So I'm in Savannah on business from NY and this is the first place I came to eat. WOW!! I went on a Monday night and it was not busy at all. I ordered the Ribeye Steak cooked Medium with asparagus and broccoli. My steak was so juicy and cooked to perfection, the asparagus was good and just as I requested, my broccoli was well steamed. Wait staff was very friendly and had constant smiles on their faces. I ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio by mistake instead of a Pinot Noir (dumb mistake) and when she brought the glass to the table i noticed my mistake and she changed it with no problem. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant.

Haven't been here in a while and now I remember why. First, never ever sit in the bar area. The service sucks! The food is so greasy you can hardly eat it. We had to go find silverware for ourselves and they don't know what sweet tea is at all. Well, I'm gonna say it again, not coming here any more! Sorry outback, you have disappointed yet again. BOO!

Food was great. I was disappointed that my rewards were not showing up.Did not receive discounts.Makes me wonder if the waitress even tried.

If I could do no stars I would. Our service was horrible. I had to ask another server for tea, ask for bread then he brought it with no butter & no plates. I really tried to be nice, but come on. It was 3:00 in the afternoon and wasn't busy. I don't know if he had something going on personal, but my service was horrible. Then the new shrimp and lobster appetizer we got was flavorless.

Great service, steak was tasty! So beyond that it's a chain and that it needs a lot more parking!!!!, the salad was very sparse for a $3 salad! No cucumbers as normal, maybe a handful of salad greens and a few onions. Much better salads can be found elsewhere for price.

I haven't been to an outback this good in 12 years. They follow outback procedure and are really friendly. Great customer service, perfectly cooked steaks. LOVED IT!

Back in the day I used to get takeout from here a lot my oh my this have changed . After getting emailed a kids eat free coupon, I decide to give it a try ( note to self if they're giving it away it can't be that good ) . Okay I called ahead since it was a Friday night and I know must places have a wait . Okay we get there before said time & we have to wait ( you can't force paying customers to leave I get that ) but what I wasn't okay with was other people walking in and getting seated ahead of us . After waiting 30 minutes and having at least 4 others get seated before us I had enough and said something to the young lady who was seating people . She explained it was the computers fault ( yeah right , I was at night it just wasn't last night . We ordered the calamari boy was that mistake , it was so bad hard as a rock . The waiter was super cool that was the best part of the whole experience to me . The food even my daughter's chicken fingers were not so good . Moral of the story I will not be going back free coupon or not .

I like this location of Outback Steakhouse a lot and visit often. This is the choice sit down restaurant for me and my wife. We normally get the steak, burger or chicken sandwich. Lobster tails are great too. Ribs are good but sometimes can be a little dry and the portions seem small. Steak is great most of the time but sometimes it's a little undercooked or overcooked when I ask for medium. Burgers and chicken sandwiches have always been excellent. Baked potato fully loaded is my choice of side as well as the house salad with ranch. French fries are good too. The free brown bread is probably the main reason my wife loves Outback Steakhouse. Restaurant is always clean and the staff are friendly.

24 Jun 13, tonight I received a phone call from manager Jeremy, he was very nice and apologized for my previous experience and will definately use it to improve the customer service experience. He said he would like to have my business and is going to send me a gift card. Thanks for the response and using this to improve your staff/customer relations.

I would like to give this eatery ZERO stars if I could, since it was probably the worst outback experience that I have ever had. I've eaten at numerous Outback locations in Texas, Kansas, and Utah, with mixed results. But this particular location made me want to impale myself with a didgeridoo ... Unlike those handy boomerangs used down under, my waiter appeared quickly, but did NOT return. His presence was scarce, like a rare species. When he appeared, the service rendered was excruciatingly slow. Of course, my New York strip steak was completely overcooked, and cold as a Platypus bill. Not a lot of care was put into the baked potato either. It looked like a wombat threw it together from scraps in its den ... Of course, I was as mad as a Tasmanian Devil, until the manager comped the entire meal for me. Good onya mate! Now THAT's some fairly-priced restaurant chain tucker.

