As soon as you walk in the scenery is beautiful. From the tall statues to the calming waterfall I was intrigued by the restaurants uniqueness .When you walk in your immediately greeted with a vast amount of food the atmosphere is serene and the soft lighting makes you feel comfortable. The hip modern decor of the restaurant sets the scene for a "New Age" dine-in/buffet experience! Who said buffets aren't classy!

The reason why I give it five stars is because it is exactly what you would expect for the price, and being a buffet. The sushi is probably the best part of this place, with many different varieties, and it being made fresh on a regular basis. The hibachi is alright, and The soups are really good as well. I don't eat meat, so this place is really ideal for me. The staff is all pretty nice as well. But, don't be expecting top-notch food.

For a $7.50 lunch review, I was expecting a mess. From the lack of Chinese restaurants and buffets, apparently in the greater Atlanta area, not many people eat American Chinese. This is a gem. I was shocked that for $7.50 (the price of a lunch special at any Chinese takeout in New York), I was able to eat from a hibachi grill, a sushi bar, a dessert / fruit bar, and American Chinese classic. The General Shu (Tso) chicken was NOT spicy and was actually pretty sweet, but every Southern Chinese I've had is ridiculously sweet. However, based on the gorgeous interior, extreme variety in sushi, clean feel to the restaurant, and cheap price; this place has to be a five star.

Pros: a lot of choices, variety in food, many places to get seated, inexpensive. Cons: the food is oily, not all items are fully cooked, the staff seem urgent to clear the tables, inconsistency in food quality We normally go for lunches here. This last visit we had dinner. And the food was not good, they all seemed to taste the same...oily. Later that evening my son and I got sick. My son threw up everything that night and was sick for a couple of days. To sat the least, the dinner was disappointing"

Wow I don't think I have ever spit my food in my napkin before in a public place. I'm praying that I don't get food poisoning in the morning. My first plate was fine because it only consisted of the hot foods which was fine because I mean come on how much do you expect from a Chinese buffet ? The coconut shrimp was good and actually the reason I came because I had a taste for some. A lot of the food looked like it had been sitting out for awhile which was strange because there was a decent amount of people in. The sushi. Omg STAY AWAY. I love sushi absolutely love it but this has to be the most sickening thing I've ever had in my life. The fish had a weird salt water taste to it, some of the avocado was brown.... I'm getting nauseous just thinking about it.

As far as Chinese buffets go, this place is definitely one of the better ones. It's very clean, and there are luxurious looking decorations. One of the biggest selling points for me is the sushi bar. There is a large selection of sushi available and it seems much fresher than other buffets. This place actually drove another Chinese buffet that was on the other side of the plaza out of business.

I just. I. Can't. This place is dirty. The people that work that seem rushed and quite overworked. The food is not horrible but a lot of it sits around for a long time before they replace it. The ice cream bar is scary though. Everyone has their hands in everything. The sushi is just not good. Sorry guys.

The best around. Food is great with an awesome selection of sushi. Staff is very friendly.

Based on prior reviews it seemed this would be a hit or miss but I tried it last night --- MISS. It is much nicer inside than most buffets and the wait staff was friendly and kept my iced tea filled and table clean. Unfortunately that is the best I can say about the place. The sushi was so-so at best, the salmon in particular was cloudy and seemed too far gone to even try. The hot food selection was extensive but as previous reviewers noted many of the selections were cold. Last night the grilled salmon, the fried shrimp and the flounder all seemed to have been pulled from the fridge and put on the line. All in all I will not come here again and cannot recommend it to those who may read this review.

Not good food. I've learned that this area does not have a good selection of GOOD CHINESE FOOD. The sushi was good, it was small, which allowed me to try several dif options. The fried rice, lo mien AND me I fun had no flavor. The mei fun was extremely dry. The honey chicken was tough & tasted as though it had been dipped in table syrup. The chicken on a stick was tough and almost flavorless. The salt and pepper squid was good but slightly over cooked. The wontons even had a bland flavor. The bok choy was good but COLD! The BBQ chicken wings were actually very good, but only silightly warm at best-I had to dig all the way to the bottom of the pan to get slightly warm . I was very disappointed. The salt & pepper shrimp tasted very bland and unlike what salt & pepper shrimp should taste like. Overall, the good stuff was cold, the other was tough, and flavorless. I know for sure that I won't be back. The service wasn't rude, just stand offish until it was time to pay & she wanted to get a tip....I still tipped her. The sitting area was clean and quiet. I did notice some funny odors at random times in random places.

Yuck. All the food is cold and/or watery, salty, etc. (ex: cold edamame, soggy tilapia) DON'T LET THE DECOR FOOL YOU! It's a gorgeous place, very fancy. Also inexpensive. I waited until the next day after visiting to post my review (instead of posting it while still at the restaurant) because I figured it'd make my belly hurt--and it did. The service was ok. Overall, steer clear of this place.

The food that was good was really good. The food that was bad was really, really, really bad. The sushi and various buns were very nice. I could gorge myself on the red bean paste buns. However, their broccoli and cheese was one of the worst things I have ever eaten. My fiance had meat so tough it hurt to chew. Foods weren't switched out at all, and most was cold. I'm pretty sure some of the stuff was boxed, and the cheap boxed stuff. The staff we had were extremely friendly and helpful, but we won't be going back.

Well, upon entering this place I thought OMG! this has to be the absolute best buffet I've ever seen. It is very well organized with sushi in one wing, dessert/cold salad in another wing; hot fried foods on another buffet and hot not deep fried in yet another lane. I tried a dab of nearly everything and that's when sadness overwhelmed me. I'd call the food, generally speaking, marginal. The sushi rice is undercooked making it starchy - sad, because the sushi is well made and the area has a lovely little ginger, wasabi, chop stick area so all the accompaniments are right there for you. The chinese stuff is also lack luster. First off, there is a shortage of vegetables - there was a very nice bok choy stir-fry as well as the usual fried green beans and a beef with broccoli but that was it in the chinese department of cooking. There was jalapeno chicken (good), shrimp with cilantro (I don't like cilantro with shrimp) not good, fried shrimp (ok)... There really was a nice assortment of everything but qualitatively, the food was cool rather than hot and lacking in flavor. Hence, a disappointment overall. In the noodles department there were pot stickers - ok; rice in banana leaves with sweet bean stuffing - very interesting and nice - and two kinds of buns which I did not taste. The sesame buns with sweet bean stuffing were also good but cool rather than warm hence, a bit tough. Overall, this place has huge potential if the cooks get their act together.

Amazing array of food for your choice this review is for LUNCH. An Asian area with chick on a stick, some dim sum, salt and pepper calamari, rice 3 ways, noodles 2 ways, pot stickers, Bok Choy, green beans, chicken and broccoli , General Shu's chicken and more. Sushi galore the traditional American palate Sushi but 2 chefs rolling all day. The grill has salmon, baked BBQ wings, fried wings, pot roast, bourbon chicken veggies and more. Dessert is cookies and hand dipped ice cream. With a salad bar including regular items and boiled shrimp, crayfish and mussels lots to choose. If you get there just after 11 AM opening time of course all is fresh and as the lunch rolls along they refill. After 2:30 the quality might suffer or you can request items. So all this and more for $7.50 !!!!! You can't beat it!!!

