What is Cosmopolitan trying to be? I think they need to answer that question in order to have a long term chance at success. It's not a diner, though it's menu is eclectic like a diner's, but it's no where near as voluminous. And clearly its pricing is not diner pricing. But for the prices of some of the items on the menu, it seems like Cosmopolitan is trying to be a high end restaurant. Shrimp & Grits for $24? A Chicken Caesar Salad for $15? Various boneless chicken dishes for $18? I've paid these prices before (well not for a chicken caesar, but for the other items). And I don't mind paying those prices, if its warranted. I guess what I'm saying is that I don't know how to characterize this restaurant. I think they need to embrace the "diner" aspect of their menu, lower the prices a few dollars, but be a "higher end diner". I want this place to succeed, but I want it to be a "regular" place to eat. A place I can go if I don't want to cook. At the current prices, I can't see that - a wing appetizer to share, shrimp & grits, chicken Piccata, and 1 Iced tea cost $67 with tip. With no alcohol, I expect my $67 to go further at a place like Cosmopolitan. They need to remember that they're on Delk Road in an older area. Their neighbors are KFC, Taco Bell, Hardees, Ruby Tuesday, and a few low end hotels. Cosmopolitan has potential, it just needs to drop its attempt to be higher end and be a good quality neighborhood restaurant with prices to match the neighborhood. No one from Atlanta, Kennesaw, Acworth, Sandy Springs, etc. are going to travel for a restaurant like this, so best to embrace the customers who will eat there.

Great food & restaurant. Average meal is $15. I have tried the fish special twice and it was very good. The chicken fingers and fries are $7.99 and they were very good also. My favorite is the lamb chops which is the most expensive item on the menu at $28. Beers average price is $4 The name Cosmopolitan sounds like a night club. However, it really is not and you can bring your family. (It does have a bar area that sometimes has music). They also have hamburgers and appetizers for under $10 I would recommend this restaurant - you will like it. We needed a good restaurant in Cobb County. Been back numerous times and had a great meal each time.

Friend took me here for weekday lunch and it was OK, Service was slow and prices were a tad high for the area. When back for a Saturday lunch which they call "Brunch" and the same dish cost $6 more. Hate to see the weekend dinner prices. The food the second time was a tad over cooked, service was mediocre at best. Nice atmosphere, but lots of wasted space inside and the curved booths are so out of date. I am surprised this more upscale place is located where it is as the local are crowd is obviously not what they are targeting, but it is out of the way for for their target audience. Honestly for less money you can find much better service and food, if you don't need the upscale atmosphere. They do seem to be set up to target local group lunchs and such with 2 large banquet style rooms. For those that remember it is located in the old Spaghetti Warehouse building and personally I would prefer the value and food of Spaghetti Warehouse over this place. To me if you go for lunch during the week the food value is decent, any other time the place is over priced for what you get.

Went here last week with some friends who were visiting from out of town. We were greeted and seated promptly. We all really dug the fried green tomatoes, which had blue cheese and bacon on them - basically take an ordinary veggie and dress it up to become sinfully tasty. My friends had the tomato soup and turkey burger, and I chose the shrimp po-boy with mac and cheese as the side. After the tomato appetizer and complimentary tender, flaky biscuits, I could only finish about half of my sandwich and macaroni, delicious as they were. The ambience was pretty cool - lots of color photographs from all over the country. Restaurant itself was humongous - could be a nice to place to go with a large party. However, they were playing some romantic Sade (who I LOVE) but had CNN reports playing on tv. I don't know exactly what mood they were trying to set on a Sunday afternoon, but it was confusing. Not bad, just inconsistent. The server was friendly, but a little awkward as she shuffled to clear our table, kind of stacking things in a way that could create a potential spill. Overall, I'd go back and give it a second try, maybe on an evening to try out their drinks.

Had a birthday dinner there couple of days ago with a large group of people and very excited to eat there. For starters I love the atmosphere, very chill and relaxed , loved the music and the art work, the staff was friendly , service was ok, it could have been better. For example we asked our server which soups she recommended and said the crab bisque, 6 of us ordered it and then she came back out couple of mins later and said there wasn't enough. Only asked certain people if they wanted something else instead, when she should of asked everyone who ordered. Then 10 mins later we actually all received the soups . So I give there service 2 stars As far as food I enjoyed the appetizers very much , fries calamari was excellent and the portion was pretty good. But as far as the entree's , I ordered stuffed chicken with chorizo , jalapeños with rice and veggies. I was very disapointed!! The veggie were very bland, the chicken stuffed with chorizo was too greasy, and the rice I had thought it had some stew and sauce on it , but it was actually grease from the chorizo that looked like it was drizzled on top. It didn't sit in my stomach to well and had to make a couple of trips to the bathroom. For food I give them 2 stars aswell Appetizers were good but entree was not Overall review I think there food is very over priced, and as much as I loved the atmosphere, and decor . I don't think I will be going back.

