Wow. This place sucks. The beer is not cheap; I felt like taking down their sign since they certainly don't deserve it. We ordered two Jack and Cokes which were $15 and were quite possibly the weakest drinks I've ever received from a bar. There's only one bathroom for everyone that's there. To top it off the guy cooking in the kitchen didn't bother to change out the grease which had gone bad and within 10 minutes we walked out smelling like a giant grease fryer trap. The bands were ok. For the money I would avoid this place. Especially when places like "Abe's" on Lincoln street are so close by.

Hungry while wondering river street can sometimes cause you to go into food overload... and make you ask yourself at which of these fine establishments should I eat?... Then like a beacon in the night you see the warehouse and their delicious burgers marinated in sweet water beer and Worcestershire sauce. This place is delicious and also really cheap! The beer is probably the cheapest in Savannah and the burgers will leave a taste in your mouth that you will crave for the next 30 years. Overall The warehouse gets my nod for great grub on River Street!

My first experience with mixed drinks in Savannah happened at the Warehouse. I was enticed by the doorman to try the famous Auxiliary punch. He threw out words like strong, tasty, and free souvenir cup. He had me at the last bit. So, I wandered in and ordered one. At first, I was taken aback by it being $8. Then again, it is River Street, so everything is taxed for ambiance. But hey, free cups are great too. I truly understand the price. One of these will have you feeling bubbly all night. It tastes a bit like a Long Island, but with an added hint of bad decisions. I've never ordered anything else from The Warehouse. Once you find a good thing, you kind of stick to it. It's a fun spot with live music, cool bartenders and one hell of a door guy. All the free cups I've collected over time make awesome lemonade jugs and interesting conversation starters.

OK guys, c'mon...is it reeeeaaally the cheapest beer on the boardwalk? (secret: it's not! Go to the River Street liquor and get some beers to go! 425 E River St) OK, still, this is a good place to pop in, get filled up, and pop out. It's the filling station. For your plastic tank, that goes in your hand. Shockingly good beer on tap for a place that seemed like a frat party full of chug-friendly kegs. Prices were also decent, given the area. (not the best though...)

This is one of my favorite places in the entire country. And yes I do travel a lot. I absolutely love the shrimp here. Every time I visit, I tell the staff "I came to town for the shrimp... from NJ..." and they laugh, but now after seeing me 5 or 6x the last few years, I think they're beginning to figure out I'm serious. lol. The sauce (or boil) that they are served in is amazing. I could eat it with a spoon. I always order mine with extra. Knock back a pound of shrimp with a cold beer (or a strong drink-- they don't really make them any other way) and take in the sights and sounds of a bustling River Street. Bonus: the musical acts that rotate through are usually awesome and they can always get a game on if your team is playing. All in all, a super fun escape from the ubiquitous white tablecloths of Savannah.

Definitely the cheapest beer but they need to work on their customer service. I would have given it zero stars if it weren't for the great prices. What happened to the southern hospitality? This place has never heard of it.

  • Rob H.

We stopped by for "Beers to go" since you are able to walk the street with your drink as long as it's in a plastic cup. Good cold beers, served quick on River St. This place isn't very big, but it makes up for it in other ways. The food is decent, mostly fried, but good. Beer prices are about average for the area, unless you catch their weekday happy hour. It is great for a couple of cold beers along the river. Atmosphere is like a cave with a bar. Add a few friends, bar food and some music and you've got good times.

  • Christa R.

The drink prices are great. The bartender treated my bf not so nice :( Angry Orchard on Tap! Oh yeah and $3.00 margaritas...sooo we came back, great live music and ....angry orchard on tap ;)

    (2)
  • Amy Z.

Love the open air feel, but boy does it smell like grease! I'm definitely a lover of fried foods, but smelling like it after not even eating any? Eek. Service was great though - really friendly & beers were cold!

    (4)
  • Patrick K.

