This place is such a big part of my childhood! I've had good and bad experiences the many times I've gone, but the good far outweighs the bad! I will always go back. The fajita quesadilla is great!

Just off Jackson ST next to Newnan Computer is this little sort of "hole in the wall" type mexican place. The outside doesn't look like much, but they've done a great job on the atmosphere inside. Food is good, no complaints. Service is good, prices are good. It's your usual mexican joint like you see scattered all over the place. Chips n salsa, Combo #1-15, tacos, beans, rice that sorta thing. If you're in Newnan, and you want mexican, go here. You won't leave disappointed. The ONLY THING that strikes me about this place is that they close between lunch and dinner. I suppose it's on the sign but they don't always lock the door. So you may find yourself standing in the front with no one to help until you realize wat time it is. Last time I came in around 3 or so they looked at me funny and a guy texting on his phone was like "sorry guy, we're closed." I was a bit disappointed, cos I had my mouth all set, but that's ok. Lots of good to choose from within walking distance that DOESN'T close between lunch and dinner.

Good margarita specials on certain days. I ordered fish tacos which were good but not great with chunks of fish not a larger piece which I prefer and they were a little bland. We liked the chips and salsa. La Fiesta is a good basic Mexican place right off the Court Square. It's been tried and true for over 25 years, which says a lot in the restaurant business.

The food was amazing!!!! Everyone was nice. The server was attentive but not annoying even for cinco de mayo! I cannot get over how good it was and it was so cheap! Honestly, it's some of the best Mexican food I've ever had and I'm from California... Think about that lol

Yea the food is good, and it is in the ideal part of town, so hook it up if you're down for some mex. Very reasonable prices, and they will toss on the game if you want, which is key. Staff did a great job, absolutely first class. Make it happen.

This place has fast service, reasonably priced beer and typical Mexican food. It's on the inexpensive side so it's probably a good bargain. If you're looking for a trendy place to go, this isn't it but if you're looking for pretty good food at a good price, try it out.

Fairly decent food, not great, good steak burritos, but definitely not the best on the planet, I don't know what planet the previous reviewer came from but maybe he needs to go back

The last reviewer is on many drugs. This place was mediocre in every way. Food was very bland. Maybe slightly above average for Newnan food, but that isn't saying much.

Maybe the best mexican food in the universe. You would have to be a damn idiot to not try the cheese dip or the enchillada style burrito. I would give my right arm for some right now. If you are in the state of Georgia, run don't walk to this amazing establishment. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Now stop reading and go!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
