Very Nice Cafe, the staff is quick and efficient and I love the many rooms and seating areas around the little Savannah Cafe-house. It's super Cozy. My Roommate had a large coffee and I had a hot chocolate and we both got a Taco each. Delicious delicious delicious. The tacos were a bit messy but it was very yummy. The Cafe is teeming with SCAD students so it can be a bit crowded as the students are waiting for their next classes, studying, or grabbing a snack and caffeine before they go. But the staff and students were very polite and these students are super blessed to have such a nice Cafe right outside their schoolbuilding. with such a nice atmosphere and great food, i have to say it doesn't get much better.

I can't say enough good things about their food and drinks to do them justice!! But it's amazing my personal favorites include the chicken tacos, orange marmalade bars and the iced mocha....but I could go on and on...... Try them out for sure, the hipster college kid/ older middle age adults trying to be relevant vibe can be off putting and pretentious and that includes the staff but other than that they are the best coffee slash lunch spot. Would be a five star if the environment was more welcoming to those of us who don't fit into the SCAD scene. But that's more a reflection on the staff and how they treat people than a reason to avoid going there. The food and drinks well out weight the annoying atmosphere. I still highly recommend them.

I didn't realize this was basically the same establishment as The Coffee Fox, which I LOVE. Ever since my first visit to Savannah and my discovery of The Coffee Fox, I've been planning my next visit to include The Coffee Fox. I found this cafe separately from the Coffee Fox and didn't even think the two were associated, although I was suspicious that they both served the famous Horchata Latte. We got here in the late morning for a quick breakfast before our late lunch reservation at 3:15. They were advertising kolaches in the front so I took a look. Kolaches remind me of a lightly glazed jelly filled donut. I ended up ordering a guava and cream cheese kolache with a simple skim latte. We went inside and explored the shop while we waited. We chose a table in a side room, which fit only a few tables. The kolache was definitely very interesting. Not as rich as I had hoped for with the guava and cream cheese feeling, but I probably would have been sick if it has been any richer. A great place to just chill or grab a quick bite!

Took everyone's advice and tried the Horchata Latte. We got it iced to beat the summer Georgia heat. It was delicious. Definitely recommend you drink it fast before the ice melts. They are serving delicious Perc Coffee, one of Georgia's premier craft roasters. I only wish they had some pour over options and the beans they sold were a bit fresher. Though, this shop is not necessarily designed for the coffee aficionado, I'm thankful they are at least using great beans.

Great local coffee, bakery cafe. Had ice coffee and zucchini bread, all was good! Nice casual atmosphere and friendly staff! Would recommend this place if your in town.

Awesome cafe! Try the horchata latte, it's amazing. Took my husband here for his first time and he told me that he should have put on some tighter jeans to fit in with the crowd here! LOL. This place is super hipster, cozy and easy on the pockets. One of my favorite places to go when I'm around the area.

I love Foxy Loxy. So, I'm all about hipster, chill, "might hear some Coldplay" kinda places. To be honest, Savannah is full of them, but Foxy Loxy sets itself apart with their cool events and awesome yet affordable food. I met some fellow writers there for a quick chat, and we were able to grab a big table in the back of the restaurant. Over a Horchata Latte and one of the best shrimp tacos I've ever had, we planned greatness. Plus, it only set me back $8. Heck yea. Foxy is situated around tons of free parking--could it get any better in Savannah? And their homemade pastries are so tempting you have to save room for sweets. Here's a tip: on Saturday nights, they have a fire and wine event where you can buy a bottle and roast marshmallows out in their beautiful outdoor patio space. It's so hipster, you'll want to quit your job and become a painter. This one definitely goes under my Too Cool for Grad School category. Check them out when you're looking for a chill and eventful night.

First off, the horchata latte is my favorite mash-up coffee drink. Second, all the tacos are great. Third, Foxy Loxy's service is friendly. Fourth, it is good place to work on your laptop or read. I could live there.

This was in walking distance to our B&B and I have to say it was an amazing little place. Super crowded and a long line but honestly the Horchata Latte was an experience well worth the wait. Especially since I needed some caffeine love in my life. I bought some coffee beans to go as well and we've tried the cold brew beans that they sell and the cocoa taste that comes through is just divine. I can't wait to try the other one when we run out of this one. If I lived in Savannah you can bet I would be frequenting this place daily regardless of the lines. The outdoor patio in the back is gorgeous and again very dog friendly. I will post a few pictures of the patio. Would make the perfect outdoor office on a mild day!!

Really good taco. Beautiful decor. However, I felt so out of place. Apparently people dress up for coffee and taco here. I mean you can tell those patrons put a lot of thought of what they wear. It's like standing among fashion photo shoot.

Enjoyed this little place. It's a fun environment with a good menu. The chai cake was amazeballs but to be honest, I didn't love the cortadito. It had kind of an odd flavor that I couldn't pinpoint. Cool little place; recommended!

  • Jenn E.

This is one of the coolest coffee shops I've ever been in. so different but in a fantastic way. I def recommend coming here at least once. The outdoor seating at night w/ the fire pits & a glass of wine was awesome.

