I've been a fan of Chipotle for as long as I can remember and the food is good, give me corn salsa and I'll be your best friend for life, but this location as many others, is just okay... I'm always fascinated how a simple burrito can turn into a mammoth foil wrapped meal by the time you check out. I wish they would offer junior sizes like Moes, it's hard to finish a burrito in one sitting and they don't hold up very well for next day eating. But tacos are a good option for something smaller, but they pack those full as well. When this location is hopping(busy) the line is long and the workers tend to speed you through the line and not listen to your requests. This has happened to me and I've asked them to take some of the toppings off because they can become too much. I mean you get one spoon of rice, half a spoon of beans, half a pound of cheese on your burrito if you don't stop them, two spoons of sourcream (plop plop....thanks...), a spoon of salsa, half a spoon of corn salsa, and about 5 small pieces of lettuce... I constantly find myself asking for more lettuce... But overall good place for a burrito, burrito bowl, or tacos. Doesn't seem like anything new will be added to the menu in my life time. It's also great they stay open to 10pm (why does almost everything in marietta close at 9pm). There's plenty of parking at this location as it's located in the merchant walk shopping center so don't be afraid to walk if there's nothing up close. Other than that play candy crush on your phone if the line is long and get it TO GO!!!!!!

Everytime I go to this location they are out of something, ALWAYS out of veggies which is annoying because I don't get meat in my bowl. Also, almost always out of chips. I'd rather go to the Roswell Road location.

I am prepared to write to the Health Department about this Chipotle location and here's why: On both recent visits, the ceiling vents and canned lighting fixtures have been caked in thick dirt/dust/grime. But, worse than that for a restaurant boasting of a perfect score on their last inspection is that each time, condensation from the ventilation system was causing big droplets to fall onto, into, and near the rice in the food prep station on the left and the plastic baskets with paper liner near the register on the right. Each visit, I mentioned it to the staff. To their credit, they immediately brought out a ladder and wiped down the vent over the rice. But, they didn't replace the rice. They didn't offer to make my meal from rice that was in the back and hadn't been placed under this sick science experiment. And between the first visit and the second, they didn't appear to have taken any corrective action to prevent germ-laden water drops from falling into people's food or into the baskets for food. I didn't order food the first visit. After reporting the incident, I walked out. Today, I asked that my food be prepared with rice from the back. I left my card for the owner to contact me and assure me as to the steps they will be taking to correct this. If I don't hear back, I'll be following up with the Health Department. Until they fix this, I won't be returning and I would suggest you look up before you order and determine for yourself how safe the rice is to eat or to serve your children. Good luck!

Great tasting food and substantial portions. I read some reviews online on how to order the best burritos. And one advice was to order the burrito bowl and get two tortillas on the side for no extra charge. They were out of barbacoa meat this time, which was unusual since it was pretty early and that's what my wife usually likes to eat. I always like the chicken bowl with black beans. Although I read that if you mix the beans, you can get a little extra. I also like to get the roasted fajita peppers. They were also missing the corn salsa this time, so I had to mix the corn and salsa separately which also seemed odd. One thing I dislike is that they never give you enough lettuce. I ALWAYS have to ask for extra. My wife ordered in front of me, and after I looked at her bowl I told her she should ask for some more lettuce. And she replied that she already had, which is pretty sad if you ask me. But besides that shortcoming, the food itself is excellent and the portion sizes are sufficient. So overall I'm pretty happy with the restaurant.

pretty standard chipotle (for the most part). I would have to say in recent experiences, this chipotle has got a bit downhill. the portions used to be generous or at least 'standard' amount. but that was about a few years back. as of now, this location has slowly become stingy with their portions. not to mention the staff change like everyday and they all seem to have their own idea of a standard portion. therefore, the portions here are very inconsistent. some days you might be lucky to get someone who scoops way too much. then there's those days you barely have enough to get full. like I said before, the staff here are plentiful. I've never seen the same face (except for one guy that works cashier). the staff are friendly for the most part. and then there's some of them that need to work on manners. the only reason I even visit this location is due to convenience. if that wasn't a factor, then I'd much rather visit several other chipotles rather than this one.

Service is terrible. Both my husband and I have had bad experiences several times. Seems like the staff doesn't want to be there. Last time my husband went in the lady helping him gave him a hard time because he wanted extra chicken. Will be going to the location in kennesaw even though it is a little further.

I'm a huge fan of Chipotle burrito bowls and just recently realized that you can get tortillas on the side! Makes it extra yummy. Typically I can save half of the burrito bowl for later but the last time we went it seems like they have really cut down on their portion sizes. It's good for the waistline, but if you were planning on saving some for leftovers, you might want to make alternate plans for your next meal. In general (and this is not specific to this Chipotle location), I think Chipotle needs to start thinking about offering chips and dip for free to compare with Willys and Moes. Not that I've had great experiences with the Moes in the area...but the one on Johnson Ferry DOES have a drive thru which is helpful when you have two kids and really don't feel like getting out of the car to pick up dinner for the night.

Crowded and very poor selection of toppings! No choices for salsa either. Be prepared to sit at tiny tables, elbow to elbow with other customers as well as those standing in the line to order. Also be prepared for a long wait line, especially at lunchtime an on week-ends! Never returning here! Yuck!

