We went here on a Friday night with friends on the recommendation of a few of my friends. I must admit that walking in here, you get the feeling that it's a jazzed up old Western Sizzler - and it pretty much is. Perhaps I'm a snob, but here's my honest review. I found the wine list to be very small compared to the overall menu. The menu is like a book and the presentation is a bit cheesy - pictures of food, kind of diner-like. I know this restaurant is owned by the same people that own Marietta Diner and a few other restaurants. This is supposed to be a steakhouse and it feels like they took the diner business process and feel and plopped it down in a steak-housey type of building. Anyway, I thought the service was good, but my husband remarked (in the car on the way home) that he felt our server could have been more attentive. We had drinks at the bar before the rest of our party arrived and the bartenders were friendly, nice and helpful. Like I said, the menu is huge and overwhleming and very diner-like. Not like a typical steakhouse. The prices are lower than a typical steakhouse, but the quality of food matches the price. I had a filet with shrimp and loaded mashed potatoes. It was fine for the price we paid. They brought out some cheese bread and it seemed to be dressed up pre-baked hoagie rolls with shredded cheese. I wasn't all that impressed with the bread. The desserts are another area that they seemed to copy the diner concept - and they have a dessert case with those huge cakes you typically find at a diner. We shared one and I found that it looked yummier than it actually tasted. My husband had some huge cowboy ribeye, can't remember what side item he chose. He was not impressed with his steak and another person in our party got the ribs and she was not pleased. In the end, our dinner came to about $80 (for myself & my husband) and that seemed pricey for the quality of food we had. We did order a glass of wine & a beer, but the price of dinner was on par with what we'd pay at a nicer steakhouse with better quality food. I don't think we'll be back anytime soon :(

Wow! I have been wanting to go here for a while but I don't like to take the kids to new places, fortunately the stars aligned tonight and all my munchkins were away. My husband and I ordered the potato skins to start. I thought we would get the standard small size potato skins but that was not the case, each "skin" was like half a baked potato! My husband and I only at one a piece and loading the rest in a to-go box. They also bring bread to the table which was quite good, and of course I ordered steak b/c you can't go to a steakhouse and not get steak! It was Super Yummy! Overall I was VERY pleased with our first experience here! I will be going back with the kids!

Best BBQ ribs to come out of the Marietta area! The ribs are so sweet and tender they literally FALL OFF THE BONE! Order anything on the menu and you will be pleased with great grilled taste of anything you desire. The environment is is very nice. Food is a little over priced but it is total worth it. Coupons are always available in local coupon books. In all CCC is one of the best restraunts in Cobb county.

This place is owned by the same Greek family that own Marietta Fish Market and Marietta Diner. And just like with those two places, you get a ton of food. The Chicken Tenders are very very good and some of the best I have ever had anywhere. I know it is a steak house, but man, I can't not order these when I go there. I haven't even tried the steak there yet.

Our first visit there. Just won a cool contest and some cash, so I thought we'd splurge for steaks. Knew of this place because of the Marietta Diner, which is closer to us. Checked out yelp before we went, and seemed like a good choice, so we headed up yonder. Yonder, cause it's 30 minutes from where we live. The Super Bowl was on, so it was not real busy. Lots of seating, and we got a good table. I ordered the NY Strip, and my wife got the NY Strip and Lobster combo. First off, my steak was the toughest medium temp NY strip I've ever had. Almost more like a sirloin. My wife's was loaded with fat, and mostly unedible and chewy. The lobster? Like rubber. I was extremely disappointed overall. The server was attentive, and seemed to know the menu very well. But it's the fact we both paid around $20 a piece for steaks that were no better than Longhorn that we won't be back. (To be fair the manager comped $11.50, considering my wife ate only a few bites of her steak and sent it back after cutting into it and only seeing fat throughout the whole thing.)

I really like this place, we had a great steak, prepared just right, and the service was amazing! The place was clean and nice! Prices are fair as well!

Love this place! The only negative is that the menu is so large, I can never decide what I want. the steak is always great. The Mac and cheese is amazing. The dessert, well lets just say that you have to try it for yourself. It's a great family place or a great place for a casual date.

