Really enjoyed this place! Big, clean, and nice shiny wooden tables. We felt really comfortable here. The servers were friendly, and the owner even came over and talked to us for a while! He explained that all of the tables in the place were handmade by him and that all of the food they serve in the restaurant is also homemade - they even make the bread from scratch! We ordered the smoked wings as a starter, and they were hot (in temp), smoky, and delicious. They got us excited about our dinner that was to come. My hubby ordered a full rack of ribs, and I ordered the brisket. His ribs were good, but his sides were only a bit above average. As for my brisket, it had a great flavor, but it was kind of on the dry side. My sides were also above average. Overall, we do plan to return. We will definitely order the smoked wings again, but if I give the brisket a second chance, I will let them know that I don't want the lean part. Overall, we enjoyed our experience!

Just a great place. Have been here many times the past few months working down here. Is also a mile from our office so very convenient. The smoked wings were amazing. Am starting to just order a different menu item each time we come here.

The ribs are exceptional, the rest is hit or miss. I like the pork and the tater salad and collard greens, the sausage and mac n cheese could be better but still not bad, and the rest I don't remember. Overall it's a pretty good place for 'cue and I will keep coming back.

I really liked this place. We ate here because ricky was craving bbq and this place was not far so we decided to try it. I had the baby back ribs and ricky had the chicken and pulled pork and it was all very good. Even the sides of slaw and fries were good. Sweet tea on point. Good service (our waiter was super nice!). Prices are a bit high for me to regularly go to but whenever I can and craving bbq I will def be back. Def recommend.

Solid barbecue. Four sauce options - I combined the classic and hot to find my happy place. Extremely large portions, in my opinion. My sandwich was so large, I had to eat some of the beef brisket on the side (and it was wonderful - no complaints in that regard). Great, roomy atmosphere and service.

Wow. It's so rare that a lifelong industry professional like myself is blown away by a dining experience but 'cue has done it. Remarkably warm and sincere service from start to finish and the FOOD. OMG the FOOD. Sliced pork=thick slabs of insanely juicy and well flavored pork sitting beside outstanding collard greens, rich and velvety (without being cloying) Mac and cheese and tempura like fried okra straight from heaven. Even the white bread which I usually don't fancy was delicious and homemade. Where have you been all of my life? GO TO 'cue NOW!!!!

Not the best BBQ I've ever had, but it was indeed a satisfying meal, shared with fellow Yelpers Daniel B. and Vyvy T. Good food, great company, and a Hawks playoff win came together for a very enjoyable meal. Cue Barbecue is located off Medlock Bridge and Peachtree Parkway and is pretty much on it's own in a newly built and quiet strip mall. The restaurant itself is quite spacious, with two main dining areas and an outdoor patio. It could use more than two TV's but, it'll do for now - we watched the Hawks playoff games as they gladly changed the channel for us. There were only a couple other parties eating in the restaurant during dinner time on a Tuesday evening. There's a couple other locations of Cue in North Georgia, so I assume that this is a little mini-BBQ chain. Service was great - southern charm and friendliness all around. I wish NYC restaurant staff could be half as welcoming and friendly as the folks here. Food: There were four different kinds of sauce - mustard based (didn't try - not my thing), tomato based (my favorite), vinegar based (didn't try) and the Cue Hot sauce (mixes perfectly with the tomato based sweet BBQ sauce) We shared four platters with four different kinds of meat each: - Sliced brisket - a bit dry and the serving size was a bit small. Not the best brisket out there. - Sausage - fat and juicy, just the way I like it. No complaints here - comes with a side of green peppers and sauerkraut. - Smoked sliced pork - probably my favorite out of the bunch, as it was a good mix of fat and flesh. - Half rack of ribs, shared - not fall-off-the-bone. Good flavoring, but a bit on the dry side. Sides: - Brunswick stew - this was one of the better Brunswick stews I've had as it wasn't overpowering with chunks of meat and was not too salty. Very much a tomato-based soup. - Fried okra - this was okay... not the best fried okra I've had - a bit too much batter. - Collard greens - delicious - not overcooked and not too overpowering with the ham hock flavor - Mac and cheese - macaroni was too soggy, but otherwise good cheese-to-pasta ratio - Sweet potato casserole - SO GOOD. My favorite of all of the side dishes. I couldn't stop picking at this. Not too sweet and not too buttery. Smooth, but not like baby food smooth. Definitely a must get. - Bacon beans - not too runny and a good consistency. Not too much meat in the beans. Some places have meat overload in the beans and it makes me a little sick with meat overload in general. - Potato/deviled eggs salad - I had one small bite of this because I'm not really a fan of potato salad in general. Thus, my opinion is moot. Overall, Cue is a decent spot for Southern cooking and barbecue if you're not willing to drive out to the other more famous BBQ spots in Georgia that are not anywhere near Gwinnett County.

Cue BBQ is delicious. The best fried okra ever. The bananas doster is super yummy also. Nice outdoor seating area with lights and very cool decor inside. The kids loved the mac n cheese. Everything we got was delicious.

There are times when you wish that you could be like chef Robert Irvine and ask for one of every item on a menu. This was one of those times. I ordered the "half bird" with macaroni & cheese and collard greens. The meal was pricey, but the food was well worth it overall. The delicious chicken was a REAL lift-it-from-the-flaming-grill barbeque, not some undercover shake and bake slattered with sauce. (Speaking of sauce, there are 4 varieties on the table. One looks like mustard; another looks like ketchup. If you prefer a molasses/brown sugar, tomato-based sauce, swing by a CVS or Publix on your way to eat.) The collard greens were good, although they were just slightly undercooked. The macaroni and cheese had nice, firm noodles; however, the cheese did not appear to be (nor taste like) cheddar, plus there was an after-taste of allspice or something, so if you are a M&C traditionalist (like myself), steer clear. Lastly, the meal was accompanied by the best. grilled. toast. ever! Move over Texas toast, there's a NEW loaf in town! 'Cue it up, baby; I will be back!

Impressed w/ the food & friendliness of the bartender. However, we waited a very long time (close to 45 mins) for our to-go order, which consisted of 3 combo plates w/ 2 sides each, & a dessert. I love that they have 4 different sauces (I'm assuming all made in house). My favorites are the hot sauce & mustard. ~smoked pork - perfectly cooked & delicious ~smoked brisket - a bit dry in my opinion ~banana doster - mmm.. was too full but somehow still made room for this ~corn casserole - amazing! this was the vegetable of the day so it's not usually on the menu; although, it should be! ~mac n cheese - they weren't kidding when they said this is the best mac n cheese; while I don't think it's the best mac n cheese I've ever had, it's probably the best one around the area Love the decor here. Plenty of parking. Outdoor patio available if weather permits. Live music on Friday nights.

