So, the concept of twisted kitchen is a spin on italian food by allowing you to decide what you want in your pasta. Now the plus side is your choices. Alot of varieties of pasta(non gluten etc.) to choose from and fairly priced. Good for kids as well I'm assuming However it lacks authenticity. Being from NJ, it lacks Italian appeal. From the Alfredo to the marinara, I can tell it comes delivered from a truck. (not how I want my sauce). The food was sub par, but all of the food I tasted is similar to a bulk package from Costco. Reminds me of a children's ice cream buffet. Whoever rates this 4 or more stars needs to get their head examined, or is slightly over weight and just enjoys big portions. CIAO

First time here. Restaurant was very clean and the staff was very friendly and patient, walking us through the menu and the combinations. Food was fresh, hot, and quick. Definitely going back!!

This place is great. Very neat idea for a restaurant. My favorite is the skillet lasagna. I add mushrooms and spinach. You get a lot of food for under $10! The best thing is that I usually have enough left for lunch the next day or dinner that night. Atmosphere is nice and customer service is great.

Twisted Kitchen is a new restaurant off of the Town Center Mall corridor. The restaurant offers salads, wraps, and pastas. You can choose from a variety of pasta entrees or design your own. You pick your pasta type, sauce, and toppings and then it is cooked to order. There are 8 sauces, 6 pastas, 4 proteins, and over 25 additional toppings in which to create your entree. The base price is $6.99 to create your own, add $1 if you want meat. The food tasted fresh and was plentiful, the restaurant was very clean, and the staff friendly. The food is served in a plastic to go style container, which was kind of off putting presentation-wise, but it is convenient if you have leftovers. This is a good choice for a casual meal at a reasonable price. (They are located in the strip center behind Chase bank and Bobby's Burgers.)

Great to be able to get a nice gluten free pasta dish that was quick and tasty. Even had gluten-free meatballs! What a treat! Very clean restaurant with friendly service. Highly recommend!

This Kitchen is Twisted with yummy goodness! I love the set up, you can basically create your own pasta bowl.... You let them know what you want, picking your pasta...w/ low carb and gluten free options, meat and fresh veggie toppings, and they bring it all together right before you. My coworker and I stopped for lunch around noon last Friday. This was my second visit......Now, on my first visit I played it safe and ordered THE PARM, which was very good, I mean how can you go wrong with chicken Parmesan??? It was exactly what I expected, great tasting breaded chicken breast in marinara sauce and cheese on a bed of pasta of your choice, Bow-tie is my favorite!!! Pasta cooked just right ( I do not like over cooked pasta) and everything was fresh. This time around, I decided to be creative and build my own bowl, with bow-tie pasta aka farfalle pasta, chicken breast, mozzarella cheese, marinara & alfredo sauce ( Yes, I'm greedy and the cook suggested it, lol), red onions, tomatoes, roasted red peppers and bell peppers. It was really a great combination. My coworker also suggested I try a cookie .....I can't recall the name of the cookie, but I can almost describe it.... it's a chocolate chip cookie with coconuts, macadamia nuts and maybe pecans in it. My advise : GO GET ONE. lol It was very hard returning to work with a tummy full of pasta, but I survived ( lol ). If you are not really looking for this place , it is easy to miss, its hidden at the corner of a small shopping center off Barrett Parkway next door to a Buffalo Wild Wings, Moes and a Planet Subs. If you're in the area, check them out (even if you are far away, the cookie may be worth the drive..lol ).

Food was really fresh and good. However the portion of toppings on the green salad were very small and not sufficient.

Great pasta and other menu items. Loved the bread stick that came with my pasta. I ordered the three cheese pasta and my husband created his own pasta. We just moved to the area and we plan to visit Twisted Kitchen again!