I give it 5 stars for what it is, a really great Chinese Buffet with good Sushi. The selection is far better than most and the food was fresh. Very nice decor and a comfortable dining environment. Staff were prompt and professional. J&J

This place is consistently good. Lots of sushi and other Asian dishes. Service is good and friendly.

  • Robbie G.

I never do 5 stars but this place gets a 4.5 in my book. The bar is fresh and very big spread. The salad bar is like Japanese ginger salad but gives you options of more veggies. The Habachi is a little plain no flavor on the teriyaki chicken I got but the sushi was very fresh and plenty of selections. The decor here is crazy but this by far is my new favorite Chinese place to eat

  • Emma T.

Nice variety and great for taking Asian elders who struggle with a la carte. Good selection of veggies, sushi and a little American side. The sushi rice is decent most days but some days it's harder and less flavorful. The salmon sashimi always seems fresh. Lots of tables, baby friendly, and the waiters are meh. Every once in a while we get the good waiters who smile, are enthusiastic and refill our drinks with perfect timing. Bathrooms are always clean enough and that's great at a buffet. It's always busy and that works in our favor because more fresh buffet food gets put out.

  • Robert G.

Pacific Buffet is pretty much exactly what you'd expect it to be. Its essentially a Chinese buffet, that also happens to serve edible albeit sort of mediocre sushi. That being said, if you think a buffet is going to be the place where you find the holy grail of sushi, you're sorely mistaken. While, none of the food items are particularly great or exceptional if judged on their own individual merits (probably due to the sheer amount of choices available, limiting the time the cooks can spend on any one item), but as a whole package it is an indisputably good value for the money. For what it is, Pacific Buffet is a solidly decent place to eat if you want to eat your weight in slightly above average food for less than $15. I'm giving it four stars, because even if the food could be better, the sheer variety of choices means that just about anybody can find something they'll like.

  • John Z.

Walked in and the decor is nice, a bridge with koi under it is very enjoyable, hot dishes are fine, not great, but the sushi wasn't fresh, salmon looked slimy and there were some hard rice so might've been from earlier of the day, service was ok but the waiter wasn't friendly (maybe had a bad day)

    (2)
  • Brian P.

I'm a big fan. Great sushi and other options. Remember it's a buffet, so don't go 30 minutes before it closes and have unrealistic expectations. I promise if you visit during peak hours you will not be disappointed. I've been at least 25 times and have never had a bad experience.

  • Peter P.

A gargantuan panoply of choices - some good, some not so good. The sushi rolls are plentiful, although sloppily made and the nigiri were roughly cut and inartfully presented. The sake nigiri (salmon) was mushy and tasted as if it were frozen and thawed more than once. Finally, many of the rolls were slathered with a pinkish sauce that tasted as if it were mayonnaise mixed 50-50 with hot sauce. The "sushi buffet" seems more of an advertising gimmick than a well-presented portion of the offerings. Conversely, the Asian portion of the buffet was rather tasty, if pedestrian. Both the lo mein and the fried rice were tasty and escaped the greasiness common in bulk preparation of these sides. Most of the proteins were also well-cooked and it would be easy to make a satisfying meal without a visit to the sushi bar. A typical buffet restaurant, with acceptable food at a reasonable price, but skip the sushi if you have any respect for raw fish.

Lots of selections and their food gets to be refilled quite fast. It's clean but not quite my standard yet. Not bad though considering the amount of people that eat here. Waitstaff are attentive and friendly. Love their fried blue crabs and shrimp, just a tad bit salty for my taste. All in all, this is a good buffet place to go and the price is very reasonable. 10.99 on a Sunday brunch.

I went to Pacific buffet for lunch yesterday and was shocked when the bill came that we had to pay for our two year old! I have never been to a restaurant that charged for two year olds before! How cheap can you be? Apparently 8 year olds are considered adults too. Ridiculous pricing! My wife and I won't be eating here anymore.

I finally gave this place a try for today's lunch since we were in the area. I guess this place is somewhat like Nori Nori, except with a more extensive variety of hot items. The sushi is about as Americanized as it gets. Literally, every roll that I got had imitation crab meat in it. It was either crabmeat salad roll, crabmeat/cream cheese, spicy crabmeat salad, seaweed salad w/crabmeat, etcetera etcetera... I've honestly had better sushi. The salt & pepper squid was ok. Not enough flavoring on it as I would like though. The rest of the buffet items were ok. Nothing that really stood out. The egg custard tarts were cold....it wasn't under a heated lamp like at most places. They were shoved in a little cookie case. While the flavor was pretty good, they were just too cold. The ice cream was iced over. Sucks. Service was very attentive. Cleared our table plate after plate. & frequently refilled our drinks. No complaints on that, no rave either though. Overall, Pacific Buffet is just your average Americanized Chinese buffet with the simplest Americanized imitation crabmeat rolls. Is it worthy of a comparison to Nori Nori? In my opinion, I'd say no. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here nor will I recommend it.

Amazing !! I always have loved this place since the first time I went. Good variety of sushi and not bad quality for the prize. La verdad una buenisima opción de buffet de sushi en Marietta. Muy bueno para ser un restaurante tan economico.

  • Nida L.

Not bad. We eat here every now and then and its pretty consistent. The sushi is decent for a chinese buffet of course. I enjoyed the hibachi as I could see everything getting cooked. I loaded up on a lot of vegetables a little bit of chicken and some sushi that way I had very little room for the naughty stuff which they had plenty of. Its ordinary for the most part. I dont like the soup however. Never have, but its not a deal breaker. We recently went on Labor Day and they had a hand written dry erase that said Dinner all Day! Like it was a treat. No....they just knew it was a holiday and wanted to get full dinner price for a day they normally wouldn't make as much. Tisk Tisk.

  • Jason B.

They got Asian good buffet, American good buffet, sushi buffet, dessert buffet. What else could an American ask for. My personal favorite is the banana pudding. Go their for lunch and you won't need dinner.

    (4)
  • Mark N.

Yuck! Hardly anything edible and mostly greasy, fried yet flavorless food. If you're a quantity over quality eater, I suppose you'll like this place. They don't even have Chinese buffet standards such as pepper steak, beef broccoli, Kung Pao chicken, etc Also, the sushi is disgusting and all the choices taste the same. $12.50 for dinner on Saturday is a couple of bucks too high in my opinion. The workers will barge in front of you in the buffet line to 'clean'...dude, wait until I serve myself and then clean. Avoid if you know what good Asian food is supposed to taste like and even for a buffet, this place blows.

    (1)
  • Brittany W.

honestly as you can tell with the reviews its really hit ir miss, somedays the food is exceptional and other days it tastes like the soap wasnt rinsed out of the containers before used for serving.

Great chinese buffet. My favorite place for chinese in kennesaw to eat. Has a huge variety and it's always consistent. The only complaint is the hibachi grill needs someone to better maintain and sometimes things will run out on the buffet.

  • Linda I.

Great food. Suitable for different tastes from Chinese to western, and even a sushi bar. Excellent service and they accept special orders. Family atmosphere, overall a very pleasant experience. It is an all you can eat buffet so go hungry. They do have desserts and fruits to finish your dinner experience.

