    Two words....sloppy breadsticks! They are a must-have when eating at Ingleside Village Pizza! Their pizzas and salads are also very good. It can get busy at times but you never have to wait that long. A great local place that is good for families or dinner with friends.

    I have yet to try the infamous garlic knots, but I love this place! Their pizza is delicious and cheesy(I love cheesy! Haha) and the staff is very personable and professional. Definitely my current favourite pizza joint in Macon! AND they're only 5 minutes from my house!

    This place has good pizza. Its not blow your mind pizza, but it is pretty good. May be the best pizza in Macon, I have not tried all the places yet. I like the neighborhood atmosphere. Very cool. A place you can hang out while eating pizza with friends. Thats what brings me back.

    Nice and funky local pizza place in Macon. I've not had a bad pizza here yet. In fact, most slices or pies have been well above average. (The pepperoni, unfortunately, is just average.) The toppings are fresh, and the staff here is always friendly. The white pizza here is very tasty, and the breadsticks (ordered "messy") are outstanding. In fact, breadsticks, side salad, and a beer make for a nice dinner indeed. They recently (early 2009) moved locations and don't have their liquor license for the new place yet . So, sadly, you can't enjoy the usually great beer selection. That should change soon, though.

    I got the supreme pizza and it tasted like Digiorno's. Right down to the sausage. The dough tastes like it's mass produced. I like the BYOB policy. They have great varieties of beers to choose from too. The atmosphere and decor is also amazing. It's almost worth going for even though the pizza is sub par.

    This place has the best pizza and bottled beer selection in town. If you aren't trendy, don't be freaked out by all the staff's ink and piercings. They are good kids - and they make good pizza. The white pizza is my fav, but I typically add some hotsauce. It is even good cold the next morning. Their cheese sticks are great, too, and go ahead and get 'em extra sloppy. Parking can be frustrating and eating outside on their patio is kind of a hassle since they won't let you take dishes, etc out and they don't wait the tables out there. Lunch is a good deal, but it can be crazy busy and beware it is closed on Mondays.

    we just moved here and heard so many great things about this pizzaria. it does look cool and it's great to have a local place that people are excited about that isn't a chain. we just didn't like the pizza. not enough red sauce, and the cheese was way gloppy overboard. wound up throwing out half the pizza because it was too gooey. but it got picked for best local pizza joint here, so i guess we're in the minority.

    I am a yankee, so I have pretty serious feelings about what makes a good pie. Ingleside pizza is very good pizza, for pizza made in the south. It is not NY style. It's not Chicago style. It is Ingleside and it is fine. The prices are reasonable and the space itself is just the best. I love the decor in the this restaurant. When you place your order, they give you some eclectic picture or statue or toy to take back and set at your table. The staff is witty and pleasant.

    Like everyone says, it's "the best pizza in town", but what exactly does that mean when the town is Macon???? The pizza was tasty, not orgasm in my mouth tasty, but good enough after having to wait over an hour to get the pizza. Beer usually helps ease the pain of a long wait and that was the case here. They've got a larger then normal selection of bottled beers. The staff is on the quirky college crowd variety adding to the localness of the place. The pizza itself is about the depth of your regular delivery pizza with a fluffier crust and tons and tons of cheese (possibly a result of me ordering a cheese pizza).

    Macon's top pizza place. Great atmosphere, tons of beer to pick from and hot pizza. It's the way to start the weekend downtown in Mactown. Seriously though, eat here the night of first Friday before you head downtown and you will be happy you did.

    Great college feel to a cool place to grab some good pizza. Crust and cheese were nice, not much sauce and the sausage wasn't great. The college kids working the place were extremely friendly. I give it 4 stars because of the service and fun atmosphere. Nice of the staff to give our kids dough to play with as the pizza was being made.

    I didn't eat pizza here, but I saw it, and it looks fabulous. Ingleside has all sorts of fresh veggie ingredients (as well as the usual meaty suspects). I'm not much of a carb eater, so I had a big veggie salad (which wasn't on the menu exactly, but the girl at the counter didn't bat an eye about me being a pesky orderer, as I typically am). And speaking of service, the kids (ok, college age persons) who work here are friendly and polite. The maker of my big veggie salad actually called the waitress back after she had taken three steps in the direction of delivering it to me; then he carefully (and what I'd characterize as "sweetly") placed two tomato wedges on top. My group had a white and a red pizza, and they liked them both. Finally, this place displays a tremendous amount of personality--there are christmas lights hanging from the ceiling (the big glass kind) and lots knicky-knacky local color. If you are in Macon, Georgia, check it out.

