PL&P has been open for awhile by me but tonight was the first time we went and I am kicking myself for not going sooner. The pizza was delicious, the staff was so helpful and friendly, and the the cook time was fast. We had a pizza with a topping and it was priced pretty comparatively to other places nearby. The more gourmet pizzas are pricey though so I do not know that they would be worth the price though. We plan on going back on a Tuesday when they have 5 free toppings on the large pizza The sandwiches and salads also sound good. No one near our table was eating one though so I do not know if this means the sandwiches/salads are not as good or if people just wanted pizza.

This is our go-to pizza place. I always get the Peaceful Garden (lots of veggies and instead of red sauce, they use basil olive oil), add salami and mozzarella cheese (the other alternative is vegan cheese). My husband gets the Meat-A-Saurus Rex. One of my favorite things about this place is that you can get personal pizzas (8"). We always get a side of the Peaceaparanza (creamy Greek, or Esparanza) dressing to dip into. So delicious! I love the crust and the toppings seem to be very good quality. Their wings are good too, and their cinna bread is yummy, served with icing for dipping. Service is fast, food always tastes fresh and hot. I love the variety of toppings and different specialty pizzas; it really sets them apart from other places.

I kept getting flyers for this place and decided to order from them last night. The confirmation told me it could take up to an hour for delivery but it showed up in 30 minutes. I got thin crust Italian sausage and red onion pizza and LOVED it. The crust was perfect and this is the best delivery pizza I've had in this area so far. I also ordered buffalo wings and they are cooked perfectly and the sauce was great. This will be my go to place for pizza delivery now.

Had my doubts about the raves for this place -- but three take-outs have convinced me, this is the best pizza in East Cobb. Toppings are beyond fresh, not to mention inventive. For that reason I advise skewing toward the veggies a little -- absolutely nothing wrong with the meats, all tight and non-greasy, but the parade of veggies on the specialty pies is a great thing. Crust is firm and chewy and devoid of greasy run-off -- I mean, this is stuff that you vulture the crusts of other dopes who leave it behind. Fabulous. Cheese and sauce comes on in proper proportions -- no small thing. Again, with great fresh toppings you want to let them take center stage. Couple different options, as with the cheeses, including a vegan option for those so inclined. Only real downer is the price point -- absolutely higher than some other options. But, honestly, you get what you pay for -- especially the salads, the caesar is the equal of some sit-down joints. And that is the comp -- want caz, slightly junky, decadent, a sit down meal at home? PLP. Bonus: What really sold me on this joint is that my last trip they punched in a coupon I didn't know about and didn't have to save me about $10. That is taking the long view and building a business.

Mediocre, at best. The crust was thin, but doughy. The wings were pretty good. The cinnalove Apple crust was hard to cut through or bite off from too chewy dough.

As far as a basic pizza place, peace love and pizza is okay. My family likes the wings and they have multiple seasonings and sauces you can put on them. The pizza is, at best, greasy. It always makes me a little sick due to the amount of grease on the pizza- even after I blot the major oils off. They have occasional deals, but it's still pretty pricey. The only reason my family went was because of teacher discount- even then it was still expensive. Try their salads and wings if you go- the pizza doesn't come close to the quality of the salads and wings. The staff save the day though- kind and quick with their service. Even gave me a free drink while I waited to pick up my order. Your average pizza place

Friday Night I ordered Pizza with the toppings just the way I wanted. I was told it would be to me in 45 minutes. There was a knock on my door 35 minutes later. The box was so hot I could almost not handle it. Each one of my toppings was just as requested. As an added treat they had a promotion for Cheese Sticks. I could make a meal off of these any day. Keep up the good work and welcome to the neighborhood.

This is our favorite pizza place in Marietta for sure. We order delivery at least once a week. Ingredients are fresh and high quality. The wings are absolutely a must to try. Also, the customer service is excellent. Had an issue with an order and was issued a generous credit with no hassle. This is what keeps customers coming back. I recommend this place to anyone that can appreciate a good pizza and a great business.

Just tried this place for the first time tonight and it's a mixed-review. First off, the website was easy to navigate and ordering online was a breeze. Delivery was very quick and friendly. The portions are massive. Too massive, really. We ordered a calzone, a baked sub and garlic parm breadsticks. Turns out I could have fed an entire Ethiopian child labor camp. I can't argue about the quality of ingredients. You can definitely tell that the food is fresh and natural and I appreciate that. But that is absolutely reflected in the price. Our order (again, a 10" calzone, regular order of garlic parm breadsticks and a philly steak sub) came to nearly $40. That's way too much for a neighborhood pizza and wing/sandwich joint. It's just way too much. If the food were the best I'd ever had, then MAYBE I'd be willing to pay that much for it but for that amount, I can go sit down at a nice Italian restaurant (no, I'm not talking about the chains) and get entrees with salad and rolls for two. And while the food is definitely fresh, the taste is just good. I don't see myself ordering again unless the prices are cut. I understand you get a lot for the money but personally, I'd rather have smaller portions and pay less. One thing I will applaud, though, is that they give a 50% discount to teachers, military, fire and police.

Got this last night and it was delicious! I got the Viva Las Vegan, which had an awesome variety of flavors. Also got a ricotta pizza with spinach, tomatoes and mushrooms it was DELICIOUS! you can tell their ingredients are quality. Giving it 4 stars because they didn't have many specials/deals going on and it is a bit pricy. However, they dont skimp on toppings so its very filling and worth the money. I'd definitely buy again

Best pizza in Cobb. We used to order from the Wade Green location, but this spot across from the YMCA at the corner of E Piedmont & Roswell Rd is closer to us. They do pizza right - slight crunch to the crust but soft on the inside, cheese and sauce melted together to form the perfect orange topping. Cheese pizza is perfect as it is - but the BBQ chicken pizza is pretty amazing too...

