What's left to say? Consistently great food, generous portions, and good service all at reasonable prices. Most of the time I end up with enough left over to have for lunch the next day. Great value. WCD isn't all full of themselves like the expensive farm-to-table or wings-and-overpriced-beer places we drive by on the way there from East Cobb. Add in their very enjoyable patio and reasonably priced beers/wines and WCD is a real winner, one of my favorite places to dine out. I just wish I lived closer.

Always good! More food than I can eat, take home container please. Love the meatloaf and fish tacos. Friendly atmosphere, good prices

I had a fun and interesting Italian chopped salad with a big sun-dried tomato flavor, but the veggie plate really shined! Perfectly cooked and favored collard greens and beans. The menu was interesting and I look forward to returning so I can try more dishes....

Visited WCD again last night 8/8/14. My family has eaten here many times, and we've never been disappointed. I now have a new favorite burger. Pimento Burger. I. have. no. words. Brisket burger, caramelized onions, honey bacon slaw, fried green tomatoes, and an overflowing mound of melting pimento cheese. I ordered mine cooked medium. It was unbelievably, incredibly good! My buddy cannot eat wheat gluten, so he ordered his with a gluten free bun. Very cool they could accommodate him. Only gave 4 stars due to the 1 hr 15 min. (6:20 - 7:35pm) wait for our party of 10 to be seated. I did check with the hostess after a while to make sure we weren't missed, she assured me she hadn't forgotten us. I don't mind waiting awhile when a place is busy but I watched at least 2 other large parties get seated before us, who had arrived after we did. The hostess could have easily pulled an extra table up to one of the larger table settings in order to avoid our prolonged wait. The hostess may have been a bit inattentive, but the servers and food were off the charts! The chefs and wait staff deserve huge accolades! We will definitely be back soon.

First visit was good. Its kind of bar/ resturant. I had the pork chops that were very good.

Everything on the menu looks and sounds really good. Until you taste it. Just bland and lacking. I got the blackened mahi mahi fish tacos. There wasn't a hint of lime or cilantro anywhere, which, come on, are pretty commonplace ingredients in fish tacos! It just tasted like fish with shredded cabbage. I couldn't even tell that there was any cheese in them. The fried green tomatoes were crispy and greasy, but really tough to cut into and chew, like they'd been under a heat lamp for some time. The shrimp remoulade tasted like it came out of a can. And again, it was all just very bland. I know that this place has a really high senior citizen crowd, so I'm betting that has something to do with it. Service was good though, so 3 stars.

I heard about West Cobb Diner from a co-worker who recommended the veggie plate. I wasn't interested in a meal without meat, so I wasn't initially open to trying it. After about a year, I finally decided to try it. I was overwhelmed by the selection of "veggies". There were so many "veggies" to choose from. I decided on the cabbage, red beans & rice, macaroni & cheese, & tomato pie. EVERYTHING was delicious! The southern cuisine was just what I've been looking for. Within a week I was back for more twice. It was well worth the $7 I paid for a plate full of delicious food!

Fried Chicken Livers, butter beans, collard greens, tomato pie, green beans, & Squash and onions....need I say more .... Cooked the correct way, Southern Style. Always a good meal. If was crowded and we ate at the bar. Bartender was polite and very helpful. We should eat here more often!

So...West Cobb Diner. Still trying to figure out where the diner part comes into play because as other reviewers have stated its really not a diner. First thing there's no breakfast. But who cares the food they do serve is great! The GF and I went today for brunch. The wait time was long, which we expected due to the after church crowd. If you aren't hungry on a Sunday wait til 2pm to arrive. We opted to be seated outside to speed up the eating process. Nice October day with it being not to cold, nor to hot...smack dab in the middle of just right. I instantly gravitated towards the shrimp and grits and the GF went here and there mainly because she wanted an entree that included the sides..lol The sides menu was typical southern fare i.e. greens, mac & cheese, butter beans etc etc The Fried shrimp and grits with Bacon-Cracked Pepper Gravy & Roasted Corn Salsa was good, hate to say the grits were probably the least liked part of the dish. No seasoning at all. The salsa was great, more tomato than corn. Shrimp were fried which was a nice twist to the dish. The GF ended up with the Thyme-Black Pepper Fried Boneless Chicken with Green Tomato Chutney, her side choices were mac & cheese and corn casserole. Chicken was great, chutney to sweet she says. I didn't bother tasting it..looked odd. Mac and cheese needed salt but the corn casserole was delicious! Service was...spotty and that's being nice. Overhead one waitress say to another why is everyone so mad today? So yea, slightly overwhelmed and over worked was my impression. Clean up needed to be done a little bit more as well.

First time eating here. We were very surprised how good the food is. It's large portions so I got to take some home. Make sure you get dessert also even if you have to take it home.

Great southern cooking. A little hard to fin fits stuck in a shopping center with not very clear signage. It's worth the search.

This place was excellent! My husband and I went on a Friday evening around 8:30. Since it was later there wasn't a wait and we were seated right away. We each ordered a burger. I had the smoked gouda burger with sweet potato fries and a side of mac and cheese and my hubby had the WCB #2 with regular fries. We both loved it! They were both gigantic and delicious! The mac and cheese was so cheesy and yummy. Everything on the menu sounded good, so we will definitely be returning to try something different.

This place is always dang good. The food is fresh. The prices are reasonable. The wait staff is attentive and well trained. It is on my favorites list. You should try it!!!

OMG! HOLY CRAP! A MUST EAT!! My boyfriend and I got fried pickles and Smoked Gouda Burgers. They are HUGE portions. The presentation was well executed. Everything looked cleaned and nice. On top of everything tasting absolutely amazing, the price was just right!! $4 for the biggest portion of fried pickles I have ever order and the burger was unusally big too, with a side of fries! NOM!!

Finally tried the turkey dinner and I see what all the rave reviews are about! It was overly filling and delicious. In addition to the stuffing I was able to choose 2 sides, sweet potato mashed and collard greens. Delicious! Between that, the corn muffin, and the banana pudding my son and I shared, I was about comatose when I arrived home. 5 stars again!

Been here a few times and every time is better and better. Each time dining there was a small wait, but it was very well worth it. Even if there had been a longer wait, it is still worth it. Usually crowded, but I look at that as a good sign, to me that usually means it is good. Give this place a try!

