This i have to say is the worst place to go to in marietta. The waitress took our order brought our drinks and never came back. we received our food 45 minutes later, we ordered a burger and wings. The food looked good but i took a bite of my hamburger and it was raw.... We were already late for a friends party and couldn't wait for another burger to be made, it probably would take anothsr 45 minutes. We brought this to the waitresses attention and told her we would like a to go box for our wings and the check. When we got the check she had charged us for the raw burger. i cant take it off you ordred it you have to pay for it. the manager was rude and said they couldnt take it off but could give us a certificate to come back. did they really think that we would be back? If i could rate this place a 0 i would. If you see this place on delk road drive past it and never look back.

Great food, good selection of revolving beers, lots of TVs, cool stuff on the walls, great people, and fresh and clean since going non smoking. Rear lace to stop for a beer and stay all night! !

I see a trend!!! if you are so stupid to own a smokey old divey bar (smoke stinks, period, I do not wish to be around it). So put your old smelly, stinky bar/restaurant on GROUPON! THEN for reasons that baffle, put the 1 star ratings on the bottom (for stinky smoke (read the research on second hand smoke, really), Yelp puts the 1 star ratings on the bottom? are they not valid? yes, they are.

Awesome dive bar, especially if you live nearby. The drinks are always good. They have a groupon deal right now. The food is bar food. The waitresses are usually are pretty good. Never had any issues.

Came to watch a soccer game and didn't want our local place that is always packed. Delkwood is a ways from where we live but thought we would give it a shot. Plus they recently filmed a movie here. ;) We walked in and it didn't feel very inviting. You can tell that this is a locals bar and all the locals just stared as us with a "What are you doing here" kind've look. That's totally cool, I respect that. Growing up I had a family bar that we would all go to and I would give the same look to the newbies. So we carried on, picked a good large table that sat our group of 5 comfortably and with a good view of the tele. The service was horrible. The bar was not crowded at all and it took forever to get our drinks and put our appetizer and food orders in. The 3 stars is for the food. Their food is pretty good! The burger that my sis-in-law is eating was huge and she ate every bit of it. They have a variety of items on the menu to choose from, with only a few healthy options but hey...this IS a bar ok. Overall experience was meh... not bad, but not horrible. Next big game we'll probably come back. Or hey! Even become a local! ;)

The lady sitting at the bar in my picture greeted me.. Asked me what I want to drink. My response was I'm not sure... She said that's a problem... Then nothing no suggestive sell... I proceeded to order a Bud light she poured it and went and returned to her phone which apparently she was watching videos on Facebook. No offer for a food menu or anything else..... Some people do not need to bartend... For the 1st time in my life I finished my beer and left without tipping... I was a bartender for 10 years I wouldn't ever do what she did... On a positive note the other bartender for whom I'm assuming her name is Emily was very attentive and took great care of her side of the bar....

Interesting place, food isn't great but isn't terrible either. Diverse crowd depending on when you go. I wouldn't take the family here that being said when we go we see lots of family's... Parking is adequate.

Surprisingly decent. I didn't expect much for burgers and bar food. However, the nachos did have a lot on ingredients on them, including cheese, beans, jalapeños, etc. I got a grilled chicken salad with BBQ sauce. It was fresh and the chicken was tender and flavorful. There is plenty of parking. I was impressed that one waitress remembered all 12ish of our orders. There is a designated non smoking area but you can still smell the smoke, more so when you walk in.

The wife and I stopped here for a beer. We did not eat anything, so I can't speak for the food. What I can speak to is the beer was nice and cold and the service was fine. We sat at the bar and the bartender keeped our glasses full while we were there. Th place defiantly was not crowded at all as there was only a handful of people there. The bar itself was very interesting as they had a ton of amazing stuff and pictures in the wall. Not a bad place at all to enjoy a cold one.

This place is what it is - a great dive style bar with strong drinks and reasonable priced food. I like it because I always meet people that are regulars and friendly. I have never left there without having a good time. My favorite stop when I am working in Marietta. Not fancy but always a good time!