We decided to try out this place for New Year's Eve dinner, not wanting to deal with all of the reservations and prix fix menu's that were ITP for the celebration evening. When we got there, the parking lot was pretty packed, but we got rock star parking and were seated within 5 minutes. The hostess placed us in a mini-booth by the bar area. We did not mind, we came to regret this seat later. As we were seated, we noticed a board that had some fantastic drink specials. We decided to each try one of the drinks - they were great deals and the verbal description sounded excellent! Some Cattle Drink and a Mango blend proved to extremely flavorful. They were served in tall hurricaine glasses. So, this is where the problem comes in. The mini booth table is not secure. More than a few times as we are sitting there, when my husband moved his size 15 feet, the base of the table was moved. Add in a tall, thin hurricaine glass and we have a PROBLEM. What ends up occuring is that the glass went tumbling, fell, broke and spilled out onto the table into my lap. No one came to assist us, no one noticed. I cleaned up the entire mess, consolidated all of the broken glass into the remaining glass, used my napkin, etc. No one came. When someone came to drop off our food, we showed them the broken glass (half of the drink was in it before it fell). They did not ask if we were OK, what happened, if they could replace the drink, etc. They just took the broken glass and moved on. I ordered the Western Luau Ribeye with loaded mashed potatoes as the side and caesar salad as the starter. We noticed that it was only an additional $6 to add a piece of salmon (lunch for tomorrow), so we added it on. The steak was cooked to a true medium (I have found that is a lost art). The potatoes were not good. I asked them to hold the chives, they did not. My husband ordered the prime rib with the loaded mashed potatoes. Someone ranted on about the ribs, so he added on a side of a small side of ribs for $6. He noticed after we placed our order that none of the folks around us had touched our potatoes, we see why. He loved the prime rib. The ribs were... eh.

We went here for an anniversary dinner. Nice atmosphere, great service, their was lots of food but it was nothing special. I had the Cowboy Trio, 3 types of ribs, the brisket was not edible. Other 2 were ok, but I didn't like the bbq sauce, tasted mostly like ketchup. My husband had the prime rib. He wasn't impressed. We were disappointed. It was the most overpriced meal we had that we didn't really enjoy. We might make it back there and try something different, but it will be a while before we go back.

Impressed with this local steakhouse. Stopped by for lunch & the portions were more than far. I enjoyed their BBQ slides (on lunch special). The fries and ribs looked great. Huge dessert case but more isn't always better. I've have to try several desserts to find their best feature!

OMG, the best steaks outside of Texas. The garlic butter strip is to die for. The kids love the cheese bread and kids sirloin. Would eat there all the time if we could.

Very good. I was going to just give four stars because although everything was good, it wasn't extraordinary. However, I couldn't have asked that any of our meals to have been any better. I had a combo platter with pulled pork, brisket and ribs. The ribs literally fell off the bones. There sauce was good, although perhaps some choices would have been nice. Theirs was a vinegar based sauce. The brisket was thinly sliced and moist and tender. The pulled pork might have been a little tougher than some I have had but was plenty good. My wife had the prime rib medium rare and loved it. Said it couldn't have been any better. She said it could be a little salty for some folks, but that could have been the au-ju, which they pour over it as well as in a bowl on the side. She also had "loaded" mac & cheese, which simply consisted of bacon bits on top. We both had French onion soup rather than the salad and we both liked it a lot. Rich flavor but still lighter than some places. There menu is quite large. Everything you would expect from a steakhouse plus the barbeque selections. They also had a daily specials page in the front of the menu. We went on a Sunday afternoon around 4PM and the main dining area was practically empty. There was a large party in a rear area separate from the main area. Servers were prompt and friendly. Then of course there are the deserts! Same deserts as their sister restaurants, Past Bella, Marietta Diner and Marietta Fish Market. I brought home a slice of Red Velvet Cheesecake that I hadn't seen before but at the time of this writing I was still too full to eat it. Price is again about what you would expect. We had a third guest with us, so three entrees, three drinks and three deserts came up to just under $90. Of course the deserts run about $7 each. We would certainly go back.

Do I love meat? Yes, yes I do. Do I love CCC? HELL YEAH, baby. Went here on a fairly busy night, before Christmas, just hadn't gotten to the reviewing yet. I had a steak that was crusted with black pepper and served with au jus. There was so much deliciously medium rare meat that I brought it home with me. And ate it the next day. Cold. Off a fork. Like a cold meat popscicle. The way a good steak leftover should be eaten. The steak soup was OK, I shoulda gone salad, honestly. Because GuyShawn's salad looked pretty tasty. It was busy that night, but definitely worth the wait. If I'm out that way again, I'm definitely hitting up the Cattle Co. Oh, the parking lot is pretty microscopic. So carpool this one. Save the trees and the gas. :-D

I have yet to have a bad meal here. Their steaks are awesome and their sides are right on par with them. Service is ever-present without being pushy and they do a good job at keeping drinks filled. Definitely an excellent dinner spot. Check it out!