    Visiting Macon and found this little "slice" of heaven! Pun intended??? The bread sticks were perfect! The extra $1 was worth it to make the breadsticks extra sloppy! Actually got another order for take out! The ultimate pizza had massive toppings! The white pizza hit the spot as well!! Ingredients tasted fresh!

    Above average very tasty pizza. Order your pizza and drinks at the window first, and then take a seat. It gets busy (we went on a Wednesday around 6:15 pm), so be prepared to wait. Excellent beer selection with plenty of options for every preference. Menu offers pizzas, subs, and salads. No calzones. Garlic knot/breadstick action was super good. Our group of 9 adults ordered two sets of breadsticks and three large specialty pies and it was the perfect amount for all all of us hungry people. Eclectic decor and hipstery-kitchy vibe appeals to families and teens and college kids. Would go back if ever in Macon again.

    Incredible food and service! Had the white pizza (white sauce with spinach and mushrooms) and bread sticks, which are smothered in garlic sauce and parmesan cheese! The dollar extra to get them "saucy" is definitely worth it! Probably the best part was getting to use the remaining garlic sauce to dip my pizza into! Bathrooms were clean, and myself and my friends were able to split the check between us with ease. Will definitely return!

    Came here based on a recommendation by a random on Okcupid. She claimed this was her favorite restaurant in Macon. I came in, the joint was rather empty. I ordered veggie and their signature combination pizza on an empty stomach that had zero calorie intake for 7 hours. After a slow wait of 8 min, I finally received my order. Upon the delivery of my order, I heard rather old gentleman state that "this was the best pizza I've ever had." Needless to say I was stoked, besides my grumbling stomach. The humongous slice of pizza wasn't much to look at, but hey, it's the flavor and composition of ingredients that matter right? Well, IVP doesn't deliver. The pizza was a very standard pizza that just piles on cheese and standard toppings. That's just it. On a positive note, each slices are very cheap and brings filling portion. Price point should really be one $. I give my sympathy towards the random girl on Okcupid and the old gentleman, for they have not experienced the true ecstasy that one could derive from pizza experience.

    The pizza was ok. Nothing to write home about. The toppings on the ultimate were tasty but the crust was very similar to that of the frozen pizza you can buy at the grocery store. I did love the breadsticks; lots of butter and garlic and cheese. They were perfect.

    We're fairly new resident in middle Georgia, but Ingleside has secured the position of our go-to for pizza! Always fast, friendly service and an experience that's unmatched in Macon. Those garlic dots?? OH MY...buttery goodness! They're the perfect combo of Parmesan cheese & that Signature Ingleside dough & sauce ... they melt in your mouth! But the pizza is the star! Not only is it tasty, but this made fresh to order pie is addictive!

    We are from out of town and found this place on Yelp. Was a great choice! Garlic knots were wonderful and the pizza ( cheese and ultimate) was awesome. We sat "outside" which is covered and closed and had heaters so it was comfortable. Interesting decor and great music. The staff was very friendly. Completely recommend this place!

    I've never had a bad experience here! Absolutely delicious every time! Salads are always crisp & fresh, pizza is always gooey & hot, the subs are toasty & yummy, and the bread sticks are to die for. I'm not kidding. If you don't get your breadsticks sloppy, you're not doing it right! IVP has a great beer selection too. It's such a cool place with amazing food- I don't think l know anyone from Macon who doesn't love IVP!

    Another excellent pizza experience at Inglewood! I cannot understand how anyone would describe this pizza as "greasy" -- far from it! We usually get the Ultimate and it's loaded with meats and veggies pn a soft flavorable crust. My husband normally does not eat the crust but he can't resist Ingleside's. Salad is fresh but the dinner salad could be a little more generous portion. Ingleside is a "must" if you're a pizza fanatic.