So I came here one day on my lunch break and thought I would give it a try. I didn't know how to order and the person taking my order guided me along. This place has many different options to choose from. It's pretty much creating your own pasta bowl. I liked what I had but the next time I go,I hope I know what seasonings/sauces work with what I select. Not a total bust, just a person that didn't know what to do. :)

Twisted kitchen is a fun little casual place. It's much like a Willy's or Subway, but with pasta! You can select from a variety of pasta types (including low-carb and gluten-free) and meats, cheeses, and sauces, or you can choose one of their suggested concoctions. The staff were very nice, and the place was very clean, too. The food is tasty -- no, it's not authentic Italian food or anything -- but it was savory and better than I could have made at home!

My first time as well and it was delicious. Pasta is truly Al'dente which is nice for those of us who like healthy pasta rather than overcooked slosh. We did a "create it yourself" bowl of pasta and it was perfect; just the right amount of sausage, veg's and sauce. I'm not that thrilled with the bread roll - kind of no-taste at all and the crumb wasn't all that interesting either. But who needs bread when the pasta is so good. I'm not sure why they have noodles on the sign as all I saw was pasta. Maybe I missed something but I don't think so. These folks also have beer and maybe wine but I didn't see that. By all means try this place... lovely service, good prices and tastey food.

Maybe I've been spoiled by the likes of Mirko and Figo, but this place didn't do it for me. I came here to grab some quick take out after reading the great reviews. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a very friendly employee. She inquired as to whether or not I had been there before and, upon learning that I had not, proceeded to explain the concept and walk me through placing my order. I went with the "Fredo Is Twisted" with the low carb angel hair. The dish comes with alfredo sauce, shrimp, spinach, and mushrooms. Once I started eating, I immediately noticed that the pasta was overcooked to the point of being sticky. As someone who likes al dente pasta, this was a big let down. The shrimp were tiny and overcooked as well. The alfredo sauce was nothing special either - kinda tasted like it came from a jar. I guess I was anticipating something a little more upscale (better pasta / sauce / ingredient options), but that's definitely not what I got. I get that this is a fast casual concept, but I can't say that it's done very well.

I was craving pasta one day and was so glad to find this place that has a gluten-free pasta option! The create-your-own pasta option is great and very well-priced. My dish had the marinara sauce which was kinda plain but I guess I could've tried a more flavorful one. I wish it wasn't served in styrofoam though. The staff were very friendly and helpful and this place has a nice casual atmosphere. We also got free fountain drinks for Twisted Tuesdays. I'd definitely come back here for their gluten-free pasta.

The food is good here and you get to pick what you like for your meal. The owner is also really great and will come around to check on everyone which is rare these days.

We have been meaning to get to this place for a while, luckily found a ScoutMob so we went to try it out. Glad I had a discount. The concept is cute, the attempt is lazy. I just do not think that it is a good look to get a bunch of raw veggies mixed in with pasta, thrown in with sauce, put in a frying pan for a moment or two and DONE... I would like my vegetables and meat given the opportunity to get browned before it is tossed in sauce and thrown into the container. The alfredo sauce was unremarkable.

Think of twisted kitchen as the chipotle of pastas. You get a choice of pasta ( low-carb,gluten free, penne..etc), toss in some protein, veggies, sauce and viola! I must admit I wasn't to impressed with the $10 price tag for the lackluster amount of alfedo sauce ( Should have asked for more) or the tiny shrimp that accompanied it. They are offering a scoutmob for the meantime which I really should have used and just dinned in. Cute concept just kinda fails me seeing how I can whip up some mean pasta at home.

This place is EXCELENT. The flavor of their food is just as good if not better than a fancier, more expensive Italian eatery. Building your own pasta is always fun, but you don't even have to because the pastas they have on the menu are delicious. I didn't try their sandwiches or other items but I'm sure they are great. The staff is friendly and helpful and the restaurant is clean and modern. I'll be back very soon!

I stopped in for lunch. Clean, new, and a pretty wide variety of options including low carb pasta(nice!). Everything is made to order, think moe's goes pasta....

1st time here today. Good, fast counter service type place. Food was way better than I expected. Lots of options; low carb pasta and gluten-free pasta were both really tasty. I had a shrimp Alfredo dish and my wife had meatball Parmesan. Cheaper and better than olive garden, not to mention faster.