Me and my co-workers stopped in after work on Friday. The bartender recommended a Vanilla Lemon Drop. Martini. The best! Food was delicious! I had quesadillas. Friendly atmosphere and the chef came out to introduce himself and inquire about our meal. That was very impressive! Upon exiting, both gentleman at the door opened them for us. WOW!! Great food, drinks and service. Yes, I will definitely come back!!!

I could almost forgive a slow bar... Almost. But they got my drink wrong. And no water refills? Then were even slower the 2nd round. Food was pretty good...but my veggies were cold and did not seem to be completely unfrozen. I had the filet mignon - it was good. Don't expect fast service and be prepared to clarify your order.

I was pleased with the overall experience. The menu is diverse and the selections are reasonably priced. The taste was wonderful, it is obviously skillfully prepared and was wonderful. The only problem I saw was that the staff seemed a little undertrained, perhaps not quite up to their game. Overall experience was great though. I readily recommend them for lunch or dinner.

Came here on Friday night. They had a DJ. Which was really cool and odd because I was with my parents. Other than weddings. I've never done that before. On to the atmosphere. Beautiful. Great. Chic. Elegant. Service was surprisingly on point. My girl has celiac disease (gluten allergy) and they were so knowledgable. They double and triple checked everything. It was way more professional than what you would expect. It was pretty awesome.

I've been here several times, but can never figure out what Cosmo is supposed to be. With a name like "Cosmo" I expected a martini bar, but it's not that. It seems like they're trying to straddle the line between nightclub and restaurant but don't seem to be succeeding at either of those things. Cosmo opened where there used to be a family Italian restaurant, and so the theming still seems a little contradictory, with white columns running around the outside, several of which are obviously broken but haven't been repaired. I mention that because it's a sign of an ownership group that isn't exactly on top of it. They obviously take appearance into consideration when hiring their staff, which is sort of a sign of an insecure management team. But, to their defense the staff has been pretty good when I've been there. The menu is extensive, and very standard, which means it almost has to be frozen based on the business they're doing. Everything I've had looks straight from Sysco or one of the other common restaurant suppliers. But, they charge appropriately, so you're getting the quality that you're paying for. I think with some better focus and investment in the kitchen this could be a the place they want this to be.

Calamari is divine... cooked to perfection! And then there is the rest. The octopus is a bit on the overcooked side - tough. Not too bad but not too good either. The first dish of mussels were so salty we had to return them. The second effort was better but in both instances, the mussels had an odd flavor. The waitress was very accomdating - could not have asked for better. The restaurant is really quite nicely appointed but there aren't many people there for lunch. Makes me think that the chef needs a refresher course. s/he's just a snatch off the mark.

I was very excited to go here today. We had gone here when it first opened and it was amazing. Now it is horrid. We had an appitizer of calamari. The breading did not stick. The sause was ranch dressing and canned spaghetti sauce. I bit into one and immediately knew I had made a mistake. Fishy. I ordered the shrimp and grits. The oil they used or something in my dish was rancid. I know I'm not going crazy because I made my husband try it. I sent my meal back because it was not editable. No manager ever came to check on us. My husband ordered the chicken parm. It was frozen patties with canned spaghetti sauce. I had gnats flying around me in a booth. There was a terrible smell of cleaning supplies. For what we spent on the food it was not worth it. We could have gone to the cheesecake factory and paid just as much for much better food and drinks. As I sit here typing this my stomach is so upset I feel like I am going to barf. Oh and before I forget. ... the music was old. And very very loud.

I was not sure if I would enjoy this or not. However, because a my husband wanted to listen to live jazz, I decided to go. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a pleasant face. Later come to find out it was the bartender. I sat at the bar and was checked on every 10 minutes or so until my husband arrived. Had a very nice wine and ordered appetizers and a burger. These portions were enough for two and I enjoyed the meal, the band and atmosphere. We met Dino the manager and enjoyed the conversations with other guests. Liz was our bartender and all over the place but she made sure she checked her guests at the bar. Hopefully Dino will hire more floor staff on busier nights. I will be back!

Very nice atmosphere. Warning signs: Thursday night around 9ish, very few customers. My first time there. Chicken wings ok. Alarms: 2) Gnats in my drink. Informed the first server she just blew it off like it is no big deal. Informed the second server and she just politely removed the charge from the bill. As I was signing my receipt, another gnat was buzzing on top of it. They obviously have a gnat problem which leads me to think other pests may be around. Knowing this, I can't go back. Sorry!