Oh man, is this a fantastic coffee shop/bakery/tex-mex place! Their coffee is delicious and their chicken taco was absolutely mouth-watering. They also pull off the hipster coffee vibe in a very down-low and totally Savannah way, with decoration consisting mostly of excellent letter-press prints and various quirky bits and bobs. The folks are super-friendly to boot. It can get little tight at times, but the division of the place into different areas, with some catering to folks who want to work in quiet and others who want to be more social, works very well. I wish I could have stuck around to see how they do full brunch, but the road was callin', callin' and I was rollin', rollin'.

I've been wanting to visit Foxy Loxy since I saw that they offer Wine & Fire on Saturday Nights from 7p to 11p. I'm so nosey! I wanted to see what that was all about. Plus, I love standing or sitting around a fire pit on winter nights. Technically, I didn't exactly order anything on the menu. I just purchased 2 S'more kits for myself and my friends. Yes, you can make S'Mores in the fire pit in the back of the restaurant. I really enjoyed that and so did my friends. It reminded me of my Girl Scout days. lol Soooooo long ago. The Cafe' is located in a older house and it feels just like stepping into your grandmother's house when it's full of people on Thanksgiving or something. The staff was very friendly and had no problem explaining a lot of the selection. Quite a few vegan and gluten-free options. I really enjoyed Fire & Wine and I'll definitely be returning and looking forward to actually ordering something. :o)

  • Jane J.

OMG the Iced coffee was off the chain! Definitely has a hipster vibe. I had the chicken taco and my sis had quiche. We were both very pleased with our choices. Don't skip the desert!!

The best coffee house in town! Cozy and unique environment. Food is over the top. Friendly staff. Try Coconut Latin

  • Ray G.

Very nice place for coffee, tea and dessert. Vegan options are also available. Upstairs, main floor and balcony seating is available. Free WIFI with plenty of outlets for laptops. While I was there the majority of customers appeared to be SCAD student. Overall a very nice place to relax while drinking the hot of cold beverage of choice. Lots of art to admire while you are there.

I'm a big fan of both Coffee Fox and Foxy Loxy Cafe. They both offer a genuine, unique break from the world of "Starbucks" coffee monopoly. Had a Horchatta Latte here that was to die for and couldn't get enough of the Chipotle Chicken Tacos. I noticed that almost everyone in the Cafe was either on a computer using design software (most likely SCAD students) or leaning over a book reading. There are lots of quaint little nooks and crannies for study groups, book club meetings, or catching up with a group of friends. Their pastry cabinet has everything from super sweet to salty and savory, and I felt like they did a very good job of coordinating their "TEX MEX" theme with the artsy-town coffee shop motif - something that doesn't sound easy to do!

  • abe m.

Decor/ambiance 5stars | food and coffee 3stars. I love the interior of this place, clean, stylish and a variety of seating options. If I lived here I would definitely frequent this place. The latte was just ok, and the sausage kolache was just ok - the tea they have is really good tea though. Based in other reviews it sounds like they have good house specialty drinks - Id stick to those.

  • Chris M.

Delicious Korean BBQ tacos for a daily special, fair selection of beers, cool relaxed environment. I sat in the little room in the front of the house, where it was quiet with 2 other customers in there drinking coffee and reading. Love the vibe

I had been looking for a place near my house to do homework and this is it!! I love the atmosphere and live music they have on special nights. There are plenty of places to sit and wifi was speedy. Each time I have gone, I got something to eat. The Spanish inspired snacks are awesome! I had a taco one day and an empanada the next!!! However, I am not a fan of their coffee. The Perc coffee (which I was excited to try) was a mere disappointment. I tried it hot and iced. Did not like it either time. Honestly, it's one of the worst tasting coffees I've ever tried. Maybe it's a new blend I'm not used to but the coffee tasted like a blend of coffee beans and dirt. I'm thinking that Perc coffee is a very dark roast. Another explanation could be that they need to deep clean their coffee machines. Never the less, I'll visit Foxy for snacks and homework but I'll be sure to skip out on the coffee.

This place is super affordable and very cute, but there aren't that many vegetarian options and when I asked to get something left out I learned that their stuff was pre-mixed. Bummer. Still a great place to just grab a drink and sit outside and enjoy the cozy atmosphere. It makes you want to linger for hours.

  • Sean B.

I only ordered coffee, however the people behind the counter and were very nice. The look and ambience of the place is great. The food looked and smelled really good. I may have to go back before I leave Savannah. :-)

My first stop in Savannah was this quirky but cute cafe that I read about on yelp before arriving . I must admit the place was packed; it was Saturday morning and it was very crowded and only a few people actually making the coffee drinks . I ordered the horchata latte ( just because I had never heard of such a thing before ) and the quiche of the day . One thing I was not particularly fond of was the fact that you had to wait by the entrance for your coffee even if it was to drink at the restaurant . So for example , I got a number for my quiche and it arrived 10 minutes before my coffee . So I had to stand holding my quiche which was getting cold for 10 min while waiting for my latte that isn't brought to the table . Once I got my quiche It was hard to find seating for one person that was not on a laptop . As for the quality of the food: the horchata latte was good and the quiche was excellent but coldish due to the wait . The reason for the 3 stars instead of 4 is because of the process of getting my order and lack of places to sit not because of the quality .

