I have been here 2 times now. I am not the biggest fan of paying for my food before I eat it, but hey this is a Chinese buffet. I usually drink water to be healthy and to save a couple bucks, but here they include the drink with the buffet price... pretty sneaky. Food wasn't too bad. They had lots of options. They even had a Mongolian grill. Avoid the sushi. The fried rice was above decent. I think I would go back again if I was in the area, sure why not?

OK, let's be honest here... If you go to a Chinese buffet, you're not expecting fine dining and ambiance. You want a LOT of inexpensive Chinese food. Some fried chicken wings. Some soups. Maybe even some crab legs. And some soft serve ice cream. These guys had it all. I went here with 6 family members, and we all had a great time. Sure, some of the food was just OK, but some of it was great. I would recommend one or two dishes, but... it's a BUFFET! Try it all! if you don't like something, try something else! Coming from Chicago, where I am used to relying on Yelp for reliable ratings, I was hesitant to give this place a shot ("Two stars?! I'm not THAT hungry... :-/ "). After eating heartily, I sat back, reflecting and digesting, and looked around the restaurant, which was basically full on a Sunday afternoon. Why was this place ranked so low... by so many... yet so busy? Our group of 7 was seated within 3 minutes. Our waitress took our drink orders immediately, and kept our drinks filled while we were there. Whenever a dish was running low, it was replenished. So why the low average? I think the abundance of low marks came from the few people who had a really bad experience there, and felt compelled to dissuade others from making their mistake. As well, I think the lack of high marks lie in the fact that most of the clientele, frankly, didn't strike me as folks that visit restaurants based on Yelp reviews. I think the repeat customers go there because they like the huge selection (sushi, crab legs, AND plantains?!), the taste of the food, and the fact that you can show up on a Sunday afternoon with the whole family, and everyone will leave fat and happy. Despite the negative reviews, I'm glad we went here. The food was much better than I expected, and we all got what we wanted. What more can you expect from an American Chinese buffet? :-] Stay hungry, my friends.

Food is mediocre, at best. Some stuff is cold, some tasted lousy, some is OK. service is good.

I am truly envious of my coworkers. They have a super-power that I do not. Apparently this super-power allows one to eat horrible, horrible Chinese buffet food without getting immediately nauseous or sick later. Of course, if your objective is to cram the maximum amount of calories into your gaping maw before your 1 hour lunch break is up, then consider this a mission accomplished by going to this place.

When this place first opened, the food was good and super cheap. I'm assuming it has to be to get customers through the door and back again. As time progresses, the food has noticeably gone downhill. There's less flavor in the food, and some of the food are lukewarm, if at that. The food tastes bland and even with the pricing I still feel ripped off eating here. Yes, it's cheap Chinese buffet food but there are other cheap Chinese buffets around the area that I would stop by instead.

This restaurant had very good food nothing taste bad that is what the 2 stars are for, the place was clean and it is the first Chinese buffet that i have found so far around the Lawrenceville area that had good food. As for the service I was a little upset and so was my husband because when we got there they brought us to a booth, which that is perfectly fine we prefer booths my child is better contained that way, but then the seating guy and the waitress started to make a big deal about where my husband sat they were like you should let her sit there, talking about me, because my belly sticks out farther than my husbands, (at the moment i am on Weight Watchers i have already lost 26lbs). but anyways i thought it was rude i am sitting there like why don't you let me figure out it if am too big for a seat. Then we are sitting down and the waitresses hang out near our booth and kept leaning against the back of my booth seat and pushing on it. Also if you are going for the crab legs be quick cause some of the inconsiderate people there will jump up and take every last one of them mostly the spanish families I was not raised that way i leave some for others. Then it seems like it takes the kitchen 30 minutes to get more out. They should not judge people on there size you don't know my story i am currently doing something about it. and on another note i am usually really easy to please.

I'm glad I hadn't read any of these reviews before eating here. And yes, I'm giving it five stars. I've never had better food or service from a buffet restaurant in this price range. Everything's Americanized, of course, but that's what I wanted. The sushi was very good, and they probably had ten different varieties. The hot buffet was impressive. The steamed clams were excellent, probably the best I've had anywhere. Food temperature is a big deal for me, but I had absolutely no concerns here--and this is probably the only Chinese buffet in Atlanta about which I can say that. I saw on the way out that the health department score is 100. I ordered a Dr Pepper and later, when our server offered me a refill from a pitcher, I realized too late she had said it was "Pepsi." My mistake. I told her it was no problem, but she brought me a new glass of Dr Pepper anyway. They wouldn't do that everywhere. When she brought the check--late in the meal--she said "Take your time." Again--they don't do that everywhere. The lady running front-of-house was friendly and outgoing, recommending everybody try the hibachi. That was kind of sweet. We took our baby son and (as usual) we asked for a table that was semi-private and out of the way. Most places give us attitude when we ask, but here they just found us a place we liked. The only thing I wish had been different is the same at every buffet place: They really should change the tongs out maybe once per hour. Tongs that have been used for a while get, at a minimum, unsightly. But that issue isn't unique to this place at all. They play B98.5-style pop at a relatively loud volume, but it wasn't a dealbreaker. Lunch for two adults with two drinks is $18. Bottom line: These people act like they care. This is my new go-to buffet. I'm a fan.