Weird place. Really nice looking venue, I have to say. But weird ambience. CNN and some random show on the TV, not very crowded. Very eclectic crowd. Server was nice, but slow. Looking at the menu, it was very diverse. And unfortunately, this was a case of they did a whole lot of different things, none particularly well. I had the fried pork chop, a $12-13 dish that was $23. Wife had the picatta, said it was average at best. The free bread was good, and we had hummus and saginaki, which were both tasty. The manager did send us home with free dessert, which was a nice gesture. All in all, I appreciate the effort, but this place needs a more concise menu, and do a few things well rather than offering stir fry to southern. Not really my part of town, so I doubt we will be back around. Did have a nice bar and cocktail area, so I bet it would be a great place for drinks though.

Very nice restaurant. After leaving a horrible experience at ruby Tuesday we were eager to find a place to feed our enormous hunger!!! A little intimated from the casual dining sign since we were out of town and ran out of clean clothes ended up wearing basically shorts and sandals we were treated with a warm reception which helped reassured us to eat and spend as if we were at home! We elected to sit at the bar and both bar tenders were graciously kind our drinks never ran out!!! I ordered the Picatta and asked for the chicken to be blackened boy that hit the spot. It was served with angel hair pasta the sauce had a strong hint of lime and with the chicken blackened it gave the perfect balance. That meal was $18 but well worth it. Full bar and jäger on hand is an A++++ for me. Don't be fooled by the name and how fancy it looks the pricing is competitive with any restaurant in the area. Plenty of appetizers under $10 and burgers for that price. It can go up to about $30 but everything was well worth it. Overall excellent experience. If you sit at the bar you can't lose make sure to ask for the Bulgarian server didn't catch her name but she was extremely friendly and great service!!! If your passing ATL hit it uppppp!!! Easy walk from our stay at Drury inn so we were able to drink up. Make sure to avoid Ruby Tuesday in this area!!!

I live up the street from here and I was a bit skeptical going into it bc I think this area is probably really hard to have a successful trendy restaurant. Very trendy looking on the inside. I got the fried grouper and mixed veggies which was great. My hubs got the Philly cheesesteak and fries that he said was just OK. We went for brunch and looked over the brunch menu before we got there only to find out what we wanted wasn't on the menu which was a little disappointing. Maybe dinner is better. A Plus is my waiter was awesome

*will update soon Staying at the courtyard next door for an extended time. Came in at 12:30am on a Friday night after watching sports. The dj is unbearably loud. Will never return on a FrIday. I'm 26 yr old who frequents rock concerts, and the music was so loud I couldn't hear myself think. There are only 4 people on the dance floor. The dj doesn't need to repeatedly thank everyone for Coming out when literally only 4 people care and only a handful more are at the bar. The dessert was sub par and my white Russian was made with package creamer despite a price point that would indicate otherwise. The menu looks appealing and the service was decent. I would like to come back on a different night when the dj isn't here and will update my review.

Went for lunch and ordered the grouper sandwich with fries. The bread on the sandwich was really gpod, but the grouper was paper thin and mostly breading. The fries were Ok but frozen. I guess I expected more.

I visited the this restaurant on a Monday evening with a large group. The first warning sign was an empty restaurant except for several people at the bar. The restaurant is very spacious, so an empty dining area was very surprising. The second warning sign was the over-the-top proclamations and promotion by the server David. According to the server, everything would be delicious and fresh. He even stated that he was a chef himself and was trained at Le Cordon Bleu, but he is a server!??? The third warning sign was the long wait time for the entrees. I understand that a large party requires more time, but not in an empty restaurant. Lastly, and most important, the food was NOT good. The taste and quality did not match the server's proclamations. In fact, no one in my party of 10 liked their entrees. The filet was not tender, the lamb chops were dry, the grit cakes were flavorless, and the mashed potatoes tasted like they were from a box. There were other problems with the food but why go on. In summary, I would avoid this restaurant unless you have an overwhelming desire to waste your money. There are better options!

This was the second time my party dined there, on business travel, and it was a very marginal experience. We were a table of six on a Sunday night, with only about seven tables in the entire place with guests. The service failed again and again and again. The waitress was comicly remiss in taking drink orders. Two people were asked and then she drifted off for 10 mins. before even asking the rest of the table. Once people begin asking about Scotch and other libations, not one of the staff knew anything about the liquor selection. They could read on the bottle that the brand came from Scotland. Wow! Entrees were fair, but the service was so terrible and slow without any recognizable reason. Probably four to five servers for only about 8 tables of guests, so no excuses. It has all the trappings of a family run business, and run badly. There are many better options. Take them. And the review about the gnats is dead on. We had two or three pestering us the entire meal. And for a room full of sports TVs, the music ran from Fur Elise to gospel to Sinatra. Just weird. Avoid.