I just stopped in here and got something to go while heading back to Atlanta. I was aiming for a little roadside bbq shack and was a little disappointed when I pulled up in front of a trendy looking bbq place. It was the middle of a Sunday afternoon and the place was empty- not sure if it was the timing or that this place is new (at least I think it's new). The menu is simple- pork bbq, brisket, and some other cuts of meat all at reasonable prices (the pork bbq sandwich is just under $7). I opted for the chopped brisket sandwich, which was a little less than $9. I was completely blown away. I get BBQ everywhere I go because it's my favorite food. My boyfriend and I almost got in an accident because we were fighting over who got the next bite. It was a huge mound of brisket on delicious bread- not your typical grocery store bought potato bun. It came with a side of sauce that was unique but delicious. The side of pickles were also amazing and tasted home made (not sure if they are). I hope to drive back past here. This sandwich was slammin and will go down in my bbq history book.

'Cue could easily earn another star if Yelp offered one. They are Excellent all the way around... A couple of years ago, I had tried another location of 'Cue and really enjoyed and finally tried this new Norcross location "closer to home" and found it equally as good. There are a number of places where BBQ meats are "pretty good" but the "sides" are rather dismal, but not at 'Cue. Their sides are so good that I could eat a veggie plate and be very satisfied. But that is "almost" ... I decided to go for broke and try their ribs and I was not disappointed whatsoever. A half size is a huge serving of ribs and they are truly "fall off the bone" with a delicious flavor. The brunswick stew is a very good appetizer or side and is full of meats with a smattering of the required vegetables. It has a somewhat acidy, smokey taste that was very enjoyable. I, personally, love their french fries. They are meaty strings of fresh-tasting potato that stand up to the great 'Cue meats. The collard greens are top notch and we tried the sweet potato casserole which is also a great choice. 'Cue has four different homemade BBQ sauces on the tables. Try all four because each is interesting and tasty in its own way. The service we had top-notch! Our main server was Haley and we found her cheerful and uber-efficient. She was backed up by James who was equally friendly and helpful. Great service all the way around! 'Cue has done a lot with the formally mexican restaurant that occupied this space. The interior has been redone from top to bottom and is overall a handsome redo. The floors are the type of "buffed" concrete that is oh-so-trendy now, and with high ceilings it's clear that the noise level in here could be ridiculous but it was sane on the day we visited (thankfully). You will find 'Cue at the far end of a nondescript shopping center on Peachtree Industrial blvd in Norcross. Rock on, 'Cue!

Before I try a new restaurant, I usually Yelp it and I decided to check this place out based on the reviews. I ordered half rack of ribs and sausage with the potato salad and cole slaw to go. The ribs were pretty tasty and tender, but I've had better. The sausage was excellent but the sides were nothing special. The potato salad is supposed to be a deviled egg potato salad but I didn't see any eggs.lol Maybe the eggs are blended with the excessive mayo or something. The slaw was also soaked with mayo. I'll give the ribs a 4, the sausage a 5, and the slaw and potato salad a 3. I should be giving this place a 4 but it's quite expensive considering there are 2 other BBQ joints down the street with food just ask good.

Pretty good barbecue in Norcross. Finally something a little closer to me. Now, I don't have to necessarily go downtown or to Kennesaw/Acworth for worthy BBQ. I got the pulled pork sandwich ($6), collard greens & macaroni and cheese ($2.95/each). The pulled pork sandwich was on a home made bun. The meat delicious and very tender. The bun was nice and soft and tasted great as well. The sides - the greens were pretty good. Not too much vinegar. I didn't need to add anything to them. The macaroni and cheese was bland. Didn't have enough cheese. Everything I ordered (sans the mac, I'd definitely order again). My boyfriend got the full rack of baby back ribs! (I ended up taking half of these and he had half my sandwich) Absolutely delicious!! I haven't been had baby backs in a long time. I'll be coming back just for those! He also had french fries that were pretty good as well. Thumbs up! I'll definitely be revisiting. Hopefully sooner than later.

Went there last night, and sat at the bar. Served by Brandi, the bartender, who did an excellent job. I actually came here on the recommendation of a colleague, and I was suitably impressed. I ordered the chopped pork platter, with 2 sides: 1. The loaded baked potato...yum! 2. Pittsburgh coleslaw, which was vinegar based. It was 'different' and I ate about half, but I think I'll go for the traditional slaw next time The pork was good, and I received a generous helping...but it seems to be lacking some real flavor. I applied three of their four BBQ sauces, the original tomato based sweet, the NC vinegar sauce, and the hot BBQ sauce. All three we de-lish, bu tmy fave was the NC vinegar based sauce. Haven't had that kind of sauce since I was stationed at Ft. Bragg in 1984 and attended a "pig-pickin" there on base! Drank two glasses of Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale on draft, which was outstanding. Overall, a pretty good meal. Suggest that the owners take a ride down to Country's BBQ in Columbus, GA to see what real well seasoned and BBQ'd chopped pork tastes like (Mercury Drive in Columbus, GA, and say hello to Jim for me...) 4 Stars!

Checked out this place a couple of weeks ago with the wife and a fellow foodie. It is a new location on this side, the other location i'm familiar with is in Alpharetta. It was cold as hell out, but we had to get our grub on. Quickly got in and ordered drinks, and entrees right away. I got the rib plate, wife got the brisket sandwich plate. Forgot to take pictures, bummer. I'll do it on my next visit. Overall, we had a great time. Food was delicious, ambient was great, and service was pretty good. We will try this place again on a warmer day!

This place is the truth. I'm gluten dairy and grain free. They make their own sauce and don't throw in high fructose corn syrup. Meats come out smoking hot and fresh.. Service is great. I've been 3 times in 4 days. I'll be back again for the baby back and beans!!

I wanted some Southern BBQ before I went back home and my relatives took me here. Nice, clean, open interior that felt really comfortable. Our server was super duper friendly and attentive. I ordered their 2 item combo with chopped beef brisket and hot link. The sides I got were the mayo based cole slaw and brunswick stew. The brisket was a little dry but still very flavorful. The link was just plain dry. Very disappointing. Reminded me of a veggie soy hot dog. Skip it. The cole slaw tasted identical to whats served at KFC. The brunswick stew was my favorite. It complimented the piece of toast that came with it. I took a bite of someone's bbq chicken and it was very tender and yummy. There are 4 different bbq sauces. I enjoyed the mustard based sauce and the tomato based sauce. We shared the banana doster that was plain ridiculously delicious! Creamy, sweet, nice textures. I would come back just to eat this! Overall, I expected more from the food here. It was adequate but not mind blowing(save the dessert). Prices were cheap for the amount of food you get. Maybe next time Cue!