Kinda new to Savannah and loving all things coffee, stopped by this place. What a great find--great interesting coffe option, yummy tacos, interesting sweets and...drumroll please.... To die for KOLACHEs (slightly sweet fresh baked pastry filled with ham and cheese or other assorted combos)--light and oh, so tasty and Texas/Czech --who knew in SAV. Tried an authentic Arnold Palmer and Horchata Latte....YUMMO.... Funky atmosphere in an old chopped up Victorian... My only complaint is that the place smelled slightly musty and I'm. Averse to that smell, but we will be back

  • Chris H.

My first experience here was the other day. I really enjoyed my self. I really like the patio out back! A ton of people as well! wasn't really sure about what all they serve coffee wise! I'm a pain coffee drinker. But I had a bite to eat and a beer. The food was great. And the cold beer was better :)

Probably one of the nicest spots to sit outside in Savannah. The courtyard is secluded and away from all traffic and pretty cute. Loved the selection of different milks that included almond milk. Everyone (mostly scad kids, it seemed) ordered the tacos. I had a Bourbon Bacon Brownie that was pretty good. The food selection is pretty diverse and includes gluten free and vegan options.

A friendly barista asks for your order. You are given a homey, big mug, perhaps more reminiscent of the mug of hot chocolate your mother made you after a day off from school, spent building a snow fort, of some of the most delicious, bold, and fragrant coffee of your life. You spot the puffy meat filled buns on the counter and after being informed by the barista that it is a Tex Mex breakfast pastry, you order the bacon and the chorizo. Both are packed with flavor and pleasantly chewy. You take all said items to the spacious couch, or the porch, or the expansive upstairs, which puts you in mind of Grandma's house and is the warmest you've felt since the early fall. When you look down, you see the cup is now empty and unfortunately must leave and return to the real world. Or maybe instead, you order another cup and delay the inevitable.

Love this place! My husband and I always stop by when we are downtown. We love the cafe con leche. This place is always busy and full of hipsters

REAL COFFEE. Isn't that all that matters? If you want the good stuff, this is where you should go to get it. We stopped in for coffee multiple times during our Savannah trip & this would be the first place we visit when we return. Definitely packed though but rightly so.

Really has that hipster coffee shop feel. Foxy Loxy is my go-to coffee shop between classes. I get the cortadito which wakes me up in an instant. Their espresso is fantastic and so are their pastries. They also have live music sometimes during the week. I would highly recommend this place to any person that enjoys drinking coffee or tea.

Blink and you'll miss this hot spot! I love this place. Breakfast was delicious, I had the quiche and it was really savory with the salsa. I also had a bun of sorts with cheese and sausage inside..Hmmm....what was that called again? I love that so much I want to drive all the way back and get one more!

  • April D.

Stopped by on our way out of town. I had the horchata latte, jalapeño muffin and a churro. The latte was delicious with the cinnamon flavor of horchata. The muffin had pieces of corn and jalapeño throughout and a good level of heat. And the churro, I mean it's a churro....yum! My husband got the house roast and huevos rancheros quiche which he really enjoyed. My only regret is, we didn't find it sooner! Lots of nice lounge spaces as it sits in an old house so lots of different rooms to relax and get your caffeine fix.

Folksy, converted house that makes for a charming study place but can get overcrowded fairly easily.

I always forget to check in when I come here. Love foxy when they have cream of broccoli on special get it! So good. Sitting out in the back courtyard it the best. This place is always full of us scad kids and it's always a great time.

  • Macey M.

Best Coffee and hang out spot in Sav in my opinion. Such a great atmosphere. A place is certainly something if it can be great for kids, a good friend hang out and something a bit romantic. I love all the events! Especially, Saturdays they have s'mores night out back in the courtyard and half priced bottles of wine from 7-11. The coffees strong, staffs friendly and...what else can I say? Lol

    (5)
  • Josie P.

Just had their chicken tacos and chair latte... I can't believe what I was missing. The chai latte especially is heaven in a cup

I love this place, the atmosphere, the coffee, the healthy cafe food and the service. Even the people that go there are a nice breath of fresh air from the zombies that walk the town. Great job guys. We will be back for sure.

This place has character. There are plenty of outlets. Incredible seating options. And a grade A cup of coffee. There branding is also beautiful and consistent. I'm currently going around the 48 states by bicycle and I've stopped at about 40-50 coffee shops along the way, Foxy Loxy is easily one of the best places to enjoy a cup of Joe in the country.

  • Milby D.

I love this place. Being from Houston, TX I dig their sausage kuliches with jalapenos and cheese. Also, great coffee! Beats the hell out of Starbucks. Also, met the owner and her son too and both are very sweet.

  • Catenia L.

They were not friendly at all. No greeting coming in and no thank you going out. However, the Mexican Mocha was good!

  • Lacey L.