Delkwood Grill is a decent sports bar and grill located on Delk Rd. in Marietta. My coworkers and I have come here a handful of times over the years for lunch. According to the menu, this restaurant has been around since 1988 and underwent a name change from "Bimbo's Saloon and Eatery" to "Delkwood Grill" in 2000. Unlike the Taco Macs and Hudson Grilles of the world, Delkwood is family owned and operated. It's not as new or big, it doesn't have over a hundred beers on tap, and it doesn't have tons of HD screens everywhere. To this end, it does feel a bit dated, as evidenced by the old furniture and decor inside. Therefore, it's more comparable to another Marietta sports bar, Sidelines on Roswell Rd. However, I think part of it is intentional. The interior is littered with various vintage sports memorabilia. They also play 80s music over the speakers and have vintage arcade cabinets such as Pac-Man. Sweet. If I were ever to reference the movie "Hot Tub Time Machine" in any review, it would be most appropriate for Delkwood Grill. Sometimes, I feel like I'm stepping back in time when I eat at this place. The menu has all of your standard sports bar fare: soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, wings, and pizza. Their wings are dubbed "Delkwood Wings" and their pizza is called "Bimbo's Pizza." I've yet to try a pizza here, but am curious since it's been served in various incarnations around the country since 1959. It's Chicago-style pizza. Items I have tried include their Reuben and French dip sandwiches and their 12 oz. ribeye steak. Both of the sandwiches are good and are packed with plenty of meat, but they are quite greasy, especially the Reuben. The ribeye, at $13.95, was average at best. Not bad, but most likely frozen. I can't say I felt healthier after eating here. The servers are friendly and attentive here. There's more of a country or down-home feel here compared to Taco Mac or Hudson. Probably what I like most about Delkwood are all of the photos of athletes and sports personalities that greet you at the entrance. They're all personally signed and the restaurant has collected them over the years and put them on display.

I always sit at the bar, but the bartenders are attentive and friendly. The food and beer is inexpensive, but the food is basic. Not the best burger in the world but also not the worst. It's a friendly atmosphere with interesting and fun decor.

Service is horrible! Besides the obviously stereotypical 'no blacks' sign on the door. I went in for a drink, only to find they also don't enjoy serving young quiet black females. I waited 15 mins for a refill (w my glass pushed toward the edge of the bar) while the bartender and manager circled the bar. Left my usual nice tip (25 on a 16 in this case) because I WILL NEVER be back to this establishment. There was an obvious difference in the way I received service compared to the other older (regular) patrons even though my money is also green.

Service was good, fast, and friendly. We sat outside on the patio to avoid the secondhand smoke. I had the bleu cheese burger which was very tasty. My husband had a cheese pizza which I thought was terrible but he didn't seem to mind. It looked 80% burnt and very rubbery, the piece I had of it was not good. But....maybe that's their style?

The dude & I decided to come here one night since it is so close by & its on restaurant.com . We had always noticed it, but never considered stopping by until we saw it on there. I was highly impressed. We went on a Tuesday night, it seems that is 'cribbage night', so there were folks all around playing cards and having a grand old time. We're recently addicted to Monopoly Deal, so we whipped that out so that we could behave as if we were in Rome. LOL We found the food prices to be extremely reasonable. He had soup, 2 beverages, and ribeye steak dinners for $35 (including tip). The dinners came with a side salad, baked potato and some suspect green beans mixed with cord. The steak was a nice portion and actually cooked to the temperature that we requested. Of course, because we had the restaurant.com certificate for $25 with a $35 minimum, the meal only cost $10! The waitress was nice, but didn't constantly bother us as we decided to just stay nearly to quitting time to continue to play our game (it was not busy). We'll definitely be back... That karaoke night sounds interesting! It is a little smoky...

After passing this place numerous times my friend and I decided to give it a go last Thursday night. From the outside it looks a touch sketchy, but it actually looks pretty nice on the inside. It's got that neighborhood bar feel, the kind where it's all cozy and there are a million signs and knicknacks on the walls and ceilings. We sat at the bar where there we nice large HD TVs to watch the game on. We were sitting by a few chatty people at the bar which was okay because they were being friendly (I assumed they were regulars by the way they were talking to us). The menu choices looked good, typical bar food and then some if you're actually dining, but it was all so dang expensive in my book. Chips and queso for $6.95? Really? In a place like this? Okay... Anyways, we ended up splitting an order of chicken nachos, which were surprisingly really good and came with some delicious guacamole. I think I would definitely come back here to hang out, but not sure if I'd go as far as to schedule it in.

Wow, the pizza here is fantastic. Super thin crust, great fresh toppings. Really good service, and a decent atmosphere. I'll be back for sure.
