but the portions are so large I was full by the time I got to it. Overall still pretty solid for a 10 dollar meal. Service wasn't too bad, but no one ever asked if I wanted anything for dessert or a refill on my tea. They were attentive to the water but I was totally willing to spend more money had they asked. Some guy that had previously been skulking around in the back and sitting at a table watching TV brought my check and rang me out after our waitress dissipated. No explanation and still no damn fried ice cream. Oh well.

Just caught our eye and the name stuck on our head. We stopped and the Basil Red Snapper made us a fan. See you soon! Awesome service too!!!!

Basic, mediocre, semi bland thai food, and it's pricey for the amount of food. The customer service is a 3 out 5. The food is a 2 out of 5. I spent $40 on lunch and wished I went to a chain pizza place instead. I've had authentic Thai food and this is a "mcdonalds" version of thai. I've made better thai at home. Huge disappointment! There are better thai places like top spice (Cumberland or midtown) or thaicoon (atlanta)that have more flavor and more appealing.

Food was superb! We ordered the Spicy noodles and massaman curry. Both were prepared perfectly! Food came out so quick, which was the best thing because I know I was starving after a long day of work! If you're looking for a nice family owned Thai restaurant that cares about service, then definitely come here. After looking at the other reviews I noticed that the reviews weren't really exact. A+ Definitely coming back soon!!!

Overall this was a bit of a disappointment. I am not sure if it is because I lived in California where the Asian food is phenomenal, or what, but we just weren't impressed. When we try a new place we always order some staple items. Yellow Curry - really hard to mess up, and it just want very good. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't as creamy as what I am used to. Could just be personal preference, but I wasn't all that impressed. Thai tea - delicious, cant go wrong Mango and sticky rice - underwhelmed. It was ok, the mango was ripe, but the rice was kind of tough and was more like a puck of rice that took a bit of effort to get apart. It may be due to the fact that we did take-out, but I still wasn't all that excited about it Pot stickers- these were actually very good. We got them fried, and the filling was tasty. The staff is SUPER NICE though which is really nice and they have good specials on beer.

Found this spot through Yelp as Thai of Austell (which is 100 times better) wasn't open for Saturday lunch. Pros: no frills interior, cheap lunch prices Cons: THE FOOD and THE SERVICE! I ordered roti bread with Massaman Curry and the curry was HORRIBLE it was watery as other yelpers have said but the taste was so bad hubby and I both had the "do I spit it out or swallow it" face. No good do not order! The food looked excellent when it arrived Panang Curry for me and Basil leaf with ground chicken for hubby. The food was ok, nothing to write home about. They got hubby's order wrong and my food was near cold by the time they fixed his order (it was adding a fried egg and it took almost 8 mins to get his plate back). The food was just ok and honestly I'd rather pay $2 more and get something with more flavor and less runny. Hubby said his food was ok but has so much watery spicy basil sauce he felt like he had a soup. The service was odd, slow and didn't really care. Our table and two others got our appetizers and one table their food before they got their drinks. Hubby had a coke and I had water how hard is that to make? Also took forever to get the check and there were only 3 tables eating including ours! Given the long delay for getting water (when I mentioned upon sitting please hurry with water), the unpalatable appetizer, wrong order and delay and correcting and general lacking service from staff I am generously giving a 3 star but I won't be back and should really be 2 but as hubby liked his watery dish I'm being generous.

Food is OK, but service needs improvement. It is very slow for a Thai place, they run out of things, , and let you last minute (when they bring the food). Carry out is OK, but dining in not worth the price.

Dissappointing lunch. Tried drunken spaghetti - was really salty, watery and not spicy at all. My friend had basil fried rice and it was equally disappointing.

Wow. I'm at a loss for words. This place, without a doubt, has the best Massaman Curry. Seriously, it's freaking amazing. There, I said it. I've had my fair share of Massaman's but I had no idea that the flavor profile could ever achieve an astronomical level like this and believe me, I savored every second of it. The flavors were, should I say, perpetual. It was like I kept getting hit with non-stop uppercuts of all these flavors. Throughout it all, I still managed to do the head nod each time I brought the spoon to my mouth. Have you ever ate something that was just so darn delicious that you were in absolute awe? Yep, that was me thirty minutes ago and I'm still smiling from it. I kept asking myself over and over how in the world could something like this taste so good?! I give the ladies that were in the kitchen all of the credit in the world because they hit this one out of the park. Thank you so much, you've got yourself a loyal customer! Also worth noting: excellent customer service. The gentleman who waited on us was very polite and friendly.