We came to this place today and they tried to charge my TWO YEAR OLD daughter for adult price buffet. I have eaten at this place since it opened and never seen anything like this happen before. Needless to say I will not be dining there again. They've lost a customer

Best buffet in Kennesaw! Weekday lunch prices are the best. Loved how we asked to make a certain sushi roll and they did! That's how to go above and beyond on customer service!

    (4)
  • Tom N.

Pretty good. It's huge inside. Lots of options, food seemed pretty fresh. The hibachi bar was the best part. Tons of sushi if that's your thing. It was 9.99 on a week night. It cost extra for a to go drink. There is no Wi-Fi. Before I could even post this review "that feeling" hit me... OMG I don't think I'll be back. Writing this from the privacy of my thrown.

Awesome Saturday lunch buffet for $8.99! They had a wide variety of sushi, Asian & American fare, and even a hibachi section. Their desserts are also great- ice cream, cookies, cream puffs, and cakes. I would definitely come back! It was a wonderful value. Let me also mention it was spotless and the wait staff were very attentive.

Ding, ding, ding- ladies and gentlemen, we have a WINNER in the cheap, don't set your expectations too high, Chinese (American) buffet category! Until I find one that I like better, this shall be my go to spot for Chinese buffet food. They've got EVERYTHING to choose from, and yes- plenty of seafood. Unlike Atlantic, they DO have dishes other than seafood which makes me very happy! Make sure you go around the hot food area to BOTH sides. There is a cold section and dessert section as well. I like beef and chicken dishes, and their pepper chicken is really good. They also have the best white spaghetti over on the American dish side that I've EVER had in LIFE! It's spaghetti noodles with this buttery, white, creamy Alfredo type of sauce and shrimp. I have no idea what they do to it, and I feel silly for filling up on it when I went there for Chinese food, but omg- it is SOOO good! They have delicious sushi! Further, they don't just have sushi rolls, they actually have NIGIRI sushi, and lemme tell you- the salmon nigiri is GOOD! Now. The SERVICE is either horrible or hilarious, depending on how you choose to look at it. First, when you walk in there is a BIG sign telling you that you can only stay TWO hours OR LESS. Lol! Who tells people exactly what time to vacate your restaurant? Pacific does. Next, do NOT bypass the hostess station and seat yourself if no one is at said hostess station. I did this, and when I asked my server for silverware and a drink, she YELLED at me, in the middle of the dining floor- "who you? where you sit? i don't even know where you sit. where your table?" Lastly, you are being WATCHED. Look UP and AROUND. There are spooky CAMERAS posted all over the ceilings in the DINING ROOMS!!! I got up to get something out of my car, but I clearly left things on the table that would indicate I wasn't done. When I approached the front door, after crossing the lake (yes, there is a pretty bridge and lake thing inside), I noticed a waiter was following me on the other side, hiding behind plants and ish. At this point, I stopped, and to see if my mind was playing tricks on me, I turned around, and stood in the foyer area and made a phone call. He stood on the other side! I was so tickled that he thought he was being stealth. He even pretended to look into the lake. Finally, when I bored of the game, I walked past him, said excuse me, went back to my table, got a clean plate, and resumed.'' Anywhoo, I like this spot, and until I find something better, this is where I'll be- probably every weekend!

  • Liz V.

In the land of all you can eat buffets, Pacific is the best. A sushi serving area greets you, 4 wing sections of other yummy choices are scattered around 3 dining rooms and a little frozen yogurt machine on the way out. Their Las Vegas roll, honey chicken, egg roll, fried donuts and Mongolian beef are just a few of my favorites. Great for large groups or 2 people. Just don't read the Food score on the way out. They don't refund money for getting exploding diarrhea.

13.99 Weekends and I THINK dinner evenings, 10.99 week days. Basically a great place for a good buffet. Comfy, felt like a restaurant not a corral. I went on mothers day (very busy) but nothing like the Golden Corral. That place is a ZOO! Pacific Buffet was nice. The chocolate dipped strawberries were huge and tasty. The sushi was perfect for myself, and at this price, I will be back when I want sushi! They had a nice fruit buffet, a fish and cold seafood area, shrimp etc.. They also had a "mongolian BBQ" area where you pick all your veggies, and which raw meat you want and they stir fry it right in front of you. If you are in the military, you will know just what I'm talking about. FUN. there is another buffet with the "chinese food, soup, egg rolls, chicken etc" and another side with pizza, roast beef you can slice, ice cream apple pie, etc. It was a nice experience. I would give it 5 stars but the lines on Mothers day were too long, the food on the chinese side was a bit bland (what I had but no different than ony other buffet I've been to) and I really didn't eat much so I would rather see the price point at 12.50. But, if you like buffets , you really can't go wrong. A nice change and for the price, I don't know any other buffet that is better near Kennesaw, GA.

I loved the sushi bar and the number of options were significantly better than what I'm used to. All the food was fresh and the environment was comfortable.

I really like coming here because you can get your money worth especially during lunch time, the servers are quick and courteous the food is always fresh and plentiful. I don't really like buffet style restaurants, but if can't decide between sushi, Chinese, habachi or American this is the place to come.

    (5)
  • Radoslav N.

An average buffet at best. There was a nasty fishy stench around the dining hall... The food was ordinary with the sea food mostly inedible.

Unbelievable sushi selection. Last time I went I just grabbed a plate and never got any farther than that. Im a HUGE fan of this place.

    (5)
  • Morgan S.

This was the worst buffet I've ever been to in my entire life. The mildew pond and tacky horse statues deceive you into thinking you're in for a great meal when in actuality this place is worse than crappy takeout. The food selection caters only to fat greasy meat eaters (it should be called meat buffet). Their huge so called american food was not needed considering it's a Chinese buffet!! The small selection of traditional Chinese items lacked flavor and the sushi bar was dedicated to those who just can't get enough of imitation crab and farm raised salmon. They're overpriced and the staff is rude and they don't listen. This place needs to be shut down...terrible. I did however enjoy the green beans so maybe that counts for something ha

    (1)
  • Caleb T.

Way better then Golden Corral. All the food was pretty good and the selection is good for the price. If your looking for a good buffet this is the spot. No complaints about the service either. I never had to ask for a refill which was great.

  • Jason L.

I have been here a few times. The first two times was average maybe a little below. The food is ONLY fresh when it's busy or else the food is always dry and dehydrated. The sushi is below average, uneven in size, not chilled, and DON'T eat the fry sushi if you don't want to feel sick. The fry sushi are usually leftover from the day before and fried and serve the next day. The waiters aren't very friendly.

    (2)
  • Andy L.

    Terrible. Buffet + Asian who-knows-what = gross.

    (2)
  • Trey F.

The food is good. My rating was increased because of the sheer amount of sushi options. I do not really eat anything off the buffet line and the mongolian bbq line is the best.

    (4)
  • J V.

Bang for your buck$. Probably one of the best buffet I have had, of course some of the items were just wrong but all that for $12.50 can't complain........ They also had a large selection of sushi. Wonder how they make money. Will be back one day.

  • Andrew S.

For the low price of this buffet, the food is amazing. A wide variety of fresh sushi as well as other seafood and the typical deep fried American cuisine. The staff was attentive, this place was clean, the atmosphere is relaxing. Definitely high end and high quality for an Asian Buffet. Worth the stop!