We went for lunch, and it was very much hit-or-miss. I had the special, a shrimp risotto with pesto. It was great, and I very much enjoyed it. My wife got the soup/salad/sandwich combo. Her tomato soup and salad were pretty good, but the chicken salad was awful. She described it as the worst she's ever had. The others in our group enjoyed their meals except the guy who ordered the French Onion Soup, which looked bland and he said tasted blander. And who serves French Onion Soup without cheese or croutons? So there were very good parts, and very bad parts, and overall I'm just not sure what to think about this place.

A dear friend of mine decided to have her beau's surprise birthday dinner here after googling several restaurants. We had dinner reservations at 8, but you know, most of us ran late, but they were still very accommodating despite closing at 11pm. Our entire party was in full attendance by 9pm, and we all ordered appetizers, drinks, and our entrees. I checked in on Yelp and was able to get a free appetizer, and D wanted the Philly bites, so I offered to order those for him. As far as drinks go, I just tried the cosmorita, jamaican, and the black and white. The black and white tastes very similar to a coffee sort of drink, the cosmorita taste JUST like tequila and salt, it is VERY sour, imo. The Jamaican was on the sweet yet bitter side. It reminded me a lot of the cherry flavored medicine :/ Most of us filled up on the appetizers and bread so most of us barely touched our entrees. I ordered the salmon and had no complaints. However, D did not like his fried pork chops. He made a snarky comment about how they were more so soggy than fried. So, I'd opted out of getting that. The soup of the day was the crabmeat bisque, and most of us attended a birthday dinner the prior night where we all had lobster bisque so everyone had full intentions of ordering the bisque. Luckily, they had just made another batch because everyone was about to lose their soup lol. The bisque is very creamy, but it has great flavor and taste to it. But I'm not one for creamy soups so I wasn't necessarily to fond of it. However, everyone enjoyed their night, and had a blast celebrating another birthday :D

Stopped here on a drive to Florida. Modern, elegant decor and live jazz set the tone when we walked in. The servers were welcoming and pleasant. The menu has some standard fare mixed with some very unique dishes. From appetizer to desert, all our dishes were well prepared and had beautiful presentation. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.

Soooo good!!!! Went here because it was convenient...and very glad we did. I had the risotto with blackened chicken & my husband had the stuffed chicken. Both were excellent! Wine list is a little lacking but manageable. Will totally return with friends!

My husband and I went on a Friday night and as it was supposedly a "special event" they were charging a cover. We paid $10 per person and they lost a star for this and here is why, what was advertised as live music and folk dancing was a mediocre restaurant band playing Greek music and the servers linking arms and dancing in a circle for five minutes. That is definitely not entertainment worth paying extra for. They also had some drink specials and a special Greek menu for the event. The drinks: I had two cranberry vodkas and my husband had two rum and cokes. They were a good medium strength, not too weak but still tasted good. The owner or manager or someone also gave out shots of ouzo which was nice (a free shot was nice, ouzo tastes like anise which is not for everyone). We ordered hummus off of the Greek menu and it very well may have been the best hummus we have ever had. It was very yummy. My one complaint there was that they were a bit stingy on the pita points, even though we scooped up large amounts and double dipped (hey, we are married!) there was still not enough to finish the hummus. I ordered off of the Greek menu for dinner as well, I forget what it is called but it is a sort of Greek lasagna and it was not good. It had ground beef in it but it was sweet. I found that very off-putting. The potatoes that came with it were way too salty. Speaking of way too salty, my husband who is a salt fiend ordered the chicken piccata off of the regular menu and it was so salty that he could barely eat it. Also, the pasta was swimming in the sauce, so much so that it looked like noodle soup. The chicken itself was so dry that it was inedible. So basically we paid almost $100 for a few decent drinks and one good appetizer. The atmosphere in this place is really nice and the service was average for sitting at the bar so I feel like if they take away the cover (seriously people, don't charge people to get into a restaurant, that's silly) and work on the entree preparation they could do really well. As of right now, it's a decent place to go for drinks and apps but that's about it.

Surprisingly great meal tonite from a road warrior foodie. As always, I had culinary challenges (low salt, healthy, hates cucumbers) but I had a wonderful and healthy meal and excellent service as well. I got a taste of the Greek soup and will definitely order next time. Yum!

Great time that was not expected. I had the fried grits with shrimp and it was great. Wife had the Shrimp Fra Diavolo and it was equally great. Very spivey but great. We had the bruschetta for an appetizer and you can't beat it. Our dinner ambiance was some live music that was very relaxing. Staff was friendly and the service was outstanding. Would definitely recommend.