The stars are for the service, not the food because they got 1. I seriously don't know what happened to this place. It is REALLY bad. I used to like it about 5 years ago but it has just gotten progressively worse. This visit was April something 2014 We sat down and ordered beers. I saw the young man enter them, but for whatever reason, the bartender didn't fill them, then left for a while and came back. They took forever. We had gotten our bread 5 minutes before so we weren't starving. The salads came out. They were GREAT. Nice presentation and very tasty. The main course came out after a long wait as well. EVERY time we come here, my wife gets a Prime Rib medium rare. Yes, we know what medium rare is, she's been ordering it that way at several restaurants for 20 years. However, it is not blue! The meat was raw. She tried eating around it, but couldn't. They offered another. It was the same. They got another, it was well past medium. She had a few bites, but it wasn't good. I had the Chicken on the Barbie special. I've had it before and liked it. It was bad. VERY salty and I couldn't even get through half. They offered something else but I really didn't want anything. I wasn't asking for free, just forget it. As I waited for my cake, I saw another couple send their steaks back as well. By the end we were actually laughing at how long everything took and how bad it was when we finally got it. The waiter was great and patient and listened to it all. The manager came out and he too was polite and apologetic, but for some reason, he seemed very disingenuous to me. Well, they did some comping and such, and we tipped as we would have if it were not. But, something is wrong in that kitchen right now.

My wife and I dined here on Oct 4 -2013 and were very disappointed. Their Unlimited Shrimp promotion are actually extra Small shrimp, around 60 - 70 count which is barely bigger than your thumbnail. We ordered the shrimp scampi and were repeatedly served a mere 6 small shrimp per order with no scampi sauce, The shrimp were lightly (very lightly) brushed with scampi sauce but its nothing like what Outback is showing in their TV ads or on their menu pictures. Also want to say that it took over 15 minutes to get a refill shrimp scampi orders for myself and my wife which upon arrival to our table our refills contained a mere 6 small shrimp again. The staff told us that their Unlimited Shrimp were not same size as regular shrimp and would in fact be very smaller and refills would be only 6 shrimp. We gave up and left after just one refill of shrimp. After paying $45.00 for a Bloomin' onion starter, two 6 ounce sirloin steaks and their Unlimited Shrimp deal along with two teas to drink, coupled with having to wait 15 minutes for a refill order of 6 small shrimp, we left very disappointed. I expected alot more for my money. Again very disappointed, this Outback location has been steadily declining in food quality for awhile now. I wont be back. For what its worth I took pictures of what we were served as a reminder of how misleading Outback has become with their advertising. I will not to be back.

Because of arriving in Savannah late and hungry we decided to dine at this Outback due to its proximity to our hotel and the location right on Abercorn. Besides most all Outbacks are pretty consistent with what you get. Well apparently not all are. When we arrived we were told a twenty minute wait although it was actually forty five minutes of sitting on the front porch with unbelievably loud music bursting through our head. It sounded more like a night at a roadside beer joint with the too loud music. Then during the dining our server was quite non-attentive and kept forgetting things and running to retrieve side items. At one point we asked the Hostess for drink refills and she hesitated then looked at us as if we had gone insane to even ask. She curtly replied that she would get our server. Why bother. The actual food was quite good though the customer experience needs alot of work.

Worst Outback I have ever visited. Ordered rare steak. Under half the size of my fellow diners medium steak. Owner very confrontational. Will go to Carabbas next time.

Had the worst meal and service, the filet and ribeye were thin and very small. They use to give you a nice salad, but very dinky. Would not recommend wasting your money, cause that's what we did.

We had a fantastic experience there. It was busy and we waited to be seated so we sat at the bar, had some soda and an appetizer and enjoyed the atmosphere, great service and friendly workers. We enjoyed the service we received Nd when we were seated our server was funny, on top of our orders, refilled our drinks, the food was excellent and prepared the food exactly the way we liked it. The meat was delicious and cooked just as we specified and the veggies were delicious. Very happy overall and the server was funny, helpful, and on it! The new owner was great and asked how the service was and if we need anything don't be afraid to ask. It was great!