    Really neat place with really good pizza. Hard to describe because everyone makes pizza differently. It's not thin crust like New York or Deep Dish like Chicago. It's right in between and LOADED with toppings! We had: Ultimate Village pepperoni, sausage, ham, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, green and black olives, fresh garlic, extra cheese. They ain't kiddin, it's extra cheese, but it's really GOOD cheese! The medium was more than enough for 2 people and we were sad we had to drive back to Savannah the next day and couldn't save it.

    As always, one of the best pizza experiences of our lives. IVP is our go-to place when visiting family in Macon--always good for lunch, dinner or a snack. This time three of us shared a large everything pizza, and Mom got a slice of the white. There was still enough left over for lunch the next day. Warning on a Friday night it is always packed but still worth the wait. This time we had phoned in our order, arrived about five minutes after it was supposed to be ready, and y wife still stood at the counter for over thirty minutes watching in house orders of the large everything going past her head, Finally she pointed out the oversight and they corrected it, but it was a little frustrating. But we still give it five stars anyway because the food is just so outstanding and better than others, and we will never stop patronizing this amazing place.

    Absolutely hands down without a doubt the best pizza I've ever had period. Tina the owner once mentioned to me that she had the idea for IVP based off of Felini's in Atlanta. Well I've had Felini's many times and while I do agree it is great pizza, it is nothing compared to IVP. If you haven't eaten here before do yourself a HUGE favor and try Ingleside Village Pizza next time your in the mood for a slice!

    If you find yourself in Macon and for some odd reason don't end up eating at Ingleside Village Pizza, then you've made a huge mistake. This place is a favorite for a reason - I personally got the white slice (which if you're from NY, is nothing like what you expect - in a good way) and a house slice which was equally good. And as a very well received bonus - they have Westbrook here! Do yourself a favor, stop reading this review and head over there now.

    Best pizza in Macon, hands down. Now, if you go in there expecting this to compare to New York or Chicago style pie, you're gonna be disappointed. It's good but it's not that good. Which is why I say it's the best pizza *in Macon*. The Ultimate was fantastic, sloppy garlic knots are to die for and the beer selection ain't half bad for Macon.

    I came here for a girl's night out and I can understand why people rave about this place. The pizza here is delicious and the slices are HUGE (and really reasonably priced at between $2-$4 a slice)! I ordered two slices and took half of both home for leftovers. There are definitely loads of toppings on the Village Veggie and the White pizza (also if your'e not a huge garlic fan I would avoid the white pizza, but I am so it worked out) but if you're more of a minimalist then you can order a slice of cheese and add toppings a la carte. There are a lot that they offer! The "breadsticks" (more like bread knots) are as good as everyone says- definitely get them sloppy with all the extra parmesan and garlic butter. mmm... I'm trying not to drool on the keyboard as I recall them. We dined in and I will admit that it took awhile for our slices to come to the table- the garlic knots and salads arrived much sooner though (the regular salad that some of the girls ordered looked like an airplane salad to me, but I didn't try it so I'm not sure how it tasted). But I guess they make everything to order- and I wasn't in a hurry. I understand why this place is an institution in Macon and will absolutely go there again and bring the hubby next time!

    This pizza joint is probably the best in Macon, from what I've had so far in this town, but not the best pizzas ever. I guess my peers just over-hyped it for me because I was expecting more. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing. The environment is cute. The pizzas were typical pizzas for me. I don't see what the hype was.

    When you get to Macon, the first thing you will hear when seeking out a new place to eat is, "Have you been to IVP yet?" IVP this, IVP that. It's an institution. Expect it. Thick, chewy crust (which I love), extra cheese (which I don't love, but some people do), garlic on everything (win, win, win, keep those vampires at bay!)... I personally enjoy the Village Veggie and the copious amount of olives on there; I also really like getting a veggie sub with broccoli, olives, green pepper and mushrooms...light on the sauce, or none at all. The location and decor is quaint, kind of mellow mushroom-esque, still grasping at the days when rock and roll was a lifestyle and not a hobby or as cutesy as today's popstars have made it. Stickers from band tours and various social petitions line the windows--calling back to their first location across the street. Macon loves Ingleside Village Pizza.

