It's always a treat for me when I get to go to this Brazilian grocery store. Its a small store in the Mink's plaza off of Delk Rd, and yet they still manage to get a grocery section, a fresh meat section, a cafe section and an area for anything else invloving customer service needs like wiring money, selling CDs & DVDs, clothes ect. They even have their own scratch off lottery tickets! Although you can still play the GA lottery there too. I dont even dare buy any clothing from there though...brazilian women tend to be on tiny side, so I couldn't fit anything... I used to live down the street from this place and I would come here for lunch all the time. They now have a buffett, and a kitchen in the back with a fried snack area that you can choose from (and there is an area with tables that is nice a spacious that you can sit and enjoy your food). You can get all kinds of Brazilian imports like wine, chocolate, canned items, cleaning products...and so much more. The staff is always nice, and helpful (to a certain degree...I dont speak portugeese) so whenever I have a question I have to get one of the few english speaking employees that work there to help me, but I never have a problem with that. I dont know why it is described as being in metro Atlanta, because this place is in Marietta...

I really love Minas, it is different from the Brazilian Bakery, but I love it. Really great buffet and the beans are yummy! I always buy the passion fruit mousse and passion fruit nectar, so I can TRY and make it at home! authentic!

This must be legitimately Brazilian because everyone there was speaking Portuguese. We weren't really sure how to order so we ended up just getting a buffet take out box, two items from the bakery, and a juice. The cashier didn't speak English so we kind of just went with the flow...Food was great. Super filling, but I definitely would not be opposed to going back! I'd share further what items I liked but I really have no idea what dishes are specifically called. Worth a try!

This is a one stop shop, similar to Coisas do Brasil in Marietta. The food here is pretty good. The best in the area...the cook here is better with adding more flavor to the food, maybe because he/she is from Minas.... I wish they had Brazilian food from other regions, like Bahia \0/. In spite of that, I will always be a repeat customer.

Absolutely delicious lunch buffet! $11 for the buffet (unlimited), a bottled water, and a pastry for later. I was stuffed after one trip- lots of excellent choices. I've never tried Brazilian outside of places like Fogo de Chao. It was great to try a new culture without the churascaria's prices!

Minas Grill is a very clean, friendly and delicious place to eat! The staff is professional and the food is simply amazing! Their maracujá mousse won the Taste of Marietta Best Dessert prize a few years back, and if you taste it, you will know why! If you are tired of the same old thing, this Brazilian spot has got to be on your list! They have Brazilian groceries, chocolates, cofee and more! Go, you will be pleasantly surprised! Guaranteed!

Good food, great staff, price is very reasonable for a Brazilian restaurant. The meats and sides are the same flavored as the high priced Brazilian restaurants in Atlanta. I would definitely recommend it.

Warm, friendly Brazilian cafeteria that triples as a Brazilian grocery store and Brazilian social club. On weekends, Brazilians families are all over speaking Portuguese to each other and the staff. It seems everyone knows everyone. There is much variety on the AYCE buffet. The dishes are hearty and simple. They serve churrascaria meats (Brazilian barbeque) where you go to the counter. They take the meats off the rack grill and cut it right there for you fresh. The staff is very helpful even if not all of them are totally comfortable with English. If they can't understand your needs, they will call another staff member over. I will tell you this set-up is very typical for lunch places in Brazil. From what I can gather, you can do the AYCE buffet with barbeque or without or you can fill up a Styrofoam container and have the food weighed. AYCE and Por Kilo (weight) are very common at these casual buffets in Brazil. I think if you want barbeque you need to get there before 4:00. Otherwise, it's just the buffet which also has prepared meat dishes. PS- Buy a pound of Brazilian coffee (actually 1.1 lbs) for $6.99. It's a good deal.

We enjoy this weekly for lunch. Great BBQ and sides, as well as always fresh fruit which some of the other BBQ restaurants in the area don't have. There is plenty of room to sit, and with the grocery attached, we always pick up great Brazilian cookies, Dulce de Leite (caramel tasting topping) and Picanha before we leave.

