Pretty basic, but decent food. This is clearly a pizza joint, but I went for the jerk chicken hoagie instead. It was good, but I've had better. I would be willing to come back again, and try the pizza, which looked very good. The restaurant is buried in the middle of a strip mall, with a lot of construction going on. If someone didn't tell you it was there, you would have a hard time finding it.

I've never been a super fan of this chain and this location didn't change my mind. This place is in need of a make over. The interior is pretty old and beat up. There lunch specials are good with a two topping slice with salad and drink for 6.99. But pound for pound there are other pizza places not too far from here that are much better.

The food wasn't that great and the service was even worse. I had heard great things about mellow mushroom, so maybe it was just this location. The restaurant was just plain dirty and the staff was Incredibly rude. Will not be back.

The woman at the counter took my order. I told her a friend and I would like to split a medium might meaty. I got a water, the friend got a coke. She reached her hand out to me and said "That'll be $22.30". I said "We wanted to split the pizza". Annoyed, she said, "Okay?? Then it's $11.15. I was appalled at how rude she was when I corrected her mistake. I then said "Well I don't want to split his coke". She said "Well that's the only way I can do it, right down the middle". I just paid it. The pizza was incredibly mushy and watery. I'm guessing she made that too. I will NEVER go back to this location ever again. This woman didn't only have an incredibly repulsive attitude, but she was confused on how to do her own job. Horrible, horrible service.

Being from Jacksonville, I've heard of this restaurant but never got a chance to try it. I'm finally glad I went to try it here in Georgia. I ordered the mushroom soup and the sweet Thai chili pizza. The mushroom soup was creamy and delicious. Perfect for the cold rainy night. The pizza was good as well, loved the cucumbers on it and even though I'm not a curry fan, the curry chicken wasn't too much and just the right portions. The crust blew me away... so soft and so delicious.

This was one of the best pizzas for a pizza chain. While I generally lean towards the Chicago-style deep dish pizza, I am really liking the thin crust pizza more and more. The pizza crust was tender on the inside. The flavor of the sauce blended well with the toppings. The pizza have the right about of cheese. Wonderful, just wonderful. This is one place I know I'll be going back to!

Me and my girlfriend love Mellow Mushroom pizza. It is freaking awesome!!! The service is great and they bring the food out to you quick. I have only been to it once but I will be coming back for more.

By far the worst Mellow Mushroom I have been too. The pizza was over cooked. They were out of most of their draft beers and pulled his gloves off and it went into the lettuce and he didn't even try to get it out. They were rude

Happy 40th birthday Mellow Mushroom! It had been several years since we last spent some time together. Today, however, they were having throwback prices to celebrate 40 years of business. I, along with approximately one million Gwinnettians, decided to come out of the woodwork for $2.50 cheese pizzas, $0.75 domestics, and $0.30 Cokes. We arrived promptly at 11:00 when they opened and were the third table in line. I thought my coworker was joking when he said he wanted to get there before they opened, but by 11:05 the line was out the door and continued to multiply for the hour we were there. I ordinarily eat at the Brookhaven or Sandy Springs Mellow Mushroom, and as another reviewer noted this is certainly not their flagship location. It's older, smaller, in a strip mall next to a closed old school movie theatre, and you order at the counter. The ambiance leaves room for desire, but I was here for the $2.50 pizza. That said, I would get a pizza to go from this location but continue to eat at the significantly nicer, newer Brookhaven and Sandy Springs locations. Sodas are self-serve from the drink machine. Pick up your napkins, plates, and silverware there as well. I noted the beers were bottles being poured into not quite full sized Solo cups. I guess $0.75 doesn't get you a red Solo cup, but then again you can't complain with that price. The pizza came out hot and fresh after about 30 minutes. I forgot how good Mellow Mushroom pizza really is. Sure, it's not Antico or Varasano's, but I would prefer it to all other Atlanta pizza parlors. A small pizza is more than enough to feed a person and probably have leftovers. I left stuffed for less than $3 before tip. I also wanted to hug the poor employees because I can only imagine what a chaotic and under tipped day Mellow Mushroom's 40th birthday is going to be. I would happily pick up a pizza to go from this location on the way home for work, but the location leaves room for desire by comparison to the other larger, nicer, newer locations in the metro area.

Really good pizza. I usually dislike the crust but theirs was rich and very tasty, What's not to like? I won't cast aspersions on the founder's drug habits due to the name of the chain. ;-)

Mellow Mushroom pizza is excellent when it REALLY comes together ... their cheese compliments their wheat-based crust splendidly! M.M. is one of the very first places I was taken to upon one of my first visits to Atlanta (oh, those many years ago) and in some ways, it has gotten better through the years. Don't get me wrong ... from time to time, You can get a dud pizza from M.M. but overall you will find that a visit to M.M. is certainly better than the 'Hut or it's close cousins. This location has been around for a good chunk of years and gone through multiple ownerships but always persevered with a good pizza ...