Fantastic, incredible Chinese buffet restaurant, with an endless buffet of delicious and nicely displayed choices. In addition to every conceivable type of Chinese food, they offer a sushi buffet, Mongolian BBQ, American food, and a dessert bar. We went on a weekday, and the all inclusive price was $10.99, which does not include your beverage. We had water, but I noted that their soft drink, beer and wine prices were very reasonable. The steam table was kept very hot, which is something many Chinese buffets cut down low to save on their utility bills. Not here though, all food was piping hot. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and clean. Service was outstanding. The buffet was kept very clean, as well. They also offer an excellent selection of fresh fruits and American style salads. Desserts included five choices of ice cream, cookies, cake, and tarts. The parking lot is huge, as it is part of the Walmart strip mall. Another plus is that all food is well marked, as to what it is. Overall, this is probably the best Chinese buffet restaurant in the metro Atlanta area.

Not impressed! Food bland, no flavor unless you use a sauce. Sure lots of different dishes but one tastes like the other. Think you are paying for the atmosphere cause the food isn't up to Chinese standards. Sorry my opinion.

I have been a loyal & consistent customer until today. When myself & a party of 3 gathered our 1st round of plates last night, 3 of us got crab. As we started esting, one of us noticed that the inside of the crab was BLACK! So naturally, I called the manager over to show him the food. His response was that he would go investigate. When he came back to the table, he apologized profusely saying that the crab was bad and he had them replace the whole batch. Fast forward, when it TV came time for the bill, they brought an undiscounted bill. I sgain asked for the manager and I guess the evening manager was there and the other had just left. When I told him the situation, he called the other manager on the phone and told him that we wanted the bill discounted for them serving us rotten food. He got off the phone and said, "He said he was sorry because he didn't want to argue, but we don't discount anything. " I (as well as everyone at my table) stared in amazement.... As he kept talking, he started becoming more and more sarcastic. With pure disgust, I finally couldn't take it anymore & dismissed him from our table. I'm posting this so ALL the people I've referred here can know what they may have to deal with in the future & wanted to warn you. CHECK YOUR FOOD!!! ESPECIALLY your seafood!!!!!!!!! Also, do NOT expect normal customer service because there is NONE!!!!!

I love this place. We only come here when my boyfriend's family wants to treat us out, but every time they say let's go, we never turn it down! We came an hour before closing this time around, and everything was still fresh, and they were still making new batches of everything! Even the sashimi was pretty fresh and good. The crawfish were nice and warm but could of used a bit more flavor. The soups are delicious, the clams are amazing, and the ice cream adds a nice touch to the end of scarfing down 4-5 plates worth of food. I never leave this place dissatisfied, and service is excellent here! Overall, this is one of the only Asian buffets we go to, even if it's a 40 minute drive for us. We always find it worth it!

  • Anissa L.

Better than other Chinese/American buffets around. It's my new favorite only because I find fresh (as in just cooked) food on the buffet at 2:30 in the afternoon. My former favorite is falling fast because I rarely find fresh food unless I come during peak hours, get something from the "create your own" stir fry area or wait a while for fresh food to come out. Pacific Buffet cooks smaller portions more often except for popular items which go quickly. Their sushi bar looks great and has a larger selection than all other buffets around. Salads are nice too. Deserts are so-so but they do have great ice cream. A nice value for lunch - buffet, tip and water for less than $10. I don't mind drinking water because, like most Chinese places, the food is salty.

It's about the best Asian buffet you will find for the price. The sushi seems a little better than most places, but still not high quality. It really makes me angry that every time I come here I have to stand by the raw oyster station and beg everyone to put raw oysters out. I have to stand there for at least 10 minutes and let them know I am not going anywhere. It is so annoying that I've quit coming here OH and the low 80's health score .

Impressive selection. The place has massive scale for a restaurant in Atlanta. They have a crazy amount of food options as they have blown up the number of options available in an "Asian" buffet to the ultimate extreme. Nothing spectacular in quality of food but they go through a lot so the throughput was good. This place is a food machine.

I come here for lunch about 3 or 4 times a month. The sushi is pretty average. Not fantastic, but not bad. There's very little variety - most rolls are a variation of a California roll or a Bagel roll. I do love their Chinese food buffet, and regularly grab as many vegetables as I can. They being said, it's also just pretty average food. The servers are hit or miss. Since it's a buffet, their job for the most part is to keep beverage glasses filled, and that doesn't always happen. Basically, this place is a great price if you need to fill a craving, but nothing about the restaurant particularly stands out.

I don't know why I haven't written a review for this place yet. I've been coming here every so often for a few years now, so I guess if anything, I can write a comparative review on my opinion of this place over time. The first couple of times I've been here, I was impressed -- from the waterfall, fish pond, statues, to the food. Service is typically excellent. There's a pretty big variety of foods, from sushi, American, Chinese, Korean, etc. Everyone I go with always starts off with at least a plate or two of their sushi, most of which are cooked and are different combinations of two or three ingredients. They have a hibachi option, where you pick what you want and they cook it fresh for you. This definitely beats the food that has been sitting out at the rest of the buffet. As for all the other stuff, I don't have many good things to say. (The following is based on my LAST visit.) The clams were gritty, the crawfish had absolutely no flavor, the soups were bland, and everything else was really oily. You could tell that all the fruit had been previously frozen because they tasted really.. watery? With almost no taste to them at all. The cream cheese rangoon were SUPER sweet, while the egg custard wasn't sweet at all, and the ice cream.. is, well, ice cream. You can't really mess that up! Lol. I only come when the bf wants to stuff his face at a buffet (since this one is down the street from us), there's a car meet nearby, or the boys want to hold their lunch/dinner meeting here. This place, sadly, has gone on a steady decline since I first started coming. And is it just me, or did the prices go up recently? I could be wrong though.

I've been going to this place for around 1.5 years. In the beginning the food was tasty and fresh. As of late, it doesn't really matter whether lunch or dinner, the food is not as fresh. The place has a horrible smell inside of it now. Last time we were sat in a booth that the seats were ruined on. Instead of replacing it they put a giant piece of tape on it. Getting a drink refill when this place is busy is next to impossible. I don't visit here anymore. The smell causes me to lose my appetite immediately.

Service was good... Food cold and had no flavor..sushi had a funky smell... Fried soft shell crab was ok...if you go make sure everything you eat is fried.

I've been here a couple times and I must say it's the best CHEAP buffet I have been to in the Atlanta Metro. I put emphasis on the word cheap because Nori Nori of course is my favorite buffet in town. Anyways, Pacific Buffet offers a large variety of different Asian and some American cuisine. The sushi is OKAY at best. I'm kind of a sushi snob though so I'm very particular about my sushi. But I don't know what possesses the sushi makers at Pacific Buffet to put BREAD CRUMBS and a syrupy sauce on their sushi, it makes no sense to me. Sushi is suppose to be healthy, light, raw, and fresh. At least that is how I prefer my sushi to be. But I guess the way they make their sushi appeals more to the less sophisticated palate of most Americans. I don't even bother with their sushi anymore because of it's high caloric value I might as well eat the general tso chicken and mongolian beef. Pacific Buffet has good crablegs on the buffet too which you can get for a small upcharge. The ambiance of the restaurant is really nice for a buffet stlye restaurant and the waterfall when you first come in is very unique and different. The fish in the pound are beautiful too. Even though Pacific Buffet is about a 35 minute drive from where I live it's worth the drive when I want to fill up on cheap good Amercanized Chinese food.