Great staff. Everyone was very friendly and engaging. Loved the location and the prices were great.

  • Kelli B.

It's a great place to get a cold, delicious Illusive Traveler Grapefruit Ale but they have over 20 beers on tap! I had the Veggie Blackbean burger --Fire in the Hole -- with the tater tots. It was fabulous--the best veggie burger ever! My hubby loved his beef burger too. The bartender Sarah remembered us from the night before & knew what beers to serve us. The bouncer remembered us too -- everyone very friendly! It's a bit of a dive but very nice -- just the rustic style makes it "divish". Don't miss this place when on the waterfront in Savannah!

Dark , dirty looking place. Typical local looking bar in the middle of the chaotic area. Today was a buy day at river street. (Not sure how other days are since today was my 1st day there ) but this place wasn't packed. Decided to go there for dinner because of the review saying "live music " ... There weren't a band . there was a guy singing. He was pretty good. When he wasn't playing they do have on good music like rolling stones, red hot chili pepper , nirvana etc... We ordered Ruben and cheese steak sandwich and fries. It was a good greasy bar food. They cooked it right. They had a small open kitchen where u can see the cook cooking. Little area to play pool in the back. And individual TV at each tables that I thought it was pretty cool for a place like this . Server was attentive and nice. The guy at the front who checks ID was very funny. :)

  • Chris S.

Food and drinks were great. Had the loaded fries, fried tomatoes and fried pickles. All tasted great, but the service was horrible. Erin the bartender was the worst I've experienced in years. Probably, you're in the wrong business Erin. Sorry your life sucks, but you don't have to take it out on customers.

Seems like a pretty laid back bar on River St but we didn't stay all that long. We were in on a Tuesday night so it was pretty slow. We were still up for a good time but, the bartender seemed pretty apathetic about us being there. We tried to strike up conversation and break down her bummer mood but, she wasn't interested. Had a shot and a beer, then a roadie for good measure. I'd give them another shot based on other reviews and the fact that the draft list was pretty solid. Better luck next time Warehouse.

  • Scott S.

The Warehouse seems to be THE watering spot for weekenders and tourists passing through Savannah. Their beer selection isn't much to rave about, they have what appears to be a full-bar, and both times I'd been there they had live music playing near the front, and various sports games playing on the TVs around the walls near the seats. The big plus for the Warehouse seems to be that it is still somewhat decently populated on Sunday nights where every other bar in town looks like a ghost town; on any other day it's just another stop for a Bachelor/Bachelorette Party Bar Crawl on River Street. Oh, and the bathroom here smells like marshmallows and cinnamon for some reason.

    (3)
  • Josh N.

Great spot to drop in and have a beer while you explore river street. Cheap cold beer and super friendly staff. Highly recommend.

    (5)
  • Katy S.

I stopped in for a beer while walking along River St. The beers were well priced ($3.50 for a light beer). I was in and out pretty quickly, but this definitely looked to be a fun place to enjoy some beverages right on the river in Savannah!

    (3)
  • Chelsea M.

Very cool bar. Very old. Prices were not "the cheapest in town". Great place to pop in for a quick drink. Definitely recommend!

So I just got back from Afghanistan and ran 5 miles this fine evening and basically felt like having an American burger. I've been here before and had a hankering. So I took my friend and ordered an American burger with an egg and slice of pineapple, I also ordered an American beer on draft from Southland and it was oh so good. All the meantime the band was playing my American favorites like Born on the Bayou and songs like that. Basically it was the best American meal I could have asked for, with good service, cold beer, and all the ambiance of being on River street with a beautiful American sunset. The Warehouse is where it's at if you're an American... Fact. I'm also glad to be back in America... Fact. Ice cold beer... Fact. Good burgers... Fact. Thanks Mike! (General Manager who personally saw to it that my burger was outstanding and beer was ice cold).

  • Frank G.

