This is just to save other people the painful sickness I'm experiencing right now. I had to force myself to eat a few bites of the food, and now I'm at home with terrible stomach cramps, and I don't know what's going to happen next. :(

The wife and I both went to the bathroom to brush our teeth after eating takeout. We'll through the rest away. Not sure what is bad but I hope we don't get sick. We had Sweet & Sour Pork, Beef Broccoli, fried rice & Spring roll. Yuck!

Went there for a lunch special. Menu is your standard Americanized fare. The hot and sour soup is better than average. The Hun-an dish I ordered was actually spicy! Fried rice was kind of bland - I'd recommend the white rice at lunch. Large servings. The lady was extremely nice and good service.

Nope. had delivery and the food was oily and bland. We tried to give them a shot in spite of the reviews... big mistake!

This is the only Chinese restaurant I ever go to. The food is great and the staff is friendly. What else can one ask for? The general tso's chicken is my favorite. The prices are decent too. Good job guys!

Don't listen to the negativity. It's not gourmet dining but they do have tasty food. They make their own egg rolls...not frozen. The chicken wings were really good and we ordered some to take home with us. The people who order from this place regularly need to write reviews because it doesn't deserve the bad reviews it's getting. It's our new go to Chinese place! Bonus: the lady who works there (or owns) is super sweet.

Been eating there for close to 10 years. They make some of the best food. I have read some of the older reviews and know the owner took over cooking because of labor issues. The food is and always has been great. I take family and friends there all the time.

Well-meaning acquaintances recommended China Dynasty when we moved to the neighborhood. Clearly, they have no affinity for Chinese food. If you go to the trouble to read reviews before trying, my advice here is, is 'keep looking.' Our meals were over-cooked, poorly seasoned ... reminiscent of a prepackaged frozen Chinese meal. And yet -- China Dynasty has a pretty substantial lunch crowd! No accounting for taste.

As of writing this review, the place has a composite rating of two and a half stars. This is generous. It is not an exaggeration to say that this was the worst, most tasteless food I've had in *years*. Not only that, but the vegetable fried rice I wound up ordering was almost impossible to get. I didn't WANT vegetable fried rice, but I had to settle. I settled because of this exchange: Me: "Could I please have the pineapple fried rice with tofu?" Lady: "It comes with shrimp and pork." Me: "Right, well... could you put tofu in it, instead?" Lady: "We make it with shrimp and pork." Me: "...Yes, well, could you just.. not put that in?" Lady: "No." So instead I tried to order vegetable fried rice, with pineapple, cashew, and the other pineapple fried rice trappings. Lady: "This fried rice has soy sauce inside." Me: "I.. I just.." Lady:: "You want pineapple fried rice?" And so I just gave the fuck up, and later I was rewarded for my patience with painful stomach cramps that I was pretty sure were going to be food poisoning. And before you think it's just the rice that was terrible, I tried my step-brother's dish (garlic string beans), and it was completely tasteless. Even the fortune cookies were bad, and the tea was basically just brownish water. Flee.

Excellent . I moved here from Boston and this place could hold its own even back North. The food is fresh and clean with no MSG. Try the Satay special. It is family owned and the owner gets to know all of his customers as well.

I'm *NOT* amused... This place used to be really good. They used to have a great atmosphere and have really quite good food. I say used to because I bought my father here for dinner on his birthday, and they definitely aren't, anymore. I should clarify somewhat... I lived around here and have been coming to this shop since they opened. Back then, they did some pretty good chinese. Take out was good, as was eat in. When my dad and I came in here on the 16th, however, I found that it was in sad shape. The only reason they get two stars from me on this review, and not one, is that the customer service was Meh, and the food wasn't horrible. I'm still inclined to go with just one star, but I'll stick with this anyway. The place was relatively clean, but when I checked out the food safety score, I found that they last got a 73 on the safety review. I don't recall what the various violations were that they had, but there were several of them, and at least one or two were repeat offenses. The fish tanks were both VERY dirty, and one of them had a smaller plastic tank inside it filled with goldfish, but it was clear that the goldfish were *NOT* being fed, as they were eating dead fish inside that tank. The water in both tanks was very cloudy. While this isn't really a bad thing from the standpoint of the food, it seems rather telling to me about the care they give to their store. My food was overcooked all around, and it's really not that hard to cook sweet and sour pork or fried rice. My father seemed rather happy with his food, however. If you have a hankering for chinese food, I would recommend going elsewhere for it.

Good service, decent food, looks pretty clean inside. There never seem to be many people dining when we visit, but that may be because we tend to eat dinner a little early. Take away and delivery service too. There's nothing particularly outstanding (thus far), but when we're in the mood for a decent Chinese meal, it's been a pretty good choice.

Not a bad place. On the night we were there, it looked like they did most of their business as take out / delivery. The atmosphere could be better. The customer service was great. The food was decent, but nothing to write home about.

This is a restaurant that has been in a downward spiral for years. It's almost as if the ownership doesn't care anymore or is too overconfident to be bothered with criticism. My last meal here was a gritty plate of fried shrimp. The shrimp had not been deveined and tasted muddy, almost as if the message was that no one would notice this disaster hiding underneath the fried breading. I am not sure if they still do the buffet, but our last visit to it was just as horrific. Like some others have mentioned, the food has grown tasteless and now that we have discovered the absolute gems of authentic Chinese food in Chamblee and Duluth, we have no reason at all to waste our hard-earned money on places like this. So-called "Americanized" Chinese food, while hardly my personal favorite (I prefer authenticity), can be good when prepared with heart, soul, and pride, know that you will find none of the above at China Dynasty; not in the service, the decor, or the product. If you don't want to travel for the exceptional choices available down I285/I85, than make the effort to go to Bamboo China Bistro on Roswell Road instead. Not only will your visit result in a better experience, your stomach will thank you.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
