Really? No table service on the Sunday till 5:00pm, No problem. But when they told us the messed up our pizza by putting a large hole in it after they had cooked it. They offered no concessions for the additional wait time to make another. Obviously the person who informed us of the mistake has no kids. By this time they had started waiting tables, but they would come by ours because we ordered at the counter. With a 10 month old and a 4 yr old it is a challenge, I can't leave the table to order them another drink and they were starving. Unfortunately, this will be our last visit.

I am rating this particular Mellow Mushroom location because it is by far the one I am eating at most often. Mellow Mushroom's pizza is "so-so". They have almost every single topping available. But their sauce is so very "blah". I don't think they put anything into the tomato sauce other then maybe a little salt. As Karin A. mentioned, their salads are quite good, as this is one of the very few restaurants that I will pay so much for a few veggi's. I've had just about every single one of their sandwiches more than once and have liked them all. But their calzones are HUMONGOUS and my favorite! Sometimes I have enough to take home for a second and even a third meal. I always ask for the House Calzone, minus the tomatoes plus some Provolone and I am happy for the next few days. The service at this location can often be slow, even if they are not busy, although that is rare as they are normally packed.

Love mellow mushroom. But this one stinks. My daughter takes gymnastics next door so this would be an easy dinner. How can you mess up a cheese pizza for my kids? They did! It was awful. Not enough cheese to come close to covering the pizza. Don't waste your calories here!

The food was good and our waiter was good until it came time to pay our bill. We gave her our credit card and she messed up the charges 3 diff. Times. The waiter was nice about and I would go again.

There are a lot of Mellow Mushroom locations around town, but I'm convinced that this one makes the best pizza. Noisy and sometimes mobbed, it nevertheless nails all the elements of a great pie. The crust --- the spring water process that Mellow is famous for --- is perfectly tossed and baked every time, and the toppings and cheese are first rate. If you have been buying those $10 pizzas at you-know-who, step up for a few bucks more and eat a real pie.

My pizza joint of choice back in high school. They've since expanded all over the place (I saw one in Alabama last week!), but this one's been there since the early 90's.

My first experience with Mellow mushroom pizza, was at this location. After picking my wife up from work, we decided to go after hearing all the countless recommendations from friends and the like. Man were we disappointed. The service was awful. We were getting our pizza to go, and first we waited at the counter for 10 minutes before the cashier even took our order. Then when we finally did order we proceeded to sit there and wait another 70 minutes tor our order. Finally my wife asked what the wait was, and we could hear one of the cooks says "We put that order out 40 minutes ago". Well needless to say we didn't get it.......after searching, it was discovered that somebody put the pizza on top of a refrigerator instead in the pick up window. There it sat for 30 minutes until it got stone cold. Upset we asked for another pizza, that was whipped up relatively quickly in 15 minutes. Aggravated, but somewhat satisfied we left. After our 1 1/2 hour long adventure getting dinner, we were starving, so we cracked the pizza open in the car and to our suprise and dismay, it was cold, and tasted like it had been sitting out. We were suspicious that they just reheated the other pizza and gave it back to us, but too hungry and aggravated to deal with them anymore, we just left and stopped at Panera on the way home.

I normally love Mellow Mushroom's jerk chicken pizza, minus the pineapple or just plain with extra cheese. This particular day, I dropped my daughter off and had 2 hrs to play around with. I decided I'd get 2 cheese slices...dunno when the last time I ordered such a thing cuz I always get extra cheese...but anyway, they burned one slice. I ate the one good slice and asked if the other can be boxed up. Well, the 2nd slice was actually a small pie! Customer service at it's best! I would've given this location maybe 3 stars but they impressed me with kindness...you don't get that everyday. Most places would've just made my 1 slice and sent me on my way. I'll be back for a calzone when I'm in the area again.

It's a great mellow for the location. You can't compare this place to a larger one like brookhaven. I like this place. The staff is friendly and the quality of the food is as good if not better than some of the larger places. Sure there is no table service until after a certain time but it really isn't needed until then anyway. Mellow has a very particular pizza. If your looking for NYC or some other kind of pie your not going to find it here. Their pie is their pie and I love it. Also their Bruschetta is A Mazing. My wife is a Bruschetta snob and we had some at top notch place down town and Mellow's killed it!

I was out running errands and was debating on Tex-Mex or pizza and well... I decided on Pizza. I enjoy Mellow Mushroom pizza and decided to check out the one near me in Marietta so I called in to place an order (I rarely sit and eat at pizza places and like to carryout). It took about twenty minutes and was hot and ready by the time I got there. When I got home, I was more than ready to dig into my food. The pizza tasted good, one crazy thing was that the cheese was practically thicker than the crust on the bottom and it made the pizza kinda unbalanced, but it was still yummy. Since this one is close to me, if I'm ever in the mood again for Mellow Mushroom I'll be sure to swing by.

CLOSED??!! Where did it go? Now there is no Mellow Mushroom in East Cobb. Can't understand why it closed, this location was always crowded.

Excellent service but the big clincher is the huge chalkboard wall for the kids. Gets em every time.

I love mellow mushroom! The pizza is consistent across the multiple locations, the ingredients are fresh and the pizzas are savory if there was ever such a thing as savory pizza. I've had many different varieties and they've all been very good. Of course you get what you pay for so they're a bit on the pricey side but well worth it if you care about putting quality, responsibility grown and raised ingredients into your body. If your budget will allow, I highly recommend MM!

I travel all over and I can say hands down, there is no better calzone on the planet than the mellow mushroom house calzone!

Come here regularly with family and friends - it does get very crowded, and you can wait a long time, but man can they make pizza! I guess we can put up with it as long as they keep cranking out good stuff - a bigger store would've welcomed!

It's a Mellow Mushroom. If you like the pizza and the vibe, then this is a good one for you. Pizza and other food items as advertised. In store and pick up service good.

Usually love MM, but this time the service was mediocre and the gluten free pizza was horrible. We had one slice and threw away the rest of the pizza.
