This place is always amazing! The owner is so friendly and the lady working the front desk is great. Love this place! Food is out of this world!

Cashier girl quite abrupt , even though I told her it was my first time . Food very good. However, in the Chicken wrap - the chicken was not cut into anywhere near bite sized pieces. Souvlaki very tasty and more reasonably sliced (thinner and smaller lengthwise ), salad and potatoes (Greek style) all delicious. Got it to go. Would recommend open holes on top of to go styrofoam. Every second on the way home makes everything soggy.

Delicious, delicious, delicious! I had been told a couple of times that this place had great gyro wraps. Finally went in today and wow-what a quaint little place! Much nicer and bigger than it appears from the street. Hubby and I were both very pleased with the gyros. And their Greek potatoes are tasty as well. Owner is friendly - at least to first-timers. Two thumbs up!!!!

This place is awesome we have been here 4 times this week. Probably the best greek food in the Loganville, Snellville area by far. Everything taste wonderful every single time.

owner was very friendly and gave us a few samples, bottled water is only 25cents! prices are decent for the portions. my friend's spanikopita was tasty but soggy like it was leftovers from yesterday, other friend's gyro patty with rice was overcooked and also seemed old. my super gyro was awesome and if we ever get a craving for a gyro we will be back, might try the falafel too. not bad but maybe an offday for this place

This place was awesome. The food was exceptionally tasty, the service friendly and efficient, the ambiance was meh (think '50s diner with plastic chairs but with a hookah bar), but hey... it's about the food. Normally I tend to shy away from eating establishments that are connected to gas stations, but I saw all the great Yelp reviews and man, am I glad I'm ate here. The gyro meat was moist, cooked perfectly and not overly salted as these places tend to do. The portion sizes were abundant and their baklava was some of the best with the clear honey dripping from the many layers of properly textured filo dough. Mmmm. The food exceeds the outside appearance of this establishment. Eating here is well worth your time.

This is some of the best Greek food I have ever found. I have eaten here several times and every time the food was awesome. Generous portions with fair prices.

Excellent service! Excellent food that hits the right spot. Family meal was hot meat, warm pitas, vegies and greatest family service in the area. We have traveled world and this reminded me of what we miss in Europe! Recommendation EAT Here for that great experience! HOORAH!

I hate to give this place a poor review because they really have the potential to be a great restaurant. I read many nice reviews before going here. I do not understand how all of them got this wrong unless the staff there was just having a bad day. In fact, my only criticism of this place is the staff, and how my food was prepared. I walked in and was surprised by who was taking the order and cooking the food. I ignored the fact that he was very rude to me. I asked him a simple question about the items that were in the glass refrigerated unit. However he did not fully satisfy the question. I am not sure why I got such bad service other than the fact that the guy was most likely did not have an equity stake in the business. He seemed like the uneducated type that does not care much about anything. The super Gyro I ordered was overpriced at $9.00. It was supposed to come with a Greek salad and fried but I never got the Greek salad. When I asked him about the salad who tried to go around the questions with some bull excuse. My gyro was overstuffed on pita bread that was too thin and small to carry the weight of the meat. This place is a peace of trash and I will never go to this dump ever in my life. The people who rated this establishment good are probablyare fake reviews or people who have low expectations

I am newly vegan and have been relying on yelp to find new places to eat. Today yelp pointed me to the best place yet! The best service I have gotten in a restaurant in a long time. The food was simply awesome. The owner treated us like family by asking what we like and specialized a plate since it was our first time here. Highly recommend!

Athens Grill is still my absolute favorite restaurant. Even after much deserved success you can still count on walking into the small little restaurant and seeing the same faces with the same big, genuine smiles they've worn since opening day. The food is just as good with same excellent quality ingredients. Honestly, with people this real why would you not want to get out and support them? Love you guys... The Falafel Lady.

Now let me start off by saying the actual "Super Gyro" was good. The only thing bad about the meal was the fries. Straight from the Walmart Brand curly fries. Just all around bad. Everything else was decent, but the waitress. Absolutely awful service, bitter attitude, and after paying for two specials we had a confrontation in the store about her not giving me a salad. All said and done, just on her aspect alone, I won't be returning. Oh, and that salad she gave me was awful I should have taken a picture of it.

You might be wondering how I could possibly write a review about a Restaurant located adjacent to a gas station and give it five stars... Well for starters, the food is amazing. I usually get the Chicken or Beef Gyro, but today I branched out and had the Falafel, Hummus and Pita Platter. Totally amazing... It might be the quality of food that you get for the price... Under $8.00 for most meals. It is often the stop home or when in the area to pick up some perfect Hummus to go. And although I have never tasted the Greek pizza, I hear it's fantastic. And I can't talk enough about the selection of bakery items. Not to mention the availability of cheeses, yogurt, and other regional items that you would have to search long and hard for. From what I understand they are opening a new location in Lawrenceville... Another touch of culture to Gwinnett! These brothers are really putting out some good food!

Totally awesome. Family run; authentic food; friendly service. The owner will likely even offer you a sample or two if you appear unsure what to order. You order at the counter, sit down, and then wait while your order is prepared. There isn't really table service. A linen cloth and fine china place it's not (basically everything is plastic), but that's OK; the food is excellent. We've only been once, and we kind of ordered a little bit of everything, and it was all great. I'm going to have to go back a time or two before I can comment too much on specific dishes. It seemed like it'd be hard to go wrong, though. It would be great for take out, too. I just wish it was closer to us. There's also plenty for the kids. We'll definitely return as often as we can - certainly any time we're in that neighborhood.

We go on a somewhat regular basis...the gyro's are really good and their pizza isnt too bad...the other dishes are total Mediterranean authentic...the draw back location next to a gas station. since the overhaul they got rid of the market aspect it makes it a little better...

Every time I have the misfortune of driving anywhere within 20 miles of Loganville, GA, I go out of my way to stop here and buy egregious amounts of hummus and 3-4 plates of gyro, falafel, and anything else I can shove in my car. I take hummus seriously, and only my Armenian philosophy professor could make a hummus that came close to this one. The owners are two Israeli brothers who (if I heard the conversation over my pita nomming) learned how to make hummus from their father growing up in Jerusalem. Wherever it came from, I confess to getting off flights from the Mediterranean and coming straight here. But the very best thing about Athens Grill is that it's in the world renown culinary capital of Loganville, GA. On a highway. Directly adjacent to the Citgo. Magnificent.

Yummy!! If you love Greek food come here! The gyros are wonderful and fresh, but everything I have tried is great! Only suggestion is if you're sensitive to heat during the summer, call ahead and order togo because it gets VERY HOT inside!

A new favorite of mine and I'm extremely lucky that it is just around the corner from me!! So far I have had NOTHING bad from Athen's grill and will continue to enjoy their fast and friendly service and VERY Flavorful and Freshly prepared cuisines!

Tried them out based on the high recommendations of other Yelp users. I love Greek/Mediterranean food, and theirs was very good. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Tried a sampler dish to experience everything...and I was VERY pleased with all of the items. Finished off with dessert, which was a bit disappointing after such tasty entrées. The desserts were quickly reheated (in microwave) prior to serving, which left them not having the best consistency. Overall, I enjoyed the meal and experience and would recommend to try them out.

This place is awesome! Best pizza I've ever had. The service is fast and the people are nice. It does however have a bunch of hookahs but you don't have to eat on that side of the place. I highly recommend :)

Still great. Can't quite give it five stars but the folks who run it are very friendly and accommodating. Display case full of baklava and similar sweets. And all kinds of spices and regional goods available for sale as well. Great value.