The schtick at West Cobb Diner is to be a local comfort food that's a better alternative than a meet-and-three. It succeeds at that, and you can tell that whoever's in charge of the food is trying hard. But it's easy to tell that ambition overpowered talent. Lots of promising words on the menu: chutney, creme fraiche, jicama... with amateur results. Don't get me wrong, the food is decent enough and pleasantly inexpensive, it's just flawed. The exact same menu with great attention to detail would make a big difference. It keeps its third star only because West Cobb is a food desert. Some highlights: The good: The turkey + arugula + brie sandwich is very nice, the thyme and black pepper fried chicken breast is solid, the sweet potato fries are a welcome addition. The bad: their gruyere burger... sloppy, unbalanced, overly greasy and difficult to eat. The appetizers are uniformly mediocre. The diner dip promises shaved rare ribeye, but what you get is well-done on dry bread.

I've eaten here for lunch 3 or 4 times now. Yesterday was especially good because I ordered the Diner Dip with sweet potato fries. The meat had a great taste to it on its own, and the au jus was just icing on the cake; plus the meal was only $8. I also appreciate sweet potato fries. The jury's out on whether they're healthier than regular fries or not, but I do enjoy the extra sweetness. I will definitely be back for another one of these sandwiches! P.S. Both my girlfriend and I have had the Reuben. It's very good, too. They pile the meat on, so it is large; but it, too, is reasonably priced. Thank you, West Cobb Diner

Excellent food with a nice variety to the menu. I had the fried Shrimp with cheese grits while my wife had the chicken fried chicken (yes, there is a distinct southern flair to the menu!) and both were delicious... Prices are reasonable and service was friendly, definitely will eat here again and again!

We love this place! When my family comes in from out of town, this is one place that we have to go two, at least twice! Never have had a bad meal from here and we have been going since the place opened at least several times a month - even more when the family is in! Love the staff, the owner and the food! Corn casserole is a must have and my daughter loves the broccoli casserole! French dip is great. I like to try the specials and have never been disappointed. Lots of food for you $$ always go home with a leftovers! The tomato soup is yummy - great flavor! If you want a good burger, this is the place to get it! Can't wait for my next visit!

The term 'diner' is a misnomer in this case. WCD is not your typical diner fare; this is southern comfort food with a slightly modern twist. Our party of six, including two kids, waited about 15 minutes to be seated on a Friday night. After reading the other reviews, I kind of expected a wait. We started with orders of Fried Pickles and Fried Green Tomatoes. The pickles were excellent, but the tomatoes just didn't hit the spot. They were thin and maybe a little too ripe to be green tomatoes; they were missing that twang of green tomatoes. Our entrees consisted of the fried chicken, country fried steak, and turkey and dressing. The turkey and dressing was very good, with delicious homemade cranberry sauce - none of that jelly stuff from a can! Hubs commented that his country fried steak was a little too bready and garlicky for his liking, but the steak itself was tender. I think the real standouts here are the sides - everything was delicious! They have 10-12 different sides to choose from and I don't think you can go wrong. Next time, I'm trying one of the scrumptious looking pieces of cake in the dessert display case!

It's good. It's a good value. You can tell by the older crowd. Better than Gabriel's in quality and price. Turkey dinner is probably their best although the chicken can be good as well. Meatloaf isn't bad. Sometimes their specials are good and a little different from the meat and three fare. Don't bother with the mashed potatoes, they kinda taste like paste. Too bad! Waitresses always look hectic. Hostess is never the same and never happy. Seems the back of house is a bit chaotic. Service can be really spotty. They probably need to bring in someone who can/has managed a restaurant before to get some processes in place. The atmosphere is very sterile - used to be an Atlanta Bread Company and still has all the same furnishings. It gets very loud! My suggestions: make the wait staff dress more professionally-black pants, black shirt with restaurant logo. Get a professional to run the kitchen. Notch up the sides (quality, not quantity) and you can increase your prices 10-20% and have some of the younger suburbanite folks enjoy your establishment as well.

Great food, great service, great value...what else can you ask for? We found this hidden gem a few weeks back and will definitely add it to our rotation. Sought this out after Yelping for a turkey dinner and it didn't disappoint one bit.

Alright! Marietta has very few choices when it comes to restaurants that are not chains, so I'm glad West Cobb Diner can hold their own and produce a good product. From the salads to sandwiches, West Cobb Diner consistently delivers an awesome, wholesome meal. I enjoyed the special "Rib Eye Sandwich" and my dad fell in love with his "Lamb Burger." On a side note, I ordered some fried oysters a while back, which were amazing. West Cobb Diner defiantly adds some flavor to Marietta.

I went with my hubby on a Friday nite. The wait was long but as expected from reading yelp reviews. They serve good Southern foods. The waiters are friendly and their prices are less expensive than Marietta Fish Market.

Working man/woman and retiree's restaurant features proven southern comfort food, huge portions, and friendly service. Liked the turkey dinner with its thick white gravy and stuffing. Side dishes mashed potatoes and stewed ocra/tomatoes are tasty. Yes to fried pickles appetizer. No to shrimp and grits (shrimp fried and sauce too thick).

Thank God for West Cobb Diner. It is our family's go to place when we need a good place to eat. We love the food there and their sides are amazing. It is a great place to take the kids. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The she crab soup and fish tacos are my favorite. They always have great specials to change things up. Overall it is a great value for the food. We always take friends who come to visit to West Cobb diner and it has never failed to leave a good impression. I wish they would serve breakfast again then it would be perfect.

I love the food here! I've been three times in the past few months and each time I've tried something new and delicious. I've had the Shrimp Salad with Mango salsa. 5 Stars! The Turkey and Brie Sandwich, 4 stars... a little too much brie. And today I had the Mahi Mahi fish tacos... 4 stars because there could have been more Mahi Mahi. I did notice that the Staff is a little on the slow side. The waitress today walked by my table 4 times before noticing that I already had my card sitting there, ready to pay. Another reviewer mentioned that the cooks do not wear hair ties and some have dreadlocks... this is true and I was hoping I wouldn't find a hair... So far I haven't. This does need to be addressed though!!! Please, a cap on the top of the hair doesn't keep the ends of it away--only the top. My waitress was less than enthusiastic about taking my order, but she did, without mistake, and my food arrived very quickly. I didn't wait long at all. Service could be friendlier. Cleanliness can be improved. But recipes/menu options are awesome.

It doesn't get any better. Meat loaf, mac, & green beans is off the chart. Everything homemade. Love the tomato pie. Needs to be on the Triple D show with Chef Guy

The atmosphere was nothing spectacular, chair or booth seating... Either the floor or table was uneven causing the table to be wobbly. The group of 5 was seated with two tables, one of which was about 3 inches lower. Service was average, food good, not exceptional. Prices reasonable. They do have many items to pick from, I may return.