The place is pretty good. It's a newer BBQ joint to the area as I understand it and I only just discovered it. Stopped in to give it a try for dinner one evening. Place was pretty quiet that evening, only a handful of other folks eating. I ordered the sliced beef brisket plate. The beef brisket itself was on point for what I asked for, and that was for it to be extra lean and trimmed of fat. I can not tolerate fat. What I wasn't sure about was the portion size. I'm a pretty big fan of places that do a good portion where I can get a couple of buns to make a sandwich or two. I couldn't do that here. I can easily accomplish this at the other several places I frequent, I'd dare say I got about half the portion I was expecting. I also thought it was a bit on the dry and bland side of things. I usually like my brisket to have a good, hearty rub that should have barked up pretty solid in the smoking process, there wasn't much of any bark on it which probably lead to it's blandness I'm guessing. The sauces were all good, albeit a bit runny for my general liking. In theme with my liking to make sandwiches or just generally mopping meat through the sauce, since it was required to give flavor to the meat, but I'd also like it to stick on there. The sides I had were the bacon beans and the Brunswick stew. The bacon beans were an 'interesting' take on that type of baked beans. They were not very bacon-y, but they also weren't brown sugar sweet. They did have maybe a slight tang to them that I wasn't expecting, I probably won't order them again. The brunswick stew hit a home run. It was well balanced, tomato based, great balance of meat/veggies, the works. I will get that again, might even do it as a bowl on it's own in the future. I will go back to try more stuff over time. This place is a welcome addition to that side of Norcross.

'Cue Barbecue...homemade everything ya'll! Get ready to get your hands dirty at one of the best BBQ places in town! BBQ is one of those foods that you can get it everywhere, but its also done a little differently at each places, and 'Cue is no exception. If you're a barbecue hound, you should definitely check out 'Cue. Don't take my words for it, go and test it out yourself. 'Cue serves a variety of food including BBQ, Smoked Jumbo wings, Grilled Pizza, Salads, Sandwiches, Platters, Sides, and of course Desserts! Sandwiches are served with homemade bun and homemade pickles. This is a good options for those of us who can't finish all of our food. The homemade bun is delicious. Platters are served with choices of two sides, grilled homemade bread and homemade pickles. I personally would recommend getting the platters. It has so much to offer, and I feel like it's the best deal. BBQ - Smoked Pork - Smoked Beef Brisket - Smoke Barbecue Chicken - Baby Back Ribs (half or full) Smoked Pork: I thought that the meat was just like any other places I've tried. It was good, but nothing too special. Baby Back Ribs (full): I'm in love with the ribs! It's so moist and delicious. It's so easy to eat the ribs, it's just a simple pull and the bone slide away. I love how they marinated the ribs in BBQ sauce before serving it. Sides I like: - Hand Cut Russet Fries - Creamy Mac & Cheese - Brunswick Stew - Deviled Egg Potato Salad Hand Cut Russet Fried: It's crunchy and fresh! Creamy Mac & Cheese: It's creamy and delicious, but it 's definitely not the best I've had. Brunswick Stew: the best stew I've had so far. Perfect to serve in the winter time. Overall, 'Cue is definitely one of my favorite places when it comes to Southern BBQ. The Baby Back Rib is a must try. It's hard to explain in words, but just finish reading my review and go do yourself a favor and order the Baby Back Rib. You heard me. Bye bye. See you next time 'Cue.

Great new BBQ joint in Norcross. Good service and friendly staff. Will definitely be back with wifey for more sweet meals. I had the BBQ chicken sandwich and the Brunswick stew. Both were excellent. Even the pickles they supply with Each meal were excellent. They have four sauces you can add. I preferred the Kansas City style and the hot vinegar style. Highly tasty. Looking forward to having this establishment less than five minutes from my house.

Man, this review has been sitting in the to-go area for a couple months now. All I've got to say about that is: morning sickness/first trimester is no joke. I'm back now. =) So, around August or September sometime, smh, I ordered the smoke pork platter. My sides were macaroni & cheese and collard greens with a THICK slice of bread. If my memory serves me correctly, I think it was white bread. The macaroni & cheese was very thick and creamy. It was good; I just wish the baby would have agreed, too. The pulled pork was thickly sliced and was tender. The collard greens were slightly forgettable and lacked seasoning. The bread was... bread. It was a nice addition. Now, the sauces were another nice addition. The red house sauce was tangy and sweet. The yellow mustard? sauce wasn't so great. All in all, if you've got your mouth set on some barbecue & you're in this area, this will do! 4 stars!

The food was amazing-- we just ate here. James was our server and he was very attentive and personable. My kids had the grilled cheese and fries and the beef sliders with macaroni and cheese. The fries were so good we all had to try a few. The portions were great, plenty of food to go for later. The Brunswick stew was meaty and delicious! This is an absolute MUST try and will be my families go to restaurant for OUTSTANDING barbecue!

Well after a 13+ hour drive me and the oldest were hungry, and being in the south, we need good Cue! A quick Yelp search turned up this place. We walk in to order take out, the service was quick, there was live music playing and our order came out in about 5 minutes. I got the brisket, grilled pineapple and deviled egg potato salad. The meat is smoked perfectly, the sides are wonderful as well ! I recommend!

It's just okay... The service was really good. The prices were mostly reasonable. The food was only okay. On top of that the bbq sauces left a lot to be desired. I doubt I'll go back because there are several good bbq places in the area, and this one just doesn't have anything special about it.

My experiences with bbq in atlanta is limit3d, however this place is far yummilicious over other bbq joint i have tried. This is their 3rd location in atlanta so they must be doing something right. The full rack is good price and yummier than sonny, othwr american eatery like chilis, and etc. Recommended their sauces too, finger licking good, not dry at all.