    When visiting Macon, you'll no doubt stumble across a local who will preach from on high, at length, about how Ingleside Village Pizza is "THE BEST PIZZA IN MACON!!!" They're not entirely incorrect. However, that's not a tacit endorsement of this establishment in so much as it is a condemnation of just how poor the other dining options in Macon are. If you're familiar with Mellow Mushroom, then you're familiar with Ingleside Village. Mellow Mushroom has been around since 1974. Ingleside, since 1992. I'll leave it to the reader to deduce who copied whose style, given that timeline. The pizza is doughy. REALLY doughy...and really chewy...and sweet...and underseasoned. It's somewhat of a hybrid between a NY and Chicago pizza in style, but lacking what makes either of those a positive, unique, or crave-worthy dining experience. Locals will also rave about the uniqueness of the bread sticks, thereby unintentionally announcing the fact to the listener that they have never visited New York. In New York (you know...that place up North with a vibrant Italian community who might know a thing or two about making a decent pie) we call them "garlic knots", and they exist at EVERY SINGLE PIZZA JOINT in the city. The "bread sticks" at Ingleside are decent...but special? Unique? The best? Please, dear reader, for your own sake, and for the sake of pizza as a concept, travel outside of middle Georgia every now & again. It'll do your soul (not to mention palette) a world of good. In closing, and although it pains me to say it, the locals ARE correct; this IS the best pizza in Macon. And having said that, I will now go and commit whatever the Italian version of seppuku is.

    Excellent pizza. I was expecting a New York style pizza and it was not but it didn't matter. It was great. The service was very friendly and quick. The atmosphere was pretty cool. A lot of interesting art. We were there for our lunch break so I didn't get a chance to sample anything from their long list of craft brews. Overall it is a great little pizza joint.

    If there is one thing I have always said about Ingleside Village Pizza, it's this: Hippie's make great pizza. That being said, IVP offers a lot of different toppings, a good choice of beer, and some most excellent garlic knots. The atmosphere is welcoming to everyone from those on a date or families in for a meal. One of my kids favorite games is to spot all of the Elvis memorabilia (being from Memphis and all). So, if you're wanting more from your pizza experience, check them out, and you won't be let down. A quick note to those with acid reflux, the garlic knots will fire it up, but their completely worth it. So, Zantac up in advance and dive in head first.

    The dough is not New York style. It may look like it but taste more like chicago style really filling. Pizza is ok nothing to make me want to go back. The menu said its all fresh and bla bla bla bla but when i was paying my bill i saw in the back a lot of prep made bread sticks and graphic knots.

    In my opinion, this is the best pizza in town. Pizza Hut used to be my favorite, but once I came here I've been to Pizza Hut once and was not satisfied at all. They are always busy but the time it take to be served is amazing. Everything is made to order which means the food is always fresh and hot. I promise you will not be disappointed. The staff is very friendly. Excellent food, service and staff.

    I was expecting a typical New York-style pie, and was very surprised when I got the thick crusted pizza that I did. I was also very surprised at just how good it was!! The crust was not sticky and chewy like many thicker crusts are - it was excellent tasting, good quality bread, with fantastic toppings and lots of them. Loved it!!

    I love this place personally it is one of the best pizza places around. It has almost any topping you can imagine, and you can add as many toppings as you want. It it has short waiting times and still has the flavor that makes you want to savor! They have garlic knots that are amazing! You have the choice to either sit outside or inside. I live right near here so we go there a lot and it is amazing!

    I miss this pizza! I live in Chicago now, and Chicago-style is no Ingleside Village Pizza. I think my family started going here in 1998 or 99, and my sister and I used to fight over who had to ask for the free pieces of dough for kids. Because apparently those people who make the pizzas are scary. My favorite is the white pizza, because the flavor is more complex than some of the others. That being said, the classics are delicious too. The bread sticks are too greasy for me. They literally drip with butter and cheese (fake butter?). But if that sounds good to you, go for it! The decor is very funky. Stuff hangs from the ceiling and there are jester hats everywhere. I loved the coziness and jukebox of the old location, but the new ones are good too. It's always a little louder than I would prefer, especially at the one near Mercer because the chairs scrape on the floor. But the noise is part of the general ambiance... so on the whole, a very good experience.

