Delicious pork BBQ! I got the combo of ribs and tenderloin with beans, corn and pickles. The service was excellent and they even stayed open late for me. I couldn't help but overhear the owner's conversation with his young staff. I thought they were his kids the way he seemed to genuinely care about them. This made me even happier with my meal. One piece of advice for this place bring cash or go to the Wells Fargo ATM and get ready for a lot of food. I brought half of my dinner home and barely paid any money for this huge meal.

Lesson #1 of Road Trips: always carry cash. Especially when going through the Deep South where some places don't take credit cards. Three Lil Pigs is one of those joints that only accepts cash...and checks! I couldn't remember the last time I had my checkbook handy. And Three Lil Pigs is so small there's no room for an ATM. Y'all even have to walk outside and around the back of the building to go to the bathroom. The food is worth it. There's only one size cup for fountain drinks and it holds a half-gallon of beverage. I wish we would have packed a cooler so we could take some of their delicious sweet tea back to Atlanta with us. Our chipped BBQ sandwiches were excellent and the Brunswick Stew was pretty tasty too. If you're looking for great barbecue near Callaway Gardens y'all can find it at Three Lil Pigs. Just make sure you have cash!

Great food. Had the rib and pork combo plate and my wife and I still had leftovers. Quality was great and the hot BBQ sauce was amazing. All sides were good and great sweet tea too. Make sure u bring cash or check.

If you want the BEST Baby Backribs in Georgia, you must stop here! Pulled pork sandwiches are huge and the sauce is perfecto! Served with fresh kettle chips, slaw, and dill pickles. A Pine Mountain must!

High reviews must be from friends and family members of the owner. Girl at the register seemed bothered that we were there. Ribs were very bland and sauce was mostly mustard. Sides (baked beans, toast, peas) were cold and not very good. Bottom line: less than mediocre food and very pricey. Overall a very poor experience. I would not eat here again.

What a fun little place with good barbecue! The sauce is tangy and mustard-based and the pintos were better than my granny's, spicy and flavorful. We ate outside and had heaping platefuls of chipped pork, baked beans, chips, coleslaw and pintos.

We stopped by Three Lil Pigs with friends and their kids on a trip to Callaway Gardens from Atlanta. We all agreed this is delicious BBQ with a super friendly staff! Everyone loved the ribs (no fat on them!), pulled pork sandwiches, and even the cole slaw was some of the best I've had. We loved it so much, we came back the next day for more! The price is extremely reasonable for the amount of food you get - just remember to have cash or a check.

Very good BBQ! I had the rack of ribs and it was delicious. Good homemade mild sauce and the Brunswick stew was outstanding. Go there hungry, very large portions will fill you up. Free refills also. Will dine here again!

We've been in area for several days. Ate at some nice places and found this the last day. The night before spent over $100 for so-so meal that was cold and staff was indifferent. Two of us had Pork rib dinner and quart of cole slaw. Best ribs ever with two delicious sauces. 2 kinds of baked beans, tasty bread. Just melt in your mouth ribs. I'll be back and wish we'd found them earlier. Not a fancy place but more like a local drive through. All for less than $15 for two people. No wine or beer but just wonderful ribs.

What a great find. I noticed this BBQ restaurant on the way to Callaway Gardens and thought it had a cute name. I mentioned it to my wife while we were at the garden and suggested it as a place to eat on the way home. I'm so glad we did. The prices are very reasonably priced. But for the price we paid and the portion we received, it was a steal of a deal! And so unexpected. I ordered the baby back ribs, and the portion was huge. Not only that, it was literally fall-off-the-bone ribs. You could simply slide the bone clean off and enjoy the meat. My wife got a large portion of chipped pork (same as chopped pork). The sides were also good. We got the brunswick stew, baked beans, slaw, and bread. I liked the stew and bread the most. We also ordered a drink. Not only were the food portions large, but the cup sizes were enormous too - about 3/4 gallon. Overall I was very impressed with the service and the food. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Callaway Gardens or nearby attractions.

When I travel I love to discover "Mom and Pop" places. Took a Saturday visit to Callaway Gardens and on drive back was so happy to spot this place. They have a drive through that stays busy, indoor and outdoor sitting. Good food, nice people, and yummy!!!

Holy BBQ! The portion sizes at this place are huge! (For the meat, not the sides). However, even given the small sizes of the sides, I am glad that they actually give you three sides AND bread. So many BBQ places in Atlanta just give you one small side with your meat and no bread and I love sides! My husband ordered the baby back ribs and his portion was quite impressive. His meat was literally falling off the bones - it was so good. I had the chopped pork and enjoyed it. With two meals and a drink, it was about $21 which I thought was well priced. I gave some of my meal to my one year old and even though he threw half of it to the ground, the girls who worked there were totally sweet and cleaned it up before I even got a chance to. It is cash or check only AND the restroom is not the nicest (it is located on back) but I'd def come back here on future trips to Callaway Gardens.

Super quick service. Even the mild sauce is spicy but not vinegary. Baked beans unique green pepper influence. Very generous portions. Good value!