I went there for a Jazz Event in one of the rooms off the to the right of the main restaurant. I paid for a VIP ticket so I could sit up front near the stage and get "TOP NOTCH" service. I was escorted to my seat and I sat there as the waiters and waitresses totally ignored me. They walked by me a dozen times and never acknowledge me. They didn't bring me any water or a menu until I finally got really mad and called the waitress over and asked for a menu and water. VIP didn't mean squat. I could have paid for regular ticket with the poor service I got that night. I finally decided what I wanted to order. You guessed it. I had to flag a waitress down to take my order. I'm Vegan and the only thing on the menu for vegans is salad or fried vegetables. So I ordered a Pear/Pecan Salad for $5 plus and the Fried Zucchini Fries for $7 plus. When the order came out, I'm looking like; where is the rest of it. I had about 6 zucchini fries and very small bowl of spring mix with some pecans and a quarter of an unsweet pear sliced. So I paid $15 for nothing really. If I ever go back there for jazz, I'm getting a regular admission ticket, and I'm going to Sweet Tomatoes to eat before I get there. One thing I can't stand is when there is not enough staff to handle the crowd. Everyone of them looked stressed out and ticked off to me. It might be a decent venue for wedding receptions but that's it. It's plenty parking and the restaurant is huge.

When you offer shrimp and grits, you should take the tails off the shrimp. That's not a dish to leave them on. Taste was good, though. Temp was WAY too hot...burned my tongue...how do you even get it that hot?? Good food, but needs some refining...music on patio was terrific!

Worse chicken tenders I've ever had. Was scared to order anything not feel fried. Service takes forever food is not presented nicely and is seriously worse than a food truck. Wish I had not wasted my lunch here. Won't be back.

Very nice restaurant. My boyfriend and I went on a Wednesday night and it wasn't busy at all. The salad was probably the best salad I've ever had and the bread was great! I ordered the friend chicken with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The chicken wasn't that good, but the potatoes and broccoli were good. My boyfriend ordered the salmon and he enjoyed it. Our bill was cheaper than what I expected and the prices on the menu are pretty fair for the amount of food that you receive. I would recommend going here and will probably be back to try something different off of the menu.

The atmosphere was nice the food was good that's the only reason I gave The Cosmopolitan a 3. Went here for Valentine's day and the service was awful. I understand going out ok V-Day requires more patience than usual but this was ridiculous. Nothing was consistent whatsoever. People were leaving the restaurant because of neglectful service and the manager didn't comp anyone or apologize for anything, he just made excuses. Out of pure boredom I clocked the greet time for one couple as they sat down. They sat for 24 minutes until a server greeted them! Tables went 40+ minutes without being bussed. This is NOT a 4.5 star restaurant. I don't mind spending 2 hours in a restaurant if I am being waited on hand and foot, but when I have to ask a manager about our food after an hour and 20 minutes (it was not busy by the way) then I tend to grow impatient. I don't recommend for dinner.

This place is off the beaten path but my husband I liked it enough to give it a second try, and it was still good the second go round. The dining room is stylish, the service efficient and the food is better than average. The menu has a slight identity problem but the chicken curry is good, the chicken parm substantial and the bread is warm and crisp. This little mom n pop deserves more business than it's getting so spread the word and check out Cosmopolitan when you're in the area. God knows there's a shortage if options on Delk Rd.

We we had a party for 5 adults today for birthdays ... The restaurant was not crowded at that time we went and we like that... The inside of the restaurant is very well decorated and the table spacing is very roomy... Two of us had the ribeye steak ...two had the salmon ... And one had chicken parmesan... All of our food was cooked properly and tasted very good ... The portions were large and we had plenty left over... They came with either salad or soup... They also were of good portion size ... At first glance, the price may appear to be a little high... But with today's meat prices they were not way out of line ... Had it been a little less expensive, I would have given them 5 stars.that said there are many items on the menu for around $10

The hubby and I really enjoyed our first visit to Cosmopolitan this past Saturday night. The service was awesome from the moment we walked in the door. We both ordered sandwiches. Mine was a wrap and it was so big I could only eat half of it! My favorite thing was the peppermint martini they had as the evening's special cocktail. So good I had to have a second! We will definitely be back.

Service was impeccable but wish I could say the same about the food......got the Chicken piccata and it was tasteless. The chicken wasn't even seasoned with salt or pepper. A friend ordered the scallops which came out when almost all of us were finished with our dinner. Probably won't be going back again..

I've only been here once; not sure why I'm checked in twice. For a Friday night, this place was pretty empty. I ordered the "half n half" burger, which was half beef, half pork?, I believe? Horrendous. I just ate some of the mashed potatoes. Our waitress had no problem replacing it with a regular beef hamburger, which was so forgettable, it made no sense. Little toppings, hardly any seasoning, just plain forgettable. Honestly, there was not even the smell of cooking food in the air. It smelled like nothing. They have so many T.V.s in here, and all of them were set to the strangest things: infomercials, soap operas in other languages, and sports commentators just talking- no sports being shown at all... ? lol I dunno, man. Our waitress was nice but probably should be drug tested. She was so loopy. She did honor my Yelp deal, so that was nice. I wouldn't mind having her again. My friend and I were seated at this corner table facing the only occupied table in here. On top of that, our table was elevated, so it appeared as though we were on stage facing an audience. Haha- strange setup. Nice looking restaurant- not so great food or atmosphere.