I love the West Cobb Diner. Genenrally, I do not like comfort of southern food....but I have not eaten anything at West Cobb Diner that didn't make me go mmmmmmmmmmmmmm. We have started taking all of our out of town guests here....and we always leave happy, with rave reviews all the way home. My mom went once on a recent visit and wanted to go back to try other items on the menu! The fried chicken is the BEST friend chicken I have ever had anywhere in my life. I LOVE IT. The turkey dinner is amazing. The side dishes are great too and the 2 page list will blow your mind -- so hard to choose! Like another review, the no frills renovation from Atlanta Bread does leave something to be desired and is why WCD doesn't get 5 stars from me. The place needs some carpets, or acoustical tiles, or something to absord the sound and vibrations. It is VERY loud when it is full (which is most of the time). My father, who is hard of hearing, like to go there because he loves the food, and just accepts the fact that he basically cannot enter in conversation while we are there due to the sound. One of the things I like best, is the kids meals. My kids tend to get chicken fingers, but unlike many other places, you can tell these are real pieces of real chicken battered and fried. Oh! Well priced. Affordable, excellent food.

Great atmosphere & good food. My mom ordered the flounder poor boy with a cup of clam chowder soup. The soup was thick & tasty with a smokey bacon flavor - comforting on the rainy Saturday afternoon we were there. The poor boy was huge & came with lettuce & a very good tarter sauce (tasted freshly made) already on it & extra tarter sauce on the side. I had the Chicken Fried Steak w/ corn casserole, mashed potatoes & gravy. (I couldn't control myself - I ordered a side of the blue cheese coleslaw & so glad i did.) The CFS was probably the best I've ever had. The CFS was moist, tender & most importantly it wasn't over spiced! It's wasn't overly salty nor was it overly peppery - it was the ultimate comfort food with warm, savory (ummm, nicely cooked sweet onions) flavors - the crust was crispy - didn't stick to the meat overly well - but I enjoyed scooping it up on my fork. The other surprise star of our meal was the blue cheese coleslaw - fresh & creamy w/out the blue cheese being overpowering - subtle, but there - very nice - I'd go back again in a heartbeat just for more of that - really yummy. I didn't care for the corn casserole - it was spicy - which is not my thing. I mean it didn't burn my tongue off, but I'm a wimp when it comes to fiery food. The only reason I didn't give the place 5 stars was because the menus the hostess gave us could have been cleaner - a lot cleaner - & that's a little distressing @ the beginning of a meal in a restaurant one is in for the first time. Also, the unsweetened tea was really weak - I mentioned this to our server when she brought me a 2nd glass - I drank the first glass thinking that perhaps the first glass hadn't had time to brew - but the second glass seemed even weaker. The waitress kindly offered to exchange it for a different drink but we were almost finished w/ our meal & I wasn't thirsty anymore - it was like drinking water - so I was good. I am definitely going back there again - it's got a great friendly atmosphere & I want to find out what "tomato pie" is firsthand.

I really like this place! I'm glad to be finding some decent places to eat out in Marietta area. The beer selection is great and there is a huge variety of southern comfort food. The interior seems to be very new and modern looking- especially the bar and take-out area. I ordered the mahi mahi tacos (one grilled, one fried) which was the special for the night. They were phenomenal. I got a shocktop to drink as it was only $2.75! My boyfriend got the grouper sandwich and a laughing skull beer. He was very pleasantly surprised. Don't know why we both decided to order fish at a DINER hundreds of miles from the ocean but it was actually delicious! I will definitely be back to try some of the main entrees and other tasty sides (which they have MANY of: black eyed peas, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, fried okra etc.) Most importantly- the price is right.

Finally made it to WCD for breakfast...trouble was making up my mind...sweet...savory...sweet...savory...i hate making decisions!! My carnivorous side finally won out and I decided to clog my arteries with the meat lovers omelet. For $7 It said you got an omelet with sausage, ham, bacon, and cheese...along with cheese grits and your choice of bread. You can substitute a fruit plate for the grits. I was expecting a lot of egg and a little meat for $7. Wrong!!! For starters...this omelet could have fed a linebacker...it was huge and had so much meat that it had spilled out of the omelet onto the plate...well flavored sausage, chunks of ham and nice smoky bacon. Only had cheese on top, which was a little disappointing to me...only'cause I love cheese. Egg was perfectly cooked. Got a huge biscuit which was nice and flaky, but absolutely cold...which was really disappointing. Served with butter and apple butter, which was good (even if it was in one of those little square individual packs by smuckers). I love apple butter and have never been given it in a restaurant before. Fresh would have been even better tho! I could only eat half the omelet because of its size...but I sure wanted to eat until my eyes glazed over. However, I saved the best for last...I am picky about grits and rarely order them out...but figured what the hell...their shrimp and grits are good. Anyway...I dont want those pale, thin, watery, pasty-white, flavorless glop that they pass off for grits in most restaurants (even supposedly Southern restaurants). You know the kind... The grits that no amount of doctoring can save and that explain why people who have only experienced "those" grits cant understand why southerners love "real" grits. Grits should be thick (NOT to be confused with lumpy), they should have texture, they should have a definite hint of corn flavor, they should take a half hour to cook...they should stand alone and just be IMPROVED with butter, salt, and cheese...not require them. These grits delivered...they were perfect and I could have eaten a vat of them and died happy. My grandma would have been proud!! Now on to the next table (ok, I was shamelessly eavesdropping). They went for sweet...one ordered the sweet potato pancakes and the other ordered the French toast...I smelled it coming before I saw it...smelled amazing. They got enough to feed the rest of the football team. Judging by the fact that they said little but kept making embarrassing "yummy" noises (and this was a very conservative looking older couple)...I will definitely have to go sweet next time!!

The mahi taco's are awesome! Huge portions of fish in a soft tortilla - I prefer mine blackened, but they offer fried or baked selections as well. Paired my entree with a side of blue cheese Cole slaw which was very good. The wife & I left very satisfied for $40 including tip. I had 2 draft beers, so if you stick with other drink options, you will come out cheaper. Great little place - will definitely make another trip there!

This place continues to lack impressiveness or even just acceptable-ness. I've been back several times only because other people are going. Each time I clear my pre-conceptions, open my mind, and prepare myself for a new day, a new and hopefully better experience. And each time, I am reminded why I should never eat here again. The food isn't bad. But the service is like the Titanic. A massively sinking ship with no hope of improvement.

A recent transplant to the Atlanta area, WCD has quickly become an easy go-to spot for me and the hubby. This place never fails to scratch my home-cooking itch with stick to your ribs classics like meat loaf, turkey dinner, fish and chips, pork chops, and of course, fried chicken, shrimp and grits and mac & cheese. They do mama's cooking right, while adding a zing of their own (blueberry sauce with pork chops, cranberry compote with turkey, jalapeno hush puppies with fish & chips...). This place isn't going to set the Atlanta dining scene on fire, especially with its OTP location, but for us suburbanites, it's a great place to go for a weekday supper when the thought of cooking at home makes you want to scratch your eyes out. Go to enjoy it's yummy simplicity, and you won't be disappointed.

