My home away from home. Great atmosphere and local crowd. I enjoy playing darts here and happy hour with a lovely marsh view to unwind after work. Wonderful bartenders that poor great drinks. Kampai and Jennoely's Pizza is just around the corner and happy to deliver food. The British Decor and cleanliness of this bar makes it very inviting.

Every time I had come here, I've had a wonderful time. The bartenders are very professional and helpful finding new ideas on drinks even for the indecisive. The bands are really good too. I like the lively friendly atmosphere.

Rude bartender and kept making racist jokes, not sure if they were directed at my girl. She is a stunning black woman, but very very light skin, nevertheless one of the worst places I've ever been in Savannah.

Having just moved out of Savannah proper and onto Whitemarsh island, I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was somewhere closer than downtown to have a cheap, relaxing drink with friends. It's hidden at the back of the building that houses Jennoely's and Kanpai, so keep an eye out. Britannia is full of ex-pats and locals and has a great vibe to it. Even on a weekday afternoon, there will be at least a handful of people ready to challenge you to a game of pool and share a cheap, but delicious pint. Plus they have Strongbow! As a non-beer drinker, ciders have become my new obsession and it's hard to beat a pint for a few bucks. Friendly atmosphere with Jennoely's pizza right around the corner and ready to deliver! Stop in...it's wonderful.

The Britannia Pub was a welcome surprise to my Savannah experience... Originally, when we first pulled up to it, I wasn't expecting much (this perception was based solely on their "hidden" location just off of Johnny Mercer Blvd)... However, once I walked in, I felt "at home". The atmosphere had a very "local feel" to it despite its decor being predominantly British/Irish. It isn't a dive bar but it also isn't anything that you would need a sport coat to enter, either. Its staff is top notch. The bartender on duty that night could have been pulled straight from a movie... He was witty, funny, generous, and everything you imagine a "good bartender" to be. If I am ever in the area again, Britannia will be at the top of my list to revisit.