Good things first. This restaurant is beautiful..interior and exterior. This place is spacious and has a clean feeling to it. The hostess sat us immediately. Our server was Keisha who gave Drew and I good and personable service. Now, the bad. The food was horrible. The calamari was chewy. It was either over/undercooked. Take note-Cosmopolitan. Calamari is supposed to melt in your mouth. No need to masticate. I ordered the blackened salmon with veggies while Drew, ordered a gyro with lamb. The salmon was tasteless and the veggies were so soggy that they were border-lined slimy. Drew's gyro lamb meat were all cut the same size and shaped=. If it were possible to cut and paste food, this would be a good example. No, not going back. Would not recommend for anything except a great venue to hold an event. And only, if the restaurant would NOT be catering.

I really liked this place. We had a ton of good food. I ordered the scallops stuffed with crab and it was delicious! I'll have to go back and get it again. Even the mashed potatoes was good. I really didn't have any complaints about the place or the food. It's a very nice atmosphere too.

We came in to wait! The bartender was the waitress, bartender, runner, and hostess.... And it was her first day with only 3 hours of training. She was nice but one pet peeve her hair want pulled back and she kept playing in it. We had pork sausage stuffed mushrooms blah then tomato basil bisque they forgot the basil my moms salad was brownish red. I ordered chicken fettuccine it was broccoli noodles and cream sauce. I felt like I was in an episode of Restaurant Rescue there was a manager and another lady running food. It's a great spot to do presentations at great decor but slight confused on the theme. Beautiful bar! Food not so good.

The food was really good. My husband ordered steak (well done which is hard to do and make taste good) and french fries. I ordered the blackened salmon. All in all the meal was good, but pricey. My salmon and veggies were seasoned and cooked very well and served hot. With tip we ended up spending about $70 which is ok, but not necessarily for the area. The service was great and we received our food quickly. Our waitress was personable and professional. I also think with the prices if they are going to give complementary bread it should be home made, not something you could buy at the grocery and cook in the oven (the bread was ok). The atmosphere was very nice. The renovation was done extremely well. All in all I would probably visit again, but I think its over priced for the area its in.

Had dinner, or lack there of, at this establishment on Valentine's Day. Let me take you through the night with time stamps. Reservations were made a month in advance. We were visiting friends in Atlanta and wanted to ensure the place near our hotel would be available. Reservations were set for 8pm. We arrived at 7:45. The hostess sat us at a table without asking if we preferred a booth. At 8:15, I got up and asked the hostess about our waitress. She asked us what we would like to drink. At 8:32, we received our drinks. The waitress that delivered our drinks told us she would take our order when she returned. At 8:43, we decided to move over to an open booth. We did this because it was more comfortable and in an effort to get a different waitress. Many walked by us but none acknowledged us. After speaking to a manager, we had someone come take our order. At 9:13, we finally received our salads. By 9:45, we finally received our meal. 3 of the 4 plates were cold. I walked to the server station and asked for a manager. It took 10 minutes just to speak to him as he was outside smoking. He apologized by saying "I'm sorry." He then told me that he would give us half off on the meal. To me it was unacceptable but at this point the DJ had started blaring music and talking over the mic like he was spinning the top hits of today. Really? On Valentine's night? Overall, I will never go back. I've had managers in the past make a good recovery. This manager was horrible. Plan ahead idiot. It's not like this was a more than average night. It was VALENTINES DAY WEEKEND!!!!

RUINED MY VALENTINES DAY!!!!! I came here on Valentine's Day and had the worst server ever!(not to sure of his name) when my date and I first came we waited over 15mins to be greeted. We even asked another server for help but she responded "I don't have time for this" and walked off. So after waiting a few more minutes a guy finally walks up and asks us our drink orders. Considering this is suppose to be a fancy restaurant and not some diner we atleast expected a greeting or even a sorry for waiting but no he said "what ya drinking?". So after getting our drinks our waiter rushed us into ordering our apps and entree together. When we get our food my dates was find while mines wasn't at all what I expected. As soon as he sat it on the table I told him I do not want the food but he hushed me and told me to try it out. My date had chicken parm and I had shrimp and grits. I expected creamy grits with a cheese sauce and shrimp, I got a fried grits cake slice with shrimp in a cheese water. So being a good sport I tried it out and after 2 bites I stopped. We them had to hunt the waiter down again because he was no where to be found and I explained the situation. He did nicely offer a substitute meal but I declined as my date was already done eating. He told me he would handle it. We then waited another 20 mins for a check to come with the voided entree but he just brought it back unchanged. When we asked about the check he gave us the worst attitude saying " im not doing it you need to talk to the manager". I had no problem talking to a manager but like everyone else he ignored me and was no where to be found. When the manager finally did come to my table I broke down the whole night to him asking for my food comped since I only got 2 bites and was completely unsatisfied but no he proceeds to argue with me because I didn't want a new meal saying that's all the company offers after a almost 5 minutes argument with the MANAGER we only got half off my meal. Sadly I do believe this was a race issue because majority of the guest were white while my date and I was a young black couple we feel we would have been treated way different if we was of another race. All in all I will never go back or recommend this restaurant to anyone. Sadly my date and his family has enjoyed and lived the good there all of their other visits but they now refuse to go based on the service we got on Valentine's Day.