I'm not a bbq connoisseur, but I do enjoy a good smoked meat with some delicious sides. First - our service was great. Tory was our server and she was attentive, not annoying, and made us all laugh. And she gets big props for offering all of us a to-go cup of our drinks before bringing the checks (which they seemed to have no problem splitting - great for a lunch with coworkers). The food - well, it was ok. I had the chopped pork platter with deviled egg potato salad, mac n cheese, the standard little cup of pickles and a piece of bread that was much more substantial than any bread I've ever gotten at a bbq joint. There were four bottles of sauce on the table - a mustard sauce, a sweet sauce and 2 vinegar-based sauces that are less like sauce and more like salad dressing consistency (one spicier than the other). I generally enjoy mixing a vinegary sauce with a sweet sauce, but I also tried each individually and none of them did it for me...even my self-made combo sauce wasn't quite what I wanted. The Mac n cheese was ok. The macaroni was overcooked and the cheese reminded me of a velveeta sauce. I think the addition of some shredded cheese and cooking the macaroni about half of the time would make it much better. I was really excited about the deviled egg potato salad because I love deviled eggs and I love potato salad. This one was a bit of a miss for me because it was too sweet for my liking and while I remember at least one large egg yolk piece, I missed the egg white pieces entirely. I'm not sure if there were any in there, but I couldn't finish it due to the sweetness. I didn't try the bread, even though it looked great. And I thought the pickles were ok, but I love pickles and was hoping for a little more from them. No biggie. The chopped pork was a bit dry, but had ok flavor. I didn't dislike it, but I also wasn't blown away or even all that excited by it. One big plus (aside from our great service) was the fact that we went there at the lunch rush, were immediately seated and our meals came out within just a few short minutes after ordering. My coworkers enjoyed their brisket and chopped chicken, and I think their reviews might be less critical than mine. In all honesty, I kinda feel like I've had about the same - if not slightly better - from the Shane's down the street. Sorry, but it's true.

Wow! Wow! Wow! After hearing raves about this place, I can say that it doesn't disappoint. Nachos (BBQ chicken) blew me away. Meat is hands down best BBQ I have had at a restaurant in Atlanta since I've moved here. Servings were generous and sides great (though, okra had basically no salt). I will definitely be spreading the news about place. Great product and great value. Friendly and attentive staff.

Initial experience wasn't great. There was a ventilation issue and food was lacking. Back per the owners request. Much better experience. Brisket was tender and the ventilation was obviously addressed. I appreciate the owner sending a note explaining the circumstances. Impressive that the Management cares about customer feedback. Will visit again. Thank you

We were visiting friends in the area and the four of us ate here on Aug. 28, 2014. Even though we do not live in the South presently, my husband spent many of his growing up years there and has frequently mentioned to me that southern barbecue is unique, delicious, and no other barbecue can compare. Our meals at 'Cue lived up to that reputation! I had the smoked, chopped pork platter and he had a full rack of baby back ribs. My pork was perfect-tender, lean (extremely important to me), with little bits of delicious charred pieces, and very generous in portion-as were all of the meals. Four different barbecue sauces gave me a chance to try different and fun flavors-a tomato based house, a spicy house, a mustard and a vinegar based. I was partial to the mustard sauce! My husband loves ribs and said that his were the meatiest he's ever had. All the sides are homemade and I chose the deviled egg potato salad and the Bourbon sweet potato casserole. Both were delicious but the sweet potato casserole was out of this world incredible! The homemade toasted bread complemented the meal perfectly and each plate had homemade pickles to boot! My husband continues to rave about his ribs and the side of freshly hand-cut French Fries! One of the other members of our party had the Southwestern Barbecue Chicken salad with homemade Chipoltle Ranch dressing. It was huge and looked fabulous. My only regret is there was no room for dessert-I would love to have had room to try the Bananas Doster. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive and our service prompt-even when I changed my order after it had already been turned in. I enjoyed the interesting, fun, and unique vintage décor. Amazingly each of the tables was handmade by one of the owners! The restaurant is roomy, and even though there was a sports bar on the other side and music playing overhead, it was not so loud that we could not enjoy the conversation at our table. Personally I so appreciate it when an establishment recognizes that people want to talk without having to shout! We would highly recommend 'Cue to any of our friends heading to this part of the country and hope we can return again soon!

We've had lunch and dinner at Cue multiple times, and always left impressed. The "Veggie of the Day" never disappoints, and I can't say enough about their BBQ meats. The only sad part is that I usually eat all my meal and forget to save room for the excellent Bananas Foster dessert. We loved the place so much, that we had them cater my daughter's wedding (60 people) last weekend in Dahlonega. The brought out the smoker and cooked the meats onsite at the venue and made some of the best tasting meats I've ever had (we had chicken, pulled pork, and brisket for all). Not only was the food fantastic, but they provided four of the best, most kind-hearted servers we could ask for... they did everything from serve the champagne for the toast, make and serve drinks, cleaned up afterwards and every step along the way they were fantastic company. Of all of the places we have eaten in the past few years, this is the one I would wholeheartedly recommend to all of my friends. If you are even considering a BBQ buffet-style event (corporate or personal), I can't recommend them enough. Reasonable prices, fantastic food and the best people available - what else could you ask for?

As a fan of Swallow At The Hollow, and knowing what Cue is capable of, I am thoroughly let down. I know that the Cue folks split from Swallow a while back, but I was hoping that they would take the best parts of Swallow with them. Service was great, given a busy post-church crowd, and atmosphere is really cool, woodsy-Southern, which makes for a nice ambience not usually found in a strip-mall on Peachtree Indy. Given that I don't eat a lot of meat, take what I say with a grain of smoked salt here. The ladyfriend's brisket was really dry, but the bark had a nice smoke to it (you are off the hook here). The pulled chicken was a little over-sauced for my tastes, which isn't fair for the chicken, because it really should've shined under these circumstances, but the sauce kinda muddled the smokey flavor. Greens were average, with just a hint of that bottom of the pot goodness that people seem to go nuts for. The bread is what I am writing home about today. The bread is a little on the heavy side, but the flavor is really good. Worth tasting all by it's lonesome. I've always wanted to try the location on Hwy 9, but I am a little hesitant given today's outing, but I can't show this much disdain this soon. I will go back, but to the Milton location, and hopefully their food will knock my socks off.

Big fan of 'Cue!! The fiancé and I try to make this a weekly destination, as there's not lots of BBQ in Norcross. I've tried the brisket, chicken, house-made sausage, and every one was delicious! Nice bark on the brisket, yet still juicy. Sausages take a little more time, but are well worth the wait! Sides are also mouth-watering, like the deviled-egg potato salad, the bourbon sweet potato casserole, brunswick stew, all very flavorful without being too rich or heavy. Having Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale on tap doesn't hurt, either :) Be sure to save room for the dessert, bananas doster is NOT to be missed!

The food here is good with one exception. For some reason, they cannot figure out how to serve the food HOT. The meat was literally cold. The manager was very nice and made an effort to resolve but I was still served food that was not HOT. I won't be back!