    I am from the Metro Atl area and I am used to the vast and endless variety provided in that area. Last month, while visiting my GF Lisa, we had a desire to eatt pizza and Yelp.com suggested Ingleside. We called in the pizza to save time but ended up getting there about 10-15 minutes before it was ready. Turns out that Lisa wanted to add an item, to the TOP and they told us that it would be "no problem" and NO CHARGE either. Turns out that we wished we had ordered it dine-in. The atmosphere was very pleasant. It reminded me of L5P Savage Pizza or E Atl Village. On the way back all we could do was smell the thing. When we tore into the pizza and started eating we were both very pleased, VERY PLEASED! My suggestion? Put on the tie-dye and try them out!

    Hello pizza, I love you. I have had the joy of eating great pizza in my life. Cities like Chicago and New York have been so good to me in the pizza way. I have been spoiled by pizza. So, imagine my surprise when I moved into little, old Macon and right next door to Ingleside. It's a little haven of pizza goodness where you can order by the slice, by the pie, add a salad, add a beer. The pizza crust is crunchy and soft all at the same time. Their cheese is perfectly melted. Their toppings are always fresh. It's a no-nonsense, served on a metal pizza pan by a guy with a pony tail, while listening to rock and roll kind of place. They even have Smirnoff Ice for those of us who like it which, according to my friends, is only me.

    A decent pizza, with average topping choices. I personally tend to prefer a wood-fired pizza with a blend of cheeses rather than straight up standard mozzarella gooeyness. I found the sauce to be sweet and under seasoned. The crust was thick and doughy, but perfectly cooked. If you have basic tastes, or are in that mood, then this pizza will do the trick. Great selection of beer, but the wine selection is limited and charmingly served in half filled ale glass. The staff is friendly and it is a nice laid back, family friendly setting.

    Whoever likes this pizza needs to have tongue surgery. It's disgusting. The crust if flavorless, there is waaayyyyyyy too much cheese, not enough sauce. It's more like eating cheese bread with toppings instead of eating a slice of pizza. Friendly staff, nice decor. I don't have a dog so I was looking for one outside of the restaurant to feed it to. I couldn't find one roaming around. I came here because I heard so many good things and was excited upon entering because of the atmosphere and the golden spatula awards on the wall. how this place got such a reputation is beyond me. It's nasty cheesebread with toppings. That's all it is. I really wanted to love this place but I just couldn't.

    Known to locals simply as IVP, Ingleside Village Pizza is legendary in Macon. They recently opened a second location near Mercer University's main campus and moved the original location to a bigger space across the street in Ingleside. I've always felt like the original location has slightly better pizza, but the Mercer U. location is great for grabbing a slice before a Bears basketball game. The rolls come drenched in butter and sprinkled with slivers of parmesan cheese. They are to die for. The pizza itself has its own unique and wonderful taste--much like the decor of the restaurant. Where else in Macon will you find an assortment of lamps and colorful chandeliers hanging from the ceiling? This place is well worth the time you will have to wait in line to order or for a table on a busy night. Just don't start craving on a Monday because they are closed.

    There combo pizza was great! Full of flavor, very cheesy, and a mouth full of multiple ingredients in every bite. I ordered a large to take home, and fed 5 with no problem. They have all kinds of stuff on the menu, likes subs etc.. Definitely above average pizza, the best... well lets just say 4 stars, and I will be ordering from them in the future.

    If you're in Macon, and crave a good pizza in a super-cool atmosphere, then this place is dah bomb. (If, however, you're on your way north towards Forsyth.....you need to check out Jonah's on Johnston). Assuming, for a moment, that you don't want to leave Macon: check out this place. Lunch specials are phenomenal: under $6 gets you fed, and well. My recommendations: beer, garlic knots, and the Ultimate Village: Pepperoni, sausage, ham, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, green and black olives, fresh garlic, extra cheese. Remember: you order at the counter.

    The absolute best place to grab a bite in Macon! The service is friendly and consistently good. The atmosphere is great- cute artsy building with retro lamps and guitars hanging all over the ceiling, black and white tile floors, and lots of tables. And the pizza is awesome! Lots of choices, always made fresh to order and cooked to perfection. The sauce is great, not overpowering, and they don't skimp on the toppings. Plus tehy have a great selection of beers, including Yuengling, Sweetwater, Guinness, and Left Hand Milk Stout to name a few. But the BEST part- the Sloppy Breadsticks. You MUST order them "sloppy", in order to get all the extra goodness. They are really more like garlic parmesan knots drenched in butter and a special sauce, which I have not quite figured out yet. But my goodness, they are delicious!