Definitely a watered-down Crazy Buffet (located in Tampa). Decor is more or less the same. The price was not bad at all. Very cheap for lunch. There is plenty of variety. Sushi was okay for a buffet. The hibachi was pretty neat. Note that spicy is VERY spicy. Overall, the place was okay, but I've had better from a buffet. The price is what makes this place stand out. But, as another Yelper wrote, you go here for quantity not quality. Also, if you order water, make sure to ask for a glass and not a styrofoam cup, they smell a bit like trash.

This is the best buffet I've been to in the Kennesaw area. It has a large fresh sushi selection that doesn't just sit there like other places but there are sushi chefs preparing it right behind the sushi bar. They also have a hibachi area where you can choose ingredients such as eggs, meats, vegetables to put on a plate and a cook will prepare it in front of you. I usually go during lunch which is not so busy and no lines. Yesterday I went during Saturday night dinner and there were lines longer than I would have liked. I really like the coconut shrimp they have which is only available during dinner. Some different sections.. salad, BBQ meats, fruit, southern food, soup, fried foods (chicken, fries, onion rings, crab Rangoon) they have crawfish, steamed flounder or other fish depending on the night, clams, mussels.. For dessert ice cream, cheesecake, brownies and cookies, the cheesecake is not the cheesecake from the grocery store. I don't like it but my sister is a fan. Just a good selection and good service as well. The counters and area around the food is always kept clean with no drippings or anything.

Do not come here looking for Sushi. They have a lot of the "Americanized Sushi" with same three ingredients just mixed differently and with sauces on it to make it look different. The style and decor of the restaurant is cool. They have some decent hot food on the buffet. But it is just that, a buffet. Quantity not Quality. A little overpriced as well.

Man, my friend and I came back to this place and it had a cardboard sign advertising m-th dinner ( w/o crablegs) for 9.99; price incl tea. So, it's cheaper eh?? Well, guess what, the uno dinero discount equals to less tasty food. The sushi bar was a thumbs down. I hate artificial crab meat. It's just starch and discarded seafood; ie, the hotdogs of seafood. There was even cost-cutting w/ the seaweed salad; there were chopped lettuce added to the seaweed salad. what a fail. The hot foods is standard Asian buffet. There's an American foods section that incl roast beef, mac and cheese and shite I don't care for. The two ( ok, three) main reasons I go to Asian buffet are for sushi, crawfish, and oysters (sometimes). Two of the three failed. They do have a pretty solid selection of "Chinese" cuisine. I really should give this place a three just because it's pretty standard buffet now,but last time I came here, I issued it an A-Ok. It's definitely gone a bit downhill. At least the service here is great.

Before I defend my 3 stars review, let me state one thing: For the price, the food is okay. But if I'm disregarding the cheap price of the buffet, then I have to judge harshly. The sushi selection was big, but the aesthetics and the flavor of the sushi wasn't up to par. The sushi was very simple. For example, the rolls only contained cream cheese with avocado, or salmon with cream cheese. The Chinese food selection was very "Panda Express"; definitely not authentic. The snow crab legs were good, though. That probably boosted up a star. Yay. The service was fine, & the environment of the restaurant was decent. But I've had GOOD Chinese food that only cost 10 dollars (or less!) & I was just as full as I was at the buffet. So I can't justify giving any more than 3 stars to this restaurant.

This is my all time favorite restaurant in Kennesaw and to tell the truth, the whole state of Georgia! First impression that you will notice is the beautiful atmosphere inside. It's absolutely gorgeous inside and super clean! This restaurant has everything that Asian food lovers want and it is also perfect for people that want American food. They have a huge, beautiful koi pond inside with a bridge! They have an excellent sushi selection, the best in the area. They have great hibachi also. You must try their egg drop soup, it's so delicious and more authentic than most. Also you must try what they call "bun" over by the soups. It is smooth and white with a yellow filling and it is so good. It's a popular Asian treat. Many Asian people frequent this restaurant due to it's authenticity. This restaurant is a great value for lunch with the amount of variety they have. I have to say it's a bit pricey for dinner but still cheaper than you would pay at most restaurants and buffets in the area. Go to this restaurant over any other, you will absolutely love it!

  • Mark S.

Down graded. They caved to the pressure and started Americanizing their buffet. Had this awesome octopus salad, now it is done with overcooked shrimp. All the good food is now gone.........which sucks. On a side note, I now know without a shadow of a doubt at what point a chinese buffet loses what made it so great.......it is when you see the first tear in the Naugahyde in one of the booths. If the rip is covered in duct tape, run away even faster.

The food here is consistently fresh and good. This is the largest buffet of its kind that I have ever been to, and it has an impressive variety. The sushi is good for a buffet (I generally stick to the avocado and fake crab varieties) and I love the sweet and sour chicken. There's something for everyone - ginger salad, fried shrimp, a variety of soups, and a number of traditional Chinese dishes. I was recently in another part of town and got stuck trying a different Chinese buffet and found, by comparison, that Pacific Buffet definitely has better quality food with more flavor than most of the buffets you will find around town. Definitely worth a visit. The service is always fast and attentive, too - my water glass stays full.

I enjoy coming to this place about once a month on business, as you cannot beat the price and selection. i am not a sushi person, so I cannot comment on the sushi bar, thought people often tell me it is "ok, not great," but there are a lot of options here. I am a relatively picky eater, so not as adventurous as some, since there are a LOT of things on the buffet-like setup that I would avoid just because I am not sure what it is. Expect to go on a sort of Easter egg hunt with some of the items. they have added a Mongolian-style cooking area where you select a meat and some mix-ins, and they cook everything together for you (think of a smaller version of The Big Chow Grill). I always get the ice cream, which is tasty. I also love the honey chicken, calamari, fruit bar, edamame, pizza, and soups. You CAN eat here in a healthy way, but it would be very tempting to try other things, so I would avoid it if you are on a strict diet or have extreme food allergies, in case there is any crossing of foods. Be aware that the prices for the All-You-Can-Eat are different on the weekend, as I was not aware of this before, but I still feel it is the best deal out there for the price and selection. The place is large and decorated nicely, thought the entrance can smell a little fishy because of the indoor ponds, but I was not as put off by it as some people have mentioned. I would be if the dining area smelled fishy, but I have never had issues with anything here. the service can be a bit slow when it is very crowded, and servers are quick to remove your plate, even if you are not finished, so just make sure to tell someone at your table to reserve your plate if you go back for more, or you may have your plate removed.

we went here on a saturday night around 6:00 so we beat the dinner rush. this place is SO kitschy with its decor, but it all works for them. it's HUGE inside and they had just about anything you could want. crawfish (boiled/fried), sushi, salad bar, create-your-own stir fry, all the typical chinese food you would expect, 3 kinds of soups, an american food area w/ mashed potato, chicken wings/fingers, mac & cheese, self serve ice-cream etc. we did three plates and were stuffed, but still found room for dessert (a small piece of cake, ice-cream & fresh fruit) the service was efficient and the food was decent especially for the price. we will go back, for sure!