Tip: whatever the seasonal vegetable is, order it. I have never been disappointed. Live music on the weekends, sauces and sides that are made from scratch, reasonably priced kids meals, some of the things that make this place a great find. Some ordering tips: share a whole rack of ribs with another adult, and just order a couple sides extra if you like, rather than ordering two platters. It can be a lot of food. For the kids, try ordering the slider appetizer, which includes four sliders, chicken or pork, that the kids can split. Staff is always friendly, efficient, and professional. One thing I'd like to see is a kids meal choice for a small bbq sandwich.

I really like this place. Solid food. Great BBQ for a commercial place. Excellent smoked wings that are flash fried to a finish. Love the choice of sides. It's a little pricey given the "home style cooking" genre, but that's understandable for dinner. They desperately need a lunch special however. Also, the beer choose could be improved.

I had heard big stuff about this place. I stopped in by myself for lunch and ordered way more than I can eat. Cue is a pretty cute place and much bigger than you'd expect from the outside. You can sit at the bar and look through the window of the wall and see the other side of the restaurant. Inside was not busy at all, though it was about 3pm. My food came out fast, too! They say everything is homemade, and for dessert they have a seasonal cobbler. On this particular day, it was peach! Sliced barbeque beef brisket on a buttery bun.. grilled slightly. It was tasty but needed sauce because it was a little dry for me. Luckily, their main BBQ sauce is delicious. It's tomato-y and not too thick. It was up my alley - I love things like tomato soup, and it reminded me a little of that! I also really liked their vinegar based sweet sauce that is good for soaking into the beef. My server was really nice. I ordered stuff to go and she was super helpful with suggestions. I started wiping the table at one point because I made a mess, and someone (manager?) walking by stopped me and picked up the garbage. Overall, pretty cool place. I'd go back for an easy BBQ lunch, the cool bar and the great service.

We have been here about twice a month since it opened. It continues to improve. My wife LOVES the half bird and forget the sauce, there is plenty on the table if needed. I am a fan of the house made sausage and the pulled pork. Yes, pulled. Just ask. For sides I like the Pittsburgh Slaw and now the fried okra. The Pittsburgh Slaw is vinegar based and for the uninitiated, it is yellow because of the turmeric in it. Pittsburgh may be a misnomer but who cares, it's good. The fried okra is excellent. You can actually taste the okra! It has a very light tempura like batter and is not overcooked. I will have to agree with several other comments about the brisket. It is too dry. Perhaps a Texas brisket class is in order?

Yum!! I've been to the Milton location several times but was overjoyed to see this location open in a walking distance spot from where I live - walking after BBQ is a great idea! The pork is awesome- moist and delicious. I tried chicken off someone's plate at the other location and preferred the pork, which is unusual for me. I love the sides here - deviled egg potato salad has an awesome tangy ness. The hand cut fries were delicious. The bacon beans are good. I need to try more delicious sides like the mashed sweet potatoes with Marshmallow!! The rolls are the best part - so I recommend a sandwich with some sides - a platter has 2 sides to sample. They make fresh bread there and it's all the difference!! There are four sauce choices and I highly recommend you try the mustard based one, even if you're a sweet BBQ based person - you won't be sorry!!!! I don't even use the sweet BBQ brown one anymore, it's that good!! The yellow one tastes a bit sweet and a bit tangy - perfect combo. They are now open for dinner so get on over there and get you some good BBQ!! I'll be walking on over very soon!

I passed by this place many times without noticing it. It is kind of tucked back off the road. Went in a few weeks ago with a coworker (his suggestion) to give it a try. I had a sausage sandwich. Food was OK as was the sauce. Sandwich didn't come with any sides. Price was way too high for what you get. Wanted to give this place another try so I did. Ordered a different menu item with the same lackluster results. Overall this place is OK but there are far better places to eat BBQ.

Chopped pork: Good Collard greens: Good Bacon beans: OK Half chicken: AWESOME! Four different sauces, mustard was the best. Friendly staff. Worth visiting if in the area.

I had the sliced brisket platter with sweet potato souflee and macaroni and cheese. The best part of my meal was the sweet potato souflee. It was perfectly seasoned, sweet and yummy. The only thing it lacked was more marshmallows, as it only had about two mini marshmallows on it. The sliced brisket was dry compared to another brisket I have had in the downtown Norcross area. It was nothing special. The macaroni and cheese was okay as well, but overall it was watery. My coworker had the apple cobbler and that was good.

This is darn good Southern cooking. It is hidden is a small strip but it was worth seeking out. I had a platter with chopped pork and sausage. The pork does not come with alot of seasoning so you have to add sauce. The sausage was very good. It was tasty and have flavor. The sides were what made the meal worthwhile. They were fresh and also full of flavor.

Decent BBQ in a great little space. The sausage is amazing and the house made bread is buttery and delicious! Try the mustard sauce for a spin on Carolina BBQ. They have seasonal veggies and great cobblers too!

Best barbecue I've ever had, hands down. Sauce was on point, delicious meats, amazing sides - try the deviled egg potato salad! To top it off, they had Yuengling on draft. Sigh.

For openers, if you believe the only good barbecue is found in the worst part of town, in a place with bars on the windows and just enough grease on the table to write your initials, then this isn't it. And if you believe that the surest way for a homegrown barbecue joint to throw itself under the train is to open a second (much less a third) location - then this isn't it either. What this is, is 'Cue's third location... and while previously a frequent customer to the original too far out Highway 9 in Roswell, we've got to say #3 in the series has replicated not only the look and service, but also the quality of the original. "Cue had its origin when the owners partnered with a high profile Roswell restauarant guy to take over the closed doors Georgia Pig and transform it into a popular Roswell Yuppie hangout renamed The Swallow in the Hollow. Fast forward, the young couple from Iowa moved out and north and started 'Cue and as they say in south Georgia, "They done good." They cook low and slow and serve up world class sliced (a rarity) pork, and excellent chopped pork and chopped brisket. The ribs are babybacks and (red light flashes here) the meat falls off the bone. Usually when the meat falls off the bone that means it was parboiled or baked before being slathered and put on the grill (see Fat Matt's as a for an example). Moist, with just enogh bark (outside char) and fat to give it full flavor, both brisket and pork are truly exceptional. The chicken ( cooked over pecan wood?) is lightly tanned and just plain good. For a guy who has spent a lifetime in pursuit of the perfect barbecue (read 60+ reviews of barbedcue joints across the country), this may not be it, but it's close. The sides should share center stage: hand cut, deep fried French fries are as good as oyu'll find anywhere in Atlanta. They offer two slaws; try their Pittsburgh slaw, a yellow vinegar outing that's not too tart, and truly unique. The beans (with bacon) are good, ditto the mac and cheese, and collardss. In fact, of all the sidfes (you get your choice of two with all platters (roughly $11.95), the Brunswick stew usis the only one that disappoints. An almost katsup like taste and a few slivers of what appeared to be chicken in too much liquid. Four sauces are opn the table: a unique house, a s[picy spinoff of the house, a mustard and a Carolina. All homemade. Each appealing to someone I'm sure. For our table, the house proved the favorite... not too thin and good enough you wanted to soak the Texas toast and eat it as a side dish., The staff at the Peachtree Industrial location, like that far north on Highway 9, is there in good number, meaning prompt service and eager to please. Whoever does 'Cue's hiring does a good job. A little thing, but for the Brown Shoe Gourmet, having my food served on plates -not on trays, not in styrofoam containers, is a big thing. And the "Cue folks put the sides in separate dishes in generous portion. Stuff doesn't run together. Don't you hate it when that happens? Why not five stars? Because ribs were meant to be eaten off the bone, not fall off when you lift them, and Brunswick stew is supposed tto have substance, more meat, less liquid.; it's not supposed to be a soup. 'Cue does a lot of things right and proven that you can expand and sell more barbecue to more folks without losing quality..