4 stars from me means it was REAL GOOD. I love the selection. Imagine Subway or Willys Mexicana but pasta. The ingredients you pick determine whether it is a Chinese or Italian meal you are having. Great sauces, meats, and other items. Sundried tomatoes, mushrooms etc. Delicious!!!

Today being the 4th, most of the restaurants we frequent were closed. I guess it was time for us to venture out of our comfort zone. We loved this place. We are vegetarians and we loved the way the staff used fresh, clean utentsils to cook our food. I had the Mandarin Twist, made off Penne pasta, mandarin Orange ginger sauce, lots of shiracha chilli sauce, broccoli, water chestnuts minus the breaded chicken. I asked the staff to put some fresh red chilli seeds. All in all, food was very good. Wife and son went for the "make your own pasta" and they were quite happy too. We will definitely go back in a couple of weeks!

Delicious pasta! We had catered lunch from here one day at work and the only problem with food this delish is the carb coma you inevitably slip into after downing mountains of noodly, creamy goodness! We had two cream-based pastas that I could have eaten mountains of, one a tomatoey sauce and one more of an Alfredo style sauce. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the chicken in it was still tender and delicious. I imagine if we had come here to eat, I would have been able to give five stars but alas, no pasta travels perfectly. Still, I would totally try again!

I stumbled across Twisted Kitchen as I was searching on Yelp for new spots with gluten-free options. A coworker is gluten-free, and I wanted to have an inclusive spot to try. I saw online that they offered low-carb and gluten-free pasta, called to follow up and the person on the phone confirmed. They do indeed have GF pasta. On the day of our lunch, we walked in and observed the setup. You order, either from the menu's house concoctions, or you can "create your own" pasta dish. There were quite a few pastas to choose from: cavatappi, penne, farfalle, fusilli, etc. My selection was "Arti's Choked Spinach," unsurprisingly a spinach, artichoke and sun dried tomato melange with white sauce, breadcrumbs and cajun seasoning. They heat the pre-cooked pasta with the ingredients and package them up in to-go boxes (whether or not you're dining in). The breadsticks were KILLER. Each entrée comes with one, and we all raved about how good they were. It's definitely a fast-casual restaurant, and one that my dining party really enjoyed. Fountain drinks and a tremendously fun fork dispenser (I kid you not) round out the experience. Prices were quite reasonable, and we were all pleased with our meals. I'll definitely stop back by here for a happy, carby lunch.

This is great - a place where you can get decent, semi-fast pasta. Much like the style-your-own burrito joints and about as good as, say, Panda Express (I like PE). Notice I wrote 'pasta', not 'Italian food'. This isn't Italian any more than Panda Express is Chinese and Chilito's is Mexican. But who cares? It's good.

This place is really nice and set up almost like and Italian style chipotle. The atmosphere is very causal. Great set up for a small group of ppl. They cook your food right in front of you as you wait for it. They also give a nice amount of food so you are guaranteed to be full when you leave. There are so many options to choose from here and the combinations are endless on what you can create. The staff here were very friendly and clean. The restaurant in General was very well kept as well as the restrooms. Last but not least, they give military discount which is a plus for me.

This is my favorite place for a quick but nice meal. So many options, its like subway for pasta. I love that they have so many veggies. They even have gluten free options, and the workers are usually pretty friendly!

Whats better than great pasta right? The place is a great lunch spot but also much more... I enjoy mixing up pasta combinations. Always taste fresh and I love mixing in healthy ingredients. My office has also used their catering services and they do a great job as well. Even breakfast.....

Love this place! Went for the first time today. I was a little concerned that the existing menu options would be super rich but bland in flavor. The cook is very close and visible while he makes your food. So I asked him to add something spicy to my dish. Apparently Sriracha sauce is the go-to spicy flavor, but they have other stuff. So my skillet-cooked lasagna with farfalle (bow tie pasta ) and Sriracha sauce was out of this world. Tasted like a slow-cooked, highly flavored dish with creamy melted cheeses. Yummo!! They have the nicest people working on the ordering and serving line. And you can't beat the value with a stick! Where else can you get a very flavorful dish that's enough for 2 meals at a $7.99 list price? Not a fan of the styrofoam containers. But I can see how this keeps the dishwashing cost to a minimum. Maybe somebody can design pretty styrofoam containers rather than the ubiquitous Darth Vader black version........ Finally, I know why they call that signature cookie "The Greatest Cookie in the World." I'm a grown-up, non-blue Cookie Monster. So trust me when I say that nobody's exaggerating about this cookie. It has layers of flavors in your mouth with the coconut, chocolate, etc. And it's not sickly sweet at all. Don't miss this thing!