Great place. Wonderful management. If you ever have an issue, ask for Loren. She'll make it right. Great food and service. Food has a southern flare. If you like your vegetables cooked with a southern seasoning, you'll love this place! Also, wonderful outdoor seating!!!

I had lunch at this restaurant yesterday. I had the chicken vegetable soup and half club sandwich. The food was delicious, the service was excellant and the overall experience was outstanding. I can't wait to go back for dinner. There are getting to be fewer and fewer restarants that serve meat and vegetables-this one is top-notch.

Nice place. The food was good. Fresh vegetable and comfort foods filled a very ample menu. As a previous reviewer stated, the floor chart was a tad confused, but the friendly staff worked their butts off to make it flow as well as they could. We walked in w/ a 10 top at the end of the lunch rush, and the staff was unphased. They worked as a team and provided excellent, friendly service. The servings were quite generous and well worth the price. I'll gladly return when I'm in the area.

Excellent southern food, good service, and good value. Look for their specials - the pimento cheese burger is off the hook!! Run by a husband and wife team serving some very inspired dishes. We are blessed to have them in the neighborhood.

The food is always good at the West Cobb Diner which is not really a diner but who cares...You can't cook a meal this good for what they charge you.The turkey dinner is fabulous...We split it and then get the veggie plate which is 4 sides...and we have enough to take some home...you get that much food!! The owner always comes by to make sure your happy and it's nice to see a women running such a successful business in town. The food never disappoints....I would like to see them in the future add a breakfast menu because I know it would be wonderful....Highly recommend this out of the way eatery...for the price and the good food...

We visited West Cobb Diner for our first time while my in-laws were in town. We all ordered something different. The portions were huge! I had the shrimp and grits. It was good, but a little too heavy. My husband had the turkey dinner with broccoli casserole. It was delicious! The prices were great for the amount of food you receive. We are definitely going back.

I am reviewing this place after having eaten there 5 or 6 times with declining experiences. Had I reviewed it after I first ate there in the winter of 2010, I would probably have given it 4stars. First of all let me say, the food is pretty good and they give you huge portions. The only thing I don't recommend is the burger, because they simply don't know how to cook it. My husband orderd a med well on back to back visits and the first one was bloody and the second one was incinerated. He also said there were pockets of salt throughout both times. That being said, I really hope the owner of this restaurant reads this review. I have never seen an adult (over say 25) in this place and it shows in the service. Several times we have had to stand at the hostess stand far too long before being greeted because the hostess' are also busboys and drink getters. Sometimes you have to wait not because of diners at the the tables but because all the empty tables are dirty. So today, after a wait of about 15 minutes we were sat at the first table just inside the door (not an ideal spot, but we werren't being picky on such a busy day.) The hostess came and took our drink order and returned with the drinks, then it was another 5-10 minutes before our server showed up to introduce herself. The two tables that had been sat after us had their food already. We ordered and waited as the others tables left while we were still waiting on food. The food fianlly arrived and was fine except for the salty, incinerated burger. Except one BIG problem, the waitress said, "oh no, another table w/ no silverware"!! She didn't mean none on our table, she meant NONE clean in the whole restaurant! We waited looking at our food for about 5 minutes and she returned with forks only. (I'm scared to ask how they were washed....) My husband needed a knife to cut his burger, so more waiting. After we ate and were again waiting; on the check, we took the time to really look around at the staff. There is one young man who seems to be the manager/bartender and all the rest are young women. The kitchen staff doesn't have to wear hairnets or anyhting and there is one cook w/ dreadlocks and another w/ a beard. I think this place is in need of some hands - on adult leadership. I don't know who the owners are, but they had better wake up and step up before all these kids run their place into the ground.

This has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in Marietta. I have dined here about 12 times and really enjoyed every meal. Only once or twice has the service been a little slow. The vegetables, burgers, salads, and entrees are all just very nicely done. Great Southern food with a nice contemporary twist. When I'm not dieting, their pecan crusted pork chops with blueberry chutney is just amazing. Great food, affordable, and mostly great service. This place is a bright star in an otherwise mediocre food town.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Their prices were considerably lower than expected. The wait staff was courteous and attentive. I'll definitely be coming back.

We sat and waited on our to-go order. One of the convict looking cooks in the back was not wearing gloves and was dishing out lettuce to the salad plates. He constantly rubbed his face, eyes, mouth etc. Texted on his cell phone and went back to preparing salads. Once he realized he was being watch, he put on the gloves. We looked around to see what their food score was but oddly, couldn't find it posted anywhere. HMMMM!

I don't get the very few negative reviews about this place. I read them before I went and was cautious. Of course there are plenty of POSITIVE reviews. BUT, I found EVERYONE to be extremely nice and accommodating. The food is delicious. It's a busy diner with a bar. They have wonderful vegetables, which a lot of places have gotten away from real vegetables. The only downside is they put pork in almost all of the beans. I wish people in Atlanta could find something besides pork to season their vegetables. Their desserts are homemade and delicious and NOT over-priced. The entrees were $8 to 12ish in price range. I have to give it 5 stars.

Great food and service. Pretty consistent too. Daily specials are great. Service is average to good. I love the baked Brie app and the house Chardonnay. Great for lunch or dinner, but get there early for lunch as the parking and wait can be a bit much for me.

After waiting over 40 minutes for a table when we were told it would be 20, we then waited an additional 10 before a waitress even came to take our drink orders. The manager brought the appetizer out and was very rude to us when we complained about the service thus far. The appetizer, fried pickles were a very odd temperature. Most of the pickles were cold while a few were hot. The manager compensated for the wait by bringing us our food very quickly. The main meals of shrimp and grits and a shrimp po boy were mediocre at best. After all was said and done, we barely got an apology much less anything compensated on our meal. If this place lasts through 2010, I will be surprised!

I ate here one night this week and West Cobb Diner is a really interesting place. The food was good, the prices are wonderful ($7-$13 for almost everything), and inexpensive beer. Service was good. Now for the other stuff: The restaurant converted an old Atlanta Bread Company location with almost no renovation, so the seating setup and bar will look odd. There are places where the tables feel crammed in, then other areas of wasted space. There's no waiting area, which is challenging since this place is popular. The check is still handwritten, but you can't go up to the cash register to pay. The entire setup is just really quirky and low-budget, but will hopefully improve over time.