I'm really glad I literally stumbled into this place. Both times. The beer was both cold and cheap, the bartenders were really on top of it, they were playing some awesome 80's in the background and there were TVs everywhere to watch football, the World Series, you name it. They also have a pool table in the back. What I liked the most about this place was their live music, which was excellent excellent excellent and NOT TOO LOUD. That's what keeps me out of bars with live music in the first place. But Ray and Mike were playing some fantastic tunes and everyone was having a good time. If Gregg Allman, Bob Seger and Leon Redbone were all brothers, then their highly talented nephews would be Acoustica. Drink here, and listen up.

    (5)
  • Tiffany Y.

The bartender has been the same one the last three times I've been there glasses and no personality went there for for the specials she has no personality never was friendly so standoffish must be the owners daughter if not get someone with some personality horrible

  • Anne D.

We rolled in here while pub crawling through Savannah. It is a dump! I get the whole "cheapest, coldest beer in Savannah" schtick but I seriously would rather pay a few bucks more for a clean spot with decent service. Please note- if you are planning on going here, use the bathroom BEFORE stepping foot inside this bar. The restroom had one seat and is unisex. Ladies, do the math on that one: cheap beer and dudes sharing your toilet. Yuck. It was beyond filthy. On the positive side, this place is as advertised: we had an $8 pitcher and it was frosty cold.

  • Kristen M.

My husband and I came across this bar while waiting for a ghost tour to begin in savannah. Originally we only stopped in to have some beers and then were going to head somewhere else for dinner. They have a pretty good beer list. Keep in mind this is a dive, which I love, and the brick floors/walls were awesome in my opinion. I was very hesitant to eat there as most dives don't have good food. However, we ended up getting burgers and the burger was one of the best I have ever had! They marinade them in beer and it tasted similar to a beer brat. It had such a good flavor. I am looking forward go returning to this bar when we go to Savannah again. They also had a live band which was pretty good, too.

    (4)
  • Rich K.

Not good. Better choices in town. $5.50 for a 12 oz beer? Cheapest beer in town? Whose kidding who?

    (1)
  • Tanya K.

Bartender was bubbly and amazing, only got beer and cheese sticks but they were great and quick!

    (5)
  • Alan N.

Best burger I've had in a very long time and they came with tater tots....full bar with custom beers as well.

    (5)
  • Joshua S.

Beer isn't "cheap", the music isn't any good/ talented, and the same people/ regulars repeat 'good' reviews of this mediocre place.

    (3)
  • Eduardo C.

We really liked the atmosphere at this bar. The people were extremely nice. However, one of the bartenders clearly had no idea how to mix a drink. He suckered us into paying for this drink called a cherry bomb, and I kid you not it was just Hawaiian punch with no liquor. Their beer selection was ok, but nothing special. Overall a good experience with room for improvement.

    (3)
  • Ashleigh L.

I wouldn't go back, no matter how cheap the beer was. They started by carding us at both the door and the bar which was obnoxious on its own, but when we asked the bartender about it she was just plain rude. They also claim to have the cheapest beer on River Street, which is a flat out lie. We took our beers and left.

    (2)
  • Tina H.

Great, super-relaxed atmosphere! My boyfriend and I are regulars here when we are in town. They have perfect bar food and a beer selection that changes frequently. The entertainment is awesome and no cover. The staff is friendly and helpful!

    (5)
  • Theresa G.

Great meal Great deals. Had a large juicy burger with a huge amount of fresh cut french fries for only $5.50 and this icluded a soft drink. They have a good variety of other food items on menu and good selection of beers all reasonably priced.

  • Shawn A.

Our favorite on River St! We even went back again and again during our visit. The service was prompt and extremely friendly! We were beckoned to come in by the staff hanging around the open doors. We heard live music and saw they had oysters so we went in! My friend and I split a bucket of steamed oysters and they were some of the tastiest freshest oysters I've ever had! My husband had the hangover burger and he said it was in his top five best burgers of all time and he is quite expert! There burgers are marinated in sweet water beer! Fantastic place good food and fun, accurate, and friendly service!