Went there because Whistlin Pig was closed. I ordered the ribs and a few sides. Great prices, large portions and fantastic food. The meat was juicy and tender. Love the garlic toast. The only thing sketchy was the bathroom, it's in back of the restaurant gas station style. But I'd definitely return.

Hiking the Pine Mountain Trail? Expecting to be hungry afterwards? Like BBQ? Good news! Three Lil Pigs is on the way from the trails to the highway and is well worth stopping at. As a plus - if you smell like a couple days of hiking they have a drive through AND outdoor seating. Things to know: The BBQ is pig. As another reviewer mentioned this is par for the course in Georgia. If you see cow on the menu in a BBQ joint you can usually assume it is only going to be mediocre - so pig is a good thing. BBQ in Georgia is meant to be sauced. They were a tad stingy with the sauce on the chipped pork sandwiches, only providing one small cup of it per sandwich - but they were happy to give me a couple extra so I could properly sauce my 'wich. The BBQ sauce is a spicy-mustardy sauce...but not full on mustard BBQ sauce. The beans are quite spicy. If you like spicy food give these a try. The coleslaw is good! I typically don't care for slaw, but it was lightly sauced and very fresh tasting. The sandwiches come with a LOT of chips and a small side of coleslaw. Even coming at this sandwich ravenous I only barely finished my own, all of the chips, the coleslaw and half of a side of beans. The portions are serious. -- TL;DR? If you hike in the area and like BBQ, eat here.

Soooo the Hubby and I were riding through Pine Mountain on our motorcycles and thought we would stop in on the 4th of July for dinner. The food was just, ok. Although you got a lot for your money, it lacked taste. We like our bbq to have a smoke taste, not just good sauce. We had the mild and the hot sauces and each were ok. My hubby had the Brunswick stew and he said it was ok, so all together we can only give this place 2 stars.

Very few places have sauce hot enough for me. This is one of those places. They made it extra hot at my request, I was impressed. The pig was smoked just right, not dry, not greasy but that perfect place right in the middle. If you want beef barbecue, go to Texas. In Georgia, barbecue is pig, son, I say pig! Do yourself a favor and stop in.

Excellent BBQ! Ribs are fall-off-the-bone and pork lion is moist and flavorful. Homemade mild BBQ sauce is very good with just the right kick. Baked beans were a bit spicy, but delicious and black-eyed peas were an unexpected surprise. Atmosphere is very casual; clientele ranged from a biker club to families...everyone was really enjoying the food. There is indoor and outdoor seating, I recommend the outside for people watching. Service was OK...I think the teenage girl taking orders wanted to be having fun outside on the lovely Georgia spring day we visited. CASH ONLY; there are ATMs at the nearby Circle K and Wells Fargo if you forget.

Great spot for BBQ. I was visiting Callaway Gardens and looking for reasonable priced food. This hit the spot with a rib plate. Quick service and located on Main Street.

Not the best barbecue in the world, but it was decent. Massive portions for very fair prices. Most barbecue is very overpriced. We got a lot of food for what we paid. But the barbecue pork didn't have much flavor until you drown it in sauce. Which was pretty good. If you are in the mood for barbecue and you are in the area, then it will do. But overall it was just ok.

We were planning on eating dinner at Bon Vivant Cafe but they decided to close on Tuesdays. So we walked two blocks to Three Lil Pigs and had a wonderful bbq dinner. The staff is super friendly, the portions are enormous and the food is excellent. We split a combination platter of ribs and sliced pork loin. The ribs were the best I have ever eaten - the meat slid off the bone, so tender. The portion size was so large, the two of us could barely finish it. Not a fancy place but most great bbq joints are not - this is all about the food and the nice people that work there. Highly recommended.

Great great little hole in the wall bbq place. If you are in Pine Mountain go by for sure, the brunswick stew and ribs were awesome.

We have had BBQ pork in many different states and are true fans of NC barbeque but this platter was outstanding!! We had the ribs and the chopped pork and both were generous servings and melted in our mouths. Next time you at are at Calloway Gardens or Columbus GA- make it a point to visit the 3 little pigs- they will blow you away!!!!

We enjoyed a wonderful meal. I had the rib plate and my wife had the Chicken plate. Both were awesome. Hot BBQ sauce is hot and tasty. We recommend this place.

We came to Pine Mountain for the Wild Animal Safari and ate here afterwards. This is some of the best BBQ in Georgia! I used to cook BBQ professionally and so I am VERY particular about BBQ and this passed my standards with flying colors. The meat is perfectly chopped and did not have any fat or grissel in it meaning that the cook really cares about the meat. The sauce was tangy, a little spicy and it is homemade which is a fresh breath of air from most places bottled sauces. The service was great and the atmosphere is relaxed. I wish this place was not 2 hours away because I would love to come back more frequently! Bring your cash as this restaurant is CASH ONLY.

Friendly staff, terrible food. The pork loin was dry, tough and flavorless. The only reason I am giving it more than one star is because I saw someone else having a burger that looked okay.