Let me start by saying I created an account just for this restaurant. The hubby and I first ate here about a year ago at lunch time and discovered they had a great prime rib lunch deal, something like 9.99 8oz prime rib. We also had a sampler appitizer, the wings were awesome and so were the chicken tenders, not a huge fan of honey mustard but theirs is awesome. Our food was all great, right down to the perfectly prepared medium-rare prime rib. We have gone back several times since then when we are in the area. Here is where the two stars comes into play. Our last two visits have been enough to make us not want to go back. About 2 months ago we came in for dinner, noticed the changes to the dining room, which looked much nicer so we figured the food would be great as always. We both ordered the usual prime rib and appitizer. (As a side note prime rib is the only time we both order the same thing, usually we order two separate things, and swap half way so we can try a variety of things.) The appitizer came out and I cant reallly say what changed, but the wings were not not as good as they had been in the past (not just lack of flavor..they were also significantly smaller), and the chicken tenders were not good either, the honey mustard was still good though. When the entree came out we had ordered mixed veggies, but all we got was squash on the plate. I will say the waiter was very attentive and brought us both out steamed brocoli instead (guess they ran out of the medley?), and the manager came over and everything to see what the issue was, which is good. The waiter did a good job rectifying the situation and didnt charge us for the extra brocc. The service was excellent but the food just wasnt as good as all of our previous visits. Last week we went in for a late lunch and again got prime rib but instead of the sampler ordered chicken tenders as an appetizer, they were blah. All it was for 4 tenders and a basket of fries. Not sure what I was hoping for? Maybe more chicken? My brother was with us and he also ordered the prime rib, but we both got the 12 oz and he got the 8 oz. First let me say that when they came out they were all the same size, which looked to be a little small if you asked me. And second they all came out not being pink at all when we all ordered it medium rare. I tried to deal with it but it tased horrible so we sent it back, the waitress had no problem taking it back likely because it was very apparent it was over cooked. She did bring back great medium-rare steaks but again I have to say, they all looked the same size to me even though there was supposed to be a 4oz diifference. Ok so the meal was less than perfect, I understand it wont be perfect everyday, but the service, horrible. We have both worked in restaurants before, so we know everyone has a bad day every now and then. Our waitress was on her phone texting or talking most of the time. I have no problem with either one, but it is a little unprofessional to be texting in front of customers in my opinon. Especially if we asked twice for something and she didnt bring it to us until my hubby walked over to her, while she was texting, and asked for it, she said "SHIT" and then we finally got what we were asking for. In all of our experience working in restaurants she just wasnt fit to be a server. Bad service, and the food just not up two par on our last two visits means we are taking a break from here for quite a long time.

Visited Cherokee Cattle Company for the first time. Not a huge steak eater but my husband certaintly is. I didn't find anything on the menu that I really wanted to try so I got the baked potatoe soup. Disappointed. Wasn't creamy but greasy. Not much to taste. I asked for extra green onions to add more flavor. The picture in the menu looked alot better. My husband had the ribeye. It looked good and tasted good but my hubby said NOT. Remember, I am not a big steak eater. Hubby says the steak came no where close to Stony Rivers. I told him I wouldn't rank this place in the same category with Stony Rivers. From ambience to food, two totally different restuarants.

This is one of the chain places owned by the mafia (you laugh, but I swear they do) who also own Marietta Fish Market, Marietta Diner, Pasta Bella, and probably a few more. Don't let that scare you though, the mob love good food, so it's par for the course the food is good here. It's a very rustic, western style theme inside, lots of wood, plenty of antique artifacts from the good ol' days, lots of character, makes you feel like you're in a nicer version of Longhorn, Roadhouse, or one of those places. It's big inside too, tons of rooms lead all over and it's rarely so crowded that you have to wait, if so it's just a short one. Staff is on point with knowledge of the menu and how it's all prepared, which is a plus. The menu is simple, not confusing, and everything can be mixed and matched to order so you're not forced one way or the other. The food though is why you go out to eat, and it's good. I wouldn't put the steaks up against Olde Mill (sadly, they're gone) but they're a very good cut, cooked to order without overdoing it, and have good flavor. Sides are all good too (I haven't tried many, I don't eat veggies) but I've never heard complaints from people I go with. It's not too bad pricey either and you get a ton of food for what you order, and they always seem to have coupons online and send birthday specials to returning customers. That's cool.