Tried this place for lunch. The pad thai was greasy, but overall tasted ok...but then there was the massaman curry. I rarely say something at a restaurant is disgusting...but this curry left an after taste of vomit in my mouth. I've never had massaman curry this bad, and I've had a lot of massaman curry. The service was very nice and quick. They servers are the only reason this place gets 2 star.

I love this place... Every time I come to ATL I try to hit this place for lunch. Big fan of the basil roll to start and the Pad Kee Mao for lunch. Prices are great and the service is awesome. Food comes out fast, hot and fresh. Highly recommended!

Neighborhood gem! When in mood for good thai cuisine without the pretentiousness of a fancy place, this is the best option. From scrumptious entrees to down to earth and friendly service, this eatery has got it all. The Pad ke Mao and spicy basil leaves are my favorite.

I love this place. The service is excellent, some waiters actually remember me and my preferences. My grandson loves it too. There is a plastic pumpkin containing small toys he can choose one or two. He eats really well here and he's picky. Everything consistently fresh and well prepared.

Love this place!!!! We usually don't eat here we take it to go, but I think it is better if you sit and enjoy it there. The hubby and I always do an order of the shrimp rolls which come with this AMAZING sauce. We do the basil fried rice which is great and my FAV is the Pad See-U. I usually do it with shrimp but it is good with the beef too! I rank how good a Thai place is based on whether or not they serve mango with sweet sticky rice. If they don't serve it I won't eat there. This place does my FAV mango sticky rice. The mangos are always so juicy and ugh it is good. Try it you have to get it. I hate that my husband INSISTS we share it. FYI DO NOT TAKE IT TO GO! Much better if you eat it fresh. Kind of pricey but sometimes they have coupons. I like it though! Enough food for the both of us and for one of us to take to lunch the next day.

The atmosphere and service is great. The teriyaki stir fry was really sweet and reminded me of maple syrup and wasn't spicy. I will probably come back and try something different next time.

My wife & I ate at Curry Curry on Saturday evening of Columbus day 2014. We were seated as soon as we entered. Got the menus. Even though green tea was not on the menu the waitperson said they can brew a pot. So we ordered one. but it was a mix of jasmine and green which was okay However the tea was below steaming hot. add to that the five ceiling fans and the air con in an empty restaurant (Sat night) the tea in the pot was down to room temp when we poured a second cup. We ordered Pad Kee Mao, we asked for spicy but it was light on the spice. Crispy catfish in Panang curry sauce - catfish was bit over cooked; the batter way too thick and the curry was poured into the dish and then the fish was placed on top. We had spoon the curry over the fish to soften up the too crispy batter. Chicken in spicy basil leaves was better than the other dishes. Might go again; since Thai take out (or delivery) never tastes the best, will order a shrimp or chicken dish instead of fish.

I am not a big fan of thai food, but this place is amazing , small place cozy feels like a family, their staffs are friendly good thing food is cooking right front of you. I have tried pretty much everything on their menu, every time I have been there I always order their fried rice owner's daughter knows how to cook and serve she makes the best fried rice I always get chicken baby corn, jalapeño, cucumber, bamboo, peppers and make sure put the hot sauce in the fried rice instead of on the side. I recommend everyone who haven't been to this place, so far best thai place in Atlanta...

  • Sarah C.

I got red curry, and it was bland. Who makes BLAND red curry? It was so weird...the sauce had almost no taste at all, and wasn't the slightest bit spicy. The spring rolls were ok, but I won't be going back.

This restaurant opened it's door to customers during the Snowpocalyse that stopped Atlanta in its tracks for days. They allowed us to wait out the storm as long as we needed out of the kindness of their hearts. Not only that, but they served us drinks and food throughout the night when the next best option was sleeping in our cars wondering how much longer it could take to be able to drive... FORGET THE SNOWPOCALYPSE, NOW ONTO THE FOOD... Their Panang curry that I ordered was creamy and had a really rich flavor along with their Tom Kha Kai soup that is one of the first I've enjoyed in Atlanta so far (one that isn't watered down and bland). ALL IN ALL: GREAT FOOD, ONE OF A KIND SERVICE!