Came back with another friend for lunch last week. It's still good. This time I ordered the smoked turkey and Brie on toasted ciabatta with argula and raspberry mayo. I chose sweet potatoes fries as my side and it was all so very good. my friend ordered the West Cobb Salad and she liked it a lot. Both meals were priced at $7 each which I think is very reasonable. I can't wait to go back and try something new again. We arrived at 11:30a.m on a Wed. and we were given a table right away but 30 min. later they were standing in line. It gets extremely busy at lunch. Prepare to come early or wait for a table but it is so worth it.

Like most of the reviews have already stated, the food is southern style. Good food and service, it just doesn't have a diner feel. Its very popular during lunch, and parking can be an issue. I have no issues with the West Cobb Diner, its just not my favorite.

I cannot get enough of the West Cobb Diner. I have had lunch twice and we even ordered take out for New Years Eve. The portions and price are unbelievable! Make sure you order the smoked turkey and brie sandwich with raspberry mayo and I had a side of sweet potatoe fries. Fresh Veggies daily. The drive to the restaurant in West Cobb if you live on the eastside is well worth it.

Love it! Sometimes you have to wait a bit for both a table and your food - it's a popular place. I've tried just about everything on the menu including a few specials and so far have only found one thing I didn't care for. Anything with their chicken (plate, sandwich, salad) is wonderful. The turkey dinner is great comfort food. Veggie plates are yummy. I've not had the fish tacos or tenderloin specials but that's pretty much all the husband eats so it must be good. The new pork chop special with blueberry chutney is really tasty. Now serving b'fast - it's good too!

Dined here 5-6 times and service and quality has declined. breakfast was disappointing with menu and taste. Great menu options and sandwiches and turkey dinner are good choices. Husband enjoysnthe fried chicken breast. Sweet potato fries and green beans are tasty. Tomato pie was the worst I've ever had. Warmed up on plate but grease formed puddle making crust soggy and not edible. Had dessert once and strawberry cake was tasty; lots of desserts to review and select. Tried a call-in, take-out order once. No one could find order and people blamed one another. They finally started another ticket only to find my cold food.

Positive Experience, fast seating, fast service, fast food. I am not in agreement of the other negative posters....If you live in West Cobb you are well aware of lack of good diners in the area, lest you go to a run-of-the-mill prefab food factories such as Chilis or applebees..YUCK. The food was well seasoned, this coming from a NOLA chef is a great complement. Crab SHE soup, a little heavy on nutmeg(I believe) but good for most palettes, wasn't watered down bisque that some restaurants try to serve. Crab Sliders were meaty not heavy on fillers, could be improved by adding a green of some sorts as a topper. Fish tacos, large portion of fish, but mahi mahi not a personal favorite, however they were seasoned well and fried lightly. Could be improved with corn tortilla option, holds up better with chipotle aoili's. Calamari, well seasoned-not over fried, but not the monster size calamari found at Brios or the like, alas still palated well. This diner far surpasses area food, look forward to returning and order veggie plate. They have a long list of southern veggie and starch favorites to choose from. In summary, a good choice for an afternoon lunch.

I love the west cobb diner. I have eaten here tons of times since they have opened and again last night but take out this time. I had the cod fish basket and the cod was fresh and my husband didnt even know that I got fish! I have tried most of the items on the menu and have constantly been impressed. The wait staff is super nice and have had the opportunity to speak with chef Chad on two occasions passing on how much I love his food. For some of us who go there often I really like the specials that are true specials and items that are not on the menu. Now that were coming into the summer I am sure that their will be great in season dishes as well. Yesterday the patio was open and that took some of the stress off the wait, but people come here with several generations of their families and take over 3 full tables at once. This is a very popular place to eat! I cant wait until my mom visits this summer so I can take her here. :) My favorite places to eat are La Cocina up at Brookstone, West Cobb Diner, Gabriels, Capers on Main, Bangkok Cabin.

We had dinner here last night. Judging from what we had and seeing the dishes served around us I think this place will do very well. My son had the turkey platter and everything on it was very good. I had a chicken, goat cheese, walnut and baby spinach salad and it was also excellent. My wife had another kind of salad that she loved. We tried going to this place a couple of weeks ago but it was too busy and we couldn't wait. They don't do any advertising so this crowd is all from word of mouth after only a month or so. That should tell you a lot right there. I used to like Slate Grill in this area but since that closed down I think West Cobb Diner has taken its place as an upscale comfort food place. It isn't expensive at all and the portions are generous and the atmosphere is relaxed. Now two of my three favorite restaurants in west Cobb are almost across the street from each other; Vincent's and West Cobb Diner. The third is Capers on Main in Kennesaw.

Went for lunch a few weeks ago, service was great, the prices were great, the portions were huge but the food was awful. I had the roast beef dip and couldn't eat it . Quality of meat was bad, too fatty. The fried green tomatoes we had for an appetizer were bland and tasted like they were from a package. Chilis is gourmet compared to West Cobb Diner. Would never go back.

Ok it started off rough. Got seated then ordered the brie..brie came it was very disappointing (fyi dont order it) bread was left in the hot line forever it was stale not toasted. And no silverware!! Now here is where it gets great we had shrimp and grits. Bravo on the grits. Then we had Pimento burger OMFG hands down one the top 3 burgers i have ever had. NEXT WBC burger good job on it. it was super juicy and yummy. The key lime cake perfectly done. And raspberry wine cake just as good or even better. Now the cherry on top TEELA our server made the day a five star. For me. she saved this review! I wish you well in the future

I don't understand how this place got such good reviews. I'll give it to them they have great service but how does the food come out in like 2 minutes; pre-made? The menu is too big with too many choices, that are all over the place- I felt like chef Ramsey sitting there with all the thoughts of things he would say. Gyro was Meh, sauce was weird. Fried Pickles, only tasted like pickles, no seasoning or breading taste and meatloaf was only worth 2 bites. Maybe this is good here in the south, and my expectations are too high from being in the north.

First time reviewing this place, but we've been several times. IT'S AWESOME. This is as close to a mom and pop meat and veg place that's still around - the good ones always seem to close before too long. It's also got a heavy neighborhood deli influence in the menu. We've yet to have anything that wasn't mouth wateringly delicious, and we haven't gotten the same thing twice. My top recommendation for a meal is the Pastrami Reuben. My sandwich of choice lately has been the reuben and I've gotten them all over town - this one is up there with the best of them. The rye bread is buttery and toasted without being hard or soggy - just right. The meat is tender, the slaw is crunchy, and there's a little bit extra sauce on it. It's also a good size, so I can eat some of it later. For a side you HAVE to get the Tomato Pie. I'm not always in the mood for it, but it's a truly unique dish that you'll want to tell people about and share. We took a whole one over to my family for Thanksgiving and it was a huge hit. I've tried making it at home but it was nearly as good. My final suggestion is to try ANYTHING on the menu! You aren't likely to be disappointed. My wife loves to get the veggie plate - your choice of any 4 sides - so we've tried just about all of them at this point. Still working our way through the menu - between their regular one and their specials it'll be a minute before that task is complete. We'll be there again real soon, I'm sure of it!