We were on our way to Florida and stopped around 6 pm because of traffic through Atlanta. Dinner time so I brought up Yelp and found this place. Reviews looked good and I like to try different places. Folks, this HAS to be one of the worst meals I've ever had. We had 3 options. Beef, chicken and pulled something. No menu. That was it. I was told they used to have a buffet. I ordered the beef, my wife ordered the chicken. Mine was a flattened piece of something that was tougher than shoe leather. Seriously. My wife's chicken was similar. They gave us a salad with 2 drops of ranch dressing. No choice. The plate had the meat, a pile of dry over cooked white rice, beans of some kind and carrots. Then they gave us a pudding of some kind. Awful. I'm 250 lbs and not a picky eater. My wife's dinner was the same. I gave one star because our server was nice. I have NO clue how this place has received any good reviews. And the bathrooms were an embarrassment. Worst than a bad gas station. I would hate to see what the kitchen looks like.

This place is really good. At first I am really confusing, because barely no one speak English in the restaurant. And the environment is simple but warming. Let me think of the small but delicious restaurant in my hometown. I would say this one is authentic brazilIan food. The buffet includes dishes, salad and grill but pastry. The food quality is amazing with its price.

I was in town for the World Cup so I thought I'd check out Minas Grill and I was incredibly impressed! The atmosphere was phenomenal. Since I stopped in for the game, they had a giant projector outside and lots of meats on the grill. The whole staff was super friendly and the owner even checked in with me to make sure I was satisfied. Having been to Brazil, I know that the food was definitely authentic and super yummy. I was even able to pick up some of my favorite Brazilian treats for after the game. If you're looking for a genuine experience, Minas should definitely be at the top of your list.

I love going to Minas for their Brazilian BBQ. They have tasty meat and you can get it by the pound or get the buffet. Just make sure you go during lunch because that's when the actual grill is open. Their store is awesome too. I love getting cheese bread from their frozen section. yum.

Seriously LOVE Minas. Their grilled meat is definitely the highlight. Was only in town for a few days but after trying it once I came back for a second meal the next day. Delicious yummy food, everything from their salads to their oxtail stew was amazing. I love that there were so many brazillians eating here which speaks to the authenticity of the place. My friend says that this is a very specific type of Brazillian food though, from the region where German and Italian immigrants settled and that would explain the 5 kinds of pasta they had the first day we went. Heavenly food and downright warm and nice people. I'll go again next time I'm around Marietta.

First time at Minas and was impressed with the variety. I was in the mood for some Brazilian food and found a great place. The cost was fair and I didn't have to pay the high $$ for other Brazilian places alike. If you want to add the meat to your buffet then it cost a few dollars extra but well worth it. The staff is friendly and facility is clean. Local Brazilians dine here which is a good sign of authenticity. Plus side is I may be able to learn a third language if I go enough lol. Buffet w/ skewered meat plus a can of Guarana for the road, full belly and satisfied customer came out to be $13 bucks and some change for lunch. I well definitely return in the near future!

I love this place, it is awesome! True, you do need to go there at the right time and pick the right meat to feast on. If you do you can't beat the CP( cost performance)! I usually go there around between 12-2ish, and from the grill I stick with the beef, and tell them I want rare. Don't forget the orange color garlic sauce. It is awesome.(Not for your breath though). For me it is awesome this way. Like I said CP is great here. If you think about most of the pretty set up shit food restaurants around town, it is great. worth a try. Oh about the attitude? Most of the staff there does not speak a lot English. Don't take it personal, tip well, and have a great meal!!

Not just the best Brazilian restaurant in Atlanta, probably the best place to get steak in town as well. Avoid the overpriced Fogo de Chão, Fire of Brazil, etc...this is much cheaper and better. Not much in terms of atmosphere, but the quality of food is excellent. (Note that steak is only served at lunchtime.)

The staff was so rude to us when we went. They just stared and didn't say a word to us. It's a buffet lunch and we were trying to figure out if we pay first or pay after, they talked to us in a really annoyed tone of voice. I am not sure if it had anything to do with us not being brazilian since everyone else in there spoke Portuguese but the way they treated us made it seem like they only wanted Portuguese-speaking customers. The food was also not good. I normally love Brazilian food but even the food tasted bland and old. Maybe it's cause we were treated so horribly and no one wanted to help us so that already made me lose my appetite. If 0 stars was possible, I would choose that instead.

They have a restaurant inside with a buffet with lots of great Brazilian food. My wife and have eaten there 4 times. Good for food for a great price.