I went for lunch and a server comes barreling out of the door, no excuse me or pardon. The bartender noticed it and apologized for him. That was strike one. This place is pretty good, if you are Donald Trump. Otherwise prepare to spend about $20 per person. There are too many other choices in the area to dictate those types of prices. Never Again. The high prices were strike two. The area behind the bar is disorganized, there is storage of vinegar and other things on the back wall. It looks disheveled. Staff was talking to potential employees within earshot at the bar- I didn't want to or need to hear that- do it at a table away from customers. Strike 3.... I would not take friends to this place or recommend anyone spend a dime with this place and I really hope they close down - real soon.

Great BBQ! Clearly they spent a lot of time putting together a unique taste experience and I was the recipient of a delicious dinner! Sausage with sauerkraut and jalapeños, collard greens and slaw! Man-oh-man!! Best BBQ in Georgia (so far)!

My colleague and I ate lunch here. It was a pleasant surprise. We had the wings to start off with. I love the smoky taste. We shared a full rack of ribs and left with a half rack. The fries were a bit salty but the baked beans were great! Our service was excellent!

I was pleased to discover a new bbq joint in the Norcross area, as what little we have here...sucks. I have given this restaurant three opportunities to impress me, and it never happened. Each of the three times, the service was horrible. Once, my party of 4 was placed in a section that was apparently not being waited on. When we relocated to the bar, we were ignored. The wait staff seemed to have no clue of what was going on each time I have eaten there. Only one time was I given an apology by a manager. Growing pains in a new restaurant, I get it. As for the food, it's mediocre at best. While it may be good for the area, that isn't an excuse, especially at the prices they charge. I have tried the pulled pork sandwich, smoked wings, fries, Brunswick stew, and the ribs. The pork sandwich was a bit on the dry side, and the huge sandwich bun that it's on didn't help. I had to cover it in sauce in order to eat it, which is NEVER a good sign. The smoked wings were appalling. The fries were average. The Brunswick stew had a strong ketchup taste to it, and was a bit watery. The ribs were the best thing I've had there. All in all, this is just another addition to the list of average restaurants that exist in this area and I more than likely won't return.

My husband and I stopped in the newer barbecue restaurant. Service was excellent. Everything is home made and it was delicious. We had so much food, we brought half home and we had another meal (not with sides-just the meat) . there is a choice of 4 sauces but most of them have a "kick" for your meat. Brunswick stew had pork and chicken meat. in it. Fries were thick and not too greasy. Many times, collard greens in a restaurant are bitter but these were tasty and perfectly seasoned. My husband ordered the apple cobbler and it came with vanilla bean ice cream and a mountain of whipped cream. It was enough for three people. We will be back.

  • Nikki N.

Service was very nice, but I just don't know... This place does not have that down home southern BBQ taste. I had the brisket sandwich with Mac n cheese and sweet potato casserole. While the sweet potato casserole was really good, the Mac and cheese was really not cheesy and the brisket had to be downed with their very tomato-y BBQ sauce. Their collard greens are made with pork instead of smoked turkey which isn't very friendly toward people who might not eat pork. I don't think I'll be returning.

Service is great. I ordered the ribs with a side of Mac n cheese and beans. It also came with a piece of bread that was just okay. The ribs slid right off the bone, the Mac was addictive and the beans could have had more bacon like they advertised. I thou roughly enjoyed my food. My mom didn't enjoy whatever she had though. We ordered an extra bologna sandwich to go which was pretty good and reminded us if the past a bit. I little different than our usual Bologna sandwich, but still good.

My family came here for a reunion with a party of 20, and everyone was very satisfied with their meal. I had ordered the half-rack of ribs, and I was astounded at how well they were cooked and prepared. The sauces were amazing and the food tasted great. Another thing I liked was the service. The servers were ready anytime you needed something and gave you a lot of attention. One of our relatives didn't get her pizza and it had turned out that the order had been misplaced. When the manager came out to check on us and heard about her pizza, he made sure it was brought to her as fast a possible. This place definitely deserves 5 stars.

Stopped in after my sons practice, place was busy and had a good vibe. Decided to sit at the bar rather than wait for a table. The bartender was friendly and knew the menu very well. Had a rack of baby backs with some mac n cheese and s tomato and cucumber salad. Lots of choices for the sides. Food came quickly and was very good. 4 different types of sauce. Meat was fall off the bone tender. It wasn't the best bbq I've ever had but was very solid in a nice atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

  • Thomas D.

Food was good, didn't taste much smoke in the meats but it was cooked well. Sauce seemed generic but good. Best part of the meal was the deviled egg potato salad, that was great. The bacon BBQ beans were pretty flavorless.

  • Jared A.

Not bad. The food was very fresh but very pricey especially for the area. 13.00 for a pork sandwich, fries and a drink. That is a lot higher than a few other spots that I visit. If you have a big budget I'd highly recommend. Also the wait staff was exceptional. I would give 5 stars if the pricing was better but probably won't be back.

    (4)
  • Estee A.

The two stars are for the sides and the service. I went in and ordered take-out from the bar. Servers were friendly and efficient. I got the combo with brisket and chicken, and collard greens/mac-n-cheese for sides. The greens were a little on the salty side and a hint of spicyness. Very tasty. Mac was rich and creamy, served with a little burnt crust. I loved the sides. However, the chicken was lacking in any smoky flavor and drowning in sauce. The brisket was the biggest disappointment. It was very dry and tasteless. Not even dipping it in sauce could save it.