Sweet ambiance here. Beautiful old house. Easy parking. Great place to study...and get your hipster on. =). Artistly decorated. Refills are 50 cents. Coffee has acidic and unique flavor and is totally delicious..also worth it to experince the hipster artsy savannah vibe. Love it here. Oh and the food is pretty unique for coffee house....tacos and and latin flare... come here. Really lovely.

Wine and s'mores night on Saturdays! Acoustic Tuesdays! Coffee/espresso, beer/wine, and TEX MEX! Now that I've got your attention, how could you NOT go to Foxy Loxy's?! This overwhelmingly awesome place is the best of all of my favorite worlds. Whether you are looking to go study with some SCAD students, get together with some friends for a light meal of some really nom tacos (get the chorizo one!), or drink a bottle of wine Foxy Loxy is THE place. I first came here to get a coffee, and I saw the campfire and s'mores night. This event in particular is no joke. Every Saturday Foxy Loxy lights up two to three campfire ovens in the back outside and sells s'more kits for only $3. At the same time, they have half off all bottles of wine. What more could you want in a Saturday night? Good company! So bring your friends...

  • Jason K.

The Sunday brunch has some good selections...however go at your own risk. The Sunday brunch starts at 11:00...not 10:59 and thirty seconds. They will not even take your order if you are few seconds early...make you stand there like a little kid who did something wrong. Really weird...almost left, but I was hungry. Seating is major issue if it is not good weather. Very limited seating inside; they do have a nice courtyard uncovered in the back and a small covered porch upstairs, but there are lots of people camping out with their laptops in a limited space. Go when the weather is good. Follow up...food would have been better if I did not have to wait 20+ minutes, then go downstairs and retrieve it. As I requested a refund, someone showed up with my food...almost cold. Awesome! Sarcasm intended. They need to learn how to handle a Sunday brunch crowd. It will be quite a while before I go here again.

Mediocre vegan brownie, mediocre horchata latte, mediocre service. I really was not impressed with this place. Great place to just get coffee and sit around with hipsters if that's what you're looking for. I'll give them a second chance and order different coffees. Bottom line, just a chill place to get coffee.

    (3)

Not that impressed with the food here....and wish people wouldn't smoke on the outdoor patio...

I first heard about this place as they had a food booth at the Food Day Festival in Savannah last year. The Beef & chorizo tacos were outstanding so I wanted to try the cafe. Everything about this place is excellent! The food, staff, service, and ambiance of the place is well worth the price you pay. I had the granola and yoghurt, which was really fresh and tasty, as well as the Mexican Mocha coffee, which had dark chocolate and habanero spices. The taste was to die for and the spice kick made it that much better. I can't wait to bring the family back here for a full meal service! I'm sure they will love it too!

  • Ally A.

I super loved this place...I mean, anywhere that has empanadas is a-okay in my book! Sadly, having just had lunch, I didn't get to try said empanadas...or the tacos that sounded oh so tasty. Which really just means I have to go back, ASAP. What I did try was the Mexican Mocha. I'm always on the lookout for a good Mexican coffee or hot chocolate. While I would have prefered this to have just a *little* more chocolate to hit that flavor memory that makes me so happy, this was a pleasant approximation of past spicy chocolate/coffee drinks I've had in the past and I greatly enjoyed it. I also got one of the bite sized versions of the foxy brownie, which was DIVINE, and just enough to take off the edge of my sweet food craving. I am super excited to go back and try this dirty horchata everyone is talking about!

Coffee and morning eats. Open at 7. A real coffee shop where one barista makes real coffee drinks. Local coffee (PERC) and local dairy (Southern Swiss) combine with delicious baked goods for the perfect morning stop. Even with a small staff, you can generally get in and out with less of a wait then a typical coffee shop. Not into mornings? Hit it up at lunch or at night and grab a taco or dessert. All options we have tried have been great. Stop in for the afternoon coffee (2-5) and get the latte for half price. This is the coffee shop of choice for midtown savannah.

  • Josh B.

This place is all about atmosphere. They nail the cuddle-up-in-the-corner with a book vibe. It's a house that's been converted into a restaurant. You can choose to be served upstairs or on the patio. It's a quiet place, so maybe not the best environment for kids. Lots of college age kids hanging around. Food was tasty, but maybe a little over priced ($4.50 for on regular sized taco). Still the atmosphere is amazing.

  • Rebecca K.

This place is so cute! We went on Saturday night for Fire and Wine (7-11pm) for half off bottles of wine. We got this Chardonnay (I think) that was fermented in stainless steel or something...it was quite yummy. We sat on the outside patio where they had cute Christmas lights and heat lamps and free s'mores! The atmosphere of this place is great and I can't wait to go back and try more drinks and food. I don't think they have a private lot but there was plenty of street parking in front and on the side streets.

    (5)
  • Nicole W.