LOVE Curry Curry. I always get the Cashew Nut and add Tofu to it (crispy) and I get a side of sweet and sour sauce to put on there also. The fried tofu appetizer is delicious also- the sauce comes with peanuts too. :) And beer is half off Monday-Friday so that's another plus. Good service, calm atmosphere. I go there once a week at least with my coworkers. It's quick and delicious and I recommend it to anyone.

I really wish I could give more stars because this place is so close to home and the staff is so nice but the food gets the 3 stars. The fried tofu was over cooked and on the hard side. The noodle dishes all taste the same because of the amount of brown sauce they use. The coconut soup was very watery and didn't have much flavor. The place down the road called Pad Thai has better tasting food, I'd stick with them and pass on curry curry.

I've tried Curry Curry Thai twice and so far I have not been pleased with the food. I tried two of the most popular Thai dishes that they offered which is the yellow curry and pad Thai with chicken. The yellow curry was very runny almost soupy like and the pad Thai was a weird light color instead of the orange color that I'm used to. The sauce and the chicken were very bland in the pad Thai, it was not appetizing at all. Both dishes lacked the right consistency of the authentic Thai dishes I'm used. I ordered the food to go twice and threw both dishes away after having only a few bites. I do have to say that the staff was excellent, I wish I could say the same for the food.

One of the best Thai restaurants I've eaten in. They have a good balance of sweet and spicy. I've had sweetened Thai tea in other places and it's always too sweet. There's was perfect. The coconut milk soup was also very well balanced creamy and refreshing. The portion sizes are great and they are using halal meat. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was clean and comfortable. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes.

Went for lunch after a friend who lives opposite to the restaurant swore by the quality.Ordered spicy basil leaves with chicken-rubbery chicken like the kind steamed in a pot thrown in with a thin watery sauce.Satay was cooked but the paste on it was still raw.friends ordered red curry chicken and cashew chicken and felt the same as me. (Just for comparison I would consider top spice in vinings to be rated 4 star)

There comes a time in a yelpers life when you run across a restaurant that totally misses the mark. Food was not good at all. Staff didn't seem to care if you liked the food or not. I consider myself well versed on Thai food. Definitely the worst tasting Thai food ive ever had.

I had lunch at Curry Curry Thai yesterday with Jang C, Hannah C, Amaryllia L, and Trevor M for the "Cobb Curry Lunch UYE" ( yelp.com/events/smyrna-c… ). If it wasn't for the Cobb lunch UYE, I probably would've never eaten here since this restaurant is far from where I live and work. There are two Curry Curry locations: this one in Smyrna and another one in Marietta on Lower Roswell Rd. This location faces the East-West Connector, but you turn into the shopping complex off Highlands Ridge. If you are traveling west on the East-West Connector, you will never see Curry Curry from the road. Just turn into the shopping complex and make your way to the far end of the Waffle House and you'll find the restaurant hidden behind there. I don't think it's the best location. Curry Curry is a small, clean, casual, strip mall-type Thai restaurant. Minimal interior decor and a few tables outside inside a gated concrete patio. Their lunch menu is affordable with many entrees costing only $6.95 each. These entrees include all the standard Thai curry, rice, and noodle dishes. Since I was at "Curry Curry," I decided to try a curry -- green curry with coconut milk, bamboo shoots, red and green peppers, zucchini, and basil leaves. The lunch entrees come with a choice of coconut soup or salad. I like the Thai restaurants that include this automatically because some places charge extra (boo). Curry Curry and Lemon Grass do it right. I thought the portion sizes were small for both the soup and the entree. Of course, these were probably the appropriate portion sizes if you asked a nutritionist. The soup size was very small -- the smallest of any Thai restaurant I've seen. It was nice and sweet, however, and one of the better coconut soups in town. The green curry was also good. The restaurant made it seem like one of the spiciest dishes on the menu (two red pepper symbols next to it), but I didn't think it was spicy at all. The curry had good flavor and was fragrant. I also sampled Jang's pad kee mao, which are stir-fried flat rice noodles (a.k.a. drunken noodles). Pretty good as well. The servers were very attentive and I enjoyed the meal and the company. #Yelp365 - 56/365

I ate lunch here with a friend recently. The atmosphere is nothing spectacular, but I thought the food was good. I ordered Pad See-U with chicken and it was pretty yummy. The sweet Thai sauce had a really nice flavor. The service was pretty good and the price was right. Nothing to complain about.