  • Sweet S.

Love the other locations... but this location is just not as good yet. Hoping the BBQ will improve. Been there three times now and the sides are a solid four stars... However the pork was a 1 the first time 2 the second time. The ribs were flavorless so 1.5 or 2 at the best and brisket was so dry my friend drank 3 glasses of sweet tea, so 1.. :( Hoping they are going to work on meats some more bc we have so enjoyed the other locations and want this one to stay around! Will wait a couple of months before we return and review again with the hopes of a all around 4 star experience.

My first time going here, we ordered to go meals-baby back ribs were good, sweet potatoe casserole was on point, collards were tasty and the beef brisket was good. Reasonably priced for the portions. Friendly staff and reasonable turn around from placing to receiving our food. Definitely going back to dine in next time around!

First thing I want to say is the people that work here we're just awesome. Had lunch with a friend and we decided to split a whole rack of ribs with sides of Brunswick stew french fries cucumbers and tomatoes. The ribs were just ok, they seem to be yesterday's ribs warmed up on the grill. The fries were fine . Here were the two issues I thought the Brunswick stew was about a 1 star side ( in all fairness I have to say I am picky about my Brunswick stew and I don't think many places make it good). We also had a peach cobbler that I thought was very doughy and not very good at all and certainly not worth 650. It was served cold and seem to be several days old yuck. ( I make peach blueberry and apple cobbler at home that is a many stars better than what this tasted like). I felt for the prices charged cue could do a better job and I will give them another chance especially because the employees were so awesome.

Had combo plate for lunch. Chicken was very good, flavorful and moist, the brisket was disappointing tough and dry. Fries and Cue Cole Slaw both were very good. Service was ok.

    (3)
  • Bell W.

I have a few issues with 'Cue. It really expensive. A salad with pork comes close to $15! The fact that the pork only comes chopped or sliced (not pulled) tells you they are not cooking it long enough. I wish they had more actual veggies for sides. Every time I go the "veggie of the day" is some disgusting casserole swimming in grease and/or sugar. The only actual veggie of cukes and tomatoes is horrible, even in season. For some reason they feel the need to have two types of slaw, one of which (Pittsburgh) looks like it was doused in yellow highlighter. The collards are terrible as well. They are way overcooked. Your other sides are healthy things such as potato salad, fries, Mac and cheese, or sweet potato soufflé. The house pickles are also neon yellow and swimming in sugar. So if this is your thing, go for it, but it is not my type of BBQ.

Best BBQ restaurant I've ever eaten at. All the meats - ribs, pork, chicken - are sublime. And fresh vegetables? WHAT? I'll never forget the butternut squash and onions wrapped in foil. My mouth's watering just thinking about it. All the furniture is homemade with a personal touch through every inch of the place. Friendly staff, good for families and great music. All for a great value. Can't wait to eat there again.

I love this place! My family and I have already font 3 times and look forward to going more! My favorite (if I have to pick) would be the chopped chicken, cucumber and tomato salad, Mac-n-cheese, and bourbon sweet potato!!!!! The worst part, for me, is I can't buy a loaf of their freshly made bread. It's so good!!! The atmosphere is great and the staff has always been very helpful. Oh and if you want a great dessert try their Banana Doster it's ridiculous!!

  • Atlanta Food Critic ..

Cue is a casual place like most BBQ places but they have a real shabby chic look to their restaurant. The staff is overwhelmingly nice and our server knew the answer to every question we asked. Although it was crowded with large parties taking in a Friday lunch break from work, we were seated right away and was served some awesome Southern tea right off the rip. I went with my standard Pork Plate and Melanie chose the Smoked Chicken. For sides, we both chose the Brunswick Stew for one side. Melanie chose fries for her other side and I wanted to try the Tomatoes and Cucumbers. The tomatoes and cucumbers are exactly what they say they are, but I would've thought that each would be diced. Instead the tomatoes are simply sliced and the cucumbers are cut into large manageable pieces. Covered generously in balsamic vinaigrette, it actually makes for both a healthy and tasty side. Our meals arrived promptly and the sight was impressive. I had overheard the sauces explained so we opted out of a second explanation. The sauce in any BBQ place plays a major role, one that should compliment the flavor of the meat and not overwhelm it. Kansas City - This is your traditional sweet BBQ sauce and it had a really great rich, bold taste. There was no kick to it whatsoever. South Carolina - Is a mustard-based sauce with just a little kick. This was my favorite for the meal although I did give each one of them a go. North Carolina - Is a vinegar-based brown sauce, very watery but great for dipping forkfuls of meat into. Hot sauce - This is just above a mild or a medium hot sauce and if you want some kick in the Q, this is the one to do it. The Brunswick Stew didn't work for us because it really strayed far off course of what we think of when we think of Brunswick Stew. It was definitely meaty enough but it was pulled pork rather than being ground. There was some corn and a few lima beans, but we felt it was far too light on the veggies for our tastes. Finally, the consistency was more of a soup than what we like in a Brunswick Stew. Everything at Cue Barbecue is homemade and it really shows in the bread and the pickles. Melanie absolutely LOVED the bread. This is where most BBQ places fall short and Cue Barbecue hit it out of the park. The pickles are the bread and butter variety and I loved them and ate every one. These folks take "prep cook" to a whole new level and it pays off. The meat was prepared perfectly. Melanie though her Smoked Chicken needed a stronger smoky flavor and was a tad dry. My pulled pork was awesome and I couldn't believe how much meat they served for a lunch platter. Cue Barbecue served us up a pretty awesome lunch. We're excited about returning for dinner one night and trying the ribs. If you're in the Norcross/Peachtree Corners area, Cue Barbecue is a solid choice for lunch or dinner. The food's great and the fall all over themselves taking care of you. You will NOT be disappointed. Guten appetit! Read our full review: atlanta-food-critic.com/…

Went here for a business lunch. Service was good and restaurant layout was decent, gave me the impression of a BBQ joint trying to be more upscale. Good try... Ordered the following: Wings Combo platter - Sausage, Sliced Brisket, Fried Okra, and Grilled Pineapple The Breakdown: Wings had a good smoke to them and the rub did not overpower the chicken 4x BBQ sauces on the table: Mustard, and three other vinegar based sauces. I have weakness to Mustard based sauces Brisket was okay. Wasn't too dry but could have been juicer. Smoke ring was present but could not taste or smell it. Sausage was a disappointment to me. Dry inside and seasoning was nothing special Fried okra was amazing! Best I have had in some time. They made it with light breading so you got the salty breading note with great okra flavor. Grilled Pineapple was sweet and grill marks made for a nice presentation. Overall decent place. I would rate this place as a 3.25 because of the sausage and brisket. Would come back, but not on my dime.