Love the outside garden!!!!! I went for happy hour on Saturday where you get 50% off wine bottles and the sauvignon blanc we got was perfect! I ordered the trio dip with chips for the first time and the guac was absolutely crazy good! I thought the queso and salsa were kind of bland. Maybe the queso should be a mix of different cheeses, or actual melted cheese. And the wierd part were the homemade flour chips. The consistency was just wierd, they were flakey not crunchy. I was expecting homemade corn chips. Definitely go for the chorizo beef taco with extra guac ( by the way they are appetizer/tapas sized so youll have to order at least 2 or 3)

Awesome place! I love the atmosphere and the quaintness of the place. I highly recommend the cheese board and their mimosas! I will definitely be going back :)

My roommate just moved to Savannah, GA and was telling me about her favorite coffee spot "Foxy Loxy"! #1-AWESOME name! #2-They made her birthday brighter by serving her an amazing mocha! I decided to write and ask about a long distance gift card for her since I'm in Austin, Tx. Jen was great and her customer service was prompt and very helpful. Even if you're not local, but know someone who is-try a gift card purchase. It will make your special someone so happy. And caffeinated.

Awesome coffee. Great location. Fun interior. Glorious outdoor seating! I mean can it get much better??? Make it a library coffee date and you're golden.

Great atmosphere and a large range of food to choose from. They have excellent mochas and lattes and I always get the Mexican mocha every time I go. Reasonably priced and has great outdoor seating. Very cool artwork every time I go and the baristas are fast and pleasant. The vegan brownie is my favorite.

I love Foxy. I believe i've had three dates at this cafe to date. It's a nice intimate setting when sitting outside, surrounded by trees, like a closed encave. Saturday nights is half off a bottle of wine (or if you fancy, two bottles for the price of one LOL) and great for a large group to enjoy the fire and make smores. Plenty of gluten free options. I recommend the arnold palmer and the beef-chorizo taco.

  • Sammy C.

Foxy Loxy has such a great vibe. From students studying alone or in groups, to friends catching up, people coming through for a quick coffee and snack... Prints lining all sorts of walls (check out the bathrooms!), coffee way better then Starbucks and made-to order. I tried the tacos when I stopped by.... SO worth it! Don't forget to try one of the coffees with one of their tasty pastries!

  • Mike T.

Not my top choice for coffee in Savannah. Although Foxy appears to have a pretty solid following the coffee just doesn't do it for me. After getting a pound of PERK coffee I found the beans to be way over roasted and stale. The beans literally had the outer layer falling off of them they had been roasted so bad. Not a trace of oil to be found. This coffee shop itself is pretty cool, and they do have some creative menu items, although I would not rush back for the whole bean coffee it does appear to be a cool place to hang out with friends.

Wonderful libations, snacks and environment. We stopped by Foxy several times during our stay in Savannah. We had everything from coffee to tea to light breakfast items. Every visit was a pleasure.

  • Steve V.

I loved this place. I asked for a cup of coffee and a single espresso, to try their hand at coffee. They get their beans from a local roaster (PERC, I think). Anyway, the espresso was hands down one of the best I've had. The coffee was tasty and fresh, not bottom of the pot tasting at all. Baristas were friendly. This establishment also is a little bakery, they do all their own pastries and goodies in house. There are three cozy rooms to enjoy your beverage of choice, with leather couches to tables and chairs with a view of Bull Street. Also some chairs and tables outside on Bull Street. I'm pretty sure they do live music throughout the week. Restrooms and wifi... or weefee if you're French. Located across from the library and south of the Catholic Church and about a five minute walk from Forsyth Park. Worth the stroll and it's a shaded street with some cool houses to check out along your walk. I'll be back fo sho. OH and no minimum for Plastique (credit/debit). Definitely a Perc, no pun intended.

A cool building: very spacious, great art. Setting provides space for reading or a private conversation. Cappuccino superior and also tried a new drink: cortadito. Very tasty.

I miss this cafe and wish it was in NYC! Really warm and inviting, could do my art homework there and it had an awesome vibe. Owned by SCAD alum, artwork all over the walls in the place (especially the bathroom). There mocha and chai are better than any stupid syrup mix you'll buy at a Starbucks.

Mexican Mocha, Horchata Latte and the special taco for the day- pork carnitas. All fantastic. The taco was one of the best I've ever had. Ever. A must for the casual drinker to the aficionado.

Very hip place to stop. The lavender cheese plate was delicious and the Mexican coffee nice n spicy! They did have some veggie selections on the menu but was limited to a few selections when we stopped-hence my 4 stars. She said they are usually special items. The veg taco was ok, (looked great) but I loved the rancheros Quiche! There are three places/floors for you to cozy into. I've driven by a full house at night when they get musicians in. Reasonably priced as well. Worth the visit!

Good spot to stop by for some coffee (milk substitutes available) and delicious vegan pastries!

Sitting here now, on a Saturday with the hipsters and wannabees. The coffee and the pastries are good, served along with a side of pretentiousness and snobbery. It is the place to hang out for art school students (across the street) I guess, so they do hit their target audience. If your into a place that feels like its for the everyman, try sentient bean down the street---good coffee without the attitude, cheaper and you might run into an actual human being.