Typically I go to Bangkok Thyme when I am craving Thai food but decided to try this place since scout mob had a 50% off deal. Basil fried rice- pretty good but not much veggies/meat; mainly rice. Coconut soup- Unlike Bangkok Thyme you only get this soup with the lunch special if you are dining in. If you are getting take out lunch speacial you dont get the soup. Egg rolls were pretty good. One thing I don't like about this restaurant is they charge you for sides of sauce such as sweet and sour sauce. All in all the 50% off deal made my visit here worth it but I definitely wouldn't pay full price for the food here

I was craving Thai food, so the hub and I decided to try Curry Curry Thai for takeout. Not too bad. Great in a pinch for sure, and servings are pretty good. Interestingly enough, on their takeout menu it says: "Tell Us What You Want, And We'll Make It!" Kinda curious about putting that to the test, but prolly won't. -------------- Tom Kha w/ (silken) Tofu - A lot of people are complaining that their "coconut soup" is bland and watery. It's not as rich or complex as some places I've been to, but it was flavorful enough. I'd order it again. Tom Yum - Unfortunately, this was just effin' inedible. Way, way *too* salty. After a few spoonfuls, we threw the whole thing out. Red Curry w/ (fried) Tofu - A little heavy on the fish sauce, based on the aroma. Otherwise, pretty standard and tasty. Massaman Curry w/ Chicken - Tastes more like Indian curry than Thai curry, but was still good. Don't think I'd order this again though, cos I'm picky with Massaman curry. Papaya Salad - Solid portion size, with a wedge of cabbage that I think is unnecessary, but tastes good.

I ordered delivery from this place and was highly disappointed. The wings were scrawny and over cooked. The hot and sour soup was pretty good if the shrimps weren't mushy. Oh, and they should probably write on the menu which dishes contain peanuts. I definitely won't be coming back

Not sure what happened to this place. I'm being generous and giving them 3 stars but it should be more like 2.5. I used to love coming here for the pad thai, papaya salad and fried wings. But my last visits left a bad taste in my mouth - literally. They are over seasoning everything, the curry is not good, everything is just a bit too salty! There's a much better Thai restaurant just around the corner and I've been going there instead...

One of the BEST Thai places in Metro Atlanta. I can't say enough good things about this place. From the food to the service , EVERYTHING is top notch. It's not hard to tell that this family owned business takes pride in their culture , which is definitely shown through in the quality of their food! I am a huge thai food fan so we decided to try this place out since it is near our place. We went for dinner on a Friday night and it was not that packed. Coconut soup-Delicious Spring rolls-Very crispy and the sauce went very well together Panang Curry-A bit watery, but very delicious Pad Kee Meow-Not the best PKM I have had in the past. Just OK. Thai Iced Tea-YUM! Something that annoyed us a bit was that EVERY SINGLE waiter who worked that night came to check on us literally every 3 minutes asking us if everything was ok. A little overboard, but I guess it's better than not being taken care of. Overall, majority of the food we ordered were pretty delicious and we will definitely go back for our future thai cravings.

Simple suburban Thai food, convenient location and a great staff make Curry Curry a neighborhood favorite. The food is straight forward; great for a Thai good novice, but won't blow you away if you are have a more sophisticated palate.

I love this place. The service is excellent, some waiters actually remember me and my preferences. My grandson loves it too. There is a plastic pumpkin containing small toys he can choose one or two. He eats really well here and he's picky. Everything consistently fresh and well prepared.

Oh well.

No frills about this place, but they do Thai food right. Great prices and my husband and I both had enough leftover for another meal. Food came out lightning quick as well

Fantastic and delicious dinner! I could not wait to leave a 5-star review for this restaurant. The food is prepared fresh and a portion that will satisfy your hunger! The owner is super friendly and sweet! You cannot go wrong eating at Curry Curry Thai!

There comes a time in a yelpers life when you run across a restaurant that totally misses the mark. Food was not good at all. Staff didn't seem to care if you liked the food or not. I consider myself well versed on Thai food. Definitely the worst tasting Thai food ive ever had.

Really great Thai food and worth driving even if you are not in Smyrna. Very clean & friendly staff that even remember your order. Fresh food & they are flexible if you would like a substitution. Takeout is also easy & packaged well.

Enjoy!