This is an excellent family option, while the food is not anything that will set the culinary world ablaze, the options they have are well prepared and the place is busy enough that the steam trays are emptied and refilled before anything gets gross. Sushi is typical fare, there are a good selection of salads and deserts, and it is less crowded than others of it's ilk. Bonus points for the fish decor and friendly staff.

What do you expect from a buffet? I, for one, don't expect a fine dining experience. My hopes are cleanliness, variety and a good price...this place delivers on all of it. It really has a nice look as well but not a date place. Then again, if you are taking a date to a buffet you might be dating infrequently anyway. A+ for what it is!

Largest selection I have ever seen compared to it's sister Atlantic Buffet! Prices are always great, sushi and food is truly fresh and the staff is awesome. To me they make some of the BEST kings sushi roll and its highly decorated! This place is big enough for many people so bring everyone along!

We love Pacific Buffet because of the selection. We aren't really sushi eaters, so the sushi complaints although believable didn't really matter to us... The rest of the food is OK. They do have FRESH hibachi ingredients that you pick and they cook. That definitely makes up for the food that tastes not so fresh (including some strawberries that looked fresh that didn't taste so fresh--odd). Definite star loss for the confusion about pricing. My daughter is TEN. I repeat TEN years old. When we went the other day we told the hostess one adult and two kids. She said "How old is she?" I told her TEN. The hostess wrote down two adults and one kid. Humph. When we got the check, it said two adults and one child 7-TEN!!!! Ummmmmmmm...TEN is TEN no matter how you repeat it. I told my server and she corrected it immediately. I gave her the difference in tip. She was really quick to pick up a full glass of spilled water...like immediately quick. And she took our dishes almost like she had a camera on our table watching us finish a plate. Of course, we will be back.

I've been here multiple times. This is by far my favorite Asian buffet in the area. But at the same time, you need to remember this is a CHEAP buffet. Lunch is around $7, dinner is around $9 during the week (I think $12 on the weekend). I believe crab legs adds an extra $4 to your meal. Pros: a very large amount of choices. From American food, like ribs, macaroni and cheese, and pizza, to traditional chinese food, including tons of hot food and at least four kids of soup, to a TON of cheap sushi, like you would find at any other cheap sushi buffet. They also have salad, oysters, shrimp, mussels, and a bunch of desserts. The restaurant used to be a seafood restaurant, so a lot of the decor is what was there previously. It's pretty nice on the inside, and has a surprisingly nice bathroom. Cons: Consistency. Sometimes it'll be fabulous, and other times it's just so-so. Bottom line: If you know it's just run of the mill Asian, and you're happy with that, then you'll be happy every time. For the price, we always leave happy.

Listen, let's level with each other here: there is no such thing as a classy buffet. Let's just face the facts. Buffets are for people who want to spend only a little money and eat a lot of food - foods that bring to mind words like "carbs" and "bloated" and "heat lamps". If you go into a buffet expecting the quality you find at more high-end establishments (i.e. the kind that cost more than $11.99 for a meal), where the dishes are "gourmet" or at least "digestible", you will be sorely disappointed. That being said, I love me a good buffet. I'm not above it - they're fantastic. And as far as buffets go - this is a good one. They have a great variety of foods and they do a good job rotating out the trays to keep everything fresh. I saw some complaints in some of the reviews about the sushi bar, and I really need to go ahead and disagree. First of all - it's a SUSHI BAR. AT A BUFFET. That never happens! Sure, it's not the best sushi ever - but they have a surprising number of rolls, complete with sauces, and the sushi was fresh. I eat a lot of sushi and I'm telling you guys - it's not bad there. 7 out of 10. The rest of the food was typical buffet fare - they had all of the standard Asian and American selections, from fried rice to wonton soup to chicken wings to pizza, and more. For a little extra you can add on unlimited crab legs, which aren't my cup of tea but if you like 'em, go for it. They have plenty of dessert selections to round out your disgusting, fattening, delicious meal. It's a big space and never felt crowded, even at the height of the Sunday lunch hour. This is by far the best buffet we've found around Marietta - will definitely be back.

You go to this place for quantity, not quality! I'm not bashing the place for saying that. But, come on folks, this is what the place is about. It's got a bit of everything. And everything tastes pretty good. But, if you're going there expecting fine dining sushi, you are going to be disappointed. We liked it. It serves it's purpose. Decent unlimited food at a decent price. Oh wait, seems like they had a sign above the register that said "please limit your visit to two hours". So, I guess it's not really unlimited. ;)

This is probably one of the better buffets in the metro area. Usually the food isn't very fresh, the stuff they call sushi looks 3 days old, etc. At this place they have a water fall and a pond with koi; a cute, if tacky, touch. The food selection is pretty big, a lot grilled meats, standard chinese dishes, and a few american items as well, like pizza and mac and cheese.. Though if you're going to a chinese buffet, I don't see why you'd be eating mac and cheese.. The thing that stands out most for me is the sushi. They have a pretty big selection that's pretty fresh. At least as fresh as say RuSan's. Mostly rolls, a few fried rolls, and nagiri, usually the fake crab, salmon, and tuna. This is usually what I go for. They also have several different kinds of ice cream, some cakes, and lots of fruit. Most of the stuff they have is pretty standard to a chinese buffet, but it's all done well, and the sushi is surprisingly good. Definitely worth a try at 11.99 for dinner!

Went on a Saturday afternoon. Long lines waiting .. the receptionist was not knowing what she is doing.. which station has tables .. she just knew how to get our names down on a piece of paper.. got seated after 15 - 20 mins.. the whole sushi bar was empty .. we had to wait for new sushi to be made.. there were lines everywhere.. most of the food was not replenished fast enough to meet with the demand.. so we ended up using most of our dining time waiting for food to be replenished at the buffet spread. and waiting in line. I was telling myself that waiting is quite normal for buffet style dining on a Saturday night.. but what I think was bad is that the waiter did not clear our dirty plates, we had to ask for our more ice water.. and worst of all a 2 friends of mine experienced food poisoning the next morning. After our visit on that unfortunate day, several of my friends who went on separate days also developed food poisoning . it ranged from mild diarrhea to serious throwing up and diarrhea at the same time. I am not sure whether this is pure coincidence or really has something to do with the food in the restaurant.. but one ting for sure, we are not going to dine-in at this place in the foreseeable future.

Decided to take the family here for a quick bite, we were all craving Chinese and were in the area... Boy what a mistake this was... The service here has declined drastically since my last visit. Didn't matter what waitress came to our table, trying to get them to understand the difference between unsweetened and sweet tea confounded the teetotal crap out of them. Also, we had to wait quite a long time just to get a refill, and it was warm tea with no ice, strike two... The food Saturday (9/4/10) was either burned to a charcoal state or not completely cooked. Several pieces of chicken that I managed to pick out of the soupy mess of Gen Tso's they claimed to be turned out to be pink in the middle. The dumplings were a charred sticky mess that would have been better off being analyzed by a CSI crew to figure out what the hell they did to them. Almost everything was heavily over-laden with onions. I like onions, but damn, this was more like "would you like some rice with your onions?" Not to mention the fact that the place was a complete disaster. Yes I can understand it's a holiday weekend, but there were enough idle hands running around there that someone could have picked up a broom and a dustpan and swept up some of the piles of food left on the floor by the throng of inhumane mouth-breathers that were there that evening. Plates stacking up on tables with people trying to eat, waitresses completely ignoring them as they passed by, just sheer inattentiveness and lack of care overall. I won't be going back...