Fast and Friendly and super clean, Health score of 100-A . They also Gluten Free Pasta, not that I am Gluten intolerant but thought some would like to know this. Lunch or dinner under $10 including a drink. They offer Pasta dishes as well as wraps. While it was a quick bite I did not find it wonderfully tasty but average in flavor. Its basically a prep station set up with your pasta selections that you mix and match, veggies, meats, and sauces. Pasta is par-cooked as well as the meat and sauces, so is this Fresh? to me NO, but to most this is considered fresh. Could not be fast if everything was from Scratch. I can't say that it would be on my list of go to places but if I worked in the area and my coworkers wanted a quick bite, I would visit again, but it would not be a destination place for me.

Yep... This place is a must try. The entire staff is extremely friendly and they are great at making you feel welcome. Now the food is very tasty. Last year I tried Gluten free for a month. It was difficult. With this place I could have enjoyed every meal. I tried everything on the table and it was all delicious.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. I describe it as the Subway of noodles. the service is great, you get your food fast, & there are nearly limitless combinations you can make of noodles, sauces, & ingredients.

I can't believe this place an overall rating of 4 stars. Food was very mediocre at best, portions were small, and price was way high for what you get. There are so many places around where $10 a person goes a LOT further, I don't see how they stay in business or why anyone goes there. Won't return.

First, I would like to open this view with a single word: Wow! And now, from my husband's point of view. At first, he wasn't personally keen on the whole ''pasta'' idea because of our diet, but when I mentioned ''It's like a pasta style Moe's'', his interest was rather peaked. He and I both like how clean it is and as a plus for people on a diet, ''low-carb pasta!'' Nice! And now on to the ''overall'' review; Though a rather new place, even for as long as it has been standing I'd have to say that all the review ratings so far are on par, and I'm glad to join in with a 5 star. The staff is very polite and have a great sense of humor. I really appreciate their example of teamwork with preparing your food. The place is very clean and evenly toned in the artful colors of black, red, and white with a unique style to it that makes it perfect for a family/date/game night (with the TVs playing the game and such) and music that is not too loud or shabby to listen to while you dine. Food is rather affordable and refreshingly different from the norm in the area, with plenty of toppings, pasta, and sides to choose from! I tried the ''cap pasta'' (or so I call it) with Alfredo sauce and shrimp. It was very tasty with my freshly made roll (RIGHT before my very eyes!) and a cookie. The cookie is worth the $2, be sure to give it a go! So to wrap things up in a fine twist, next time you need somewhere new to go for perhaps a first date, a night with the friends, or just to have an enjoyable luncheon that is sure to have you feeling full and happy, check this place out! The staff is happy to see you and ready to whip you up a quick dish!

The food here is always really good. Love being able to make my own pasta combinations. It's a little pricey but worth it for a nice lighter lunch. The owner is awesome. He engages the customers and generally makes you feel like you're part of the family. They're always clean and you can tell that cleanliness is a priority here. Well managed, good food, great service.

Another great experience. It's all about the sauce and they have some great sauces. This time I tried the Ginger Soy Orange sauce. My taste test with the spoon, it was a bit overwhelming, but with the pasta it was just right. Twisted Kitchen is a real hidden gem in Kennesaw.

I was very excited to try this new eatery. Huge waste of money and time. I have not tried their past or salads but the Steak Pizzaiola Wrap is absolutely awful. The steak taste like old meat YUK. The sauces however are delicious but I will not be giving them a 2nd chance. It's hard to mess up a sandwich and bad or old meat after only being open for 3 weeks is a bad bad sign