So bummed! Very excited to try for the first time. All the tables were very dirty and there were way too many people doing nothing for it to be such a messy place. Cashier yelled at person making food because we stood waiting for so long and she was not called up. All she had to do was look up. We were 20 ft away. Guy in kitchen was picking teeth with finger but he did wash hands after and put on gloves. Not something I would go out of my way for again.

Chipotle is a chain of eateries that makes fresh-cooked burritos, tacos, salads, and burrito bowls (the contents of a burrito in a bowl instead of wrapped in a tortilla). There are various options for rice (white or brown), beans (black or pinto), meats (chicken, pork (carnitas), barbacoa (pulled beef), and steak), and a variety of typical toppings (salsa, lettuce, cheese, guacamole, etc.) I always get a burrito bowl, and I've always found the ingredients to taste fresh and fresh-cooked, too. The chips with lime-salt are tasty! This place can get pretty busy on Saturdays around lunch, but at other times, it's a solid lunch/linner spot. And bonus for me -- a burrito bowl lasts 2 meals! Woohoo!

Awesome staff. Fast. Fresh. Now I know its a bit odd to review a Chipotle (because its a chain) but I just love this location. I must confess, I go here a lot. Like a lot. This is my go-to place when I need something fast and cheap. I love Chipotle because of their fresh ingredients & fast service. Side bonus, its easy to stay paleo here!!! I just order a salad with NO rice or beans and double meat. Oh how I miss that cilantro-lime rice... Bottom line, this place is great and I have always found the staff to be extra accommodating (even for the jackholes who ask "more rice" or "can I get some more...").

Have to second that to-go is the way to go at this location -- especially when the weather makes the little patio off limits. Addition to the inside being cramped the music is WAY too loud on many occasions. I mean so loud it you have to yell over it to place your order. "BLACK BEANS! CHICKEN! PICO! WHAT? No..PICO! yes.." It is comical, but I guess if it helps the staff keep moving at speed, no harm, no foul. You just can't sit and eat and have a conversation. Prep is usually pretty good but have gotten the occasional rookie burrito maker who just makes a mess, doesn't know how to save it with a SECOND tortilla. Burrito bowl is probably the best way too go more stuff, less calories. And to the folks expecting "double meat" if they leave out beans and/or rice -- do you also expect two hot dogs in a bun from QT if you leave out onions and relish? Don't be greedy. Besides, beans and brown rice are good for you.

This place had a short line and was otherwise like every other Chipotle there is. That is -- delicious. Pro-tip: Go with everything and don't complain. I always enjoy seeing the look on the burrito bowl makers face when I say, "everything" when they inquire which salsas I want. Yes, this is my subtle way of stickingittotheman or whatever. But also, a delicious way to get more value for my 7.85 or whatever. Why do we still deal with change?!?

Can't get enough of this place. Love it. Not enough seating for busy location (like Sandy Springs location).

This location has really lost touch with what it means to be part of the Chipotle family. The workers are agitated, and the place is not clean any more. I suspected a one time issue, but the last 5 times we've been here they have really skimped on the food. I'm talking a quarter cup of rice, then they get frustrated when you ask for more. They are literately serving less than half the portions they were before. Sad. I won't be back to this one.

I don't really have much to say--this is a standard Chipotle restaurant. I always get the chicken bowl with a tortilla on the side, and it is always about the same at every Chipotle I go. The service has been a bit slow both times I've gone, but I can't complain if I'm comparing to the wait times in DC. It's a solid fast food restaurant at reasonable prices, but nothing I would feel the need to write home about.

Good food, but then I noticed the roaches. Floor was covered in food. No lemons available at drink station, no forks available, and no room in trash can when finished. Skip this place and head to the one by Cumberland mall instead. Visited on 7/22/2012 at 2:45 pm.

I love myself a good burrito, and have been searching for a good place for quite some time. My friends and I used to go to Moe's quite a bit for lunch when we worked together, and while I thought it was all right, it never quite fit the bill. We finally checked out Chipotle, and I have to say that they do a damn good burrito. They have a large selection of meats, which (of what I tried) were really good. I was definitely happy to see more than just your standard: 'beef', 'chicken', and 'veggie'. The other fillings are pretty standard - rice, beans, cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo, etc. In the end, I had a carnitas (yummy pork!) burrito with brown rice, pinto beans, and a bunch of other fillings. All in all, it was exceptionally good. Easily the best burrito I've had from a chain restaurant. One thing that I really like about this place is that they offer some healthier options compared to other similar places. For example, their great selection of meats are all hormone and steroid free, free range, etc. They also offer brown rice and wheat tortillas. My main complaint is that they are a bit expensive compared to their main competition, don't give you free chips and salsa ... and charge an outrageous $1.80 for guacamole in your burrito. All that aside, however, I had great food and great service, and will be coming back!

I love chipotle. It's a great go-to spot. Staff here is friendly, too. But i think whoever designed the layout and seating at this location sucks at his/her job. Never seen a more awkward setup of seating. The line of people literally hovers next to you while you sit and eat. Nice. Get the food to go.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