Had a late lunch here today. Meatloaf and squash casserole were excellent; fried okra was a bit soggy, but not awful. Server seemed distracted; she was not readily available and was somewhat brusque when she was around. It wasn't that busy, and there seemed to be plenty of servers. It wasn't the worst service I've ever had, not even close. But it could have been better.

I went in for a late lunch, and The staff was very friendly. Jessica was awesome, she took my order and got me my food quick and then left me alone while I ate, and got me out fast when she saw I was finished eating. The burger I ordered was awesome and so was the squash casserole. I will definitely be going back!

One night we had a hankering for comfort food, but wanted to venture OTP. We did some shopping and decided we should try the West Cobb Diner. The location is at the end of a strip mall and is really busy on a Friday night. We put our name in and were given two options, sit down now at the bar or outside, or wait 45 minutes for a table inside. Being from Chicago, I felt it was nice enough to sit outside, so we did. It wasn't long before I realized how much my skin has thinned living in Atlanta. I became a little chilly after a while and we were alone on the patio, which was kind of nice. After looking at the menu I decided on the crawfish crab cakes with corn casserole and macaroni and cheese. My husband got the fried chicken which came with mashed potatoes and fried zucchini. Upon enjoying my meal, I noticed that I was no longer cold. Comfort food at it's best keeps you nice and warm. The seafood cakes were delicious with large chunks of crawfish. But, my favorite part? The mac and cheese. It seemed like every bite I got had that almost burnt cheesy top in it. The corn casserole is great too, but it's simply too much when you have mac and cheese. I tried half of my husbands chicken and that was almost better than the seafood cakes I had. I also had to mention that even though we were expelled onto the patio by ourselves, our server did an incredible job with keeping in contact with us even though she had plenty of tables inside.

Pecan Pork Chops and Fried Chicken Something were really good. Chops had some jam and the chicken was just fine. Portions were almost too large. Split a spinach salad and there was so much feta cheese, it was borderline wasteful. Also took home a full chop with way too much breading. Millions of children, not enough bar seats. Understandably popular with locals for the volume of food and the moderate approach to dining.

One of the better places to eat in West Cobb. Menu goes on and on. I've been going here for years and it has never disappointed. The shrimp and grits are to die for! Great sweet potato fries. All of the sides are excellent!! Two thumbs way up!!!!

LOVE THIS PLACE! I've eaten here a few times now. The prices are great for the amount of food you get. I always have about half of my plate left to eat for lunch the next day. I recommend the pecan crusted pork chops with the blueberry chutney. All of the sides that I have tried have been great. I usually go with the Mac n cheese and corn casserole. The servers are always really nice.

A regular spot for us...often encounter friends/acquaintances there. Menu offers a number of regular items and a changing selection of "specials", some of which are, thankfully, fairly regularly offered as well. Portions are generous and food is good, with most dishes having a bit of flair in seasoning or preparation beyond what you might get on similar items at a basic "meat and three" type place. It's not a Louisiana place, but the Cajun or Creole dishes we've had when they offered them have been as good or better than what we've had in many restaurants claiming that as their specialty. Try the Catfish Creole, if offered. Veggies are tasty; greens well-spiced; tomato pie a yummy & different sort of side. We've never had a problem with waitstaff; food is usually delivered quickly and they check back regularly. Main downsides are that you may have to wait a little for a table, and the interior's mostly hard surfaces make it a noisy place when it's full (and it usually is). Only other slight problem we've noticed is the occasional fried item being a bit overdone. Neither of these things seem to have kept us or other customers away.

My fiancé and I discovered this place about two months ago and have been here 7 times since then! There's usually a wait on week nights but it's worth it. The food is amazing, always fresh and hot, and the employees are all very nice and attentive. Not once have we had a bad experience in any way. I love how the menu has traditional southern items but also some modern and unique options.

The food was GREAT!! My eyes were bigger than my stomach. Fried pickles as an appetizer. Mahi tacos (griled and fried with sweet potato fries) veggie plate(mac n cheese, greens, black eyes peas, and butter beans). The prices were really reasonable. I will definitely visit when I am back in the Georgia area!!

The pimento cheese burger was outstanding! It is large enough to feed your family so plan on splitting it and getting extra southern sides.