  • Byron C.

Great place to stop in for a drink down on the waterfront. It's a bit of a dive, but drinks are cheap and staff is friendly. A previous reviewer made a big stink about the punching bag arcade game, which I thought was weird. That is until we inadvertently sat right next to it and had a ten person group winding up their fists and yelling in our faces. I must admit, they could do without that thing, it was pretty annoying. Good place to get some beers, not a big place and no frills. Medium chicken wings were surprisingly delicious, I highly recommend.

    (4)
  • Erika W.

This is not the kind of place that you seek out, but it's a great find for cold, cheap beer and great live music. We stopped by for a drink walking around River Street, and were a little disappointed by the slow service. We were one of maybe ten folks in the bar, and the server was less than enthusiastic to bring our drinks. I am a northerner though, so I might be a little obsessed with a fast-paced environment. If you're looking for a to-go drink and to catch a quick song, this is the place. If you're looking for a great sit-down place and terrific service... you might want to look elsewhere.

    (2)
  • Matthew L.

I was not pleased by the pushy dink sales. Everytime I walked by, I got a hard sell to come in and drink a beer. The first time we were there, we just happened to stop by cuz we wanted a beer, and they tried to hard-sell shots. It was very annoying. I specifically checked in here to remember to write a poor review. My visits were on a Sunday evening and Tuesday afternoon.

I loved walking around River Street checking out the businesses and the antiques shops, but it all made me hungry. Someone said they found a place with a great deal on burgers for $5.00, so we wandered up there. Part of our group already had a start on a pitcher of beer, so we ordered another, and got the sandwiches to go with it. I loved that they actually had a decent veggie burger for me and my wife, (we're the only vegetarians in the group), so we could eat something besides salad, baked potatoes or french fries. While we were there, I could look out on River Street, see the riverboats, and it almost felt like Decatur Street in New Orleans, one of my favorites. All in all, that meal at the Warehouse was one of the best I had in Savannah if, for no other reason, than it reminded me of some place else. The staff is not particularly attentive or quick, (seems to be a recurring theme in GA), but, with the beer, and the good company, we didn't mind. When I go back to Savannah, I'll go back to the Warehouse.

    (5)
  • Jess C.

Don't get me wrong, this is a true bar in the deepest sense of the word, but with burgers that are incredible. I wouldn't bring my kids here (and couldn't at night if I wanted), but for a good ol' fashion traditional or even modernized with jalapenos burger and a beer, this place can't be beat, esp. so close to the river for price and quality.

    (4)
  • Beth W.

This was one of my favorites while living in Savannah because the beer's cheap and there's always someone in there you know. I will say that we called it the "Dirty French Fry" because you go in smelling nice and come out with the lingering odor of burnt French fry grease attached to your clothes. When this place gets busy, you better hope you don't have to go to the restroom because there is always a ridiculous line for their stopped up toilet. The bartenders are really good at what they do and are used to the crowds. Great place to stop on your bar-to-bar walk down River Street.

    (4)
  • Jordan L.

This place is okay. They advertise they have the cheapest beer in town, but it's the same price as everywhere else. It's a decent dive bar to hang out at. The food is fair bar food at best. The seating area is good for a group of people. The biggest disappointment is that they only have one bathroom. Don't break the seal here because the one stall for everyone sucks.

  • Dennis U.

Beer in plastic cups..... big neutral tasting burgers with fancy descriptions....is this what you are looking for?

  • Ian R.