Don't come here for sushi. Their sushi is disgusting, and not even palatable. Their Chinese food on the buffet is halfway decent, and the rest of their food is just "meh." On the flip side, if you ask the cooks at the grill, they will make you fresh quesadillas, fajitas, etc. The last time I was there, the fajita I ate was absolutely delicious, and perfect in every way. Without that fajita, Pacific Buffet would get a 1 from me. If you want REAL sushi, go to Nori Nori. Even Ru Sans is way better than this place. If you are looking for a run-of-the-mill, crappy buffet, this is the place for you.

Where do I begin? We moved here from NY and have been in search of good Chinese food at a great price. Unfortunately, we wasted a lotta cash until we found the Pacific. This place is fantastic! Even better than our favorite place in NY which I thought was impossible. Another reason now that I'm glad I moved to GA. You will be impressed upon arrival with the statues, waterfalls and pond Koi that are Huge and very well maintained. Very impressive if your treating someone to dinner at a value price. Once inside you will first notice a vibrant huge Sushi bar for those of us that love Sushi, it was as fresh and as bursting with flavor as it gets :) This place has a Hibachi grill, load your dish up with your favorites and have it cooked fresh while you watch. The extensive food areas continue throughout this enourmous restaurant. Foods like Fried Calimari, stuffed crab, shrimp, all the chinese as well as american favorites. The hot and sour soup is the best around. After dinner you will find Fresh scoop your own "real" ice cream, not gluey/nasty looking as other places. very clean. Cheese cake, cookies, mini custard pies & lots of fresh fruits. I am very fussy about rest rooms and try not to use them. I have to say that this was clean beyond my expectations. The walls and tile were granite/marble for a beautiful look and great for proper cleaning. We went for a Sunday Dinner and it was so delicious I had to go back the next day for lunch which was just as wonderful. You will not regret trying the Pacific Buffet. This will definately be one of our new go to places for a low cost wonderful dinner or lunch! Enjoy:)

The other reviewer was right, this place really does have everything...your standard American-Chinese foods like sweet and sour chicken, General Tso's, lo mein, etc. But they also have more traditional chinese foods in there as well, mainly in the dessert section. The seafood selection is expansive; crab legs, mollusks, calamari prepared several different ways, crayfish, salmon, the list goes on. Basically if you come here wanting something, there's a good chance they'll have it. They've even got pizza and mac and cheese but it honestly didn't look too appetizing. As for dessert, you've got puddings, jello, fruit, don tao (sp?) - a chinese egg custard, red bean buns, and the ice cream is Blue Bell, not the generic brown tub with a picture of a cow you got in elementary school. The sushi was great. Not just good for a buffet, but actually really good. I was a bit surprised. I usually don't expect much from buffet sushi but the selection and quality rivaled other sushi bars I've been to. Me and some friends went on a Sunday and the bill for each of was 11.65 after tax (water to drink). Easily the best deal I've seen in a while considering the amount of food you get and the quality. I'll definitely be coming back regularly.

The buffet is very large in size and has a number or different styles of food but the food is your typical Asian takeout, nothing special. I am critical of Sushi as its possibly my favorite meal. I did not like the sushi here. It seemed to sit out a long time. Trays that were full when I arrived still had the same sushi when I left. I suggest paying a little more for fresh cut sushi somewhere else.

I gotta say I was very surprised at the selection of items at this restaurant. It was definitely more than just your standard chicken and rice establishment. In addition to the chicken and rice, there's alot to choose from such as Beef, fish, ham, pork, chicken, spare ribs, mashed potatoes, macaroin and cheese, and there's even Pizza and Garlic Bread. There's a great selection of squid and sushi to round out the buffet experience. There's also a wide variety of fruits and desserts to close out the meal. As a bonus, there's a TV for all you sports fans out there to watch the big game during your meal. The only downside to all this is that if you want crab legs, that's $4 extra to your meal. The wide variety of items will suit anyone's appetite and it will keep me coming back for more.

I've been to a good number of chinese buffets around Atlanta and for the price this is one of the best. It's kind of like Atlantic on Cobb Pkwy but a little better. They have a good variety of sushi, raw oysters, grilled meats, the normal chinese choices as well as crab legs. The quality of the sushi is better than Rusan's but it's definitely not going to be as good as Nori Nori. They just recently started charging extra if you want crab legs but the buffet by itself is 10.99 on weeknights. I always tell myself I'm never coming back here cuz I eat so freakin much and feel like complete shit after but somehow I always end up back here.

So my husband and I wanted a change of scenery and we decided to drive all the may to good ole' Marietta. I have decided that I don't like buffets. The layout reminded me of Golden Corral. Dinner for Friday night was $13.99. So they went up $1 within a couple of weeks of Joe L's experience. The place was pretty busy when we arrived at 8:00. The sushi was mediocre. A lot of cream cheese filled and fried rolls. The names of the item were hand written with a marker on the glass shield. Many of the serving utensils were not replaced with clean ones like other places. I think the low sodium soy was watered down from the regular bc it was very light in color. The water type containers that they are in aren't too attractive. They really need to be on the tables. The oysters were stacked on top of one another, so they weren't cold. They also were not fresh bc they tasted fishy. Luckily, I didn't get sick. The crackers also tasted stale. Crab legs were good, but you have to get them when the server puts them out or you will get the ones sitting in water. So basically, I ate crab legs, and a couple of rolls. I probably got my $ worth from the crab legs. I didn't try any of the hot foods. For dessert they had 6 different flavors of ice cream which you have to scoop out. Lots of fruit, like watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew melon, grapes, pineapple, kiwi, and muscadines. Your usual pastries of cookies, brownies, cakes, and pudding. The service was okay, but I don't think I will be back.

I'm so reluctant sometimes to go to Asian buffets, but I'm so glad I decided on this! The food here is amazing. I like that they have times posted on the food that says when it was put out and when it will expire. Everything here tastes so fresh and the decor inside and outside is beautiful. A wonderful dining experience.

We decided to try this place recently (on a recommendation from a friend) after having been extremely loyal to the Hibachi Buffet in Marietta for a long time. This place isn't bad although I think that if I have any say in the decision, I would rather drive the extra distance to the Hibachi. However, this place does have a much larger sushi selection if you are into sushi. They have large quantities of food (including some non-asian stuff) although it didn't feel to me like they had the variety of some other places that we go to. Also, the service wasn't as friendly as we have become accustomed to. They kept our water glasses full but little else. We get a lot more attention at some other buffets that we frequent. The wife disagrees with me, but I think they are a little pricier than some other comparable buffets. Overall, not bad if you like buffet's that have a large sushi selection, the rest of it is ok but nothing to get excited about.

I love Pacific Buffet I didn't like sushi until I was introduced to it here. I love that there are so many choices they have. I can try as many sushi as I like.