Nasty! I just saw on CBS Atlanta that this place has failed TWO out of the last THREE health inspection reports. They had a 53 Unsatisfactory rating in the most recent. Ouch!!! According to CBS, who quoted the health report, the restaurant was storing whole RAW fish over corn. They also had an employee who coughed into his hand and then went back to preparing food without changing his gloves. Sounds nasty. YUCK!!!! Who gave this place five stars?

Like the other reviews, I have to agree the food here isn't great. But it definitely isn't dirty or unsanitary. The trick here is not to load up your plate with things you think you might like, but try a very small sample of different things and when you find something you do like, load up. Some of it is really good. I liked the sesame chicken and the chow mein. My friend said tthe mussels were really good but not the crab legs. They have a very large selection of items and everything looked clean and organized. The price was right and the service was great.

I happened to pass this place. Being the sucker for Chinese buffets that I am, I whipped right in. I checked the Yelp! reviews (a MUST- always), and decided to go in. I realize that "never" is an over used word. One that we should "never" use, actually. However, I have "NEVER" seen SO MUCH FOOD on a buffet before. These folks have three football field length steam tables FULL of all sorts of Chinese buffet food. I must say that I was overwhelmed with excitement. I didn't know where to start. I sat down with THREE plates because I wanted to get a small sample of lots of stuff. WOW. I'm not in this neighborhood often at all, but you best believe that when I am, I WILL be HERE. The place was quite clean. Ladies room was clean. Booth seating is worn and torn. The servers were all female, and all were nice, plus easy on the eyes. Some of the dishes I had were really good, and others, not so much. Stay away from the spinach casserole, no matter how good and cheesy it looks. Tastes awful. Try the Imitation Crab Casserole- delicious! I'm going to make that one at home. They have a Chicken Pie that would've been great, except they left grissel(sp?) on the chicken pieces, so I couldn't eat it without every other bite ending up in my napkin. Anyway, just skip it. Unless you like grissle(sp?). Skip the Sweet & Sour Chicken, the chicken inside was dry and stringy. There's SO much food here, skip the losers. Off to a great start, hope they keep it up!

I like this place been coming for a year. I come here whenever my usual Chinese buffet is full or if im in this area. The female employees most of them look real nice LOL pros: 1. Variety of foods 2. Grilled Burbon chicken is amazing!!! even better when made fresh. 3.Service is good 4...I give over all food quality a 61/2 out of 10 10 being excellent( When the food is right out the kitchen it is a 10. Fresh) Cons: 1. Kids,Kids,Kids(The employees have kids and let them run around in the evening time.Taking up space and adding extra noise.) 2. Salad bar is just ok. 3.Small areas to eat. 4. Building looks kind of old. Could use some renovation. I will come back again 70% because food is good and place is descent. 30% because some of the girls look great and very friendly.

The food isn't the best. The service SUCKED! The so called "boss lady" is lazy with no manner. This place is DIRTY. As I came to get a plate, there were still rice all over the plate. I brought attention to the "boss lady", who was just sitting around, and she literally pointed her fingers towards the dirty buckets and addressed me to just put it there as I am the "customer". Not only that but she rolled her eyes at me too. Horrible service!

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. An absolute nightmare! Unsanitary, disgusting food, just horrible. This place is why I usually refuse to go to any buffet, especially Chinese. The only positive thing is the servers are very nice and when we accidentally left my sons blanket there, they kept it safe until we got back.

I kept getting Chinese food flyers in my door, but instead of delivery I wanted to drive there as I am too cheap to order the minimum for delivery. When I mapquested the location, I did not even feel like driving either, so instead I thought I would try this place that I pass often near my place. Yeah, I know it is an all you can eat buffett, but I thought I'd get something to go. When I walked in, I asked the cashier who was on the phone in an obvious personal call, if I could get my order to go. She pointed to a stack of styrofoam containers. Yay. I grabbed one and commenced to the food area where I picked out various forms of chicken, some rice, some veggies. They had more than just Chinese food too! Girrrrl....they have plantain. You know that is my all time fave food. I got some of that but I decided to bypass the dessert counter, even though the cakes looked delicious. I already know that I will be coming here a few times a week, so I will try the desserts another time. I got some hot and soup, too. My total for my bounty with shoes on it: $6.33. The take-away is weighed and charged by the pound. Cool. I win! I got the hot and sour soup I was craving, the plantain that was an added surprise and managed to skirt a $12.00 minimum delivery fee. It suits my needs while I do my thang...but three stars is enuf. :/

Don't walk but run away from this place. The food is absolutely disgusting, employees are mostly all rude, and the place is filthy. Also, if they seat you in the back room where they have like 4 tables there is a shelf right behind one of the tables where the waitress puts all the dirty dishes from that room! Seriously, right behind the table where people are eating! I'm pretty sure that is not legal for them to do and will be reporting them to the health department. If I could give them 0 stars I would...

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