Considering the options in the corridor, a minor miracle. But still absolutely within the winning diner framework -- a modern, updated one. Tucked away behind a Walgreens on the corner of strip center, the walk up is not lights-out. And the interior is merely contemporary muted browns and blacks in a big open dining room that really is pure diner, so not too much of a show there either. But that is OK as all the action in on the menu. A big, big eclectic menu featuring tons of veggie sides (in fact the 4 veggie plate ($7 !!) seemed very popular and a straight diner classic) and tons of specials -- which they seem to post religiously and daily on their Facebook page. Ahem. I said, Modern Diner, didn't I? Rolling in for a late lunch, early dinner on a Sunday, we didn't know what to expect other than everyone was hungry. Thankfully a nice selection of apps promised some quick help. Went with fried pickles ($5) and the black eyed pea cakes ($6), one familiar and the other not. True enough the pickles were your basic dill chips competently fried up, but with a home-made tangy mustard sauce that was really different. And for completely out-there -- the black eyed pea pancakes, three big thick ones on a plate, slathered with smoked tomato jam and cilantro creme fraiche. Guarantee some New South something is getting $15 for a smaller, inferior version of this inventive number. The jam folded a kind of concentrated BBQ element into the earthy cakes, and the cilantro kinda bounced along on top, almost an Indian/Ethiopian flavor profile. Fans of different, this is your app. Otherwise, there is an Applebee's across the parking lot. Entrees did not lack for options, especially with what had to be 15 specials and several more special veggie sides. We wound up going with three of them -- blackened snapper & scallops ($18), chicken fried chicken ($11), and the fried chicken livers ($10). Odd man out was the turkey and brie sammich ($8) with raspberry mayo on ciabatta, which was really good but underscored that the specials are the play. The snapper arrived on a giant plate, with an ocean of creamed corn and several spears of asparagus hanging on for dear life. The fish was firm and fleshy, if with maybe a tad too much butter in the prep as is common, with several Cajun seasoned scallops offering strong, spicy support and -- wonder of wonders -- big sweet hunks of lobster lobbed into the mix. Just a very tasty, hearty dish for seafood fans that would be even better without mid-winter asparagus spears, which proved a little tough. Maybe sub bacony brussel sprouts as the default green? Next, the chicken fried chicken, mashed potato, fried squash combo was so effortlessly Southern that if you don't have an accent or love college football, you will after you eat it. I've lost track of the number of metro ATL joints which try to "re-invent" Southern cooking without ever learning to cook Southern. The pounded out chicken breast was crisp and thin, but not dry and stringy. And the batter stayed on -- hooray!, even as the unctuous gravy soaked in. The potatoes were straight evil, big yukons likely, and when scooped into the white gravy, a union no mortal can resist. And admittedly fried squash might not be everyone's gig, but it is hard to do it this well -- holds together until you bite it, is not all tough and bitter. But for pure diner mainlining -- the chicken livers lapped the field. OK, by definition REALLY not everyone's gig, but for those of us who crave them a couple times a year, no substitute. Here the incredible side selection really helped. Chicken livers obviously have a strong flavor, so you need some strong, yet contrasting sides to really make things work. Something else fried -- bad, bad idea. Enter the red beans and rice special side and the jalapeno cole slaw. The red beans coulda been an entree itself -- tons of Andouille, thick creamy beans, and plenty of backbone. The cole slaw was stupid brilliant -- just a basic Southern creamy, minced slaw prep with some jalapeno thrown in for a kick along with some carrot for sweet. Perfect complement to the earthy livers, which were lightly battered and seasoned, hard fried and served in a basket which held about a bushel. Cannot recall the last time a needed a doggie bag -- I needed one. You always do at a real diner. What else do diners have? Desserts. Rotating ones. Went with banana pudding, coconut cake, and chocolate cheesecake. It is really amazing anyone is still upright. When I read that back, I think -- how? Only nit is that the coconut cake was a little desiccated, probably as a result being in the cooler all day. The thing is, the burgers looked amazing, as did the salads, and the price point is beyond fair. Kinda glad I don't frequent this stretch of Hwy. 120 much -- I'd haunt the place.

I highly recommend the pastrami Reuben sandwich. it was large enough to split with two people. the sweet potato fries were delicious and a nice accompaniment to the sandwich.the service was great even though the restaurant was very busy. It took only about 15 minutes to get our food.

Just to update...I walked in for lunch today and noticed that the new menu has added asterisks next to side dishes containing or cooked with meat. Thanks!! Whether this was due to my previous review's request or just because someone took initiative...I really, really appreciate it. Food is still delicious, service friendly, and today it was warm enough to enjoy the patio outside. A happy Monday lunch with coworkers for sure.

The West Cobb Diner isn't really a diner, per say. Since New Jersey is the capital of diners, and being from there, I know great ones. Diners are usually open 24/7/365, have enormous menus, and owned by Greeks. Enough with diner trivia, and on to my review. We've been coming here for a while now, and really enjoy it. I've forgotten to check in a bunch of times, but that's with all of my go to places...lol. I looked up their menu online and was very intrigued by it. The menu isn't the typical 6 pages of never ending, yummy choices, but said to the hub, "This looks like a great place to eat!" I checked out fellow Yelper reviews, and here's where we had dinner that night. We've tried A LOT of the items on their menu, and they've all be delish. I like to get the blackened shrimp tacos. They have fried ones, but they'll make them grilled for you...just ask your friendly server. The roasted turkey dinner is huge, and it'll stick to your ribs. Heck, I'll just list everything we've tried so far...it'll be like my own little menu...lol. ~Calamari w/caper remoulade...an appetizer. It actually comes with okra, too, but I just want the calamari. ~Grammy's glazed meatloaf ~Pan seared top sirloin ~Thyme-Black pepper fried boneless chicken ~Mahi Mahi fish tacos ~The West Cobb salad ~MiMi's Italian chopped salad ~Blackened shrimp and mango salad ~Crab cake sliders ~Spaghetti & meatballs...a special ~Cuban sandwich....a special...HUGE! ~Lamb burger...a special ~WCD burger #2...a special ~Salmon & scallops w/lobster cream sauce and asparagus...a special ~Fried Green tomato BLT...AWESOME!!! I have only ONE complaint. The chef/cook is ONION crazy!!! Raw ones are the worst. I cook with onions, but I puree mine. It saves my wrist, you use less, and is way faster. I ordered the lamb burger, bit into it, and BAM, a big, uncooked piece of onion...ICK! Two of the three cole slaws...onions. :-( The service is friendly, and fast. Coral and Dylan are Servers extraordinaire ;-) I would have given a 5 star review, but the the plethora of raw, to barely cooked onions in many dishes caused me to give it 4 stars. If I can have a lamb burger, and some other dishes without biting into a raw chunk of onion, then I would give a 5 star review. There ARE others...just sayin'. :-)

The West Cobb Diner is one of our favorite places to eat in the area. We are there almost every Friday. The specials menu never disappoints. The portions are huge and we usually have enough food to take home for another meal. Favorites are: Hawaiian Ribeye, Low Country Boil, Prime Rib, Turkey Dinner, Lobster Ravioli and most of the side dishes.

Fish tacos anyone ? Hubby finds these yummy! Plenty of stuff in them, he had them blackened and his blue cheese slaw had just the right amount of blue cheese to please the taste buds:) I am one of those patrons waitresses run from but my Turkey Rueben with no thousand island with real turkey breast and not in rye but sourdough was not only no problem but at $7, an exceptional meal with stewed tomatoes and okra!

Good quality food. Nice size menu and good variety of choices. I did the veggie plate - mashed sweet potatoes, broccoli casserole, tomatoes/cucumbers and Mac- n-cheese with a corn muffin. Mac-n-cheese has good ratio if cheese to noodles with a bit of the top crust thrown in. Sweet potatoes were great !! Broccoli casserole is cheese and broccoli that still has some level of crunch. Cucumbers and tomatoes were a little too overdressed for my taste. Craig had fried grouper sandwich with tomato pie. A large portion - taking half to go. Was good but not so sure if it was really grouper. Tomato pie was excellent as just the right amount of cheesy. We will be back.