I can't stand this particular location. Everybody working here thinks they are so uniquely "cool" it makes me want to gag. If you do go, understand that being "cool" means: -You can' make eye contact w/the customers -You get irritated that a customer has the nerve to bother you and want to eat, place an order, ask questions, etc., etc., etc.. -You simply throw the customer's receipt in their general direction instead of handing it to them -Still putting a "tip" jar on the counter after acting like total asshole to customer I've tried lunch here several times and their nasty staff makes the place unbearable. So much so, I won't be back. But I'm assuming they are "too cool" to care

I have ordered pizza here from this location before and I do recall them having super incredibly delicious pizza and excellent service. The atmosphere is just that of your typical pizza joint. I had ordered their Holy Shitake Pie and absolutely loved and enjoyed it a lot. The three different mushrooms were soft and tender. The caramelized onions were so well cooked that sweet flavor from them is absolutely remarkable. I also loved the olive oil and garlic base as well. The cheese that they used on it tastes just perfectly. It did not taste too cheesy at all. The garlic aioli that they used on it was simply delicious as well. Also, the black truffle oil was simply divine as well. I also loved and enjoyed the fresh chives as well as the fresh shaved parmesan cheese that they have added to the pizza. Also the dough was just one of the most softest and the most moist pizza doughs that I have ever tasted and eaten with and on a pizza before. I definitely recommend this place for great pizza!

I don't go to Mellow Mushroom often, but my sister wanted it so we ordered two pies. House pesto with chicken added on it. This one was goood! The pesto sauce wasn't too strong. They had nice chunks of real chicken. Other toppings included were tomatoes, spinach and a hint of garlic. Pepperoni & mushroom was just okay. It was a bit too greasy for my liking. Actually, it was really greasy. I was tossing and turning from heartburn the rest of the night. Overall, it's better than Papa John's/Dominos, not as good as Varasano's or Antico.

This location is probably not the flagship of the franchise, but the food is good nonetheless. We went for lunch on the weekend, and it was almost completely empty inside. I had my reservations, but the food and service was solid. Must have hit it during an off hour, or something. I recommend the Philosopher's Pie, and order small. And small pizza is enough for two people. They also have excellent hoagie sandwiches. If anyone in your group has special dietary restrictions, this is the kind of place that can usually cater to everyone.

I would like to sincerely appologize to the staff of the Mellow Mushroom in Norcross. The last thing I wanted to do with my Saturday evening was interrupt your cellphone conversations, generally annoy you with my presence or force you to do anything you didn't want to do like assist a customer. I understand that you are veny busy, so I didn't mind that you so badly burned both of the calzones that I ordered. I clearly had selfish expectation since the other Mellow Mushroom locations that I have visited had nothing better to do with their time than provide excellent service and food. Again, my sincerest appologies and I assure you that it will NEVER happen again.

Awesome pizza! trully love the way put their topping, big chunky topping, especially the ham and the sausage. They also have a wheat pizza that trully is great to have if you looking for a low carb pizza

stopped here on our way home from the movies on Sunday because we were craving pizza. the inside was funky/psychedelic with the murals and menus but i liked it! the place wasn't too busy with about 4 other tables but busier than i thought for a Sunday. the worker that took our order was helpful in telling us some of the favorites among customers. we ordered a small Greek salad (which was enough for 2) and a 14" half special half Hawaiian. we sat and had a beer while the pizza baked and read some of the free weeklies that were placed inside the door. i liked this place a lot and i hadn't even had the pizza yet. haha! we went home opened the box and the pizza looked delicious! it was still warm (we didn't have far to drive) and was dusted with parmesan cheese. the salad was great too, nice and fresh with olives, pepperoncinis, banana peppers and lots of feta cheese. the toppings were great for the special which is what i would call a supreme pizza in Pizza Hut terms BUT this pizza had bacon on it! yumm! the Hawaiian was great too and the crust on this pizza is super tasty. would definitely go again and again and try new things each time.

I've always loved mellow mushroom when I was younger! Over the years they have evolved into a more corporate entity with a uniform look, this location was tucked away and was very clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. I ordered the baked wings which were to die for! I never knew that baked wings could be crispy and flavorful. Also ordered a philosophers pie and a steak and cheese calzone! All of it was fresh and hot definitely better than your common names in pizza. They are not that pricey but I love that everything is made cook to order. Will definitely be back!

Got take-out pies, so I can't speak for the service. The pizza was dry and the crust not worth the calories. All-in-all I would say this is the worst MM I've ever eaten at, across their multi-state spectrum.

If I could give this a lower rating I would. This was one of the worst mellow mushrooms I have ever been to. Do not step foot in here. Especially if you have special dietary needs, AKA gluten allergies. There menu specifically says they serve a gluten free pizza. But The staff has no idea what that means and has no desire to want to help you. So therefore I got very very sick after eating here due to there incompetence. Who knows what else they are doing or not doing behind the counter. I will never go back there. And I highly recommend the same for you.