Good pizza they have good toppings and are generous with the amount on the pizza. Perfect amount of grease. Very friendly staff and not too expensive. People say it's pricey but if I wanted cheap cardboard pizza is go to little Caesar's. My favorite pizza is a ham and bacon pizza with sweet Thai chili sauce and I put the garlic on the table all over it.

I recently tried PLP and thought I would share my experience. It has cool decor and is very welcoming. Staff was friendly and patient. The menu has TONS of items and I was actually overwhelmed. It is very expensive and the smallest pizza is an 8". I got a basic one topping 8". It was okay but not worth the price. For $7 personal, I would expect some differentiation of ingredients..antibiotic free chicken, nitrate free pepperoni, grass fed steak, organic or local sourced veggies or something. I don't think they do any of that. I have to say that I eat very clean without many preservatives, msg, yeast extract and all the other names of MSG, so I have to choose carefully when I eat out. I ate one slice and got a headache that I typically get when I eat something with MSG or its derivative under another name. That doesn't happen when I eat other pizza. No kids menu or pizza by the slice for them. It's either buy a whole a pie or get them an 8" (which they probably wouldn't eat all of it and probably shouldn't eat it all). The tea is fountain not brewed. That's enough for a 1 star rating. I know my tastes and needs are different than most, so I won't penalize PLP for that. That would be like somebody with a peanut allergy giving 1 star to a penut butter cookie place. I'm giving 3 stars because I think there is potential. The other people really liked the food. Friendly staff and cool atmosphere. Good luck and welcome to the neighborhood!

Not a good experience today at lunch. Visited the East Piedmont location for lunch and was over $13 for a 8" one topping pizza and a stale salad that was made days ago. Won't be back.

Great staff. Great pizza. Just a littttttle pricy. But definitely worth it. The moonbeam sausage pizza is fantastic. Go see these guys and grab some pizza.

The food is good the customer service or whomever answers the phone is very unprofessional. The only reason I kept ordering from here is because the food was good and I could overlook the customer service. From the first time I called they asked me how to get to the place I was ordering to, since I am not from the area I said I was not sure to which I got a reply "don't you drive there everyday". Which I found to be rude speaking to customer in such a way. I still ordered and took time out to get better directions per the request of the person on the phone with me. Whom may I add found it amusing that I was not able to give directions. Which I do not feel is my place to have to do. I have worked in the service industry for years and never treated customers like this. The reason for me writing this review which is the first review I have EVER written in my life is today I called to order a pizza, was told for the first time ever there is a delivery minimum, which is fine I understand. I was told "we aren't going to drive out there for less then 10$". Fine I changed my order and made it to the minimum. I go the order and it had a GLOVE backed in it. I called back the person that picked up the phone answered by saying "yes". I explained my problem to which I was told "Oooo we will bake a new one and send it out your way". No sorry no anything. I said ok then thought about it for a few minutes and decided I didn't want the pizza anymore due to a. there being a glove in it and b. the way the situation was handled. When I called back I was greeted by someone picking up the phone and saying "yes boss lady". I said excuse me giving the person to retract their statement to which they repeated the same thing again. I told the person I don't want the pizza and want a refund, still I didn't receive any apology or anything even acknowledging they did something wrong. I am sure its doesn't matter as I just one person, but I will NEVER order from there again. I honestly could not believe the way I have been treated on various occasions when I placed my order.

Ate here this evening. Pizza was good - I would rate the pizza four stars. Price was high - $30 for a large pizza and three drinks - wow. The main reason for the three stars was for some strange reason the owners have no shades on the windows to block the sun. Ate there around 7 with family and the inside dining area was unbearable, restaurant faces due west and the sun shines straight into the restaurant. I wondered why the dining room was empty - hey peace love and pizza get a clue!!

Way better pizza than the big guys. Their ingredients taste fresh and they offer a variety of yummy toppings. They only messed up our order once, which I've found tends to common occurrence in the world pizza delivery. Fortunately they fixed it free of charge, so no love lost. I'd recommend to drop by if you're in the area.

Relocated from Chicago Pizza heaven and been here a year. Searched thru a dozen and a half pizza joynts, and PLP is a lofty #2 on the list behind Aurelio's, but well, well ahead of #3. Had the Desparedo w Wife and kids had bacon w half pineapple (hey, they're. Young and at least beyond the cheese phase). Awesome! Will be back! By the by, best NYC pizza so far seems to be Cappozi's ...but have not fully explored all NYC pizza joynts yet.

I wanted to like this place but they let me down in several ways. Here they are a large to small: 1. They are expensive! $29 for a small kid size pizza, salad, calzone (meal deal) and a drink. 2. The food just wasn't very good. 3. They got our very simple order wrong. 4. Marina should be brought out hot. I know it was probably meant for delivery so kept cold but we were not delivering we were dining in. Dining in = hot marinara. 5. The place just does stuff odd. It looks like a kid friendly place, I mean there is a big chicken right outside the door, but they don't have kids meals. They keep the parmasean cheese in a fridge behind the counter which is cool, I guess, but you got to tell somebody man don't just sit there and watch us check all the tables in the restaurant. They don't bring you out plates but it is not clear where the plates are. One should never wonder where the plates are in a restaurant. 6. Lastly, sweet tea should never come out of a fountain. It should always be brewed fresh. This is the South, we must represent. Despite all this the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately kindness does not equal good food.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