My boyfriend and I visited here for the first time. I had the Parm chicken and it was awesome. My boyfriend had the Ruben and he said it was ok. The manager noticed he only ate half and was nice enough to come by and make sure we enjoyed everything. The atmosphere was super nice and the bar looked really classy! I enjoyed the experience to say the least.

9 diners, 5 wait staff, no hostess. 10 minutes to get a table. Bread was incredible, I wish I had filled up on it, in hindsight. Crabcake came out INSTANTLY after ordering. Luke warm tuna salad with crab on top is what it tasted like. Shrimp and Grits? How about BACON,BACON,BACON, Shrimp and Grits. No idea what this place is trying to be, but it is failing at it.

Got a 10% discount because our waitress saw our marriott key. Food was good but a bit overpriced.

Cosmopolitan is an affordable upscale restaurant owned by the esteemed by me Tommy Lambrou and his son chef Nikko Lambrou, owner of Landmark Diner Buckhead et al. The facility may be the former Spaghetti Factory... but after a 9-month remodel by contractor Johnny Sparkus and a high 6 figure expenditure, Cosmo is palatial. The food is quite good. I have that night's special: 2 lamb chops, a strip steak and all the trimmings. BONUS: Cosmo has 2 large banquet halls. One has a capacity of 200 two hundred and the other 100. This will become the area destination for wedding receptions and large corporate events. If you think that I'm exaggerating, go by and check it out yourself. When I consider the beautiful facility, good food and attractive pricing, 5 stars is my call. The general manager's name is Igor Mitic.

We've been here several times, this last visit we chose the Cosmo for a cast party. With ten people, the service was quick, friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. My wife is a vegetarian and has tried all three regular v. entrees listed at different times, and enjoyed them all. I had the filet mingon, nicely rare. The drinks - and believe me, our group had plenty - were well poured and measured and we didn't have to wait long between them. There are no desserts on the menu online, which is a shame because you might miss them. There's a display cabinet in the middle of the restautant. The pumpkin creme brulee was delicious, the rest of the desserts looked good as well. The interior is quite spacious and airy - no squeezing between tables to get to the restrooms, and no one at the next table bumping into you when they stand up. The server was very nice and competent, and the manager stopped by to make sure everything was ok. I believe the only mistake in orders for our party of ten was that my mussels, ordered with the red fra diavolo sauce, came with the white wine sauce instead. But you know what? That was good too, and I'm sure if I'd sent it back the replacement would have come quickly. All in all a very pleasant experience. We'll be back again, I'm sure.

Nothing special...chicken Alfredo was about as bland is it comes. Caeser salad was served with cherry tomatoes. Carrot cake tasted like it came from a supermarket bakery. Service was average. Nothing stood out...

I went there last night and met up with a friend. Their special was half off glasses of wine so she ordered wine and enjoyed it especially at the great price! I had a mixed drink and they do measure there so it's not weak or strong. It's a solid two ounce pour. We sat at the bar and the bartender was quite nice. She was attentive and friendly and made conversation with us about football. I ordered a cheeseburger medium and it was actually cooked to temp. Most of the time I order medium and they come out well done. The food was hot and the lettuce, tomato and onion all looked nice and had good flavor. My friend got chicken fingers and I think she liked them but I didn't ask. The place looks nice on the inside and the bar is pretty. The staff is really nice as the hostess opened the door for everyone one coming and going, our bartender was great and the person who I assume was the manager asked how we were doing. The prices are super reasonable. This place could easily accommodate a large group and is family friendly. The bar itself and the tables in that area make for a good happy hour location.

Ambience ---- Mediterranean exterior w/ a modern twist for the interior. It doesn't flow, aesthetically; however, it can work as a great event space. Food --- Terrible! Nothing is fresh! The complementary bread is blah. I orderef the crab cake lunch plate and it looked so unappealing and tasted gross. The whole dish was probably prepackaged frozen. I realized this quickly and ordered chicken parmesan. Sadly, I was disappointed once again. Chicken tasted like the high school lunch kind. The mozzarella was probably sourced from Kroger down the street and the sauce was probably Prego or Ragu. Service -- Good --the staff was accomodating and efficient. Cost - Decent reasonable prices for lunch. I would not visit this restaurant again only because the food is nasty!