We sure are glad we stopped in here. My girlfriend and I were in the mood for some good live music and some good drinks to go along with it. Being that we were on vacation here, there was no stopping us from sniffing it out! We stroll in right around dusk as the band was setting up. They have a serious craft beer selection, I was stoked about that. I'm pretty sure I tried about half of the taps! Our bartender, Dillon, was very helpful and pretty darn good at making sure we had everything we needed. He also didn't bat an eye if I wanted to have a sample of a beer before committing to a whole pint. About this time the band had started playing, a hard-nose blues trio. They were AMAZING!! They had the whole place going and it made for an awesome, awesome time here. But we're not done yet folks.. The hunger bug struck us somehow, somewhere in the middle of the evening and we thought some good ol' chicken wings would do the trick. We got 12, 6 "tiger" flavored and 6 "jerkyaki". Boy I wish we had just gotten 12 of the jerkyaki! The tiger flavor was tasty, but the jerkyaki was leaving us wanting more. It's hard to get excited about a chicken wing these days, everyone has them. This though, was a great example of just how magical a chicken wing can be. Downside, the only thing keeping them from a 5 star review from me is the bathroom situation. It's unisex, and there is only one. Poor ladies...you know some males just don't lift the seat and well, when a woman..you know what I am getting at. If they had a urinal for the heathens it may be better for the ladies here, or a second bathroom. Altogether I definitely recommend this as a pit stop amongst your travels on River St., day or night.

    (4)
  • Kristina K.

A little but of a dive, but good beer and oysters. They have you shuck your own oysters which was a turnoff at first but then a fun experience. They also ran out of good beer before 5pm. Good music and a chill vibe. One bathroom for both sexes and it was disgusting. The staff seemed miserable but the early St. Patty's Day crowd left nothing to be desired.

    (3)
  • Samantha B.

Cheap beer and a collectible cup for $1 extra, I'll take it! And had it been lunch time, we'd have gotten a $5 burger because it smelled so good! Can't wait to go back!

    (5)
  • C S.

"I'm on the outside, I'm looking in...." Outside by Staind This is the synopsis but not the expectation of this hole in the brick. The beers are great, bartenders were on cue even with a line of customers. The music was from a different realm, I feel like I've been transported to Sheep'de Ville, a generalized village of Bible Belt dwellers. It is similar to "The Shire", yet with an indoor bathroom.

    (3)
  • Matt C.

Great location. More of a bar, bar compared to the other more "clubby" type bars on the Riverfront... But lose the punching bag thing in the bar... Are you trying to attract frat boys or people there to have a good time?!.. It was a cool scene, band playing, nice set up, then there's a group of dude's who didn't seem that intelligent making a bunch of racket trying to get the most pounds of punch on the stupid machine. Lose the machine, it would be a better bar. We went elsewhere..

    (3)
  • Lexy S.

My 60 year old mother was carded and laughed at the young lady behind the bar. Her response to us thinking she was flattering her was rude and unresponsive. They advertise that they have the coldest and cheapest beer in Savannah. I am going to have to disagree with the cheapest and definitely with the coldest. We had draft Yuengling, which I thought was rather warm. P.S. The bathroom was an absolute nightmare and you should note the time we were at the establishment was 1pm.

    (2)
  • Diana C.

Will never go back! So many better places with polite and friendly bartenders! Don't waste your time!

    (1)
  • Sophie C.

Delicious! Had really good wings on happy hour, flavors recommended by our waitress from the multiple options. Beer was indeed cheap and cold. TVs right at the table made for some fun sports conversation. It was a perfect evening stop on River Street.

    (4)
  • Sydney J.

You've got to be kidding me, right? Came here at 1pm on a Friday with a party of 3, the place was half empty, and it took us over an hour to get our food, simple burgers, chicken fingers and wings. Adding insult to injury, people who sat down after us got their food earlier, so clearly the cook was going in whatever order he wanted. When it came time to pay, the waitress had time to schmooze some guys at the bar but not make eye contact with us. They took off the cost of our drinks (2 beers, 1 iced tea, 1 water, all of which sat empty half the time), so the former bartender of our group agreed that the tip should get bumped up to a buck from the two cents we had agreed on as we were leaving. We'd come here after not getting service further down on River St., so this place just added insult to injury and helped make me hate Savannah :) Way to go, Warehouse!