Brand new to the area and have heard great things about their coffee, so I was excited to check out their Sunday brunch today. I called my order in, knowing likely they would be busier on the weekend. When I arrived, I quickly found out that even though they have a 'Pick-Up' line, this line isn't actually meant for pick-ups. I was told to wait in the 'Order Here' line which was nearly out the door. After almost 20 minutes of waiting in line, I finally was able to pick up my food that had been taunting me on the counter since I arrived. Upon coming back home (and I live less than 3 minutes down the street) my fears had been true--my food wasn't just lukewarm, it was very cold. My food is now in the microwave so that I can salvage my Sunday brunch, and this cafe has lost 2 customers. Don't accept call ahead orders if you do not have a proper system for pick-up!

This is a decent cafe off the beaten path, been a few times, their house coffee is a little strong for my taste, but it is nice to be able to sit in their courtyard with a glass of wine. Can be a little crowded inside with a lot of students on laptops. Food is tasty and reasonably priced. Staff is not overly friendly, but that's ok, it's coffee, adds to the vibe

I am a broken record when it comes to my love of independent coffee shops. Had great service. They use local roasters. Nice space, with little rooms here and there.

So bloody lucky we found this place!... Pulling into Savannah late Saturday, our first time in this town, and we manage to find our way into Foxy Loxy, where it happens to be half-off wine bottles night, plus a delicious pork carnitas taco special on the menu. Couldn't have lucked out more. Beautiful building, cool location, great use of space (outdoor area is great), and awesome food/drink. Thank you Foxy Loxy!

The Foxy Loxy Cafe is a really good place to get a great cup of coffee, chill with friends, watch hipsters be hip, eat a taco, or a vegan cookie. Wait, don't eat a vegan cookie - vegan cookies are like staring at the sun, just cause its bright don't make it right. I'm not sure what that meant, but.... when in Rome. Anyways, I love Foxy's Mexican Mocha coffee made with habanero chocolate. Spicy. We tried all their tacos. They were really wet, but satisfying and priced well. The seating out back is stellar. There is a cozy upstairs as well. Pretty freaking sweet place. Coffee + Tacos - Vegan Cookie = Awesome.

How is it possible that lattes and tacos could go together? Who knew, the only way it works is at Foxy Loxy. Going to Savannah on my honeymoon we knew we wanted to go to Foxy Loxy and The Coffee Fox. We couldn't be more happier. I loved that it's a old house converted into a restaurant/coffee shop. I love the art work on the walls and the horchatta latte and mexican chocolate latte we got twice during our visit to Savannah. We took stickers, mugs, and a ton of photos because we loved it so much.

I adore this coffee shop. From its tacos, to the dirty horchata's, those cute little hand-crafted truffles, the mulled wine....there's a lot of options in this cute place and you'll never leave unhappy. I think there's been one of two instances where I didn't care for the sweet treat I ordered, but there's been several i have enjoyed so that's fine in my book. There tacos are a mouthgasm. So is their vegan brownie. And their dirty horchata's. And great selection of wines and beers. Their cheese plates are really great. I personally love their chips and salsa, some don't, and was kinda bummed they discontinued their queso. Oh, and you can roast marshmallows on Saturday night! It can get a little crowded at times and sometimes finding seating is interesting, but I've never had THAT much of a problem to really be upset about it. I'm always meeting up with friends here or just come in for a quick beverage. The staff are friendly and personable and I do think it's the best coffee shop in Savannah.

I could sit on the patio out back all day. We walked here from our hotel (Mansion on Forsyth) and I wish we had one more day to go back again. We got an extra espresso brownie to bring home because it was just THAT good. I loved it.

What a totally cool place to stop in for a beverage or a snack! Food looked pretty awesome as well. Ambiance alone warrants five stars. Grab a chai latte (or whatever your pleasure is) and relax in one of the comfy sitting rooms.

I love this coffee shop. Its got all my favourite things that a coffee shop should have, good coffee, comfortable seating, plenty of seating inside and out. I also love that it is a converted home. So many nooks to explore. The 1 problem I have is the WiFi. It kept going in and out.

Foxy Loxy is such a great addition to Savannah. The location bridges a gap between downtown and Victory Drive, where the coffee+wifi is pretty scarce. I love their Colaches (bacon and cheddar or cream cheese!) and Chai. If you are just looking for a snack, try their homemade queso and chips. The cheese is thick and grainy - but in a good way. I love that this place has a bit of an Austin, TX vibe (the owners are from there.) Don't forget to go to the backyard patio - a gem of a place with vine-covered walls. Also: you can park in the back in the dedicated parking lot. I LOVE the prints that adorn the walls. They're for sale - so if you see something you like, snag it at a great price (sometimes just $20).

Quirky place with a tiny menu serving excellent craft beers and exquisite tacos. I would be a regular here if I didn't live six states away.

Nice garden in the back (but no dogs, unfortunately). Mexican Latte (jalapeno, local chocolate, cinnamon) was excellent. Pulled Port taco was delicious, but pricey at $5. Espresso Cinnamon brownie great! Mexican wedding cookie not as good (too dry) Very quiet and chill crowd when we visited. Locally roasted PERC coffee was excellent, by the cup or bag. Our bag of Foxy Blend (African/South American blend) was roasted TWO DAYS prior!