This is a great new restaurant. The place looks really nice and upscale. The service was great. Food was really good. My NY Strip came out tender and well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Hardly any fat at all. My wife enjoyed herself. We will be making a return trip. I recommend going.

The outside of the building definitely fools you. I have driven by before thinking that doesn't look all that great. Inside atmosphere completely different. Very spacious tables with plenty of room to have a nice private dinner. Had the muscles with garlic sauce as the appetizer - large portion and very filling. Had a hard time eating my entree which was the mushroom risotto. Risotto was cooked very nicely and could taste the variety of mushrooms. Have had dessert here another time and it was soooo delicious. Three stars is mainly for their service. Each time I've been here the first encounter with wait staff is friendly but then everything seems so slow. Drink and water refills or any additional items take a while to make it to the table. Over all good food a little pricey but lacking on service.

This was my second visit to Cosmopolitan. This time for lunch. It was just as great as the first time. I had the spinach and kale salad. Every ingredient was absolutely fresh and beautifully presented. The staff was friendly and attentive. The manager was visible and helpful. This place is a keeper!

We love this place. Great food, great service & great prices. The manager is just a delight. Can't believe that it once was the Spaghetti Warehouse. Very, very well decorated, too boot!

I dined at this restaurant Sunday night and I was greatly disappointed. There weren't many customers - 3 tables were occupied. I thought this was strange, but quickly dismissed it. I figured with limited guests the service would be fast, so I stayed. I was wrong. The service was slow, the food was not very good and gnats were flying continuously around my food. I inquired from the server about this problem and was told they can't seem to get rid of them and they constantly fly around the wine. Hearing this was repulsive and quickly made me ill. I'm sure this issue is prevalent in the kitchen. I do not plan to return to this restaurant.

Made a reservation and didn't need one apparently. When we got there people who walked in after us were seated before us. To start the table was uneven and rocked, that is the simplest yet most annoying thing to have start the meal. Bread, butter and flavored oil was served right away. Our table got the crab cakes, market catch (sea bass), calamari, bacon wrapped scallops, and blackened salmon. We ordered the calamari and it was delicious, a touch salty but that went well with the sauces. it was a lot of calamari but for $9 it was fair priced. The Sea Bass was the market dish and it sounded good but the waitress didn't mention it had fennel in the sauce, it was a pretty distinct taste and had she mentioned it we wouldn't have ordered it. Not a fan of fennel/licorice. Should have come with more pasta. The blackened salmon was seasoned well and was very good may have been a touch well done. Bacon wrapped scallops was cooked to perfection, not over cooked but the bacon was too salty and left the scallops a touch too salty. The Crab cakes were a huge let down, two small (think golf ball) sized crab cakes that was mostly breading and not much crab, I would not get this again. Overall the calamari, scallops, and salmon was good. The sea bass was also good if you liked fennel. The crab cakes was a definite no no. Service was slow and the wait staff didn't seem to have dedicated sections, they were spread out throughout the floor. Had to ask for refills instead of it happening automatically. Overall the service just seemed disorganized.

I live in the area, and love that this place is near by! My girlfriends and I have come by in large groups and they are always able to seat us right away and give us drinks. the drinks are AWESOME!! I love the variety!! The couple times, and I do mean few, that my husband and I have come just us, the bartender remembered what drinks we ordered...like over a month ago! I don't know, that REALLY impressed me. I can't remember what I ate for breakfast yesterday! The bartenders are willing to make you whatever you like and are super nice about it. I love love love this place. Oh, and the food is excellent!! The decor is really really strange though. None of it quite makes sense or ties together. I guess I watch too much "restaurant impossible" so I'm too critical. ha ha ha Go to this place, you'll agree...it's good! Oh, and the desserts are soooooooooooooooooooo good!

Overall I'm underwhelmed. The service was slow. We waited 20 minutes for our drinks which were great. 30 minutes or more for food which was under-seasoned pseudo-french and pseudo-italian fair. My crab cakes were over-priced and 90% bread and celery. The crab wasn't fresh and the crab cakes were shot-glass sized despite the 25 price tag. Seems a bit excessive for two of them and bland mashed potatoes topped with raw veggies.. The decor was great other than the disjointed artwork. I doubt I will visit again.

Clean, friendly staff, very good food. The one issue that I had is that although the restaurant is not quite fine dining it seems that they are trying to be. This is not to discourage anyone from coming here the food was good but the prices should be brought down . My $28.00 steak was good but it was not a $28.00 steak it was a 18.00 steak

Incredibly fresh , the manager was attentive & made sure I was comfortable and happy . Antoinette at the bar has the best sense of humor . By the time my delicious dinner arrived I felt as if I was carried away to a hotel on vacation . The quality of food was amazing for the value.