    (1)
  • Ryan C.

Like they advertise, coldest and cheapest beer.. The beer on tap was extremely cold just the way we like them and they had a pretty large selection on tap. Only stepped in for beers multiple times when we were in the area, and always took our to go beers....

    (5)
  • Antonio W.

Good deal with the 50cent oysters, good cold beer wings could be better but it's all around good experience I highly recommend

  • Erin A.

Stumbled across this place on our way down River Street and I'm glad we decided to give it a try. The bartender Alicia (I think that's right) was friendly and funny. She delivered great service with a side of sass. We ordered the nachos and they were DELICIOUS. They make their own tortilla chips. Try them, you will not be disappointed. The drinks were great, the food was great, the staff was great AND the music was awesome. Good mix of classic rock, 90's music and present stuff. We went back the next night and they had a band playing. Go to this bar. You will be pleasantly surprised.

    (5)
  • Brandon W.

First and foremost this is a bar. It's dark and probably dirty so deal with it. But of all the burger places i've been too this one is my favorite. Most burger plates are about 10 bucks and it's a huge burger with loads of fries! Stop in here to escape the tourist vibe of the riverwalk for a moment then grab your to go beer and enjoy the rest of the sites!

    (5)
  • Jen B.

We ducked in to grab a beer, and as promised 'the coldest and cheapest beers in town". Yeah, it's a tiny grubby hole-in-the-wall, but for grab and go, it was just right!

    (3)
  • Michelle C.

I was at the Warehouse this evening with a business partner. My business partner was refused a beer because he was "drunk" I had been with him for hours and he was for sure not drunk it was his personality. If you have an out going (hyper) personality don't go here. I had to pay for the food I ordered even though my friend had been refused service so I paid for it and got it to go...it wasn't that great. $40 down the drown!

    (1)
  • Clara S.

A divey bar in a historic setting along the river. You get a small flat screen at each table,.. did not have food review is only for drinks ;-) Think this would be great for the football addict!

    (3)
  • Carrie B.

It's a bar :), the bartenders are very friendly, they have cheap beer, you can take it to go. Any questions :)? We tend to hit this spot everytime we're on River Street and have always had a good time.

  • Angela M.

The Warehouse is your typical beach tourist bar - the kind with cheap food that features PBR and pool. We like to get a to go cup here (there are no open container laws on River Street... so if you don't finish your beer, you're offered a to-go cup at the door) to help us on the long walk from Kevin Barry's to Wet Willie's. Those of our group who prefer beer to frozen drinks usually linger a little longer. One of the best stories about the Warehouse was from my husband, who was traveling to Savannah for business and ended up here to play pool. He met a guy who told him that all you need to know about how to romance the ladies is the 3 M's - McDonald's, movies, and motel parking lot. So I would say that you can meet some characters here and really get to know the locals! Also, one of our party got a free PBR tall boy and a shot of Jaeger for looking like Napoleon Dynamite, leading me to believe that the wait staff is quite friendly and good-natured.

This was a little gem of a find walking on River St. where everything is overpriced. We stopped for a few beers but ended up eating there and it was great. Steamed oyster normally $0.50 each but they had a special a couple of buckets for 12 bucks. We had well more than two dozen oysters. The wings kick butt. And yes it was the cheapest beer we found on River St. $3.50/ draught. This is the place to go to have a few.

  • Marie M.

    Good beer, great atmosphere!!

    (3)
  • Hannah R.

Stopped in when we saw the lunch special: burger, fries, and a drink for 5.50. We switched to tater tots and got cheese on our burger, think they may have charged a bit extra for that but total came out to 13 for the two of us. Can't beat that!! The tater tots were crispy and delicious. Burger wasn't bad either. Was a little loud but typical bar.

  • Rn R.

It is a fun place to stop and get some drinks by the river. We have always over stayed our preset time limit because of the friendly people we wind up meeting.