It was a nice cafe, they had delicious empanadas and coffee. I enjoyed stopping by, the place was decorated really nicely...they gave off a home vibe and its a nice place to go relax.

While visiting Savannah we heard about this cafe at the first annual Savannah Crafts and Karaoke Festival. They had a booth set up and we had some time to kill before going on our cemetery tour. The nondescript coffee shop is in the middle of the block of residential homes across from the park so it was easy to miss at first. I do like that they basically rehabbed a house to become a cafe. There are some tables out front, but most of the charm is inside. Seems to be frequented a lot by the college students so my husband and I felt a bit out of place, but the staff is so welcoming. Big coffee cups and comfy couches make it all the more perfect spot to get some work done or just hang out. Don't forget to get a snack either because they are quite filling. I would have expected a cafe to have normal fare like muffins, but they have these things called kolaches which are quite tasty and filling and even serve nachos! No wonder the college kids flock here. A cozy place to veg or meet up and get some projects done.

Hands down, best coffee shop in Savannah! Desserts are to die for, always friendly staff, and the coffee is perfection no matter how you order! Also I love the atmosphere and the newly renovated upstairs.

The tacos are better than in Mexico because they are not modest or humble. The place always has rotating prints on the wall. It's definitely a scad student hot spot so if you're jealous of trust fund kids and want to watch them enviously from afar this is a good place to go. You can see all the latest outfits from anthropoligie, free people and urban. You can listen to them complain about how much they have draw or weave or photograph and who hooked up with who last night (what a floozy) as they watch what did the fox say. Love this place!

I'm going to make this short and sweet; The restaurant itself has such a lovely, cozy atmosphere and the employees and patrons both were very friendly. I've not had better tacos than the ones I had here, the hot chocolate was delightful (like a hug in a cup), and the s'mores just made the evening so much nicer. I'm definitely coming back next time I'm in Savanna.

The best cappuccino in town. It is robust and nicely presented. The zucchini bread was moist but the vegan brownie tasted flat. Great options of baked goods and a variety of rooms to suit your mood. PLUS it is across the street from the library.

This is a really cool coffee shop in a really hip and beautiful part of town. Coffee was great. Store made pastries all look great, and our sampling tasted just as good too: ginger cookies, shortbread (one with cashews one with rosemary and lemon), brownie. They also have wine and cheese and sandwiches and kolaches (are we in Texas?). The interior space is comfortable with a good mix of comfy chairs and a lot of tables and chairs to accomodate the local students. Local art work onthe walls - some for sale. They were advertising a marshmallow roast the night we were there, but we couldn't stick around. Very cool.

Love this place. I have class near Foxy Loxy, and it is a great place to stop in for a quick lunch. I am not a coffee drinker, or a eater of pastries, but I have had their tacos. They were well worth the money!! I have tried all the different kinds they have, and each are delicious. My only comment is that they should skin the tomatillos. Sometimes they leave large amounts of peels, and it makes eating the tacos awkward. The atmosphere at Foxy Loxy is just as great as their tacos. The space has a living room where you can sit in groups, or smaller tables for homework. The staff is very kind and informative. They also have a fabulous patio area, but most of all, there is easy access to free parking out front, which is extremely rare in Savannah.

This place has an outstanding coffee. Had an americana split. Absolutely fantastic body. Great sweetness. These are stars Coffees. The development, cultivation , along with the process is handily explained. A very happy place. Don't wait, this is a double split yelp Alert! You can have your cake and Drink it too. Get your coffee at foxy coffee, go across the street to Sweet Carolina cupcakes and relax. I had 20 minutes of heaven on my own.

This might be my favorite place in Savannah. Delicious coffee drinks. Delicious alcoholic beverages. Yummy desserts and pretty good tacos. Just a great hangout spot. The house they're in is gorgeous and they've furnished it with a lot of neat things, including a fort like reading nook upstairs. The patio is awesome - super cute and cozy, live music, s'mores roasting. Love it!

Delicious coffee and espresso drinks. Chips and dip are yummy but the queso could've been a wee bit warmer. Love the beer selection. Anywhere that will let me drink Shiner Bock while I study gets an automatic A in my book! Decor is amazing filled with unique prints. I was tempted to by a few items on the wall. Can't wait to go back and try the tacos!

I LOVE this place. I was never a huge fan of the whole coffeehouse thing until I came to Foxy Loxy. It's incredibly comfortable and has a host of accommodations depending on what you want out of your experience there, be it homework, a date, artwork perusal, a meeting, whatever. There is a wide variety of coffees, teas, beer and wine as well as tasty pastries, tacos, and meat + cheese boards that will please just about anyone. It's easy to rack up a large bill here if you're trying lots of different, things, but a coffee and a pastry is usually well under $10. Their coffee is from a local company, PERC, which roasts it fresh every day for the shop, something few shops I've ever been to can boast. My favorite part is the beautiful courtyard in back, which isn't open every night but it's worth finding out if they are hosting a bonfire, which comes with complimentary marshmallows to roast. A few other awesome features are the walls that showcase a rotation of new artwork, mainly focusing on printmaking work, that are available for purchase. They work even better as eye-candy while you enjoy a snack and a drink. The bathrooms are amazingly fun as well, with the walls paying host to hundreds of small prints. Try the bourbon bacon brownies, you might hate yourself for being so gluttonous, but oh my are they delicious.