What's not to like? The place has loads of atmosphere from the twin snow white stallions cast in cement to the covered bridge and waterfall as you first walk through the door. This is a sister restaurant to the Atlantic Buffet and Grill on Cobb parkway. The buffet was only $10.99 on a Sunday for lunch and just like Atlantic buffet the food was varied and quickly prepared and replaced. The sushi bar has some items I haven't seen in a proper sushi bar. A carve it yourself roast beef, plenty of grilled selections fresh seafood, although I still haven't had the fortitude to try the oysters even though we went right at noon, however they also have fresh boiled shirmp, crawfish, mussels and more. The wait staff is quick and friendly. Overall a good cheap place to eat for good quality food I can't even imagine coming here after a night at the bar. The food line would be demolished.

Definitely a satisfactory buffet. A little generic, but satisfactory. I was here in GA on vacation back in March and we decided to come to Pacific Buffet for our Asian food fix. It had a VERY nice decor. There is a grand entrance with a bridge and a waterfall on the side with a little lake at the bottom with large fish swimming in it. The food had all the typical Asian buffet choices which were decent and hot and fresh. I was highly impressed with the sushi choices. Not being a huge fan of sushi, the only ones I ever found appealing and edible were the vegetable or fish ones. And they were good. A little too creamy for my taste but still nice. Customer service was excellent. On a random note, I was surprised at the Asian population in Georgia. I never knew it was so large. But they were great! And Marietta is equally nice and such a diverse city. I would definitely come back to Pacific Buffet. I would try different foods and force myself to eat some different sushi. The dessert was good too. Simple nice ice cream choices. Cookies were really good as well. I was so full after eating so much food, I couldn't eat much more so I made sure to take some of those brownies and cookies and wrap it in a napkin to eat at the hotel later. Haha

I thought the variety of the sushi/nigiri/sashimi definitely justifies the price of the buffet (at least 18 different types?). I didn't seem to get as many of the cream cheese ones that some people may have got It _is_ your typical Chinese buffet, so I'm not sure why some reviewers are expecting high class food, but it was pretty good and definitely had a bunch of food for everyone. I especially liked their selection of fruit (watermelon, strawberries, muscadines, etc) and found all of it to be fresh. However, some of the food was a bit old tasting.

They've increased their sushi selection since my last visit. All 4 sides of the buffet are sushi rolls. They've stopped pre peeling the shrimp...bummer...but the steak skewers are tender and tasty. They started chopping up their scallops, but I guess I can't complain too much.

As far as Chinese buffets go, this was not what I was hoping for. The decor, service and food variety was good, but the food quality left much to be desired. One exception here was the sushi which I really enjoyed (hence the three stars instead of two.) I found the majority of the food under seasoned or improperly cooked (either over or under cooked on many dishes). It isn't that food was all that bad, it just wasn't that good either. For me, the cornerstone of a good Chinese restaurant is their hot and sour soup; I didn't find this one too appealing. Great atmosphere, friendly service; food needs attention.

Went in for a $9.99 Sunday "brunch" special that ran pretty much all day. They had several separate sections: the generic fried buffet stuff, sushi of varying sizes and healthiness, and barbeque/hibachi. When I went in on a week night, the last section was closed. Sushi was not terrible. Hibachi tasted just salty with not much flavor. It's filling and cheap, and the options are more diverse than what you'd find at Golden Coral (presumably, haven't been there in years). But by no means is it Nori Nori. I'm not much of a buffet person... makes me feel gluttonous and sinful. But go for it if you are an indiscriminate, hungry eater. Don't plan on an all-day picnic though because they apparently have a 2 hour limit.

NO BUENO. Lots of food but it doesn't taste good. My first round I ate a ton of sushi. After my hunger was satiated, I was able to taste the food. Sushi was bland. Crab cakes in the shell contained no meat at all - it was all breading. Hot and Sour soup tasted funny. Grilled fish was hard and not tasty. Even the cookies did not taste good. From first glance, you would think this place was awesome, as I did. Based on what I said in the first paragraph, if you're hungry and you don't care about taste, then this place is for you. If you have a palet for good food, then this is NOT the place for you. Me personally, I will not be back.

If you like Chinese buffets, you MUST come here. And when you walk in... HOLLY MOLLY THEY HAVE A WATERFALL!! A few people have compared this place to Nori Nori, but personally, I feel that that is an apples to oranges comparison. For one thing, this is a Chinese buffet, not a Japanese one, so the hot food is the main focus. They just happen to do sushi pretty well for a Chinese buffet. So if you want to get your sushi AYCE on, Prices: Weekday lunch: $8.99 dinner: $10.99 Weekend all day dinner: $12.99 Holidays: $11.99 When I walked in, the first thing I thought was HOLY SH!T. I'm paying like 20 dollars a person. Seriously. For $13 a person on a weekend night, the food here is a bargain. This buffet is massive, and most of the dishes here are really well made. The sushi was plentiful (a lot of rolls and maybe 6 types of nigari), the hot food section was GINORMOUS, and the dessert section was about as American as it could be. The nigari was pretty good, but the slices of fish were a little bit small. However, the rolls (while still not as good as Nori Nori) were the bomb. The Dynamite Roll and the spicy tuna roll which was topped with cubes of marinated tuna were literally flavor bombs. Pacific had a large variety of well made rolls, the majority of which had some sort of fried flakes or tempura in them. My non Asian friends especially liked the tempura roll filled with tuna and cream cheese. Despite the variety of sushi here, the hot food was definitely the star, and boy did it shine. Pacific literally had every food a person could ask for in a buffet plus the regular assortment of American food (pizza, mac and cheese, fries, etc). Notables to me: fresh oysters sautéed clams and mussels crawfish (both cold and boiled in a delicious broth) snow crabs (which were NOT over salted in my experience) fried blue crabs, sea bass (DELICIOUS and in LARGE chunks) ribs (char siu style, super tender and moist, passed the bite and pull test easily) steak (super flavorful and not tough at all) salmon (literally the best I have ever had at a buffet) To me, my favorite hot courses were definitely the ribs (I literally had a whole rack of ribs there), salmon and the sea bass. Those three dishes. The ribs were easily the standout, being the best I have ever had at a non BBQ oriented buffet (yes, including the Bellagio and Wynn in Vegas). "Oh sh!t" was the first thing I said when I ate my first bite of salmon. "damn" was my friend's reaction. It was so juicy, so tender, and full of so much flavor. It was effing rediculous. The dessert selection here is no slouch either. Mud pudding (chocolate with oreo crumbs in it), and banana pudding topped my list. The banana pudding especially stood out to me because its so rare to have it at a buffet. Not only that, but it GOOD. Not as good as your best BBQ joints in Atlanta, but better than your average BBQ place. And remember, this is an Asian buffet. They also had cookies, cheesecake, chocolate and carrot cake, apple pie, and 4 flavors of ice cream (pistacio, chocolate, mint chocolate chip, strawberry, but NO VANILLA). Like other reviewers said, what is there not to like here? Everything is either competitive with or better than other comparatively priced buffets. To me, the combination of variety and quality of food here along with the ridiculously cheap price earns this place 5 stars. WOW. Just wow.
