i have been to my fair share of Olive Garden restaurants. This one is on par with them all. We started with an appetizer Fried Calamari. It came with two dipping sauces. One was your typical seafood red sauce and a tarter sauce. The Calamari was a tad chewy but still very good. The Pasta Fagioli Soup is always one of my favorites. The Citrus Chicken Sorrento was tender and flavorful. I tasted two pieces. The vegetables get a 5 Start rating to me. Zucchini, broccoli and red peppers were great. The bread sticks use to be my favorite with the soup. However, yesterday these were over salted. So one Star off for the Heavy Handed Person with the Shaker.

Amanda is the Best Server ever. We had an awesome meal and plenty of it to take home. We would eat here again when passing through GA.

Was not impressed with this location, but then again it's Olive Garden. The only thing that was worth giving it two stars was the service. Our waiter, Phillip was very nice and courteous. The manager also came out to check on us because we sent our appetizer back, and while we were trying to make it through our entree, he could tell that we weren't pleased, so he didn't charge us for our meal. Real classy people but need to work on the food.

One of my favorite places to dine. Service is always great and chef doesn't mind special orders. Calamari is the best I've had anywhere but tell your waitress to ask the chef to cook it a little longer. Eggplant Parmesan is my favorite and I always ask for shrimp and mushrooms to be added. No problem. Not all Olive Gardens are created equal. Pooler Parkway.... You're the best.

it's the Olive Garden... not real authentic Italian, not horrible chain restaurant food. Pretty reliable but disappointing if u want anything fresh, hand/home made, and or spectacular. Don't expect much, and I do not recommend ordering the salmon... it's "a darden restaurant" so there are not any chefs available. Friendly, prompt staff, overpriced 'us foods' non organic and farm raised fish meat. All in all, it's a good Olive Garden but totally standard compared to what's available in the area. I wouldn't trust anyone who gives this place a 5 by the way... low standards indeed. Anyway, enjoy!

Ridiculously good for being a chain. The hostess' were a bit disorderly, but im still giving them 5 stars because despite their confused state we were seated immediately. Our waiter was fantastic!! Attentive, prompt, friendly and with good humor. He offered us a sample of wine. Popped a bottle of the wine we did order at our table, even though we only ordered a glass a piece. We both ordered the stuffed chicken marsala it was delicious!!! My partner cleared his plate. The child ordered 3 meatballs in marinara, usually a picky and difficult eater, she ate all 3 meatballs without a fuss. What I liked most was that he gave the child's plate to daddy purposely, he ordered it for her (she was wearing a white shirt! Marinara on white would be a nightmare!) We enjoyed 2 orders of sampler desert. If you ever stop by this location I highly recommend asking for Eric D make sure to tip him well! His services is well worth it.

Maybe its just me, but these newer store designs are too sterile and cold in their design. The food was a 4 and the service was a 5 in attentiveness, but the environment felt bright and hectic. Why a 3 star. The hostess did not welcome us and made us feel like a chore as opposed to a guest. 4/19 evening visit

I went to Olive Garden on Friday with my best friend for my birthday, there was a line but we were sited immediately. Our waiter was great very upbeat and friendly. We order two diferentes pastas and tried each other's plates they were both great and flavorful. Since it was my birthday my friend requested for them to sing me happy birthday, I order the black tie mousse cake and it was a great desert for someone who love chocolate as much as I do, a few of the serves came to sing. Once again we had a great time enjoyed the food as well as the service totally recommend this location.

When we go to the Olive Garden in Pooler we always request Tonilynn D for our Server. She is an AWESOME Server and has the personality to go along with it. She is so attentive to your needs. She makes dining at the Olive Garden a real treat!

Food is nothing to write home about. The wait staff needs training. My friend and I ordered. A few minutes later only my main course showed up. No salad before. Five minutes later, my friend soup and main course came. Not the way I enjoy dinner. Last bite the check arrived. No asking about coffee, or even remembering we discussed wanting a pumpkin spice cheese cake later. Perhaps just too new. I hope that's the case.

me and my husband came in for dinner. We ordered the lasagna fritters..really liked them! We weren't real hungry so we shared a crab topped chicken entree and we thought it was ok. Our server was excellent. He was prompt and friendly. I don't like empty plates on the table when I dine and he was always quick to prebus. very clean and tidy.

The service & food was horrible!!! First we ordered two apetizers to start off with before our entre came out. One hour later.... here comes our entree, I was thinking to myself "About time our apetizers are here because we were waiting for an hour for them!!!" But I was wrong... Lord and behold it was our darn entrees!!! The waitress had the nerve to say "Oh you didn't get your appetizers?" " Really??? WTH!! What do you mean??!!! I guess she thought she did, which I don't understand because she didn't have many tables!! Oh & she never gave us any refills on our drinks!! Finally she brought out our appetizers in a to go box after we were finished with our food which the calamari was under cooked, & two of the stuffed mushrooms weren't even stuffed!! Oh & my entre was bland, which was suggested that I get from our waitress & my husband's steak was way too salty!!! Will not be coming back for awhile!!!

First I need to start with I never write reviews, good or bad. But with this being a new restaurant to Pooler I wanted to tell people what I experienced! First we were a party of 8 not a big party by any standards we had 6 alcohol drinks rest water. 2 drinks came out then another 2 came 2 then almost 10 minutes later the last 2 glasses of wine came out after I had to ask for them. When the glass came mine was filthy, and i normally don't care if it had water stains but if actually had some crusty stuff on it! Yuck! Food was decent but not great I mean it is a chain after all.a few more things happened that were rather irritating but over all we really didn't enjoy it. Won't be back.

This was my 2nd trip. My first time was awful but was right after they opened so I wanted to give them another chance. This trip was better than the first but still somewhat disappointing. My lasagne was a little cool in the center which was disappointing. It took 30 mins to get food which is too long unless they are cooking from scratch, which I don't think they are. Server was friendly.

Bloody Mary took a while but totally worth the wait! Food was delicious and came out fast, no complaints about the service the waiter was super friendly. Overall price was cheap and still had enough leftovers for the following 2 days! Will be coming back!

Despite previous less than great ratings, our daughter treated us to dinner at this Oliver Garden for my husband's birthday at his request. There were four in our party. We were seated immediately even though I did request a different table than the one we were initially led to. Our waitress was Jessica/Jessy and she was excellent. She was quite knowledge about the menu and made several relevant suggestions. At her suggestion, we did try one of the wines. The food came out quickly and in the correct order. The staff also lighted the candles my daughter had provided on my hubby's birthday desert! All in all, with Jessy's able assistance, we had a more than satisfying experience and will certainly return. Will be sure to request Jessy when we do!

I'm hoping we just caught them on a bad day because the service left a lot to be desired. It was a Monday at 3:00 and there were very few people in the restaurant. After being seated without delay my party of 3 waited more than 10 minutes before anyone came to our table to take any sort of order. When the server did show up she only took the drink order and didn't ask about nor wait for us to order appetizers. Another 10 minutes go by and we received our two waters and a tea and placed our food order. I had heard a different server apologizing to another table over the long wait for food so we decided to get the appetizer sampler to eat there and our entree's to go. It took 30 minutes for the sampler to arrive and it was obvious that the calamari had been ready long before the mushrooms and fried cheese. Then it was another 20 minutes before our to-go entrees were ready. The to-go entree's were good but again the service was very slow.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
