Good food. Only my son wasn't a huge fan of his, the enchilada plate was dry, we weren't sure if it was missing the sauce??? Salsa was excellent and everyone else's food was too.

I ordered the house special - rice, chicken, steak, shrimp with cheese with onions, green peppers and tomatoes. It was also served with nachos and salsa dip. First off - I couldn't help but compare this to the same meal served by El Jalisciense. The salsa here had a weird taste to it. Indescribable but it just threw me off. The entree itself was ok - the steak was slightly undercooked but not pink noted. The rice was good. The shrimp looked weird, like they were filleted. overall I think I will stick to what I know at El J. Further info: I didn't dine inside, it was a to go order. I had to go inside to pick up though and the lighting is very dark. The seating areas looked clean and the floors looked clean. I was greeted quickly and my food was already waiting for me.

Excuse me, but O-M-G!!! I generally do not care for Mexican food. Cinco DE Mayo '14 a couple of locals invited me out to this place. I was like, Noooo I really don't eat Mexican too much. They insisted that I join, so I did. I only ordered drinks. But, they order this weird rice combination. So, I just tried a spoon full. Man, was it heaven in my mouth. Lol You've got to try the margaritas house special. It's soooo good. It comes with shrimp, chicken, steak, peppers, onions, etc.. So much flavor. Did I mention jumbo shrimp? Btw, I think the one on Zebulon has the best flavor as I've tried two other locations in the area. GO GET YOU SOME!!!! LOL!

Mediocre, Mexican themed American food at best. The food quality was cheap and our waiter was apathetic and disengaged. Save your time and money and just go through a Taco Bell or go to a restaurant that takes pride in the food they are feeding their patrons.

Amazing chips & salsa. My favorite Mexican in Middle Georgia. It is a must stop every time I pass through Macon.

Stopped here for lunch during a road trip. Surprisingly great Mexican food! I had the Margaritas Salad (without the taco shell) and it was great! The shrimp, chicken and steak were very tastefully seasoned and it was topped with fresh avocado. Great menu selections, friendly service, clean establishment.

The food is amazing. I had the Beef Fajitas and I've never had better. The atmosphere is great with 80s music!

Had a hankering for Mexican on the way down I-75 and saw their billboard. Glad we did. Clean, friendly with decent prices. The taco soup was delicious as was the shredded chicken. Both the adult and kid's menu was extensive. The complimentary chips just kept coming until we asked them to stop! On a 9 day road trip this was the ONLY restaurant we feel we overate at, the food was that good.

Great Mexican joint. They have a really good selection on their menu and everything I have ever ordered here has been great. The service is good and the staff is very friendly. Awesome place for a pretty good lunch.

Fresh corn tortillas in their enchiladas make the difference. They have a lot of cilantro in their salsa which is awesome. We eat at Margaritas often (at least 5 times a month) and always enjoy our meal. The Salmon salad is great with the sweet Chipotle dressing. Their grilled entrees are actually grilled and you can tell. It makes a difference in my book. Great Mexican food, always great service. I've seen the manager walking around the floor at just about every location and have spoken to them on a few occasions. Would recommend.

Stopped off the highway to get some lunch. Read the reviews so we gave it a try. The food quality was good but I could not give it four stars due to the all portion size and no we did not get the lunch portions. Food and service were both good.

The Guacamole was good, The salsa fresca was good but a bit too salty, all in all the meal was good. The margaritas on the rocks had the potential to be good but they were too expensive and not enough alcohol for the price. The waiter was only so so... He didn't know how many ounces was a small or a large and din't offer to find out or to show us the different containers. The ambiance of this restaurant is very nice.

Margaritas on Zebulon is a pretty good Mexican place. Service is typically not that great. Food is okay. Their cheese dip is just weird...it's the thickest cheese dip ever. Bass road margaritas is way better in everything!

You feel like your walking into a food court but this is a real restaurant. Good chips, very good cheese dip. Authentic feel. More of an attention to detail than most Mexican places. Service was slow but it was a holiday. Food was good.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