    (3)
  • Lauren M.

Good live music, cheap beer. Fun atmosphere.

    (4)
  • Melissa B.

We went for some lunch and beers during the day. Friendly bar tenders and they handle the octoberfest crowds well. Our food did take a while, but they kept us happy with drinks while we waited so it wasn't a big deal. It's kind of in a whole so I bet it's pretty smokey at night, but still a great stop.

    (4)
  • Christopher T.

The food and drinks were cheap and the live music was great! Just on River Street so you can just stroll from bar to bar if you like.

    (4)
  • Jim B.

This place is somewhat of a shithole- similar to a place in New Orleans on Bourbon Street where the floor is sticky and there are a bunch of drunk fools in there with fake IDs. Well, Usually a good place to pop in when it is ridiculous hot and humid ala niagra balls) to come in, take a leak, and grab a cold one...

    (3)
  • Mike T.

As advertised the beer was very cold and the burger was above average. Would go again.

    (3)
  • Tim C.

The worst River Street establishment. Pissing in the wind is more enjoyable. Bad food and bad service. Bonnie is the only one I've met here who is actually a considerate human being. The rest are a bunch of rude little inconsiderate D-bags.

    (1)
  • Jonathan A.

Cool place to hang... Cheap Beer for a Vacation Spot. 2.50 PBRs, 350 Domestics and then the more premium beers are more. It was a fun place to have a drink,.

    (4)
  • Courtney E.

Decent bar with a diverse crowd. The drinks are cheaper than any other bar I've been to in Savannah. The live music on Saturday night drew me in but the place was really crowded so i only stayed for one drink. It seemed like an older crowd of tourists and locals.

    (3)
  • Eros A.

It's a dive bar. Nothing more nothing less. So it is what it is, don't expect more. They seem to have their clientele and/or followers. Come here if thirsty for some cold beer. It's pretty cheap...

This was one of our favorite "dives" on river st. It was just laid back and when my hub worked in Savannah for two yrs....they always had 25cent oysters and 25 cent wings...really good beer specials too. Fast forward two yrs and we go there over this last fourth of July week # 1 OUT OF OYSTERS???? Ok so we drink our beers and go. #2 On the night of the fourth, we go back in to get some beer, granted they were packed.....you would have thought they knew they would be......St Patricks wasnt that long ago....anywho a bartender saw a debit card in my hand and shouted to the top of her lungs......IF YOU DONT HAVE CASH, DONT EVEN TRY TO LOOK AT ME. IM TAKING CASH ONLY CUSTOMERS SO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I mean really. She was so freakin rude, as most of the ppl there did have plastic. For this reason alone, I will never step in that bar again. But hey, nasty bartender, if you ever read this, you know who you are and the bartender that did take my "plastic" ended up with a 5 dollar tip for a 3 dollar beer just because of you. It takes one bad apple.

This place was pretty fun. Savannah has such a great night-life, even on a more mellow night.

It was so cold in Savannah this weekend that even the to-go cups couldn't entice us to stay outside for very long... so we initially ducked into The Warehouse out of sheer necessity. Once we found ourselves inside though, we were pleasantly surprised - there was a live band doing ridiculous covers (a middle aged woman doing her best James Hetfield?), kids getting rowdy, super cheap PBR (2$, I think?), decent bar staff, pool in the back, and cheap games of Photohunt on the bar. Overall, not a bad place to have a shit-kicking good time.

  • Christopher S.

It's a great place for cheap beer when your on River Street, although it's never been a place I like to hang out at. More of a place to stop in and grab a cold one while your down there for Octoberfest or St. Patty's.

Tourist spot on Riverstreet! Live music almost every weekend and a couple of pool tables. The food is decent too.....the only thing is once you leave the warehouse.....you usually have this smell on you that i called the WareFunk. eek.