Great steak and chop restaurant, although they also have seafood. Very casual and a fun eating out experience. Recently taken over by the knowledgeable folks that run the Marietta Diner. I had the ribs which were cooked to perfection with tasty bbq sauce. Other members of my party had the pork chops, steak sandwich and salmon diner. Everyone was very pleased as all the food was excently prepared. Service was terrific. They have the same large portion signature cakes as the Marietta Diner. Great meal with reasonable prices for the fare. Recommended for the steaks and chops which are truly exceptional.

Lackluster service tonight from "DeAndre." He just wasn't paying attention at all. When taking our drink orders, I requested unsweet tea with lemon. He returned with the tea (no lemons) and my hubby's Coke. He said, he has to get the kids' ginger ale from the bar, so he'll bring my lemons then. Fair enough. Kids got their drinks (which were HUGE and overfilled for little kids), but no lemons. He sat down the drinks and said, let me get you more straws. Before we could tell him "we have plenty of straws", he was gone. When he returned to take our food order, I reminded him of the lemons, and my husband asked for an ice water. He also mentioned bringing bread during the drink ordering process, but that never came. I finally got my lemons, but had to remind him of the bread, which came mere minutes before our entrees. After our food was set before us, he came by to see what else we needed. He then said to my hubby, oh, I'll bring your water now that you're food is here. My salad arrived with the wrong dressing. Then, I asked for A1 sauce, and he brought me Heinz 57. The guy was half-asleep, I guess. At the end of the meal, he said, "thanks for bearing with me...as soon as you sat down...blah blah blah." (Really don't know what excuses he was going on about, but he apparently realized his shortcomings.) Kids were getting unruly, so I asked for strawberry cheesecake to go. When it arrived, my son mentioned that it was my birthday. The server could not have cared less. When he delivered the check, he offered to bring "the kids something" since you get free cheesecake on your birthday. He just really wasn't into doing his job, I suppose. As for the food, it was pretty good. I went with cheesecake in mind (which is delicious...but where the hell is the crust? That is the best part)... but for steak and potato meals, we will stick with Longhorn.

Ate dinner at the CCC this past Sunday. though my date intimated we shouldn't go, we did. My ribs were served just this side of stone cold and had to be sent back. Chicken tenders were ok, but I'm not a chicken tenders fan. Service was good and he knew his stuff. For the price, I found the food average at best. Personally, I think the menu selection is too large and needs to be scaled back. then they can concentrate on the food. I can go to Texas Road House , pay less money and get a better meal.

I recently ate at the Cherokee Cattle Company (post-Marietta Diner) and it was a decent place. The salad and sides were really good and I would highly recommend the sweet potato french fries, they were excellent. I thought my steak was below average to average. I will go back here, but likely stick to a sandwich/burger, side, and a salad.

Hubby and I were hesitant to try CCC again after a 2-year hiatus. We had a bad experience back then with both the food and the service, and decided there were much better options around. Anyway, we decided to give it another try last night and I'm glad we did. We had to wait aboout 20 minutes for a table, but once we were seated our service was prompt and friendly. I had the garlic butter NY Strip and hubs had the prime rib. I usually opt for filet when it comes to steak, but the menu description of the NY Strip with a touch of garlic butter, served with two stuffed mushrooms and choice of potato sounded like just what I needed. Hello, yum!! I ordered it med. rare and it was slightly overdone, but still tender and flavorful. The prme rib was great as well. Even our son's chicken fingers were good. We even went home with two slices of their mile-high cakes - carrot cake and chocolate mousse cake. I swear we'll be eating on those pieces of cake for 3 days! HUGE!! But so delicious.

After a disastrous fire shut them down for a month, they got bought by new owners and while the new menu is fine and the food is good, something was lost that couldn't have the soot washed off of it and made all better. It seems too much like the Marietta Diner (which I like, but for different reasons) and not enough like the Cattle Company now. Alas. Still fine for those who hadn't been before and wouldn't know the difference.

Been going to CCC for years. Glad things haven't changed too much since the Marietta Diner folks took over. Great ribs, chicken fingers, hamburgers. Chicken Finger Salad with homemade ranch dressing is excellent. Can't pass up a slice of carrot cake to go afterwards.

