Lots of European (mostly Russian) goods. I was so glad to find a place closer to home. The folks that work there are great. The Korean Salad is awesome, the Olivier Salad is amazing! If you ever want to try something new this is a great spot to check out. Lots of chocolates and a wide selection of meats.

It's hard to find a place that makes stuffed cabbage...and this place does it well. The service was so friendly...she answered every question I had and was so sweet about it. I love trying new food and it was obvious that I had no idea what I was doing in the deli but even another kind customer let me try some items she was buying. They had this carrot salad and it was really good and the chicken salad was different and delicious, not heavy at all. We ended up buying a pound of carrot salad and chicken salad to take home...oh and the meat pie. I tried the meat pie when I got home...was really good but a lil to much onion for me. I will defiantly be back when im on that side of town again.

Found this place through Scoutmob Okay, so this places gets a 3 just for novelty. It's a mostly Russian grocery/deli, but they also have some pastries and serve caffe. If you want some borscht or kinder chocolate, then this is the place to go. They even have matryoshka dolls, so you can buy one and act like you visited Russia ;) On to the food: I had 2 of their sandwiches the Reuben and the Roast Beef. Both were tasty, but sad to say the Reuben didn't come on Rye. Actually, both sandwiches came on whole wheat sandwich bread. The sandwiches came with tiny salad (more like a cole slaw) and a pickle (which I was not a fan of). They make the sandwiches in the back, so I wasn't sure if the meat was actually fresh or packaged. Same w/ the bread (homemade or store bought). Also, they take their time (not completely a bad thing). So, take caution if you're in a rush.

This is a nice little east European deli - more Russian that Western Europe but hey....who cares. Only problem is that the place needs to descibe the contents of its many products for those of us who don't read the Cirilian alphabet. In the meantime, I had a very nice cup of coffee and a container of mushroom salad which was very good. Apparently this salad is traditional Russian fare and is quite interesting. It hints of egg salad or perhaps pea salad with a definite overtone of steinpilz (ceps, aka porcini). There is also shredded cheese throughout the salad. The store also has homemade bread which looks like it has heft rather than those loose airy things one gets at the grocery store. It is a bit pricey...about $1.00 more than elsewhere but quality overcomes cost if you can afford it. Looks like they have one table in case you want to eat your purchase there.