    Pizza. It's been said that pizza is a lot like sex. When it's good it's really good, when it's bad it's still pretty good, and it's best if your not alone while enjoying it. Toss in a pitcher of beer and it's the ultimate comfort food. Lately I have found myself tending to my pizza needs by making pies at home alone. I've been quite satisfied yaking care of my own pizza needs. But sometimes I like someone else to get me to that "happy place". A few texts later I had rounded up a threesome. I knew we needn't go very far. Ingleside Village Pizza always has been a welcoming haven to gather. Conveniently located in the historic midtown Vine-Ingle neighborhood, IVP (as locals call it) has been slicing up some of the best pizza Macon has to offer for the past twenty years. Little has changed since the restaurant was opened in 1992 by owner Tina Dickson. IVP has moved across the street from it's original spot, but the same funky vibe remains. Colored lights are strung across the ceiling punctuated by an array of retro lamps hung upside down, throw in a velvet painting or 3 and the decor could be described a Psychedelic Chic. As much as I like the vibe of the place what brings me back time and again is the pizza. Walking in I did my usual cursory glance around the place. About half the tables were filled with a diverse cross section of customers, not bad for a Tuesday evening. There were young family types, elderly couples and a couple of tables of 20 somethings. An enclosed patio space stayed unoccupied due to the blazing summer heat, but come cooler weather would offer prime seating. We took a little time to study the menu which seemed to cover all the basics. Salads, Subs, Specialty Pizzas, and of course Build Your Own and features an extensive beer selection. Stepping up to the counter we decided on a round of Morettis and a large White Pizza (ricotta, spinach, mushrooms,garlic) and added a few extras to the mix. Artichoke hearts, sliced roma tomatoes and bacon took it to the next level. (The only thing I found to be missing from the topping selections is chicken) Grabbing a booth, we didn't have to wait long for beers to be brought over. I kept an eye on the open kitchen wondering if that was my pizza being tossed behind the counter. With beers being replenished we certainly didn't mind the wait for our order. Worth the wait it was. The aroma wafted to my nostrils almost immediately. Almost inaudibly I let out a muffled "whoa". As I marveled at this large round thing of beauty placed in front of me, my companions quickly began grabbing slices. Not one to be left out I quickly joined in the carnage. As I took my first bite I had to close my eyes to better study the blend of flavors created by the hipster mastermind behind the counter. It was love at first bite. The tender crust grabbed hold of my mouth before the texture and flavors of mushrooms and spinach sank in. As the scent of artichoke hearts filled my nostrils I found myself engulfed in the ordeal. Letting out an involintary spasm referred to as a grin I decided adding bacon to this concoction was nothing short of divine inspiration. The creamy sweetness of the ricotta combined with the slight acidity of the roma tomatoes created a natural balance of flavors. There was little conversation amongst our group as we each were focused on the dwindling pizza in fornt of us. We all agreed that it was apparent 20 years of experience was behind our pizza. Ingleside Village Pizza has clearly stayed true to a winning recipe consistently making dining there yruly a pleasurable experience,

    My mouth is watering right now thinking about this place. Piping hot doughy heaven bits smothered in golden buttery garlic gravy with a heavy-handed sprinkling of Parmesan cheese on top just to begin with, how can you go wrong? If you are on a diet, still get these, just don't order anything else =) I have a limited knowledge of their menu, I have always stuck with my favorites. The garlic knots with all the extra cheesy buttery goodness please, the white pizza is divine, and their ultimate garden salad with house dressing is a must. Village Pizza has a neat vibe to it, I have to say I do miss the old location a little. The decorations are still funky and fun to look at, the laid back but prompt servers are a treat, and the smell.....oh the aroma of calorie laden garlic knots, but I digress.

    For my money, they have the best Pizza in Middle Georgia. Great beer selection, a white pizza that's delicious, and garlic knots (though I was sad to notice that the Garlic knots seem to be much less artery clogging than they used to. It used to seem like they were actually dipped in purified hot butter before being served). Can be a bit slow if there's a rush, but they're good about service and I've never had a bad experience with their staff. Good stuff.

