Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

I was very upset and the so-called manager couldn't solve a simple problem. I order online to be picked up deal. When i get there they said they don't have my order. I even showed them my email with the order and comfirmation. They were not polite on top of their own mistake. They make me wait another 15min. When the pizza is ready they want to charge me regular price whilst i showed them the email of the deal price. The cashier went to talk to the manager again and said it"s gonna be few minutes because the manager is on the phone trying to fix the online issues because whilst i was there couple of customers came there with the same issue. I had to walked out leaving the pizza with them. I waist my time, gas all the way and they couldn't solve a simple customer issue. That's too bad for the company. Anytime from now on when i hear the name pizza hut i'll be scared for the bad experirnce and will not recommend it to anyone, all because of the kind of management at this 6045 Peachtree Pkwy, Norcross, GA location

Normally, Pizza Hut has a consistent 'good' pepperoni pizza, but this store is erratic in what it produces. Out of the last three pizzas I have had (March 09 - June 09) only one was acceptable. One was prepared with a brushing of sauce and very little cheese... like eating the pepperoni on a saltine cracker and the pepperoni pizza I had last night, had a bad after taste ... like anchovies mixed with bad olive oil. GRADE: One out of three pizzas = F. I will go back to Pizza Hut, but not this store. So far the best pizza near here is Paizanos (bit pricey), but the Papa Johns, on Holcomb Bridge, does a good job for the money.

I gave an extra star, just because this was an entertaining experience. My wife and I had been wanting to eat inside a Pizza Hut for awhile. We just moved here and all the Pizza Huts nearby are those stop and pick up places. So we made the drive out to Norcross and was very excited. We walk in to an empty restaurant except for a very agitated customer. My gut feeling told me this was going to be a bad experience, but I was hungry for Pizza Hut! This guy was upset that his order (and last two orders) were completely messed up so he was arguing with (maybe the manager) for about 15 minutes. I noticed the buffet was empty. Kind of weird. OK... We sat down and a guy came out and took our order. Pretty simple. A medium supreme, a medium meat lovers, a salad, 2 regular teas. Then the weirdness started. This woman was going booth to booth apparently looking for an outlet so she could charge her cell phone. She kept yelling in Spanish towards the register. OK, a little annoying, but so what. A family then came in and sat down on the other side of the restaurant. Then the server brings us a large pepperoni pizza followed by another guy carrying a pineapple and ham pizza. I told him those weren't ours. I looked around thinking that family might have ordered, but it wasn't theirs either. The guy looks at me confused and I replayed the ordering experience in my head. "Nope, that's not our," I tell him. That family got up and left leaving 4 glasses of water. OK, now it's getting weird. Enough time goes by that they had to have made new pizzas. Finally the guy brings one of the pies out and tells me the cook dropped the other one on the floor. He tells me it will be a few more minutes. I tell him just charge us for the teas and one pizza. "So I don't get no salad either?" I asked. "I'm sorry" he said. I swear to God, I thought I might have been on a hidden camera show. The phone was constantly ringing and being ignored. I was wondering how they couldn't keep it together for just one couple. I couldn't image what would happen if they were dealing with more than five customers! I know nothing about serving in a restaurant, but that experience actually made me want to try it for a day. To their credit, they gave us no hard time about adjusting our bill. I almost want to go back just to see if they screw it up again.

Stay away from this place. They DO NOT follow basic food handling rules. I ordered a pizza for lunch. I decided to sit in the dinning room while my pizza was being made. I happen to glance to the back of the kitchen. I noticed the cook not using any gloves. After I brought my concerns to the employees working. Not once, did they ask the cook to put on his gloves. After sitting there, and continuing to periodically glance at the cook, I noticed he wiped his hands on his pants. I'm not sure what he was wiping, but touching food directly after was GROSS to see. Where's a food inspector when you need one. Stay WAY clear of this place. Unless, you're looking for a place to get you sick.

First time ordering Pizza Hut in years but I thought I would give them a try after browsing through their online menu. I found a deal on their website for 16 wings and two orders of fries for $18.80 (including delivery fee and tax). I get a call after placing the order by the employee telling me they didn't have fries but would give me mozzarella sticks instead. This was a bit annoyino but I agreed because I didn't want to change my order again. I wait an hour and a half and the pizza finally arrives (Which took way too long). The delivery man Mohammad (as stated on the receipt) handed me my food and receipt to sign for. I noticed the total was $27.25 even though my confirmation email said my total was $18.80. The delivery man scrambles around for a bit and tells me to get my phone and call the store to get it sorted out. Of course I call and I am told it would be fixed. After 4 days it is still not fixed no matter how many times I call. So I go on and eat my meal when I notice I have 15 wings instead of 16, which I figured it was a little mistake and wasn't going to get mad over that. I finish my meal and go outside to take out the trash and I see a little wing on the floor in front of my door covered in ants. I pick up the wing only to find out that it was the missing wing from my meal and realized that the delivery guy dropped my food outside my door and tried to pass it off like nothing happened. I call the store the next day to complain and could not even get in touch with a manager and the only thing they told me was that it couldn't be proven and gave me $8 in pizza Hut credit.... I will never eat at this establishment again. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had with a restaurant.

The food was good and fresh, however, took way too long. A personal pan used to be in"5 minutes or less or its free". All I can say after 25 minutes it's a good thing they don't have that any longer. The service was probably some of the worst I have ever had. I received my check with a friendly "whenever your ready" two minutes after she took my order. Typically you at least get some food before the bill is presented. Getting a refill on my drink seemed to put her out so I only asked once. There were only two others there and I can say this probably is the reason.

I ordered a pizza on line and the order was accepted. I received a confirmation email. I go to pick it up and the door is locked. They would not even answer the phone. I'll never go pack there!!!

This Pizza Hut is a whole 2 mins from my job so it's convenient. I have been there more than a few times, especially to get the lunch buffet they offer. The customer service here is unacceptable. There is one lady that has been there every time that I have gone and she is always nice and attentive. The other guy, I believe he is new is very oblivious to a customer's needs, my friend and I got up and walked out after sitting there for almost 15 mins waiting to give our drink orders! I'm sure I will go back, because of what I previously stated with it being very convenient but if you have one closer to you or you like good pizza I would suggest going to a different Pizza Hut or to Gino's Pizza by Walgreens.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