Not the best service I have ever had but the food is just as good as every other outback. The blue salad is as awesome as ever:-). The service is super friendly, just not the most skilled but definitely worth the patience.

You know, when you have to ask your server if they have a sharper knife, because you're finding it impossible to cut your steak due to all the hardcore gristle, the response should be something other than "No, all the knives are like this, but I'll bring you one anyway..." Dear gods, I know it's a chain, but this was one of my most atrocious dining experiences ever!

Waitress Jerry was nice. Could not tell the difference between Victoria filet or the sirloin steak. The Victoria filet was not as juicy and tender as stated on the menu. The snow crab were old and saggy.

We were in outback tonight. My husband and I ordered ahi tuna as an appetizer. They came and told thirty minutes into it that they were out of ahi tuna would we like a different appetizer because no one told them they were out of it! We said no we would go ahead and just have dinner brought out! We forgot to tell them to bring it out tonight! About 30 minutes later we received our steaks and potatoes. My husbands steak was cooked medium well when he requested medium rare. The manager came out and explained the reason everything was so late getting to us was because we ordered mushrooms and grilled onions on the side! All was not lost for about two and a half hours of sitting in the restaurant out meal was comped!

Visit # 2--- Got back from the field and wanted a good family meal. So we went to outback. It was all good until we ordered our food and it arrived. My wife and I ordered to different steaks. Hers medium well, mine medium rare. Well the steaks were done completely backwards and all the waiter could offer was an ummmmm. Do u want me to cook that steak more and y'all can split it. My wife and I were like no. Lol so we got asked by the manager what happened and we told him. So he comped the two meals. However he did not comp the drinks, the app or themeal we put together from shrimp and veggies for my daughter. What happened to the good old' days where if something was wrong with your meal that practically ruins the whole thing. It's comped. All of it..... I guess i can attest that to the 18 year old manager that was working the shift....oh we'll I expected better.

So I have been here twice, but the last time was the killer. I got food poisoning and was sick as a dog for 2 days. I had to miss work and all. I very RARELY get sick and I would say it is extremely rare for me to get sick from food. I actually got so sick I debated on going up there to get my money back from that Outback Special sirloin. I tell you what though, I have had some good experiences from the Outback downtown so I will go there from now on...

There's good hype and there's overrated hype. I obviously think Outback Steakhouse is pretty overrated. Every time I order something, it is always over-cooked. It could be steak or chicken - always dry dry dry. Am I supposed to ask the waiter to have the chef under-cook my food? Maybe then they'll get it right. This phenomenon is not unique to this Outback location, but this is where I swore off Outback for good. No more 1.75 hour waiting time with a germ-infested hostess vibrator for dry lackluster food. Come to think of it, they should install a Purell station.

Channel 70 is zero for two dining at Outback recently. We arrived before the supper rush, so didn't have to wait to be seated, so that made this Outback a go. I have a rule that I never stand in line for a meal or anything else where I pay for a service. All three of us ordered steaks. Not one of the steaks was worth the price. Tough and lacking flavor. The potatoes, salads (excellent iceberg lettuce!), and bread saved the day, but, hey, this is supposedly a steakhouse. Not that night.

It's obvious that my husband and I are not alone. We ordered the Outback special and Alice springs chicken. The steak was completely over cooked to the point that it was impossible to cut let alone chew it. My hubby ordered it cooked medium. I ordered the chicken. It was one tough piece of chicken. No taste. We did say something to the manager on duty and they politely told us they could re cook it for us. We passed. Since our dinner was unsatisfying we decided to order dessert. She said ti would be out in just a minute. 15 went by and we asked about the dessert. She came back to the table with what was supposed to be the thunder from down under. I couldn't believe it. the brownie needed a knife just to cut it and i think it is supposed to be warm. the ice cream was barely there and forget about the taste. I think they only have one way to cook everything they make. Burned, overdone and if you order dessert let it sit on the counter til it's crap too.