Over the years that I've lived here I have always heard great things about Cherokee Cattle Company, but I've simply never been in the area near meal time and wasn't going out of my way. After finally being there a couple times in the past couple weeks, I regret the wait! This place is excellent. They have the best damn door closers anywhere! LOL (you'll see what I mean when you go). Good sized menu with quite the variety. I've always heard great things about their steaks although I do not have the experience to brag about yet. Their seafood which I've had both times are great and they give large servings! Plan on having a second meal for yourself or the dogs! I hear this was recently bought out by the Marietta Diner owner. It IS now marked with the cooler full of the 100lb cakes when you walk in the door. The good news is, the waiters/waitresses simply do NOT have ANY of the Marietta Diner's attitude!!! (as of yet....let's say a prayer now.....) I couple more visits and I am confident that this will be moving up to 5 stars.

I love this place! To be fair, I've only eaten at it since the Marietta Diner company took over, but I think the food is really fantastic. The baked potato soup is great! The steaks are all mesquite grilled and quite tasty, even to someone like me who isn't a steak person. But you must save room for dessert, or at least get some to go. Tastified!

We had a very good experience at Cherokee Cattle Co. We had a party 12 and our server, Debbie, was great. She was very quick and attentive to our needs. We will definitely return and ask for Debbie. Thomas, the manager, was also great. He greeted our party as we walked in. He came to check on us several time before, during, and after our meal came. He even offered to take a picture of our group. It's a pleasure to have great service at a restaurant in our area.

We visited on a busy Friday in the rain and were seated quickly. Place was filling up so there was additional noise as well as a large party next to us. Does not bother us, but it may bother some. There was a talented guitar player (playing older things like Classical Gas and Bacharach tunes with a classical guitar vibe) in the patio/bar like area just inside the entrance - more like background music and not overbearing to the customers like I have seen in some places (including this as part of the ambiance). Having been here before on several occasions (but not in the past 6 months), we were expecting the "usual" great steak that we had had in the past. The cheese bread came out on time and the salads were good. Steaks were cooked to proper temperature, sides were good and nice sized portions I had a strip that was a little too chewy and kept finding gristle where I would not expect it in a strip. I only ate half (I was full) and took the remainder home. I started slicing up the strip as a side for some scrambled eggs the next morning and found a big ribbon of fat running down the length of the strip on the "inside." This along with the gristle that I kept running into told me that the quality of the meat was not what it used to be. If I had seen this while in the restaurant, I would have brought this to the attention of the manager. Service was good and attentive. Not happy that the quality of the meat has suffered - My experience in the past has been that CCC has been a cut above the national chains, and we have steered (no pun intended) our friends to this member of the Marietta Family Restaurants in the past, but now we are hesitant to. I would have dismissed my steak as a fluke, but now that I see similar Yelp comments, I am going to steer clear (pun intended) until the quality of the meat justifies the price.

Great food for a great price and large portion sizes. I recommend any of the sandwiches and the sweet potato fries. Also, make sure to save room for dessert or make sure to take a piece togo they are huge and delicious you won't go wrong with any of them. The service his is very friendly and you get garlic cheese bread before your meal comes out.

I am always in the mood for prime rib! So, after a long night of partying with the best people in the world - I need a steak and some potatoes! I asked my boyfriend to find a place in the area that had good prime rib. So, of course, he went to Yelp! and found the Cherokee Cattle Company. A group of 5 of us came here! Overall, my meal was pretty good. The bread that came out wasn't good to me, at all. The cheesy texas toast sounded so good, until I actually tasted it. There wasn't much flavor in the least. Of course I ordered the prime rib with loaded mashed potatoes and asparagus. My meal came with a soup or salad, so I chose the potato soup! The soup was everything! I actually ate all of it. Since it was early in the day, I got the end cut prime rib cooked medium. Extremly LARGE but most importantly.. freakin' delicious!!!! The waitress we had was a pretty good server. She was also bartending, so it took a while for everyone else's food to come (I ordered before the entire party sat down - so my food came out first), that's why i bumped this place down to 4 stars. All in all, pretty darn good!

Tried again. Not going back. Meat not so good this time either. Service is adequate. Price is ridiculous for the quality served. We are going to stick with the diner and the fish restaurant in this chain. Had peppered steak and hamburger steak. Hamburger meal was fine ....taste and price and value. Steak was lousy in quality and lacked any taste. 52$ includes tip and water to drink.... for lunch!

