Health code rating, 100.... First and foremost! :) Secondly, food was fresh, hot and delicious! I grew up on white castle, so you know I had to ask for "no mustard;" but at the end of the day, Krystal's buns are so much better! They don't fall to pieces, and are so soft and squishy! Cashier/Drive Thru service was quick, efficient and kind. They were slammed today, but still hustled to get everyone tended to quickly.... I think I may have spent a total of 4 minutes in the drive-thru from when I pulled into the parking lot, to when I received my food; and that was with the line being all the way around the building! I think this will be a weekly visit for me, great product, fast service, can't beat that!!!!

Being a Yankee, I've often heard the great debate of which is better: White Castle or Krystal? Honestly, they're both rubbish. This location has a good manager but an awful support staff. Some how, she needs to figure out how to better train them, motivate them or both. The cashier was just lost. She fell behind on just about every one of her assigned tasks and the place just ground to a halt because of it. Perhaps it's the nature of the fast food business but this location is just a fail. As for the food, it's what you expect so best keep expectations low. You have to order a double or triple burger to even out the bun to meat ratio.

First time I was here.. I ordered 2 chicken sandwiches w/ cheese. 2 krystals w/ cheese & a small fry. I go & sit down & they bring me my food, something they dont do in Brooklyn... Krystals were yummy, got a large fry instead & no cheese on my chicken. I go back up & told the cashier. He told me he will make 2 new ones. I try giving him the ones I have & he told me to keep them...

No. Just no, unless you want to get in a fight with a drive thru cashier, then by all means. You cant even order without being interrupted, and they are always rude and confused. Sometimes the food is OK, which is why in desperation I will still go here occasionally. I just love the Krystal Chicks!

I love Krystal. It's great they're open 24/7. The food is just fine at this location but it appears that they are always out of something. I visited them about a year ago when they had just started some kind of special. They had 3 new kinds of burgers. I asked for each one in turn and was told they were out. Then I said okay, how about a spicy chick. Nope, out of that too. I ended up going with the regular krystals. Then I made yet another mistake by asking for a Coke. It was stupid, I know. I shouldn't ask for something so obscure. Of course, they were out! Needless to say, I didn't go back for about a year. Now, I work nights so I eat between Midnight and 5:00 am on a very regular basis. Recently I have been trying to mix it up between what few options I have and I have reincorporated Krystal into my choices. I also see that things have not changed or if they have it has been very little. In my past half a dozen visits over the last 3 or 4 weeks I have experienced much of the same. The new "crunch" burger with the onion rings on it? Out! They haven't had it for any of my visits and one visit they were out of pups. Like I said, the food is fine... when they have it. I guess they're okay if you want one of the mainstays but don't think you're going to go here and try a new menu item or get something unconventional unless you know yourself to be one of those lucky individuals.

I'm not a fan of Krystal to begin with, but that's irrelevant for the purposes of this review. If the food is properly prepared and isn't noticeably out of date, I can eat it. If the service is at least inoffensive and reasonably responsive given the amount of business it's doing when I order, I can deal with it. This restaurant failed on every count. I went through the drive-in at this establishment on 3/8/11 at about 11:00am. I could see there were a few customers inside, but it didn't appear that the lunch rush had started in earnest yet. I pulled up to the window and was greeted by an unusually loud speaker. Oh well, it's near the highway. Sure, they're pushing a combo meal, but everyone seems to do that now (even though I hate that). I started to order my daughter's meal, but was interrupted by the window attendant. Twice. I finally got her order and mine placed, after some volume-and-interruption-induced communication difficulties, and drove around to the window, already somewhat annoyed. At the window, I was told that my meal - a #10 (Angus burger) combo - was being made to order and that I would have to have to wait a few minutes. That's ok by me; heat-lamp burgers aren't the greatest. My daughter's food arrived and we waited for mine. I sampled one of her french fries while we waited. Gack. No salt, and enough oil to drive to Macon. I asked the window cashier for some ketchup and salt. She obliged, but not without referring to me as "hun" and "sugar." This doesn't bother some people, but it bothers me when it comes from someone I don't know who has already annoyed me. My food finally arrived and we pulled forward so that I could place my food in my lap to eat as I drove. The first thing I noticed was that someone had piled what appeared to be a full cup of onions on the burger. That's great if you like onions. As it happens, I detest them and normally pick them off. Worse still, the onions had been wet when placed on the bun and had soaked the inside of the bun with onion juice. Blech. The next thing I noticed was that my "made to order" burger had been cooked to the consistency of a boot heel and was in three, count 'em, three pieces. WTF? I reassembled the burger and drove off, taking my first bite. I had to physically tear at the bun with my teeth because, in accordance with the quality of the rest of the food, it was staler than High School Musical and and even less appealing. Stale bread, hockey puck burger and that nasty onion slop. After the third bite, the burger was out the window. After about fifteen of the diesel-bathed fries, those were out, too. Normally I don't consider that littering since food is biodegradable, but I'm honestly not sure whether that stuff was. I guess if I was that window cashier, I'd be doing whatever I could to ingratiate myself, too, assuming I hadn't already perished from sheer embarrassment and shame. This Krystal sucks. Don't go there.