    Some of the best pizza ever! The garlic knots are crazy delicious and the ultimate slice of pizza is awesome. A few years ago they even made me a breadless pizza with all their great and fresh ingrediants in a pan from home for a low carb friend! Cool staff too!

    Absolutely love this place! I have lived in Macon most of my life, and just recently went when I moved back to Macon about a year ago. I wished I would have found out about this place sooner! They make the pizza the way you want it. And its only like $1 more than Pizza Hut. So this like my go to pizza place. But for some reason the 2nd location neat Mercer does not taste as good. Anyway, if you like pizza pizza and you have teeth, check this place out!

    I feel like I'm going to be stalked and shot for the 3 stars...but IVP is just..okay. The crust literally can not hold the toppings. You have to eat this pizza with a fork and knife...which I do all pizzas anyways...but at least my delicious Pizza Hut pizza can hold its toppings in place and not slip everywhere. It tastes good...I'll give it that. And a large pizza is pretty much an Xxl pizza. Ingredients are fresh, but it just falls apart every time you touch it. Good beer selection though.

    We had the sloppy garlic knots which were absolutely great! We also had a large veggie pizza and added some ground beef on half. It too was very good, no skimping on the toppings at all. I would highly recommend stopping here for a quick bite. The atmosphere is quite good as well, a real neighborhood pizza joint.

    I enjoy Ingleside a great deal. Far better than any national chain place, the restaurant is fascinating, the service is outstanding, and the pizza is great. I've only had slices, but the price was just right; about $6 for a slice and a drink. Not to be missed: Garlic knots. SO good, with oodles of butter and parmesan cheese. The only thing that keeps me from a 5 star rating is the crust; it's a bit tough and grainy, and the pepperoni pizza almost had TOO much pepperoni. I ended up just eating all the toppings off of it. Still worth a trip down this quaint little hidden shopping district just off of Pierce Ave.

    Got to have it! Steps to a Great Pizza Night: 1. Go to Ingleside Village Pizza 2. Choose from a large selection of beer. 3. Snack on some breadsticks - drink your beer while waiting on your Pizza (ours is usually the Ultimate) 4. After the bearable wait due to the breadsticks and the beer; chow down on the best pizza in Middle Georgia I think most would agree that Step 1 is all you have to remember for the great night!

    Better than dominos/papa johns/little caesars/etc.... but it seems like every time I try to get pizza they are closed. Is it closed sundays and mondays? The hours could be advertised better. The food is better than average takeout, but plan ahead and call to make sure they're open.

    I'm sorry but this place just serves mediocre pizza. I think it's rated so high because of the lack of really good pizza and Italian options in Macon! Good looking restaurant though and nice staff. The one item on the whole menu that I think is really good is the sloppy bread sticks (but they would be 10x better if they melted real cheese on top of them)! Drive to Jonah's in Forsyth for a better pizza or Jennoely's Olde Style Pizzeria in Macon!

    Ingleside is a great pizza place. It's got the hippy vibe you'd find at a mellow mushroom, but it looks like actual hippies work there, not the overbaked teens that are at your local ATL area MM. I could write a whole other thing on hippies and hipsters and pizza joints, but maybe another day. I haven't been since they moved, but I never had a bad pizza there. The crust is tasty, and they put a perfect amount of tomato sauce on the pizza so that there's a lot right at the base of the crust. I love that. Great beer selection, if that's your thing. Huge drinks. I'd make a comment on waiting in line and how long it takes to get a seat, but since I haven't been to the new place I'll withhold comments on it, as it may be different. It's great for kids and it's a fun place to go with a large group. Enjoy yourself.

    I won't say it's the best pizza, but compared to very few, it's on the shortlist of good places to go and hang out. The food is on par to be one of the best, but sometimes their lack of care can get in the way. Not to mention it gets crazy cold in there so bring a light jacket if you value your warmth The pizza aspect of it is really good though. I got the sandwich one time and a pizza the next. Both times were really good and I cant help but to think that they really make your food with the utmost care. Interior is awfully clean to go along with their bathrooms. When you feel like going though, make sure to get there early, or you'll find yourself waiting for a nice while.