This place was amazing. The wait staff was incredibly attentive. And the food... Oh my god the food. So insanely amazing. The brisket sandwich was moist and delicious. And the coconut cream pie was HUGE and oh so good. Beware of food coma and tight pants and enormous portions.

Think private label Outback. Food is good, but nothing special. With that said, they recently hosted our girl's soccer team and were very accommodating, setting up special seating in a back room and splitting bills amongst 10 or so checks. Service was very good considering the situation, and we really appreciated them being so helpful to our group.

When first opened in 1985 by Scott and Janis Farr , this restaurant rocked to the rafters ...famous for their cheese toast , hot bacon/ honey mustard salad dressing and mouth watering steaks... EXCELLENT 5 STAR QUALITY ..now the restaurant has been taken over by the Marietta Diner folks...New York Greek/ Hitler style of restaurant management ..High turn over with employees...yes, the Platters and the quantity of food is plentiful but the quality and the atmosphere is little to be desired as with all of their restaurants...if your looking for great steak place...Longhorn Steaks has it all over the CCC and you wont have to deal with any short people (Gus) with hidden agendas.... Lukewarm food and service just ok!

I visited Cherokee Cattle Company on a Saturday at lunchtime. I found the food to be average with slow service. My sirloin steak was a good cut but the temperature wasn't hot. I had a baked potato on the side- meh. The highlight of the meal by far was the Chocolate Suicide cake. Enormous slab of cake with chocolate sauce drizzled on the plate. It had a good flavor but was slightly dry.. It was probably a day or so old.

I had eaten at the old Cherokee Cattle Company years ago when it was so-so. Ate there again today and was truly WOW'd. They've been bought by the Marietta Family Restaurant (MFR) group which should explain everything if you're familiar with the Marietta Diner. They've added parking, remodeled so the flow in and around the restaurant is natural and spacious (there were several tables seating 8 or 10 so it looks like a regular office favorite at lunchtime), and they expanded the menu beyond steaks (Greek salads, chicken dishes and much more). Our steaks at lunch were cooked exactly as ordered, you can taste the Mesquite smoke from the wood fire grill (no sauces required, just flavorful steak). Great appetizers and sides. And best of all, friendly excellent service (Debbie listened to everything we asked for and provided it all without missing a beat). Expect $15-20 per person at lunch (although soups and sandwiches are less expensive) and $25-35 pp for supper. Well worth the price. Excellence at every turn. Will return, frequently.

Food was good but the service was excellent! Our server, Rayna, was quick and very attentive to our needs!

Love this place for dinner. The portions are huge so you will be full when you leave. The food has always been good every time I went. I have had some not so great servers but that doesn't take away from the food quality. I would recommend people to go here just be prepared to be there for a while, they are not the fast with their service.

I just left from this location. I used to come here all of the time and I have just had an experience that will make me turn in my CCC card for life. Our server was nice and my drink was good so I don't have a problem giving this restaurant one star. However, my food was terrible. My salad was frozen and had to be sent back. For my entrée I ordered the ribs and tenders with a loaded sweet potato for the side. The sweet potato tasted as if someone had put musty armpit extract into it and added butter and marshmallows. The tenders were the size of my pinky toe and my ribs were dry. Never again!

One the best steaks I have ever had. The ccc sampler plate was great, except the twice baked potato. That could have been better it was very dry . Didn't go their for the potatoes it's a steak house and that is great.

The service here was absolutely top notch. I would venture to say, the best waiter we have ever had. The food was really good as well. The steak was cooked medium rare, exactly like I ordered, as well as all of the other items that were ordered at the table.

It has been awhile since we last dined here but what has happened to a once pretty good place? We had a birthday dinner here and am embarrassed at my choice. Overall, food quality has gone down. Lower grade steaks and chicken than last visit. Really sad looking salad with slimy tomatoes and greens that looked tired. Cheesecake was grainy and strawberries were hard and not ripe. Service and cheese bread were good. High price for the quality. I would hope owners improve to former glory. I should have known something was not right as we walked in at weekend peak time with no wait. Won't be back.

Honestly This was not that great. Our server was awesome and very friendly, but the food was pretty bland. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant potatoes and were in need of seasoning . . in fact everything we ate needed seasoning. We will not be returning. I am only giving 2 stars because the serves friendliness is the only reason why we stayed. Overpriced for what you get.

I have been coming here for years and I have nothing but excellent service here.. I always sit at the bar and Reanna and Casey specifically give exceptional service to the bar while still taking care of the servers who are taking care of the patrons of the restaurant.