I thought honestly that it was going to be nothing special, but the West Cobb Diner was tasty. I ordered the honey balsamic chicken salad. It was Romaine lettuce with cherry tomatoes, honey balsamic (creamy), candied walnuts, apples and grilled chicken. My lunch mate got the meatloaf plate with sides. The food came out super fast and this salad was big enough for probably three people. I started eating but noticed my walnuts were missing. No biggie, the waitress brought me a condiment cup full which I actually enjoyed because I could put as many walnuts on watch bite as I wanted. She said they had a new salad girl. Not mad! The walnuts were nice.. both sweet and savory. Overall the salad was great. Maybe a few less leaves would make it easier to eat, but you really can't complain about getting too much food. The service is very friendly and helpful, and there are TVs, bar seats, tables and booths. I would definitely recommend stopping in if you're in the area.

This is my second time here and I am glad I decided to come here for lunch today. I had the honey balsamic chicken salad. I did have it on romaine instead of mixed greens and no cheese sub avocado. When my plate came it was bigger than I expected guess I forgot I was at a diner. The salad was amazing except for the chicken itself. I do believe the poaching liquid should have been properly seasoned. My server was amazing and she offered grilled chicken instead. That took my salad to the next level. That made it perfect.. I will definitely keep that in mind next time i have that salad. The service there was amazing!!! That made me forget the bland chicken. Now that I work close by I probably will be coming back again. ..

I've been to WCD on a few occasions and have always enjoyed my meal. However on my most recent visit for a friend's birthday, there was more than shrimp in my shrimp tacos. I found a screw, yes a screw in my taco! The manager came out and apologized and comped my meal. I'm not sure if I can or will dine there again.

Best dinner in Cobb county hands down. People are extremely friendly and the food is incredible. Portion sizes are huge and the pricing is extremely reasonable. There is a reason why this place is usually busy but even if you get there when it is, you won't wait long.

I walked in to West Cobb Diner expecting a corny version of Marietta Diner and needless to say, I was impressed! The first thing you see when you walk up to the door is the huge outdoor patio. They have live music every weekend and large heaters to keep the crowd warm as we go in to the Fall. During the Summer months their oversize table umbrellas and shade from the trees keep the Summer heat out. West Cobb Diner isn't your typical diner. The décor was very chic and upscale which made me curious what the menu prices would be. They have a full bar lined with flat screen TV's that you can see from the dining room, which I love for college football Saturdays! The "waiting area" is a small area with benches and chairs and you're seated right in front of the dessert counter. What a tease! WCD boasts over 10 homemade desserts made daily, some of them you can even buy and take home and tell your friends you made it yourself, which I have done! It's cute to see little kids with their foreheads against the glass case making high pitched noises while pointing out everything. Reeses peanut butter cheesecake, orea cheesecake, original cheesecake with fresh fruit, dark chocolate brownies, warm chocolate chip cookies and flourless chocolate cake just to name a few. When you are seated you are given a large menu and of course a separate menu of the daily sides that are also homemade. These options change daily and while I tend to lean towards their broccoli casserole and green beans, the mac n cheese is amazing and so are the mashed potatoes with a hint of garlic. There are over 10 sides to choose from and each entrée comes with corn bread or a biscuit. Gotta love the South! While I have never tried anything but the turkey dinner, my friends have tried the meatloaf, chicken tenders, pot roast and french dip and they all say they're delicious. I always walk in convinced I'll try something new but when the table next to me orders the turkey dinner I always opt for it. You can have Thanksgiving every day with WCD for less than half the price! Thick slices of warm turkey with cornbread stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, 2 huge sides of your choice and cornbread all for only $10! You just can't beat that! We only sit in the section that Matt is working. I know it is silly to have a certain server but when you've experienced the best, why not go back? He adds to the perfect experience we always have at West Cobb Diner. He is very attentive, knows us by our first name and makes small talk with us whenever we come in. It is nice to see good people working here and Matt is great. I recommend you sit in his section if you want the best! Overall, WCD is a hidden secret in Kennesaw. If you haven't been it is worth the trip! Don't forget to ask for Matt and get the turkey dinner!

Great service with great food. We ordered the pecan pork chops with the tomato cucumber salad and sweet potatoes. The portions were huge and well executed. I would definitely recommend this dish, as well as the corn casserole that we were able to sample. Our waitress was super nice and went through the entire menu for us, pointing out all the different specials and explained how some of the more vague sides were prepared. I'll definitely be coming back again.

OMG!! Lauren (she's the owner of West Cobb Diner) told me today was the first day they have served squash casserole. I have to say I enjoy all their food generally speaking. I eat there regularly, but I have never had squash casserole like this. I'm a country boy, grew up on great southern home cook'n but THIS is Absolutely Amazing!! You have to try it!! I'm talk'n slap your momma kinda stuff, like seriously, slap your momma and say "why haven't you made squash like this all my life"! Haha! Honest, it's the very, very best!! Ps Mom, I love you. You still make the best corn casserole in the world. ;)

Wonderful atmosphere. The service was excellent. The amount of food you get is huge - and it was delicious. Great value for your money. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

This was my first time here. I had heard such wonderful things and was not disappointed. I had the grilled pimento cheese and ham with sweet potato fries. The pimento cheese is homemade and has a delicious mild flavor. The sweet potato fries were awesome! We will be back.

Long overdue. I wanted to try this place for months and yesterday I finally did. Sooooo yummy: boneless fried chicken cooked to perfection with squash casserole and green beans. Going back on Friday. great price...had leftovers and they were lunch this afternoon.

I love this place. I am not a fan of southern cuisine, but this place is at the top of my recommendation list! You have to give it a try. Big Plus, the owners work in the restaurant and are very friendly!

Bit hard to find in the shopping center, but it's the reason the parking lot is full. Always busy! Our extended family loves the place, especially mac n cheese with veggies for a veggie plate. On my first visit, most of the table went for blackened Mahi Mahi tacos. Delish, but I'd rather see the fish shine without so much cheese, etc. I expect if I asked it would happen for me. Service was excellent- on time, thoughtful, & knew just what we would need & when we'd need it. The kid loves the diner dip- didn't get to taste, but she loves it. Sweet potato fries are over the top. I'll update when we get back- they may get the elusive 5th star yet;)

We have been in the area for a little over a year and this place has turned out to be one of our favorites. Great food, good sized portions, friendly service, kid friendly, on and on and on and on.

HMMMM!

Always a great mean. Highly recommend the honey balsamic chicken salad, the red beans and rice, and any of the burgers (though not in the same meal). Helpful and friendly staff and very affordable prices. Hard to eat this well for $10 anywhere.

You still make the best corn casserole in the world. ;)

This was my first time here. I had heard such wonderful things and was not disappointed. I had the grilled pimento cheese and ham with sweet potato fries. The pimento cheese is homemade and has a delicious mild flavor. The sweet potato fries were awesome! We will be back.

OMG!

Awesome....everything we have had has been great. The prices are really good. Our family of 5 got out for under $50