I enjoyed my few hours at the Warehouse, but it might have been due to the double vodka & cranberry I had out of the gate and the 6 or 7 $2 PBR's that followed. 10pm, we'd just finished a walking tour of Savannah, and I asked the tour guide where was a good place to get a cheap, strong drink, and she recommended the Warehouse. I wasn't disappointed. They had live music going on inside, and at 10pm we were able to snag both of the outdoor tables, which we didn't vacate until last call (12pm? WTF Savannah!). A friend of mine ordered a Philly, which was big enough to share (and delicious). We were pretty exhausted by the time we rolled in here, and although we had planned to make the rounds of River Street, this was the only place we went, but I didn't really mind. Met some crazy locals in my trips in and out the door for drinks, they had a clean restroom and pool in the back. I'd definitely stop back in.

Cheap beer and a collectible cup for $1 extra, I'll take it! And had it been lunch time, we'd have gotten a $5 burger because it smelled so good! Can't wait to go back!

The bartender has been the same one the last three times I've been there glasses and no personality went there for for the specials she has no personality never was friendly so standoffish must be the owners daughter if not get someone with some personality horrible

Not good. Better choices in town. $5.50 for a 12 oz beer? Cheapest beer in town? Whose kidding who?

    (1)
  • Zak M.

    (5)

Beer in plastic cups..... big neutral tasting burgers with fancy descriptions....is this what you are looking for?

    (3)
  • Ryan C.

Like they advertise, coldest and cheapest beer.. The beer on tap was extremely cold just the way we like them and they had a pretty large selection on tap. Only stepped in for beers multiple times when we were in the area, and always took our to go beers....

    (2)

Great, super-relaxed atmosphere! My boyfriend and I are regulars here when we are in town. They have perfect bar food and a beer selection that changes frequently. The entertainment is awesome and no cover. The staff is friendly and helpful!

Great meal Great deals. Had a large juicy burger with a huge amount of fresh cut french fries for only $5.50 and this icluded a soft drink. They have a good variety of other food items on menu and good selection of beers all reasonably priced.

  • Jean-Paul R.

The drink prices are great. The bartender treated my bf not so nice :( Angry Orchard on Tap! Oh yeah and $3.00 margaritas...sooo we came back, great live music and ....angry orchard on tap ;)

Love the open air feel, but boy does it smell like grease! I'm definitely a lover of fried foods, but smelling like it after not even eating any? Eek. Service was great though - really friendly & beers were cold!

I stopped in for a beer while walking along River St. The beers were well priced ($3.50 for a light beer). I was in and out pretty quickly, but this definitely looked to be a fun place to enjoy some beverages right on the river in Savannah!

It's a dive bar. Nothing more nothing less. So it is what it is, don't expect more. They seem to have their clientele and/or followers. Come here if thirsty for some cold beer. It's pretty cheap...

A divey bar in a historic setting along the river. You get a small flat screen at each table,.. did not have food review is only for drinks ;-) Think this would be great for the football addict!

It's a bar :), the bartenders are very friendly, they have cheap beer, you can take it to go. Any questions :)? We tend to hit this spot everytime we're on River Street and have always had a good time.

The food and drinks were cheap and the live music was great! Just on River Street so you can just stroll from bar to bar if you like.

As advertised the beer was very cold and the burger was above average. Would go again.

The worst River Street establishment. Pissing in the wind is more enjoyable. Bad food and bad service. Bonnie is the only one I've met here who is actually a considerate human being. The rest are a bunch of rude little inconsiderate D-bags.

Cool place to hang... Cheap Beer for a Vacation Spot. 2.50 PBRs, 350 Domestics and then the more premium beers are more. It was a fun place to have a drink,.

It is a fun place to stop and get some drinks by the river. We have always over stayed our preset time limit because of the friendly people we wind up meeting.

Decent bar with a diverse crowd. The drinks are cheaper than any other bar I've been to in Savannah. The live music on Saturday night drew me in but the place was really crowded so i only stayed for one drink. It seemed like an older crowd of tourists and locals.