I enjoyed this place completely! I wanted to surprise my boyfriend and I ended up being surprise as well at the end when we were about to leave , the best waiter I've met (Ron) showed up with a huge slice of cheesecake covered with strawberries and chocolate and a candle!!! I was astonished! He had a TBone steak and I had the best Chili ever... My bf thought it was all planned by me, little did he know that we had both been surprised equally! I was having a bad day and this place lifted me up!

The food is awesome and great portions! I haven't found a bad meal here yet. Different managers cycle through as it is part of the Marietta Diner, Pasta Bella & Marietta Fish Market foursome. The food is fast and best servers are Ron and Kicker. I've eaten here no exaggeration about 100 times over the last couple of years due to business and proximity of work. Good kids menu as well! Personal favorites: Chicken Philly Steak Pita with Ranch Black Jack Chicken Burgers Sweet potato fries

Sorry not overly impressed. I was seated elbow to elbow with next table.. My prime rib had at least 4 oz. of waste on it, baked potatoe loaded was dry. One nice thing we were there for husband's birthday and they brought a free slice of cheese cake. Nice jesture!. Oh and noise level makes it hard to have a conversation.

CCC is good, but nothing special. The waitstaff is very good, but everything else is pretty inconsistent. Steaks are amazing sometimes, and unsatisfactory your next visit. The fries you get today may not be the ones you get tomorrow. The burgers are always good, and really the best value on the entire menu. On weekends they jack the prices up on all the specials to dinner prices, so Sunday lunch is a convenient time to go, but you will overpay. The price for lunch Sunday should be the same price as Monday.

I just visited CCC for the first time and to be honest I don't understand all the hype. The service is slow and the food is not that special. I can get a better steak at Longhorns or Outback.

We decided to try Cherokee Cattle Company for my husband's birthday. Our server, Eleni, went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we had a pleasant dining experience. The portion size of our food was huge, and we all had to take home left overs. They gave my husband a free slice of strawberry cheesecake for his birthday, and we ordered a slice of lemon cake, and a slice of red velvet cake. The cake slices are huge, and so delicious!!! There was small snafu with our order (my husband's steak was not cooked they way he wanted). Eleni handled everything in a very professional manner. Everything was good, but this would not be a restaurant that we would go to regularly because the prices are a little high, but well worth a treat every now and then!

The steaks and sweet potatoes are always cooked to perfection. I always get the Prime rib when I go but there are a ton of great things on the menu that I've sampled. The owners have really fixed this place from where it was over a decade ago.

I always have a Great meal at Cherokee. Ask for Ron he's my favorite server. The food is solid, I really enjoy the Hawaiian Ribeye steak.. It's sooo good, I'm not sure how long they marinade the steak for but it's my favorite.

Had a celebration meal with couple of families here and was a perfection on all counts, we had this great young lady and she never let our drinks go below half the whole night for all six of us. Steaks and fish were on target with the sides extra large and that did mean all dogs at both houses were happy afterwards....happy house, happy Shiloh German Shepherds, plus you don't bring them big bones they don't protect house!!! PLEASE save room for the deserts, look at the cabinet and same scale as Marietta Diner...dieters forget it, you will lose here - don't even try the bad excuses!

I was not impressed. I got the "Better Burger" and it was not better. I asked for it to be cooked medium but came out closer to well done. Another person at our table asked for a refill on their UNSWEETENED tea but got sweetened yea. Service was sub par. Maybe next time it will be better.

Meh.... Yeah I wasn't impressed. Steak was not seasoned at all. But. .. It was tender. Creamed corn is canned corn. The French dip had a garlic butter spread on the roll. ..ugh... Too much. The aus jus was very salty. French fries were cold and tasted like oil. . Sigh. .. The table bread was okay - it was a cheesy Brad and was tasty.

I had a big event at Cherokee Cattle Company, a reunion of the folks who started the cellular industry in 1982, attended by more than forty folks. I reserved the meeting room in the back. The room was perfect. The staff set it up for me. The wait staff did an excellent job of serving. They were very attentive, and kept everyone's orders and bills straight, even though people were moving around. The food was excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. The event was a great success, and I can't say enough good things about the way the staff took care of us. I highly recommend Cherokee Cattle Company for big events as well as your individual meals!

