I've never had anything but good experiences at this establishment. First off, the price is not bad for the amount of food they have.You have to understand, if you're not from around here, or anywhere in the south, you won't like this food. I love this little place, their food is hardy, country, soul food. From fried chicken livers to BBQ ribs, and my personal favorite, rutabaggas. I eat there when I get a chance. So, if you like it country, eat at Charlie's...other wise...keep slidin'..;).

Not the cleanest place. The salad dressing was watered down and the imitation bacon bits are the worst. The hot food bar had a lot of unidentifiable over fried meats. The kicker for us was the giant chafing dish of Cheetohs on the dessert bar......

I've tried this place twice and was not impressed. The food quality is sub par but more importantly is is not very clean. The second time I ate there, and the last, the place was full of flies because management was too cheap to turn on the air conditioning and had the doors open. Flies were all over the buffet and continued to bother us at our booth. Shortly after we arrived, they broke down the buffet and we were told they were closing so we had to leave. I don't feel safe eating at this establishment.

If I could rate it less I would. Got shut down by health department because of having out of date food. Not a place that I would recommend going to even if they open back up. Food safety starts at the top so unless It gets new owners don't expect a change!!!!!

This place has nothing to recommend it. The food is terrible ( all buffet) much of it is cold and appears to have been on the steam table for hours. Cleanliness appears to be a problem. Avoid at all costs!

This place is awful, run don't walk as far away as possible. I wished we had looked at the buffet before we shelled out $24 bucks for 3 people. The food had been sitting out for so long that skins had formed on the top of everything on both the hot and cold table. The mashed potatoes were gray. The corn obviously came straight from a can and even had a metallic taste to it. The fried chicken was dry and the crust on it was hard as a rock and this from a person who likes extra crispy fried chicken. The desserts consisted of fig newtons, sandwich cookies and other prepackaged cookies. They had a sign that said ice cream, but there was no ice cream. We went down the street to Huddle House to eat after we left because we were starving and afraid to eat most of what was on the buffet. If I could give it zero stars I would.