What a delightful experience to come from Texas and have this cafe recommended to us. The coffee was smooth and the fig and chocolate scone a treat. Learning there was a live performance that evening; we came back that evening to listen to fine blue grass in a wonderful courtyard; great selection of beer and yummy tacos. The staff was personable on each shift. Truly a rare find and so worth going a bit out of the way from the tourist downtown.

If you're looking for coffee in Savannah, this is the place to go! We spent a lazy Saturday afternoon enjoying drinks and tacos and if they were open on Sunday we would have been back the next day for more. Espresso drinks are the best in the area by far, on par with my favorite spots from Seattle, and this is not something I say lightly. I was impressed with both the quality and flavor of their drinks as well as their attention to detail and latte art. I had a Cafe Cubano before lunch, followed by a Mocha later in the afternoon from a different barista. Both were delicious and it's good to know they train their people well. After seeing several people getting tacos at lunch time, we decided to try them. I'm not usually a fan of corn tortillas, but these were excellent and filling. Everything in the pastry display looked yummy, but we were too full to try anything else. This is about a 30 minute walk from downtown, but trust me; it's worth the trip.

This is what a coffee shop should be. From the beautiful tin ceiling to the hip baristas that make a mean cafe Cubano, it all works. So take a load off, enjoy a bacon brownie with chocolate bourbon sauce, along with your favorite newspaper. It doesn't hurt, either, that the owner played the Smiths and New Order while I was there. I'm a sucker for anyone or anywhere that recognizes greatness.

Foxy Loxy has a good location, and decent coffee (though they are a little on the spendy side). They also have a very nice courtyard, although it would be better if it was non-smoking. However, their food is lackluster. Every time I've ordered their tacos (something they are known for), I've been completely disappointed, as they are greasy and bland. I would still recommend Foxy for their atmosphere, and their coffee, especially if it is nice enough to sit outside.

Went here late one night with a group of friends. I ordered the chicken tacos and my boyfriend got beef and chorizo. They were awesome. I did not have coffee or anything else, but I did get a complimentary rosemary cookie when my food was a little late coming out. Although unnecessary, the cookie was delicious and a very nice gesture! Will definitely go here again!

The inside is cute, just a little wooden house and the baristas are coffee/tea experts. They are very thoughtful. They helped me pick out the perfect tea and assembled a decadent cheese plate for us. We sat outside on their patio - it's truly charming and you can smoke, which is a real draw for some. And the bathroom art was freakin' awesome.

I love Foxy Loxy! The coffee and food is excellent. It's a great place to study and has a cozy, warm atmosphere. The courtyard is beautiful. I wish I could bring the dog (on his leash) to sit with me. That is the only drawback, but it doesn't prevent me from frequenting this nifty establishment.

Mexican mocha and cafe con leche werent anything special but I'd go back just for the tacos which were amazing. Their set-up is a bit mismanaged and requires the waitress to basically search for you by a plastic order number. I suggest they move to the vibrating notifiers to eliminate the unnecessary confusion.

Very cute interior and helpful staff. I had the brie cheese plate which was gorgeous, the vegan lemon tart which was delicious, and the vegan brownie which was awesome. Nice hang out for coffee or an after dinner dessert or drink.

Really enjoyed this new coffeehouse! The shop is warm and inviting, the food and drinks are appealing and reasonably priced, and they offer a great range of beers and affordable wines. The coffee is made locally by Perc which is always a great thing. They offer breads and sweets-- I tried a cheese plate (choose 3 for $15) and a bourbon bacon brownie. The cheese plate was really generous and served with bread and grapes. The brownie sounded awesome, but was honestly a little stale. Granted, I tried the place later in the evening. All the staff was really nice and helpful. Overall, a really great new place to lounge and eat small bites.

what a good coffeehouse should be... great vibe (think: excellent student artwork, wonderful rehabbed house, eclectic music), a perfectly pulled latte (if a little small), nice selection of homemade, cool workers, quasi-healthy breakfast stuff and treats. had the pumpkin-date bread, full of ginger flavor, my man had the huevos rancheros quiche, which he enjoyed as well. we'll be back fo-sho.

Holy guacamole! After enjoying a light breakfast here several times, we finally made it to Foxy Loxy for dinner. I vote it the best guac in Savannah! Tacos are always creative and fresh. We enjoyed a bottle of wine with dinner in the courtyard, and topped it off with roasted marshmallows. For breakfast, the house-made granola and yogurt is nicely sweetened and chewy. Coffee is the delicious locally roasted Perc. Try the Mexican Mocha if you want something different, sweet, and spicy. Also, the ambiance rocks. Even the restrooms are fun. I would move in if I could... Granola and Perc coffee every morning - yum!!