Popular Place .... But Not My Thing Cherokee Cattle serves a purpose. It's an affordable neighborhood steak house that since refurbished, has a clubby feel ... sort of like Aspens (but not as high end.) There were eleven in our party, and while CCC wouldn't take reservations, we didn't have to wait long on a Saturday night. The place is big and the back room can easily accommodate a number of large groups with their long tables. Probably the most popular dish at our table was prime rib. Generous slabs of meat, cooked as ordered. My friends were happy. One woman ordered baby lamb chops, which were a tad overdone, but she said were good. The portion was huge. My husband had ribs; he enjoyed them, but the rib I tasted was an odd combination of stringy and fatty. And me? There was nothing on the menu that knocked my socks off, so I ordered a French dip sandwich, baked potato and side salad. My concensus: maybe a 6 out of 10. This is the kind of place I wouldn't balk about coming to, on a group outing -- but honestly, it's not my thing.

Always a great choice for a family night out...The menu offers plenty of choices whether you're in the mood for steak or not. Meat lovers will be happy here! Our waiter, Ron, was the nicest guy last night, showing plenty of patience & smiles with our moody child. We'll definitely be going back!

The food was good but the waitstaff is very racist. We decided to eat at the bar since the wait was long. That's when we heard server after server complain about the customers. One even made a racist reference to "table 30" and said it's the table right by the hostess stand so the customers at the bar would know which table. It turned out to be a table with 3 African American women. The bartender who has long blond hair in a braid was laughing along. So sad that racism still exists in this world. Then when we told the manager who looked like he was in his early 20's just said thanks for letting me know and walked away without even apologizing.

Great Steak, great service, just an amazing dining experience. The best part of this was how engaged all the employees where. We felt like they really enjoyed helping us. If you are looking for a great experience and food with actual flavor then you have to try CCC. You will not be disappointed. One thing is for sure, if you have a problem someone will help you, we saw 2 different managers multiple times. They had it covered. Thank You for a Job well done.

We stopped by to check out CCC at around 3 pm. The parking lot was empty and we were sat down quickly. The food was great. My wife had the chicken-pot-pie and I had the rib eye. Both were excellent. The salads were good, free fresh baked cheese bread, and great service. What more could you ask for.

Totally not impressed. We are fans of its sister restaurant Marietta Fish Market so decided to try Cherokee Cattle. My steak was terribly overcooked and just an awful cut of meat. My husband's steak was a better cut of meat and not overcooked but he didn't care for the taste. Said it tasted "smoky"? I didn't complain to my waitress but another waitress came by to clear my plate and noticed I barely ate any of my steak. She asked if I wanted a box and when I told her no she asked if it was ok and I said it was fine, she continued to question me and said that it didn't appear that I thought it was fine since I ate only like three bites. I relented and told her it was simply awful. She came back by and said that the manager offered me a free dessert which I accepted. Unfortunately the dessert was the best part of the entire meal. I would have preferred they just had not charged me for the steak since it was disgusting but I was pleased with the service at least.

Came here recently and had the bacon cheese burger. It was perfect. Exactly what a burger should be cooked to a medium. I also had the wing they do them a little different but tasted great. I sat at the bar but the dining are looked very nice. I am going to have to come back and try one of there steaks they looked really good.

This was one of the worst restaurants that I have been to in GA. The food was disgusting and the service was horrible. The interior was drab. We should have not even entered the restaurant once we saw how dead the parking lot was.

That was a BIG steak! My friends (from Texas) informed me that CCC served Texas sized steaks. Ha! Peppercorn cowboy ribeye medium rare and lots of sour cream on a butter soaked baked potato. I had a salad as well to assuage any vague feelings of guilt. Wow, one steak and potato dinner washed down with a few drinks. Now you start feeling sleep deprived. This calls for coffee and dessert, both when taken in conjunction with the other helps to promote digestion.(sounds good) In Germany we would have a hit of Schnapps "for digestion". Maybe two hits, my cousin was less formal about these matters. But alas we are not in Germany and the DD maintained the lane. Back to the subject. This is a great place. I have been back several times. They are attentive and have always cooked my steak as I requested. I will continue to patronize this resturant. Y 18/100

My server Hannah was amazing!! She got us everything we needed and made amazing suggestions. Me and my husband ordered the Western Luau, and it was phenomenal, especially with the sweet potato fries. Everything came out really fast and the cheese bread kept us full until our food came. The manager even came to see if we were doing okay! The servers seem to be very happy to be there, and all put in a team effort to work together. Over all I had an awesome time, and I will be coming back very soon.