I wish thta it was a 4 or a 5, but it was as the 3 star designation indicates, A-Okay. The service was nice sitting at the bar. i went with the recommended Brisket and as Paul K. indicated, it was bone dry. A good squirt of the NC style BBQ sauce fixed that up just fine. I did a combo with the housemade sausage which wasn't anything special but was nice. The Pittsburgh style slaw was underwelming but the mayo based one was nice. I was super disappointed to find the house-made pickles were sweet pickles and the house toast was really just a slice of white bread. overal I am still looking for great BBQ and have not found it in the ATL.

"If your reviews are sounding like essays, start a blog. I can't read your life story on my phone before ordering from the menu." [Time & Date of visit]: Weekday night, around 7 pm [Party Size]: 2 [Location/Ambiance]: Location - Located a little north of the busyness of Peachtree Pkwy & Peachtree Industrial Blvd fork. I think if I was still working in this area, I'd appreciate some where there's not so hectic for the lunch rush. Inside- The high ceilings makes it seem more empty when there wasn't much patrons besides a handful of other diners. This place can definitely handle big groups if any offices nearby are curious. The left side has tables for 4, while the right has bigger tables. Both sides also have a long running 1/2 booth along the wall, paired with high chairs Ambiance - Relaxed and casual, but a bit of "empty" just due to the high ceilings I think. Homey kind of vibe with the use of lots of wood decor and furniture. [Service]: I would say our server was attentive, though she did forget a few items that should have came with our order. Though that might be the kitchen's fault for quality control I think. I felt she was honest when we asked what she thought on certain foods and her opinion. [Food Highlights]: First off, I am biased of my bbq. I prefer mine Memphis style first. Then usually just dry rubbed, and sauce on the side if needed, secondary. Please understand that I am reviewing this based on my own personal preference. I believe good BBQ is subjective, just due to all the types of styles of American BBQ. BBQ: Baby Back Ribs (full rack) - Tender, easily falls off the bone. Juicy and generous portions. Though a thicker bbq sauce was brushed on vs the table sauces. I'm not sure why there is a difference, as the sauce taste like it was applied after cooking / plating. I still would recommend, but it might not be for those who prefer their ribs with just a dry rub and no sauce. Smoked pork (chopped) - Slightly disappointed on this visit. My go to combo for most bbq joints, is usually ribs and pulled pork. Even if there's a surcharge. There were good chunks of it portion wise, but it was pretty dry to me. I wasn't really wanting to drown the cuts in bbq sauce this time. Homemade sausage - Though this was for a two meat platter, portions are kind of small to me. Flavor wise, this is one of the better selections. A hint of spicy, just enough to linger. I preferred this over the chopped pork. Sauces - Vinegar Based NC style - (Darkest colored) A little runny. Was ok, but I'm not a fan of vinegar that much. Sweet sauce - More tomato based I think, and slightly thicker. Not really a memphis style. More like a hint of sweetness. Mustard Base - I didn't really try it, I'm not a fan really. Tomato based hot sauce - Very runny. Though I think it's more of a mild. Ask for tabasco sauce if you want more kick. I would ask the server for a ramekin, if you would like to really try the sauces. Sides: Bourbon Sweet Potato Casserole - On the sweeter side I think. Our server did suggest that this could be a dessert almost. I'd have to agree. Now if they decided to make this into a pie, I'd be all over it. Brunswick stew - I had high hopes that this would be awesome. In direct comparison to Heirloom Market's version, which has like a liquid smoke taste throughout each sip; Cue's version would be ok. Just like on their homepage, I would describe the brunswick stew as homemade, and a little heavier leaning on the tomato side. Bacon Beans - Let's just say I didn't really try this myself, beans don't agree with my tummy later. My friend did devour it, if that is any indication how good these are. Deviled Egg Potato Salad - Very creamy textures. Quite different from the southern style I like and accustomed to, but I like it. A mesh of deviled eggs and potato salad, but I didn't taste much mustard. More mayo than anything. Homemade Bread - Ours came toasted and buttered on one side. My friend commented he wished they did both sides. Maybe they could give that as an option? I did like it though, not too heavy on the butter *cough* waffle house *cough* , but a big enough slice to make an open face sandwich if you like. Dessert: Banana Doster - Not a misspelling of banana foster lol. This version comes prepared more like....souplike is the best way I can describe it. The pudding liquified due to the heat of the preparation of other ingredients. Piled high with whip cream filled w/ half pieces of roasted pecans that tasted almost candied. There could have been more slices of banana I think. I'm iffy on this just due to that I was expecting a pudding like texture, instead of runny soup. This is pretty rich. {Summary}: For the area, I think Cue BBQ is a good addition. I think they are good enough to merit another visit or their sister locations. Though I think they are more leaning towards the Carolina styles of BBQ. For now it's 3.5 stars until an update on the next visit.

I love barbecue and been looking for a restaurant that serves yumminess. Not everyone knows how to cook it either. So thanks to Yelp, I was able to find Cue Barbecue and to know it's not far from where I live. It is located off Peachtree Industrial Boulevard and Medlock Bridge Road. It's fairly new too. You can see the barbecue grills outside. There is plenty of parking. The parking lot was empty when I got there around 4:45 pm on a Friday night. I almost thought they were closed but they weren't. Since I arrived early, I just got seated and waited for my friend. Inside is roomy. There is a bar in the middle and separates two rooms with flat screen tv's. When my friend arrived, we both ordered the same thing. Same taste hehe. We got the sliced pork with bacon baked beans and fries. Our waiter is really good and sweet. He was attentive and came back to check on us a couple of times, threw in some jokes, and made us feel welcome. There are 4 sauces at the table and he explained each of them to us. For me, I don't want barbecue to be yummy, simply just by the sauces. I want the smokiness and the flavors to sink in the meats. At Cue Barbecue, I felt it was missing that. Don't get me wrong, I still love it but would prefer the meats to be more flavorful and full of smokiness from the grill. The baked beans are so freaking yummy good. I would order that only. The bread is really soft and flavorful. The fries were good, a little too salty for my taste. Overall, had a wonderful time. I never felt rushed to leave. Even after my friend and I finished our meals, we stayed and talked for 3 hours! I would definitely go back and try the chicken and other dishes but that baked beans and bread got me! UPDATE I went back several times with the famly and they love it! I like the shredded chicken more than the pork. Hubby thinks they have the best sweet tea he's ever had. I am in love with their fried okra too. We always had wonderful service!
